I remember when Forbes used to be a reputable magazine

 My dad is and was a financial whiz.  So having a magazine devoted to finance and investing to him was a no brainer.  That was actually my first introduction to Thomas Sowell.  Every edition of Forbes had an essay by Thomas Sowell on the very last page.  I spent a lot of time in my single digits asking my parents to tell me what a word meant because I had read it in Sowell's essay and I couldn't understand it.  They eventually introduced me to a dictionary so that I would stop bothering them.

After I moved out and joined the Army, my dad paid for subscriptions to both Forbes and National Review for my brother and I.  Every duty station, every new place, I had a Forbes magazine and a National Review showing up in my mail box.  

I can remember when he said he was stopping the subscription of National Review.  It was right after the "After Trump" edition came out, when NR exposed themselves as the Democrat fellating shitbag beltway swamp slugs they truly were.  Dad and I talked about it, we were both disgusted, and so we said "adios" to National Review after that.

In that span of time, Forbes also underwent a change for the worse.  They dropped Sowell, they picked up some newer writers, and the focus of their magazine changed.  It was less about how stocks were trending, and which area of investing was hot or cold, and it became more about the "Look at this new thing!  It's new!"  A lot more politics started coming into play, creeping into their supposed investment advice like mold over a wall.  The lists of the "Hot New Thing (under 30!)" or "Up and coming players in the investing world! (under 30!)".  Lots of "influential" people on that list, meaning that they were politically connected to the Obama administration. They would have multi-page sections talking about investment opportunities in places like Dubai or some other country that were actually advertisements, but they didn't identify themselves as ads.

I think it was when one of those popped up, talking about how great it is to move your manufacturing to China, that dad and I once again had a talk, and he mentioned that he wasn't getting any real good information out of Forbes anymore, and so it was time to cut the subscription.

Anyways....  All of that popped in to my head when I saw this:

What is hilarious about this–actually there are many things hilarious about this–is that FTX is actually a darling of Forbes Magazine, who helped it vault to the top of the crypto world. Forbes hyped the company, hyped Sam Bankman-Fried as a genius, and along with the New York Times turned SBF into a hero, genius inventor. To the extent that Caroline the fraud was enabled, Forbes, Fortune Magazine, and the New York Times were the chief enablers.

The Times even listed Fried right alongside Janet Yellen, Zelensky, and Mark Zuckerberg as a speaker at a conference to be held…next week. After the collapse of the company–and their coverage of the firm’s collapse has been pathetic and sycophantic to SBF. The Times is covering its own ass, and Forbes has decided to do the same.

Right now I wouldn't take ANY investment advice from Forbes.  I'd rather trust Wall Street Bets on reddit.  I'd rather take the ramblings of a crackhead in Seattle as investment advice instead of listening to Forbes.  THEY PUSHED FTX AND ITS FOUNDER AS A SOUND INVESTMENT!  And if anyone, and I do mean anyone had bothered to due any kind of diligence in checking out a massive, multi-billion dollar crypto currency company, they would have found that the entire thing was a scam.

Sam Bankfraud-Fried was touted as some sort of financial genius.  But every picture I've ever seen of him makes him look like a fat, sloppy retard.  Looking at that list up there, detailing just about everything wrong with FTX and how it "operated", I would bet that I'm far more correct than the people who touted him as a genius.

But that didn't matter to Forbes, did it?  Especially with all those millions and billions of dollars being laundered through Ukraine and FTX back to the Democrat party.  Oh, you didn't hear about that?  The US Government under Democrat control (with stupid dipshit fuckstain party support) was giving it's billions to Ukraine.  Ukraine was "buying" FTX.  Billions of dollars worth.  And Sam Bankfraud-Fried was in turn giving at least 40 million dollars back to the Democrats.  And also the six stupid dipshit fuckstains who voted to impeach Trump.  Funny how that works, eh?

Anyways....  there's a trip down memory lane with me, tied in with current events.  Don't trust Forbes magazine.  They're converged, and they have been for quite some time.  And never, ever ever EVER allow yourself to be tricked into investing into a company that all the "smart people" tell you to invest in.  Because that's how FTX was allowed to happen.  In a just world, the people who pushed this scam would be publicly flogged and then hung from the neck until dead.  But we don't live in a just world, alas.

That's the headline from the Washington Fucking Post.  Fuck you, you fucking fuck-faced cunts.

Case in point: The Washington Post. The Jeff Bezos-owned publication published an in-depth analysis of how the massacre unfolded, declaring, “Here’s what we know so far on the sequence of events that led to the Waukesha tragedy caused by a SUV.”

“Caused by a SUV”?

Really? An SUV caused the tragedy? Who wrote that line?

I’m not kidding either. This is not a joke or a hoax. Here’s the tweet, which not only shows the ridiculous line in the text of the tweet but was in the metadata of the article itself.

The same media that tripped all over itself to blame Kyle Rittenhouse for defending himself from a violent pedo rapist, a violent domestic abuser and a violent felon are the same people who refuse to admit that a black man who hates white people ran over a CHRISTMAS PARADE and killed six, wounding dozens more.

The SUV didn't do jack-shit.  The BLM supporting anti-white racist Darrel Brooks is the one who murdered those people.

But the Democrat-Media complex doesn't want you to know that.  It upsets their narrative.

If you've read this blog for any period of time, you know that I am no fan of the Devil's Lettuce.  However, blaming marijuana for heart attacks is pretty much the definition of blithering bullshit.  Weed might do a lot of things, but random cardiac problems is not one of them.

This is like the ad on a bus in Britain talking about how children can have strokes just like adults.  Uh, no they can't.  The incident of strokes in kids is so vanishingly rare that it is effectively zero, and the kids who do have strokes have underlying health problems.  Kids don't just randomly have strokes, unless you've injected them with an experimental drug that produces a spike protein that scrambles their system and causes clots to form that lead to strokes.

Just like people who smoke pot don't have random heart attacks unless you've injected them with an experimental cocktail that causes heart problems.  

Be aware of the propaganda, folks.  The government and their media flunkies are pushing it non-stop.

Drooling Joe is owned by China and Russia

Hunter Biden claimed Russians stole another one of his laptops for blackmail while he was close to overdosing in a Las Vegas hotel room, DailyMail.com can reveal.

The alleged incident would mean Hunter lost a total of three computers – the first abandoned at a Delaware computer store and the second seized by federal agents – each likely to hold sensitive information on President Joe Biden and the embarrassing pictures, videos and communications of his son.

The third laptop still appears to be missing – and was taken by Russian drug dealers after they partied with Hunter in Vegas, he told a prostitute in a conversation caught on camera.

Imagine if this was Don Jr.  Imagine if our enemies had video of Don Jr. or Eric Trump high on crack and banging Russian hookers.  Imagine the nightly, wall-to-wall coverage this would have.  And the media is just yawning and acting like this never happened.  

When the balloons go up, the media is going to be treated as enemy forces, because they are.

If you want honest reporting about Democrats, you have to leave the country

Hotel bills show Hunter then moved to a $470-per-night room at The Jeremy in West Hollywood later that month, where he hired another escort while under the protection of two recently retired Secret Service agents.

And messages saved on the laptop show Joe Biden might have inadvertently been the person actually paying the bill for the wild week, according to the messages obtained by the Post.

Just imagine how different this country would be if we had actual reporters, and not Democrat operatives running the media here.

"Journalists" show their slavish devotion to Drooling Joe

 This is nauseating to watch.  So called "reporters" are staring at Joe Biden like a teen girl in the 80's stared at a poster of Tom Cruise up on her wall.  

“Best test driver ever,” said one reporter. Someone also commented on how “fantastic” the pull away was; is this for real? The man did what all old drivers do: Hit the gas while not knowing what he’s doing. Biden probably could have run people over and not a single reporter here would have cared. That’s the way of the world. Democrats protect their own. This isn’t new, but it shows again the two separate rules doctrine while also exposing that the years of the media crying out how Trump was erasing press freedoms because he bashed their trash coverage was just grade-A political theater, like continuing to wear a mask even though you’ve been vaccinated for COVID.

Also, making jokes about killing the one journalist who asked an actual question?  I supposed that's totes cool now, right?

Brian Sicknick was turned into a tool by the Left

 I guarantee he wasn't the only one.

An unruly crowd entered the US Capitol on Jan. 6, while then-President Donald Trump addressed a rally several blocks away. One member of that crowd, Ashli Babbitt, an unarmed woman and a veteran, was shot by the Capitol Police. The next day, Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick died in the hospital.

On Jan. 8, The New York Times reported that Officer Sicknick had died after being struck in the head with a fire extinguisher by violent Trump supporters. This story was quickly repeated by numerous other media outlets. Millions believed it.

The story was false.

Nothing about January 6th was as the Democrat Media Complex reported it.  Brian Sicknick was simply someone they could use to vilify Trump and conservatives.  And you're still not allowed to know who shot and killed Ashli Babbit.  I have a friend who is convinced that Ashli Babbit was never shot, and it's all just a government plot.  She was just an actor in some play.  I have no clue what the purpose of said plot would be.

A recording of the call definitively proved that the quotes cited by the Washington Post, and then parroted by other outlets, were never actually said by the president at all.

But, as Becket Adams explains at the Washington Examiner, “the Washington Post’s dud of a ‘bombshell’ isn’t even the most scandalous thing about this episode in media malfeasance.”

The most scandalous thing, Adams, argues, is that several different newsrooms “claimed they independently ‘confirmed’ the original ‘scoop’ with anonymous sources of their own.”

When Trump called the media the "Enemy of the People", he wasn't wrong.

And Insty himself has a question:  "You know who knew this all along? Georgia’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. But he didn’t say anything to refute the story. Why not? Was he the “anonymous source” who led the press astray?"

 Going after Ron DeSantis this time.  Again.

Predictably, this was yet another hit piece designed to dent DeSantis’ political armor, not just in an attempt to once again paint him as the coronavirus villain over governors who actually have done a bad job, like Cuomo, but also because of 2024 considerations. DeSantis has been touted as a possible top presidential contender, and as a result, the media and the left are responding accordingly.

It’s especially remarkable when you think about how they routinely accused Trump and DeSantis last year of being willing to sacrifice seniors in order to reopen the economy. Now, they’ve almost quite literally done a full reversal from their previous “we must protect seniors!” stance. Sadly, for them, it all boils down to politics.

I've been disgusted by the DNC Media for years, but I think over the past five years it morphed from disgust to outright hatred.  These jackals and dimwits who do nothing but work for the DNC could all disappear tonight, and I wouldn't shed a single tear for them.

Breonna Taylor was helping her drug-dealing boyfriend deal drugs out of her apartment

 And her boyfriend was there, and he shot at the cops first after they announced they were there.  It's amazing what you find out when there's actual penalties for lying your ass off.

People looking to blame Taylor's death on anyone but Taylor herself should point to the boyfriend who opened fire on police officers. At that point, officers have every right to defend themselves. 

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.  Help your drug-dealing loser boyfriend run illegal drugs out of your apartment, the cops are going to show up at some point.  When your loser drug-dealing boyfriend opens fire on the cops, the cops have every right to return fire.  

And the city officials who allowed the lies to spread are just as culpable for the violence that's going on right now.

I saw this last night, but I couldn't stop giggling long enough to post it.  Pissy Chrissy Matthews, one of the worst loudmouths on TV, retired on air and walked off the set.

Maybe he was actually told he was going to be let go, maybe after the election. But maybe decided, the hell with that, I'll leave them without a host.

Another suspicion: MSNBC was happy to cover all this up until Matthews started taking on the progressive wing, and then leftwingers and Bernie Bros decided to cut him loose.

If this was another "Me Too" torpedo that circled around and blew up the side that launched it, that would be even better.  Chris Matthews was one of the worst, most partisan pieces of crap on TV.  I hope he spends his last days yelling at clouds and ranting to anyone who is unfortunate enough to be next to him about how that thrill up his leg that Obama gave him turned into the shakes because Orange Man Bad.

Cokehead Biden's interview

I got to listen to a little bit of it yesterday as I was driving home from work.  Look folks, if there is ANYONE out there who thinks that Cokehead Biden just happened to give an interview just to clear up the mess, they're smoking crack.  This was planned and coordinated between the DNC and their media puppets, and Cokehead Biden still couldn't pull it off all the way.  Oh, he gave a good interview for some of it.  But I don't think he managed to change anyone's mind.  This was just another coordinated job that the media did for their DNC masters.

And CNN is the result of sadness copulating with leeches.  I just wanted to throw that out there. 

Also - as Cokehead Biden was listing off all his "accomplishments", there wasn't a single thing on that list that wasn't a direct result of being Creepy Joe Biden's son.  Oh, you were on the board of Amtrak?  Gosh, I wonder how you managed to get on the board of a government-ran transportation system?  Wow, it's a mystery!

Oh, you were a lawyer?  WERE a lawyer Navy, until your positive drug test got you kicked out.

Donald Trump Jr. runs multiple successful businesses, Cokehead Biden ran Amtrak and got kicked out of the Navy.  Compare and contrast.
