Gack

That about sums up how I feel. Gack. I'm finally starting to break up the crud in my chest, but it hurts every time I cough. At least I'm starting to actually cough stuff up rather than deal with empty, wheezing gacking. Slowly, oh so slowly, I start to improve.

In the meantime, enjoy the blogroll. I'm going to drink myself into a stupor and pass out. Hopefully I'll be able to sleep more than an hour at a time.

Gah. Every time a long weekend or leave comes up, I either get sick or injured. I'm not liking that at all.

Linky Love

Since I'm under the weather, which is a nice way to say that I feel as if the Fat Fuck from Flint was sitting directly on my chest, I offer up links to writers who obviously feel better than I do.

Uno: Mark, I've been saying much the same thing for years now. Although I'm fairly certain that my plan called for bulldozers and tons upon tons of TNT.

Dos: Mr. Poretto points out the media's ramping into an all-out blitz against President Bush. We know that the Has-Been Media is the Democrat party's propaganda wing, and they're doing it yet again.

And Tres: Kim du Toit gives us an instructive lesson on traitors abroad, and how the lesson of their actions apply at home.

There. You can go read.

What a difference a day makes

Yesterday, I woke up early. About 5 AM. Went on a three and a half mile run with the dog. Came home, showered, went to work.

Today, I woke up early. About 4 AM. I had a 100.5 degree fever and I couldn't breathe. Yay. All in 24 hours.

I'm fairly certain this has something to do with the 200 square feet of mold covering the wall near my office. I'm bleaching the hell out of that wall as soon as I can breathe again.

Did you know...

...that Hezbollah fighters sometimes wear Israeli uniforms? Of course you didn't.

Well Golly

Them Leftists just know how to show their "peacefulness", don't they?

Don't they?

Other than that whole "Death to Israel" thing, that is. I mean, nothing screams "world peace" to me like calling for the death of an entire country. Gosh, that's peaceful!

Me neither

Riddle: What do the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps and I have in common?

Answer: We all work for lunatics.

That is all.

I ain't blogging today

Because Analog Kid and David have been tearing it up over at RNS, and they've pretty much said anything I was going to say to begin with.

Click and scroll, my friends. Click and scroll.

So, I haven't said much about

John Karr, the guy snatched from Thailand because they thought me might be the Jonbenet Ramsey murderer. He's not getting charged in that case.

Now, what I want to know is this: Why the hell are people so damn upset? Really, why? They don't have any evidence that he's involved in the case, so he's not getting charged, and people are pissed off. Aren't they happy that false charges weren't pressed?

Now granted, Karr is a sick, sick pervert. I wouldn't allow him within two miles of any child of mine. He's getting sent to California to face child pornography charges. He made up stories about giving a six year old girl oral sex, for Pete's sake. He's a sick bastard, and I personally don't see why we couldn't just leave him in a different country for the rest of his life. He lost his license to teach a few years ago. He was about to start teaching in Thailand, and some of the crap they've dug up there shows that Karr is still a sick, perverted pedophile. I don't even want him on US soil. But he didn't kill Ramsey. Why are people so upset? Let him go to jail in California for what he did there and hope that he never gets out. But the media is in some sort of feeding frenzy, frothing at the mouth over the fact that Karr wasn't charged in that particular case.

Sheesh. Give it a rest, people. The case isn't closed.

Let me second this

Pat Buchanon is not a (R)epublican, he just plays one on TV.

He dropped out of the party to run as a 'Progressive' yet the TV pundits allow him to misrepresent himself as a "Conservative" so they can make the dismissive Strawman arguments.

Pat Buchanon does NOT speak for me, or Conservatives, or Republicans and the use of him is a transparent attempt to misrepresent the positions of Conservatives and Republicans.

You want to know the easiest way to tell if a TV news show is flat out bullshit? Just look to see who they have on as the token "conservative". If it's Pat Buchanan, you can be assured that the show is bullshit and flip to another channel. Buchanan hasn't been a Republican for years. Hell, he hasn't been considered a true conservative for decades by now. And yet he's brought in as if he's some great expert on conservatives in general and Republicans in particular, when in truth he's so far removed from the modern conservative movement and the Republican party that his statements are outright laughable.

So DANE, I second your opinions on Buchanan. Just for the record.

"Why we don't trust you"

Mary K. Ham has a post up with that very title. Look, at this point I don't trust a single media story out of any of the mainstream media groups. I'd sooner trust the ravings of a drug-addled nutcase in Westlake Center in Seattle than a story or poll from ABC/NBC/CBS/CNN at this point. But what really drives me nuts is the fact that the Has Been Media continue to try to refute the charges. They're like kids who you just caught with their hand in the cookie jar, and instead of fessing up that they did indeed steal those gingersnaps, they're standing there saying "Nonsense! I'm the most trustworthy kid in the world, and I can't believe you would say that I'm stealing cookies!" while their grubby, sticky little fingers are still wrapped around the snickerdoodles in the fucking cookie jar!

I can't figure out which is worse: The outright tools in the MSM, or the tools who actually believe them.

I'd like to be surprised....

Really, I would. But I'm not.

IDF forces from the Golani Brigade blasted open a Hizbullah bunker overnight Saturday some 400 meters from the security fence near Rosh Hanikra, it was reported on Sunday. The bunker was discovered a mere stone's throw from a UN post.

According to Lt.-Col. Jassem Elian, a senior officer in the Golani Brigade, "Hizbullah dug a 40-meter by two-kilometer pit, in which they built dozens of outposts."

Elian added that the bunker had "shooting positions of poured concrete," and that the combat posts inside were equipped with phone lines, showers, toilets, air ducts, and emergency exits, as well as logistical paraphernalia for Hizbullah.

Note my emphasis. Tell me, did UNIFIL happen to be away for a day while Hizbullah POURED CONCRETE FIGHTING POSITIONS????

Is there any reason what so ever to keep this farce with the UN running? Nope.

Purposely ignorant

Christoper Hitchens vs. Bill Maher's audience. Go read, or go download the video. It's yet another example of how Leftists will ignore what is right in front of their faces and focus on wholly imagined or made up memes.

Gah.
