Tulsi, Tulsi, Tulsi...

You killed the queen, but the Palace Guards are now furious with you.

Now, through the miracle of rule-rigging, the Democratic establishment has maneuvered to exact a price from her: No appearance at the next Democratic debate. No more taking down the next favorite.

Democrats gonna Democrat.  They did it to Bernie in 2016, they're doing it to Gabbard in 2020.

Light blogging alert

Sorry folks, I'm in a place where my internet hook-up is almost dial-up slow.  I can barely keep up with reading my news feeds.  So, for a couple of days, please entertain yourself with the blogs on the sidebar.  Regular blogging should resume Sunday, when I have a normal connection.

Had I planned ahead, I would have a bunch of posts scheduled.  But, I didn't.  Sorry!

Shoulda posted this earlier

How to make a high-quality 9mm barrel in your kitchen.

Even if the gun-grabbers never win, the ability to thwart their plans is good.  Plus, it's also cool as hell.  I would love to take a gun I built out to the range.  But first, I have to learn how to build one.

What they said

With regard to Red Flag Laws...  I don't trust the gummint any further than I can throw their bloated asses.

From Old NFO:  So much for "due process" with those Red Flag Laws.

From LawDog:  An Open Letter to Representative Crenshaw

There is not a single law that the government will not abuse.  That's been proven time and time again.  Give them an inch, they take a mile.  Give them permission to do anything, you will find them doing whatever the hell they want, and your rights will be tossed out the window.

It's a violation of the 2nd Amendment, the 4th Amendment, and lord knows how many other laws.  And any politician who supports Red Flag Laws are just trying to "do something".

Not just no, but "Fuck No With Cheese".

Credo en Unum Deum

In almost every Catholic mass, there is the Credo.  For you non-trads out there, it's the "Confession of Faith".  For those of us blessed to go to a Latin Mass, it is the Credo, and this is one of the most beautiful renditions I have ever heard.
