Personally, I can't remember the last movie I saw in the theaters.  It's been that long.  The only reason I've seen the last couple of Avengers movies is because Delta had it in their in-flight movie listing, and I had a four-hour flight to sit through.

The group concludes with a call for a “pursuit of justice” within math.

The NBA is taking tanking to never-before-seen depths. If LeBron and the Lakers in the Finals can’t save this collapse — nothing will. This is the best-case scenario. Imagine these numbers when the Nuggets finally win the West and the media has to push that over the NFL.

It was a good day today

The Mrs. and I spent the day together, just doing things that needed to be done.  We haven't been able to do that in a while.  Eating all three meals together.  Spending all day just next to each other.  It was rather nice.



Been avoiding much of the news lately, as only a tiny fraction of it actually relates to reality, and the vast majority of it is an outpouring of hatred towards Trump and his voters.  Were I still undecided, the vitriol and bile spewed forth by the Left towards Trump after his Kung Flu diagnosis would have made me vote for the man even if he were dead.  Remember, they don't really hate just him.  They hate you, and they want you to die.  Disappoint them.

I listened to the debate on the radio

 I can sum it up in a few sentances:  Trump getting interrupted at every turn, while interrupting Biden at least half the time.  Gropey Joe Biden lying his ass off with every other statement.  Chris Wallace propping Biden up at every turn.  Trump having to take on Lying Joe and Chris Wallace because they're on the same team.

I mean seriously, Chris Wallace couldn't have been more obvious about his support for Grampa Stinkfinger if he had been shoving Namenda up Biden's ass with his tongue while giving him a reach-around on live TV.  Come to think about it, that's pretty much what the latter half of the debate devolved into, with Chris Wallace actually reading Joe Biden his climate plan so that the senile commie could remember what he was supposed to be saying.

Yes, that really happened.  That's not hyperbole.  That's how bad it was.

Chris Wallace spent an hour and a half protecting Joe Biden and attacking Donald Trump, while Trump ended up throwing punches at two opponents instead of one.  Wallace is emblematic of the direction that Fox News is heading.  I guess the Marxist owners of Fox News have decided to throw away any charade of objectivity and go full on CNN.  I wonder when they'll fire Tucker Carlson.

Later last night I actually saw a small video clip of the debate.  Holy shit, Slow Joe looks horrible.  The upper half of his face doesn't move at all.  He smiles and he looks like a comic book villain.  He looks like shit, and if that's how he looks after being in his basement resting for the past two months, what's he going to look like next week?

 One of the roads I use to get to work is called the "Legacy Parkway".  It's a side-road to I-15, which is a snarled jumbled of idiocy and fucktardedness.  I avoid it whenever possible, which means I spend quite a bit of time on the Legacy Parkway.

Other people do this as well, including the some of those idiotic fucktards.  There's always some fucktard on his phone doing 85 in an 65, and forcing everyone else to react to their fucktardedness.  And as I'm riding down the road, watching the fucktards to their fucktarded thing, I mutter to myself "Damn, if the State Troopers spent a week here, they'd make bank with the tickets they would write!"

My wish has been granted.  Last week and this week, the State Troopers have been out in force.  I've seen at least three cars pulled over every single day.  Lots of flashy flashy lights, which means lots of tickets.  And the level of fucktardery going on has dropped significantly, which means that I can ride to work without having to dodge fucktards going lightspeed while texting their buddies.  Hopefully the state has made up a significant portion of their budget shortfalls while forcing the fucktards to not be so fucktarded for a while.

Specifically, 410 out of 422 deaths attributed to COVID-19 occurred in patients with potentially deadly underlying conditions. Forget 94% - this is 97%, and most had at least two to three, if not five or six underlying, potentially deadly comorbidities. And even more striking, several weren't even tested before being listed as having had the virus based on symptoms alone, yet ALL had COVID-19 listed as a cause of death.

I do not believe the Kung Flu death count because I cannot trust the people giving us the numbers.  This scamdemic is complete and utter bullshit, and the tyrants in charge who are shutting everything down are using bullshit numbers to keep their bootheels on the citizens of this country.

A half-hour. Forty-five minutes. An hour. This was upsetting. And let’s be clear: It is not the fault of the police. Though the $150 million “defund the police” cuts have yet to hit the department, the mayor’s prohibition on enforcement against abusive “campers” has served to effectively drain the force’s existing capacity, since police often have to come out over and over to the same locations, powerless to resolve the underlying issues.

Breonna Taylor was helping her drug-dealing boyfriend deal drugs out of her apartment

Just months after the Minneapolis City Council called for “dismantling” the police department in the wake of George Floyd’s death, they are now panicking that there’s not enough policing to deal with the spike in violent crime. 

During a recent meeting that was supposed to be a study session on police reform, Democratic council members instead relayed the frustrations they’re hearing from constituents.

George Floyd was a criminal who died from a drug overdose.  But that didn't stop the criminal element and their Democrat Party enablers from burning the city down.

I hope the entire city of Minneapolis burns.  I want every Democrat in that city to feel the painful results of their stupidity.  I have no pity left for them.  They deserve every bit of "bad luck" that they get.

Can we trust any "official" information coming out of Oregon?

 I don't really care what the FBI says, given that the FBI is a group of Democrat Party thugs and enforcers.  While the areas around Portland appear relatively sane, there's no way you can trust the official lines of communication if they are at all connected to Portland or the Oregon governor's office.

Rioters are willing to block cops inside a building and set it on fire, so why would the fire-setting criminals of antifa and BLM hesitate to burn down the lives of people they consider to be fascists?

Given that any condemnation of Antifa seems to bring unholy retribution, why should we trust the official narrative?  If people say that they're seeing Antifa setting fires, then my response would be make sure you adjust for elevation before you pull the trigger.

 Why in hell would anyone spend six figures to attend a supposed institute of higher learning when the only thing you're learning is emotional flatulence and stupidity?

Apparently a considerable number of future businesspeople, who are going to a leading MBA program, are in a position where they seem to be bitterly offended (in their words, had their "mental health" "affected") by a word that many of them will likely have to hear on many occasions in their business life, if they ever visit a Chinese-speaking country, work around Chinese speakers who might speak casual Chinese to each other, or deal with Chinese clients, customers, or contractors who might do the same.

The people being indoctrinated by the university system in America are going to be highly credentialed, completely uneducated, indoctrinated myrmidons.  Burn the entire system to the ground.  Kill it with fire.

What bothers them are outspoken traditionalists who remind them of their shirked responsibilities. Only then do they throw their ecclesiastical weight around. Only then do they start murmuring about canon law. But for Joe Biden, who couldn’t be more blatantly in violation of it, they say nothing and deliberately give him sacrilegious communion.

Shameless cowardice is now the act of the day for most US Catholic bishops.  

Good Catholics must understand that the Church isn't just going to shrink, it will nigh well disappear in the coming years, with pockets of faith scattered through the country keeping the faith alive while narcissistic sodomites and pedophiles wearing cardinal red caps desperately try to hold on to their influence, as well as the money that influence brings in.  We have an anti-pope who's boyfriend runs a child prostitution ring using orphans and runaways, and bishops who refuse to defend their faith.  This cannot end well.

Last week we had Salongate when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was caught on security cameras visiting a San Francisco hair salon for a wash and blow-out, despite Gov. Gavin Newsom’s business lockdown orders, and local ordinances keeping hair and nail salons closed during the coronavirus pandemic.

Now we find out gyms located inside of government buildings in San Francisco have been open for months, despite privately owned gyms and fitness centers still ordered closed because of Gov. Newsom’s business lockdown over coronavirus.

If that is not enough, Central Coast Congressional Candidate Andy Caldwell reported to the Globe that the Santa Barbara Unified School District allowed the children of teachers and district employees to return to in-class learning, in a secret carve-out exemption at Franklin, McKinley, and other elementary schools in the district.

No one wants to be condescended to and lectured by foolish politicians who aren’t adhering to the rules and restrictions they put in place.

Yes, they do want to be lectured.  At least the people who live in Los Angeles and San Fransicko do.  They want their government masters to tell them what to do, and to take away all those pesky responsibilities and the freedom that they require.  They're begging the state to put chains around their necks and fetters around their hands, to better scrape and bow to their government overlords.

They will vote for their royal owners, the new aristocracy, and not a single thing will change in Kalifornia.

September 11th

 Nineteen years.  I am now in charge of troops who were born after the attacks.  And quite frankly, a huge part of this country has forgotten that they even happened.  They've forgotten the whys and the hows, and they've got back to demanding that we allow a 7th century satanic death cult unimpeded access to this country.

A recent analysis of more than 500,000 Canadian mothers and their children revealed a 50% increase in the risk of autism in kids whose mothers had used marijuana while pregnant, according to a report published Monday in Nature Medicine.

Daniel Corsi, the study's lead author and adjunct professor at the University of Ottawa, and his colleagues parsed data from all Ontario births occurring from 2007 to 2012.

The 503,065 children analyzed — 3,148 of whom had mothers that had used cannabis while pregnant — were followed for an average of seven years. Exactly 7,125 were diagnosed with varying levels of autism.

Researchers found that the rate of autism diagnoses among children with in utero cannabis exposure was 2.2%. Of those whose mothers did not use the drug during pregnancy, only 1.4% were diagnosed with autism.

Look, I get that some folks use pot for medical purposes.  I understand that.  But the vast majority of people are just using it to get high, and it's going to have long lasting effects that we can't even begin to fathom at this time.  And I can tell you from personal experience that a mother who's constantly high CAN NOT properly parent their kids.  No, not my mom, although for all the crap I've put my parents through they couldn't be blamed for wanting to take the edge off.

 Straight-line winds yesterday.  Gusts up to 75 mph.  The University of Utah recorded one gust at 113 mph.  That made things a little dicey on the interstate, as truck after truck was blown over.  USP eventually just told the truckers to stop, pull over, and don't move because they didn't have enough rigs to pull the trucks upright if they went over as well.

College football is the economic engine that runs all the other sports.  No football means no money, and the other sports don't bring in anywhere close to what the football program brings in.

No money, no sports.  Without football, all the sports suffer hits to their budgets.  

When every other sport starts taking hits, it lessens the opportunity for high school graduates to get suckered in to an institution of higher mis-education.  Sure, go ahead and pay six figures for that degree in History or Gender Studies!  You get to play College Softball for the time you're here!  Yeah!  Won't this be fun?  Except you can't have a women's softball program without the money that the football program brings in.

Given that the universities and colleges in this country are the breeding ground for the Marxist, anti-American crap we're seeing on the streets right now, anything that hurts academia can't be all bad.

Cleaning the house today

Gonna be busy, because we're getting new flooring laid in the kitchen and bathroom.  As such, we have to remove everything from those rooms.  It'll keep me busy for a while.

Went on a Veterans Ride today

It was a good ride, up and over Guardsman pass.  There were some corners that had me reading my own licence plate.

Proponents of this insane bill claim it will end “discrimination against LGBTQ young people on the sex offender registry.”

I know that there are people in California who don't actually want to have sex with young kids.  But they seem to be in the minority.

I think the people in charge knew exactly what was going to happen if they let this admitted murderer walk free after killing a man in cold blood.  The next protest would be a bloodbath.  Especially after they arrested a kid for defending himself from a pedo that abused five kids aged 9-11.

There comes a point where reasonable people decide that if they government won't do it's job, then it's time for the people to take back that right of violence.

Why Trump should NOT send in the troops

Well, the guy is a Colonel, so he knows what he's talking about.

But what folks do not understand are the practical problems with Trump using troops (sending federal law enforcement officers presents similar problems, but also a unique and big one – there just aren’t as many federal cops as there are soldiers). The devil is in the details, and the devil here makes Trump pulling the trigger on the troops in the current situation a very bad idea. We should support his strategic patience and not do what the Democrats want by getting mad at the president for refusing to stumble into an ambush.

Every point he makes there is true.  But there's more.  Portland isn't worth one single Soldier's life.  Portland isn't worth sending one single Soldier to jail, and you know damn well and good that it would happen if a Soldier had to protect himself with lethal force that the Portland Star Chamber would lock them up even as they let the Marxist shitbags walk free.

Is Chicago worth one Solder's life?  No.  So why would we send Soldiers in to a situation where their lives are in danger, and they're not allowed to defend themselves?

Seattle?  Ditto.

None of these cities are worth the risk to Soldiers' lives.  Let them burn.

Kenosha?  That might be a good risk/reward trade off.  But not Milwaukee. 

So DON'T send in the troops.  It's just not worth it.

Portland, Oregon is not really a part of the United States

Back home

So, I've been up at the parents' house, helping out mom and dad with the summer chores that are part and parcel to living out in the country.

Normally dad would be doing them.  But thanks to the Kung Flu bullshit, and in particular, the restrictions they placed on hospitals, and the way the medical community reacted, when my dad had a minor problem, it didn't get fixed.  So it turned in to a major problem.  That still didn't get fixed.  Until it was almost too late, and in the end, dad ended up in the hospital for two months, without any kidney function.

A man who was 175 pounds, cutting down trees and fixing fencelines in May, is now an emaciated man who can't lift a chainsaw.

The good news is that he's home, he's getting better, and it looks like his kidneys are slowly coming back to life.  I can't really talk too much about what he went through without a Red Curtain Of Blood falling over my eyes, so I'll focus on the positives.  He has his mental acuity.  He's as sharp as he was prior to this incident, so there's that.  But physically, he's a shell of what he was, and so that meant that the word around the house needed to be done by someone else.

My brother than I have spent about a month each on the property taking care of things.  The biggest thing is firewood.  My parents heat their home with a wood stove, and it takes 6-8 cords of wood a year.  For those who don't know, a cord of wood is a stack of wood measuring 4 feet by 4 feet by 8 feet.  128 cubic feet of wood.  Luckily, since the property was logged last year, there's plenty of dried wood available.  So we got that cut and stacked, and then I went to work on the logs that we brought down this year.  Here's a little sample of one morning's work.

For reference, the bar on that chainsaw is 20 inches.  After I got done with that, I split a pile of red fir that we took down in July.  Do stuff like that.  Wash, rinse, repeat.

We cleared out the shed that you see behind that wood, which contained about twenty years of detritus from country living.  Reinforced the floor, built a bench for dad to work on.  Multiple dump runs.  Did maintainence on Dad's tractor so it's ready to go for plowing in the winter time.  He can get on the tractor and run it, but he can't crawl underneath to change the oil.  Mom could, but she's not really mechanically inclined. 

Cleaned out the barn.  Cleaned up the property.  Cleaned the chimney, which wasn't too bad since it gets cleaned every year, but still had a lot of creosote built up.  Winterized Dad's boat.

And stacked more wood.  And split more wood.  And stacked more wood.  Mom bought a side-by-side, and the Mrs. was able to find one locally, brand new, that she got a hell of a deal on, so I trailered that up for them.  Dad can now zoom around the property without having to worry about not being able to walk back. 

Cleaned and lubed the rails for the garage door.  So on and so forth.  There was a lot of work that just didn't get done in years past, that my brother and I were able to accomplish.  I'll be taking a week of leave around Thanksgiving and doing even more up there, while the Mrs. and my Mom do whatever it is that women do while men are out working.

I made it back home last night, and today I slept in until 0900, which I haven't done in years.

Anyways, that's why I was out in the middle of nowhere with no real internet.

This election, with the riots and the cancel culture in full swing, has forced a lot of folks to re-examine what it is they're doing.  And it's hardened quite a few opinions about the Left.
