Mitch McConnell finally retiring?

I'll believe it when I see it.  Parasites never let go until they're pulled off or they're dead.

On March 8, while attending a Senate Leadership Fund dinner event at the Waldorf Astoria (formerly the Trump Hotel) in Washington, D.C., Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell took a fall that resulted in a concussion, and he’s remained out of the public eye ever since. Now, there are whispers that he might not be fit to return to the Senate and is preparing for retirement.

Sources tell The Spectator that Senate Republicans are preparing for an imminent leadership vote. “Multiple sources confirm that Senators John Barrasso of North Dakota, John Cornyn of Texas and John Thune of South Dakota are actively reaching out to fellow Republican senators in efforts to prepare for an anticipated leadership vote,” the report discloses, “a vote that would occur upon announcement that McConnell would be retiring from his duties as leader, and presumably the Senate itself.”

The time for Mitch the Bitch to leave was a long time ago.  He's held on long past his expiration date, although to be fair it's hard to shill for foreign nations if you're not actually there.  It's hard to calculate the damage that Mitch McConnell has done to America.  The open borders, the backstabbing his own voters time and time again, running off actual conservative candidates, blatantly insulting people who put the GOP in power and then doing fuck all for the when he was Senate Majority Leader.  "But DAVE, what about the JUDGES!?!?!"  OK, he got Trump's judicial picks pushed through while blocking Merrick Garland.  Dude, if you're the Senate Majority Leader, that's the bare fucking minimum you were supposed to do!  So we got judges, and Mitch the Bitch was letting Chuck Schumer figuratively fuck him up the ass on every other single issue.

Nope.  Sorry.  When Chuck Schumer gets whatever his shriveled, anti-American heart wants when the GOP is in charge, that's not good enough.

The only thing making me cringe even harder is who the GOP is going to pick to replace the two-faced shitbag.  Because looking at the three names listed, the only one I don't know is Barrasso.  Cornyn and Thune are two-faced, backstabbing shitbags just like McConnell is.

Mitch McConnel hates the GOP voters

We've known this for a long time.  Of course we have.

Mitch the Bitch McConnell needs to just go the fuck away.  Leave.  That's not a double chin that he's sporting, that's the sack that stores all of the semen from the Democrats he's sucked off during his time in Congress.  Kinda like a hamster's cheeks, only it comes with a set of kneepads so he can service Chuck Schumer while Schumer is demanding the censorship of videos that ruin the Democrat party narrative.

Mitch the Bitch McConnell is one of the reasons I'm not a Republican.  The last fund-raising letter I got from the RNC was when McConnell and John "I'm a fucking crybaby shitbag" Boehner were in charge.  I took a sharpie and wrote "NOT A FUCKING DIME UNTIL BOEHNER AND MCCONNELL ARE GONE".  It was worth the cost of a stamp to send them that message.  That was while I was stuck in Lost Angeles, so....  probably the run-up to the 2012 election.  Maybe the 2014 midterms.

Funny enough, I never got another fund-raising letter from them.

And McConnell is still in charge, so they still wouldn't get a fucking dime from me.

Whelp, the RNC chose failure. Again.

 And again.  And again.

Incumbent Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel fended off two challengers on Friday to win re-election and the right to lead the party going into the 2024 election. She faced off against attorney Harmeet Dhillon and MyPillow founder Mike Lindell at a posh resort in Dana Point, Calif. In the end, the vote wasn’t even close: McDaniel claimed 111 of the 166 votes. Romney, who was selected in 2017 by Donald Trump to lead the party, will serve her fourth two-year term.

The RNC has shown once again that they're more comfortable in the status quo of failure and grift than in actually getting things done.  But this shouldn't shock you.  Mitch McConnell is still Senate Minority Leader as well, so the establishment assholes who hate the Republican voters while pandering to them every two years are still firmly in charge of this shitshow.

Because nothing says "Grand Old Party" like keeping a bunch of two-faced back-stabbing pieces of traitorous shit in charge.  Let's make sure they keep getting invited to all the right parties inside the Beltway, right?

Forget "Build The Wall". Let's close the borders completely, and tell the world to fuck off.

Because other than vague emotional vomit, nobody can tell me why we need to let everyone into this country.

The Jones thesis of cultural transplant devastates the starry-eyed “come one, come all” immigration advocacy popular among progressives and libertarians. It shows that the importation of cultures that are not historically conducive to prosperity is a serious weakness of our current immigration policy. The result could be lower quality governance, decreased trust, less support for free enterprise, reduced innovation, and many other effects large and small. These effects cannot be dismissed with nostalgic references to the Irish of yesteryear.

What exactly do all those immigrants, the legal ones, do for this country?  How do they help us improve and grow?

I'm not even going to touch on the illegal aliens that are flooding our border.  You know, the ones that some members of the GOP want to make citizens.

I’m not a staunch social conservative, but you can arguably say that the recent repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act didn’t earn any dividends with GOP base voters. So, what do Republicans want to do now in the lame-duck session? Pass a grand bargain on immigration that could lead to millions of illegal aliens being put on a pathway to citizenship.

The deal was hashed out between Sens. Thom Tillis (R-NC) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ). There is no funding to complete the border wall—that would make sense. Still, it will permit some two million recipients of Obama’s unconstitutional Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program to get on the citizenship track. The buried portion of this provision is that once these two million are through the process, they can sponsor extended family members so that two million-figure could be closer to seven million, and I’m being conservative in that estimate.

Shit like this is what makes me black-pilled.  I can't think of any other organization that continues to exist despite the fact that it's base actually hates it, and the only reason for their existence is the fact that they're not the opposition.  Most GOP voters would vote for someone who's NOT in the GOP, simply because we're tired of getting stabbed in the back by two-faced traitorous bastards.  Hell, it's why Donald Trump still has huge following.  The GOP is quickly showing why the red wave became a red trickle.  Because when given the choice of the GOP and then the Libertarian party or the Constitutional party, plenty of GOP voters voted for someone who didn't have a chance in hell of winning but at least gave the voter a choice of someone who wasn't going to kick them in the nuts and run off with the Democrats.

I swear, the DNC has to have photos of these people doing horrible things.  Or maybe they really are that pathetically stupid.  Or maybe they're just that evil.

Actually, they're just that evil.

Read both pieces.  And let's shift the conversation from the communist-preferred amnesty to "Close the border, lock it down, and keep it locked for a good long while."

I remember when Forbes used to be a reputable magazine

My dad is and was a financial whiz.  So having a magazine devoted to finance and investing to him was a no brainer.  That was actually my first introduction to Thomas Sowell.  Every edition of Forbes had an essay by Thomas Sowell on the very last page.  I spent a lot of time in my single digits asking my parents to tell me what a word meant because I had read it in Sowell's essay and I couldn't understand it.  They eventually introduced me to a dictionary so that I would stop bothering them.

After I moved out and joined the Army, my dad paid for subscriptions to both Forbes and National Review for my brother and I.  Every duty station, every new place, I had a Forbes magazine and a National Review showing up in my mail box.

I can remember when he said he was stopping the subscription of National Review.  It was right after the "After Trump" edition came out, when NR exposed themselves as the Democrat fellating shitbag beltway swamp slugs they truly were.  Dad and I talked about it, we were both disgusted, and so we said "adios" to National Review after that.

In that span of time, Forbes also underwent a change for the worse.  They dropped Sowell, they picked up some newer writers, and the focus of their magazine changed.  It was less about how stocks were trending, and which area of investing was hot or cold, and it became more about the "Look at this new thing!  It's new!"  A lot more politics started coming into play, creeping into their supposed investment advice like mold over a wall.  The lists of the "Hot New Thing (under 30!)" or "Up and coming players in the investing world! (under 30!)".  Lots of "influential" people on that list, meaning that they were politically connected to the Obama administration. They would have multi-page sections talking about investment opportunities in places like Dubai or some other country that were actually advertisements, but they didn't identify themselves as ads.

I think it was when one of those popped up, talking about how great it is to move your manufacturing to China, that dad and I once again had a talk, and he mentioned that he wasn't getting any real good information out of Forbes anymore, and so it was time to cut the subscription.

Anyways....  All of that popped in to my head when I saw this:

The link goes to Instapundit, who has a whole compendium of how badly Forbes has screwed the pooch with their supposed reporting.

What is hilarious about this–actually there are many things hilarious about this–is that FTX is actually a darling of Forbes Magazine, who helped it vault to the top of the crypto world. Forbes hyped the company, hyped Sam Bankman-Fried as a genius, and along with the New York Times turned SBF into a hero, genius inventor. To the extent that Caroline the fraud was enabled, Forbes, Fortune Magazine, and the New York Times were the chief enablers.

The Times even listed Fried right alongside Janet Yellen, Zelensky, and Mark Zuckerberg as a speaker at a conference to be held…next week. After the collapse of the company–and their coverage of the firm’s collapse has been pathetic and sycophantic to SBF. The Times is covering its own ass, and Forbes has decided to do the same.

Right now I wouldn't take ANY investment advice from Forbes.  I'd rather trust Wall Street Bets on reddit.  I'd rather take the ramblings of a crackhead in Seattle as investment advice instead of listening to Forbes.  THEY PUSHED FTX AND ITS FOUNDER AS A SOUND INVESTMENT!  And if anyone, and I do mean anyone had bothered to due any kind of diligence in checking out a massive, multi-billion dollar crypto currency company, they would have found that the entire thing was a scam.

FTX FILLED ITS BANKRUPTCY FILLING TODAY

IT IS EVEN WORSE THAN ANYONE IMAGINED

AN OVERVIEW:

1) FTX LENT SAM BANKMAN OVER $1 BILLION DOLLARS FOR PERSONAL USE

2) FTX USED CUSTOMER FUNDS TO BUY HOUSES FOR EMPLOYEES

3) FTX DIDNT HAVE A LIST OF EMPLOYESS AND WHAT ALL THEY DID

4) FTX DID NOT KEEP ANY BOOKS OR RECORDS OF ITS DIGITAL ASSETS

5) ALAMEDA RESEARCH WAS EXEMPTED FROM AUTO LIQUIDATION ON FTX

6) FTX BUILT A SOFTWARE TO HIDE THE MISUSE OF CUSTOMER FUNDS

7) FTX HAD $400 MILLION IN UNAUTHORIZED TRANSFERS THE DAY THEY FILED FOR BANKRUPTCY

8) FTX HAD BILLIONS IN INVESTMENTS OTHER THAN CRYPTO BUT THERE ARE NO BOOKS OR RECORDS OF ANY OF IT.

9) SAM BANKMAN MADE ALL BUSINESS DECISIONS ON APPS THAT AUTO DELETED EVERYTHING AFTER SOME TIME

HE ENCOURAGED ALL EMPLOYEES TO DO THE SAME

Sam Bankfraud-Fried was touted as some sort of financial genius.  But every picture I've ever seen of him makes him look like a fat, sloppy retard.  Looking at that list up there, detailing just about everything wrong with FTX and how it "operated", I would bet that I'm far more correct than the people who touted him as a genius.

But that didn't matter to Forbes, did it?  Especially with all those millions and billions of dollars being laundered through Ukraine and FTX back to the Democrat party.  Oh, you didn't hear about that?  The US Government under Democrat control (with stupid dipshit fuckstain party support) was giving it's billions to Ukraine.  Ukraine was "buying" FTX.  Billions of dollars worth.  And Sam Bankfraud-Fried was in turn giving at least 40 million dollars back to the Democrats.  And also the six stupid dipshit fuckstains who voted to impeach Trump.  Funny how that works, eh?

Anyways....  there's a trip down memory lane with me, tied in with current events.  Don't trust Forbes magazine.  They're converged, and they have been for quite some time.  And never, ever ever EVER allow yourself to be tricked into investing into a company that all the "smart people" tell you to invest in.  Because that's how FTX was allowed to happen.  In a just world, the people who pushed this scam would be publicly flogged and then hung from the neck until dead.  But we don't live in a just world, alas.

Yet another reason to jettison McConnell and McCarthy

These so-called "leaders" do nothing but fill their pockets while playing failure theater.

What is most upsetting about the Democrats’ triumph — with youths preferring that party over Republicans by a whopping 28-point margin, according to exit polls — is that unique from most cycles, Republicans had one important advantage with young, particularly college-aged, voters: Democrats had spent the last two years uniquely torturing Gen Z with ineffective and abusive Covid policies.

Unfortunately, neither McConnell nor McCarthy did anything to capitalize on the incredible circumstances. They had zero plan for recruiting Gen Z voters, opting essentially to hand 10 percent of eligible voters to Democrats, which the left took full advantage of.

It's not just that the GOP establishment is a bunch of back-stabbing two-faced traitorous pieces of shit, because they absolutely are.  It's that they've been living in their bubble for so long that they're clueless about anything and anyone outside that bubble.  What's their strategy to court Gen Z voters?  They don't have one.  And right now I think that Gen Z has the chance to be the most conservative generation since the Reagan youth.

The Covidiacy fucked Gen Z over hard.

Student Loans, and pushing kids to get worthless degrees while accumulating hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt.  You could attack the university system in America AND court Gen Z at the same time.  Win-win!  But the GOPe can't, or won't.  Or they don't even understand why it's an issue.

The Democrats are about to get us sucked into WWIII over Ukraine, which is nothing more than a money laundering spot for US politicians.  Who's gonna fight that war?  Gen Z.

Hell, there's three right off the top of my head.  Give me a day to sit down and think about it and I could come up with a lot more reasons why Gen Z should be voting conservative.  But Bitch McConnell and McCarthy couldn't be fucking bothered.

All of the GOPe needs to be excised, like a gangrenous limb.

I'll believe it when I see it

When McConnell gets sent his walking orders, then I'll buy what you're selling.

“The old party is dead. Time to bury it. Build something new,” Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) wrote on social media. A day before, Hawley said Republican Senate leaders are failing to back initiatives that are supported by their voters.

“Washington Republicanism lost big Tuesday night. When your ‘agenda’ is cave to Big Pharma on insulin, cave to [Sen. Chuck] Schumer on gun control & Green New Deal (‘infrastructure’), and tease changes to Social Security and Medicare, you lose,” Hawley wrote over the weekend.

The GOP establishment is such a pack of two-faced backstabbing pieces of shit, and has been so for so long, that a large swath of people who vote R only do so because they can't stomach voting for the Anti-American Communist Democrats.  McConnell is pure establishment.  He's needed to go for decades.  So when the GOP actually tells him to take a hike and elects someone else as Minority Leader (as it's looking it will be), then I'll start to hope that maybe someone is going to take the concerns of this country seriously.

I want to know what fucking backstabbing traitorous pieces of shit Republicans voted for this fucking bill

Was it too much to ask for you to actually fucking stand on the principles you claim to have?  Apparently so.

The House passed the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill, which will now go to President Biden for a signature.

The votes were 228 in favor of the bill, and 206 against passing it.

Six Democrats voted against the legislation, while 13 Republicans voted in favor of it.

The House has just handed Biden a major legislative victory.

There needs to be thirteen pikes set up in front of the legislative building, and thirteen fucking GOP heads on them.  Once again the stupid fucking worthless piece of shit GOP has snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.  Kevin McCarthy can go fucking suck-start a shotgun, since he's apparently worthless as a Minority Leader.

And the Second Civil War gets even closer, thanks to those fucking puddles of diseased dick drippings.  What a pathetic shit show.  What a horrible display of two-faced quisling surrender.

Taking their ball and going home

 Well........  bye!

More than 100 Republicans, including some former elected officials, are preparing to release a letter this week threatening to form a third party if the Republican Party does not make certain changes, according to an organizer of the effort.

The statement is expected to take aim at former President Donald J. Trump’s stranglehold on Republicans, which signatories to the document have deemed unconscionable.

Go right on ahead there, kiddos.  Do it.  I mean it, go take your ball and play with all the "cool" kids down on K street.  Do it today.  Don't wait.  The sooner the Republican Party is done with your pathetic, sniveling asses, the better off this country will be.

Don't go away mad, just go away.

If this is true

And that is an "if", but if it's true, Cheney needs to be dumped faster than a ten dollar whore.

Rep. Liz Cheney secretly masterminded an extraordinary Washington Post op-ed authored by top military leaders, just three days before the Capitol riot, it has been claimed.

The letter published in the Washington Post contained a stark warning from 10 Defense Secretaries from both parties.

Liz Cheney is the GOP establishment.  And quite frankly, my next vote is going to whomever pisses off the GOP establishment the most.

I read this headline, and I think "Well, Duh!"

Senate Republicans are Failing Us.....  Big Time.

The Democratic Party stood virtually united “resisting” Trump for four years. Their stalwart opposition was ruthless and unwavering. It had been my hope that if there was any lasting legacy of Trump in the Republican Party it would be that he taught them not just to not walk away from a fight but to actually fight back.

Yet again, I find myself disappointed.

We've all known for years that the GOP establishment was a collection of spineless grifters, gutless cowards, back-stabbing traitors, pathetic wimps in gimp suits who give up any and all principles when told to do so by the DNC masters.

Now, we've gotten some good ones in office over the past few election cycles, but Mitch McConnell is still in control.  And that means that there are a majority of RINOs and traitors in the GOP to keep him in power.

Any spine McConnell showed over the last four years was loaned to him by Trump.  And when Trump left, so did that spine.

The Establishment can go fuck themselves

I don't have an argument with the author of this piece, but it's what his friend said close to the end that gave me a red curtain of blood over my eyes.

Not long after I got to CPAC this year, I tweeted that GOP voters will no longer accept candidates who do not support their interests. A good friend who hews closer to the old establishment than I do responded, asking what if the voters don’t know what is in their own interests.

They honestly think they're smarter than you.  They honestly think they have the right to tell you what to do, and what's in your own "best interests".

They have fucked this country beyond all belief.  They have surrendered every last principle they claimed to have, they've given away your freedoms hand over fist.  They've turned a free and prosperous nation into a marxist police state, and they think they can tell you what your own best interest is.

Fuck the GOP establishment.  They are nothing but arrogant, clueless, isolated, insulated from reality, big-state, nanny-government shitstains, and they can all go to hell.

Do read the whole thing, because despite what the establishment GOP thinks, we're not going back to allowing them to stab us in the back and sell us to the National Socialist Democrat Workers Party.  This is Trump's GOP, and we're far better for it.

Trump tells Haley to pound sand

Why in the hell should Trump help the people who shit on him?  He shouldn't.

NIKKI HALEY reached out to former President DONALD TRUMP on Wednesday to request a sit-down at Mar-a-Lago, but a source familiar tells Playbook that he turned her down. The two haven’t spoken since the insurrection on Jan. 6, when Haley blasted Trump for inciting his supporters to storm the Capitol.

The GOP rode Trump's coattails in 2020, and the GOP establishment repaid him by stabbing him in the back at every opportunity.  Trump should use his clout to primary the hell out of the bastards, or in the case of Haley, just let her rot in obscurity.

I say "No" on a third party

You kick the shitbags out of the GOP.  Why rebuild what you need, when you can take over an already-existing structure?

Look at the GOP just five years ago and look at it today. Yeah, we have the rump Renfield contingent with tiresome goofs like Mitt (R?-Miracle Whip). We have others who alternate between establishment-curious moderate wimpiness and coming through for us at many key junctures – Susan Collins, Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham. But look at what we don’t have – Jeff Flake is gone. Jeb! is a flabby footnote. And as hard as Nikki! is trying to make herself happen, she’s not happening. The GOP has shifted our way – on wars, on culture, on tech, on playing to win. We have earned the support of Americans of all races in unprecedented numbers because we have focused on people who – remember this? – work hard and play by the rules. That’s progress. Not enough, not nearly, but to deny the progress because you are angry only empowers the people you are angry at. We can’t throw out what we have already achieved simply because we have much more work to do. Take the W, people.

Romney will be going when his time is up.  He's going to get primaried, trust me.  More importantly, hit the GOP at the local level, kick the bums who support the RINOs, and watch the RINOs die off.

There's a reason they are called "The Stupid Party", Kurt

Kurt Schlichter takes a bat to the GOP.  But I don't think it will do any good.

People keep telling you GOP-types to shape up. Tucker Carlson’s ratings are reaching low earth orbit thanks to his merciless pillorying of you empty suits. Maybe you should listen to the voters instead of the overpaid doofuses you are paying a ton of money to in order to lose your elections for you. It’s not hard to not fail. It’s not hard to help your voters instead of your opponents. The Democrats manage to do it, and they’re a pack of brother-marrying, pinko weirdos who think men get periods and that the Russians are to blame for everything, including their myriad sexual inadequacies.

People like Rick Wilson run the GOP.  In case you aren't aware of who Rick Wilson is...

The bottom line is that the GOP establishment is still a bunch of Democrat-fellating bitches, and assuming we can right the ship it's going to take more than a couple election cycles.  The GOP is still fighting against Trump right now, or at least allowing him to take the full brunt of the attack while they spread their asscheeks for the DNC and whimper "Yes Daddy!"  There's a few notable exceptions.  But they're just that:  EXCEPTIONS.

I'm likely to agree with the people who say we can't vote our way out of this.  That doesn't mean we shouldn't try, but buy ammo.  Buy more ammo.

I do not care who Pierre Delecto is voting for

And quite frankly, the Republicans who "won't vote for Trump" are a big part of the reason that Trump got elected in the first place.

This is not your grandmas Republican Party, or your grandpas, or your second cousin twice removed’s GOP.
To say that the party has evolved under Donald Trump is stating the obvious. Those who have followed Trump have had no problems adapting to the new reality.
But for many old-line, “rock-ribbed Republicans,” Donald Trump has proven to be a bridge too far.

If the "rock-ribbed Republicans" (HA!  BULLSHIT!) had actually done what they said they were going to do, if they had fought against the march of Marxism in the government and in society, if they hadn't flooded this country with millions of illegal immigrants to make their corporate buddies happy, if they had actually had some sort of principles other that whatever their social circle thought at the time, if they had actually STOOD FOR SOMETHING other than their bank accounts....

Donald J. Trump would still be a New Yorker hosting a TV show.

But instead of actual "rock-ribbed Republicans", what we GOP voters got was a never-ending parade of back-stabbing Quislings.

And that is why Donald J. Trump is now President Trump.

If the DNC is a toxic dumpster fire of anti-Americanism

The GOP is a toxic dumpster fire of stupidity and greed.

At some point, if Republicans can’t provide a bold alternative, we need to ask: Why even have a Republican Party? Republicans talk tough against the Democrats whenever it doesn’t matter, but every time the ball is actually in play to pass major legislation during our most challenging moments, they sign on to whatever the Democrats want.

Donald Trump seems to be one of the few people in Washington D.C. who actually care about Normal Americans.  Which is why he's President, and the usual GOP clown car failed.

The GOP is still in the grip of the same losers who tried to foist Jeb! on us.  Pathetic, sniveling, craven pieces of shit who do whatever the Democrats want them to do, and it's infuriating.

We needed adults with backbones during this crisis.  We have wet, limp, brainless tapeworms.

If we get through this, it'll be because President Trump once again dragged the GOP to victory.

The Stupid Party Loses Again

If you don't run a candidate against the National Socialist Democrat Workers Party, how can you expect to win?  Hell, how can you expect that people even know they have a choice?

Republicans slammed Fairfax County Sheriff Stacey A. Kincaid, a Democrat, for ending an agreement with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) last year but wound up not running anyone against her in Tuesday's election.

When I was stationed in Richmond, I would listen to the political talk radio while I drove to work.  Well, on the days I wasn't riding to work.  And my takeaway about the Virginia GOP then was that they were a bunch of establishment RINOs who cared more about getting into the right cocktail parties than winning elections.

Lotsa never-Trumpers in VA, donchaknow.  Hardly surprising given that Northern Virginia is essentially D.C. suburbs, filled with various parasites, marxists, deep-state workers and other people detrimental to the continuation of the United States of America.

But I recall the 2016 primaries, and the VA GOP hated Trump.  The voters loved him, but the party establishment hated him.

So they haven't recovered from that, it seems.  Nor have they made any improvements.  The Virginia GOP is what happens when blue-bloods from Richmond morph into "Upper Class Twits of the Year".

And now Virginia is fucked.

Stupid loser aide to pathetic loser exposes just what losers the GOP are.

This is why I can't bring myself to join the Republican Party.  Because they're a group of two-faced, mealy-mouthed, back-stabbing traitorous pieces of shit.

Mike Murphy, a former adviser to Mitt Romney's losing 2012 presidential campaign, told NBC's Andrea Mitchell that a Republican senator told him that there were 30 GOP Senators who would vote to convict Donald Trump in a Senate trial if it were a secret vote.

All I can say is thank god Mitt Romney didn't win.  Between him and Paul Ryan I can't imagine who would have been the first to run over and suck Nancy Pelosi's flop-sweat off of her ass.  America would have been much worse off, and Trump might not have ever decided to run and expose the whole corrupt charade.

And the Republicans who are NOT back-stabbing two-faced shitbags are too weak to do anything about the ones who are.  Remember when they tried to oust John Boehner?  A few stalwart Representatives actually trying to do what their voters wanted them to do instead of kissing Democrat ass, and what happened?

A big fat nada, and the actual conservative representatives got shoved into a hole until Boehner left.  The GOP had a chance to show that they both heard and understood what their voters wanted, and they planted knives in our back while making sure that Nancy Pelosi got everything she wanted.

When the civil war comes, you can blame the GOP right along with the Democrats.  With some exceptions, they're pretty much the same thing.  The only thing that keeps the Stupid Party in power is the fact that while there's a 50/50 chance that the Stupid Party will destroy America, there's a 100% chance that the Democrats will do so.  So I'm not voting for the Stupid Party, I'm voting against the Democrats.  I've read my Heinlein, dammit.
