A standoff between hundreds of migrants and U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers in riot gear Sunday afternoon blocked the Paso Del Norte international bridge connecting El Paso and the Mexican border city Juárez.
There were also temporary disruptions when groups of migrants showed up at two other border bridges in El Paso, a border protection spokesman said in a statement. Barricades were used at the Stanton Bridge from 2 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. and at the Bridge of the Americas from 2:45 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
At the Paso Del Norte Bridge, officers stood behind concrete and plastic barriers topped with barbed wire blocking the border at the middle of the top of the bridge before what appeared to be hundreds of migrants.
About 1:30 p.m., the border protection agency's Mobile Field Force, a riot control team, was deployed when a large group of migrants threatened to make a mass entry, the agency said. A special response team and U.S. Border Patrol agents assisted border protection officers.

Border Patrol agents along the southwest border with Mexico continue to stop dangerous previously deported criminal aliens from making their way back into the U.S. In the past week alone, Del Rio Sector agents arrested five such criminal aliens with previous convictions for sex crimes.
This is NOT a knock against the Border Patrol. Their jobs have been made impossible by Drooling Joe and his puppet masters. The reality of the situation is that once Drooling Joe the Chinese Hand Puppet threw the borders open for any Juan, Achmed or Joe Chink to walk across, there was no way that the Border Patrol could stop the flow, much less apprehend all the criminals coming over.
We have fentanyl flooding over the border, causing an epidemic of overdosing in the USA. Part of me thinks that could be a self-correcting problem, but it's certainly not a good thing. You can get pretty much anything you want just by shipping it into Mexico and walking it across the border. If a dirty bomb goes off in this country, you can be sure it came across the southern border as well. Jimmy Hobbs, 75, a farmer on the US who’s property is on the US-Mexico border went out to round his property around 8:30 am and what he found horrified him.
While driving around his property he found five small girls abandoned after being discarded by the group they were with that illegally entered the county.

On March 31, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) released video footage of two girls getting thrown over the border wall into New Mexico. According to CBP, they were dropped from the top of the wall by two men, and fell 14 feet to the ground. The girls, from Ecuador, are sisters aged three and five years old.

The video, shot at night in infrared, shows two men bringing the girls to the top of the wall and then dropping them to the hard ground below. The first girl struggles to get up as the second girl falls to the ground next her, appearing to land directly on her tailbone.
The camera then pans to follow the two men as they walk back away from the wall on the Mexico side.
