Maybe, your problem, is a lot deeper. Perhaps you ought to explain how and why you (and John Allen), as CG Central Command, did not engage and take out Iranian Major General Soleimani who roamed the Middle East and wreaked havoc and death of our American boys with his infamous IEDs?
Why did it take President Trump to have the instincts and balls to take him out (of course over the objection of the geniuses in the Pentagon)?
There's more. All of it a slap in the face to a guy who used to command a lot of respect, but now seems to be kissing the feet of the Left.

I say deploy active duty forces to the cities and restore order.

Let 'em sink. These yahoos think they have a better way? Let 'em prove it to the world. Don't spend one thin federal dime on this in any way, shape or form. If the states don't want to govern their own territory, why should I pay for it?
Deserttrek - I'm with P2 on this. Not one single Soldier should be used to restore order unless we have video of the governor of that state begging for Trump to help.
Let Seattle burn. Let Minneapolis burn. Let NYFC burn. Let Chicago burn.
There is no good reason to send in the troops to restore order in Democrat controlled cities. Let them get what they voted for. and let them get it good and hard.
