Day by Day

This quote has been going around lately

I might as well post it here too:

Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.

George Orwell, 1984.  The Democrats have been using that book as an instruction manual for decades.

Apparently, at least one person is tired of the new, political Jim Mattis.

And he wrote a letter

Maybe, your problem, is a lot deeper. Perhaps you ought to explain how and why you (and John Allen), as CG Central Command, did not engage and take out Iranian Major General Soleimani who roamed the Middle East and wreaked havoc and death of our American boys with his infamous IEDs?
Why did it take President Trump to have the instincts and balls to take him out (of course over the objection of the geniuses in the Pentagon)?

There's more.  All of it a slap in the face to a guy who used to command a lot of respect, but now seems to be kissing the feet of the Left.

I knew that Pantifa controlled Seattle

Much like they control Portland.  They pull the strings, and the politicians dance.  But now they've gone from being the power behind the throne to occupying the throne outright.

Just as the Islamic State (ISIS) claimed territory in Iraq and Syria, antifa militants have claimed territory in Seattle, Wash. According to reports on the ground from The Post Millennial’s Andy Ngo and Townhall’s Julio Rosas, protesters and antifa instigators have seized land in the Capitol Hill area around the Seattle Police East Precinct. Like ISIS, the rioters appear to have decided on setting up a government in their occupied territory, naming it “Free Capitol Hill.”

This is the same area that was represented by Baghdad Jim McDermott, just for a frame of reference.  Back when I lived in the Seattle area, Capitol Hill and First Hill were nicknamed "Pill Hill" for the prevalence of tweakers and various other drug users who populated the area.  This is the area who screamed and cried about cops arresting "peaceful" druggies in the parks.  They demanded that the cops stop arresting those poor addicts.  The cops did so, and then the people began screaming and yelling about the used needles in the parks, and why didn't the cops do anything about that?

If Capitol Hill were a person, it would be a crackhead with multiple personality disorder.

Pantifa owns it now.  Personally, I hope Pantifa keeps it.  Seattle deserves what is coming.  Build a wall around the city to keep any more Leftists from escaping it.

Peter Grant points out that Seattle has completely abandoned the rule of law.

In a properly administered state, the Governor and/or state authorities would have intervened long since to protect and uphold the rule of law, and ensure equality before the law for all citizens of the city.  That's unlikely to happen in Washington, where left-wing progressive politics dominate the state government.  The powers that be will adopt a snooty, high-toned, morally bankrupt perspective on the whole thing, and abdicate their responsibilities.
He has plenty of other thoughts which are worth reading.

But sure, yeah, tell me about that fancy degree you have

Since I think I had a harder curriculum in HIGH SCHOOL.

In North Carolina, 26 percent of UNC system students earned a “D,” “F,” or “W” (a withdrawal) in mathematics and statistics courses between fall 2015 and spring 2018.
But instead of investigating ways to improve math education, North Carolina university leaders have decided to create alternate “pathways” for students who are less math-minded. According to UNC administrators, gateway and entry-level math courses—like college algebra—are “stumbling blocks” for too many students.

1)  The fact that these college kids are failing ENTRY LEVEL COURSES is an indictment of the publik skool sistim that produced them.  But if you don't know my opinion on the publik skool sistim by now, let me sum it up for you in a few short sentences:  Burn the publik skool sistim and the Department of "Education" to the ground.  Bulldoze the ashes.  Salt the earth where it stood so that it will be barren for centuries, and leave it as a warning to everyone else who passes by.

2)  This is just more confirmation that the universities and colleges in this country are nothing more than indoctrination centers instead of places of higher learning.  Oh look, little Johnny can't find the value of x.  Let's just take that pesky old x out of there, shall we?  That mean old x should be bothering you!  Here's your safe space!  Don't forget to vote Democrat!

And if you can't find the value of x, which is a basic mathematical concept, then you probably can't understand the concept of economics, either macro or micro, which means that you can't even be taught why socialism is so bad for a country.  You can only be indoctrinated to regurgitate the answers that your Marxist professors want to hear.

When this country eventually falls into chaos and war, one of the main causes will be the indoctrination of generations of kids by the university system, who taught them to emote rather than to think, and who poisoned their minds and their souls rather than provided ways to uplift and expand.

I do not care who Pierre Delecto is voting for

And quite frankly, the Republicans who "won't vote for Trump" are a big part of the reason that Trump got elected in the first place.

This is not your grandmas Republican Party, or your grandpas, or your second cousin twice removed’s GOP.
To say that the party has evolved under Donald Trump is stating the obvious. Those who have followed Trump have had no problems adapting to the new reality.
But for many old-line, “rock-ribbed Republicans,” Donald Trump has proven to be a bridge too far.

If the "rock-ribbed Republicans" (HA!  BULLSHIT!) had actually done what they said they were going to do, if they had fought against the march of Marxism in the government and in society, if they hadn't flooded this country with millions of illegal immigrants to make their corporate buddies happy, if they had actually had some sort of principles other that whatever their social circle thought at the time, if they had actually STOOD FOR SOMETHING other than their bank accounts....

Donald J. Trump would still be a New Yorker hosting a TV show.

But instead of actual "rock-ribbed Republicans", what we GOP voters got was a never-ending parade of back-stabbing Quislings.

And that is why Donald J. Trump is now President Trump.

Archbishop ViganĂ² wrote a letter to President Trump

You can read the entire thing over at Adrienne's Corner.  If you are unfamiliar with Archbishop ViganĂ², he's the priest who blew the lid off of the cabal of homosexual predator priests, including Cardinal McCarrick and Cardinal Wurl.  A good man.  A god-fearing man, who now fears for his life because he exposed the rot and corruption in the church.

In any case, go read.
