Poking that wasp nest

So Og has a running "debate", if you can call people running by and throwing mean words at him a "debate", with a few folks over at his place.  One topic that is repeatedly coming up is gay marriage and how Christians aren't "tolerant".  So here's what I said:

Funny thing about tolerance; when you tolerate something, you’re putting up with it despite the fact that whatever action or object you tolerate is considered “wrong”

When you tolerate something, you are in effect saying that you are willing to put up with x, y, or z despite the fact that it is wrong/evil/unnecessary, because correcting the wrong/evil/unnecessary thing would possibly cause more harm that just tolerating it.

So when I’m told that I have to tolerate gay marriage, I’m being told that gay marriage is by definition wrong, but that not allowing it is more wrong that tolerating it.

You don’t tolerate things that are good. You don’t tolerate things that are beneficial. You tolerate things that are harmful, wrong, or evil.

How long till I get called a bigot?

How many people died because of Bradley Manning?

No, that's not a false question:  Manning leaked hundreds of thousands of documents to Wikileaks, documents that contained information about our actions in Afghanistan, including the people who worked with us.

You think the Taliban didn't scoop that information up?

You think the Taliban didn't act on that information?

Do you really think the people who torture and murder innocent children in order to control their parents as a matter of strategy, didn't take that information and hunt down the people who spoke with or worked with with the US military?

HOW MANY PEOPLE DIED BECAUSE OF BRADLEY MANNING?

So while the ProgNazis of the Left get their panties moist at the very sight of Manning, and wail about how he's innocent, just ask yourself that one question.  How many deaths is he responsible for, both Afghani deaths at the hands of the Taliban who used his leaked info, and American deaths caused because the people who used to give us intel on Taliban movements either would not or could not give us any more.  Chances are we'll never know the true death toll.  But don't bullshit yourself into thinking that toll doesn't exist.

If he spends the rest of his life at Ft. Leavenworth breaking big rocks into little rocks, that punishment will only be a a fraction of what he deserves.

Government Data Gathering

I've heard multiple times on the radio that this is not out of the norm, that the FBI and NSA are just collecting data but they need a warrant to search it, and that "safeguards" are in place.

And had this happened in a government of the people and for the people, I wouldn't be worried.  But given that Obama the Nazi is willing to use the power of the government against his political enemies?

Fuck.  That.  Shit.

The government cannot be trusted with large amounts of data on it's citizens, as it has proven time and time again that it will use it to attack those citizens.

My little dog

Looks a lot like this:

My big dog looks nothing like that.

Cut all Funding

Cut ever last red cent the IRS gets, and shut it down.

The Internal Revenue Service has failed to turn over documents requested by the powerful Senate tax-writing panel, which is investigating the tax agency's practice of targeting conservative organizations.

Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus, D-Mont., and Sen. Orrin Hatch of Utah, the panel's top Republican, gave the IRS a May 31 deadline to answer dozens of questions related to the special scrutiny the agency was giving to right-leaning groups seeking tax-exempt status.
But the troubled IRS let the deadline go by.

Just like the rest of the fascist Obama regime, the IRS thinks it doesn't have to follow the rules.  And it's time to do away with the entire organization, because they've proven they cannot be trusted at any level.  The rot that runs through the IRS is total and complete.

How Appropriate

So it seems like "few rogue employees" at the IRS turned out to be at least 88 people.

I think we should hang that number all over the IRS.  "88" is a number used by the neo-Nazi faction to identify themselves, as "H" is the eighth number in the alphabet, and there by "88" stands for "HH", or "Heil Hitler".  And since the IRS is now essentially the Democrat party's Brownshirts, used by the Left to harass and attack conservatives. I think that pinning the number "88" on them at every opportunity is just....  appropriate.
