 I'm fragged out this morning.  I feel like I didn't get any sleep at all.  So here's a link to a column that pretty accurately describes a problem we face today as a country.

No, the fault, to paraphrase Shakespeare, is not in our guns but in ourselves, and specifically in our men. For half a century masculinity has been under concerted attack in this country—fish, bicycle is one of the more benign forms, although still passive-aggressively hateful—until today it has been deemed "toxic" by the harpies of fourth-wave feminism and their very strange bedfellows in the QWERTYUIOP+ brigades. The unsurprising result has been the diminution and removal of genuine masculinity from the public square— even in the military, which now prizes women and trans-wokeness over men—and its replacement with sundry culturally unacceptable substitutes.

In response to my Okie compatriots in the State Legislature and others across the country, I would remind you it wasn’t Vladimir Putin who has been conducting a scorched-earth culture war upon our beliefs, history, and identity, and degraded our social fabric to the point we now have to fight against the normalization of transsexualism. It wasn’t the Russians who outsourced our productive capacity while sending us upon one misbegotten war after another and flooding the country with drugs. It wasn’t ‘Ivan’ who caused the biggest wealth transfer in human history with the Covid scandal, fomented riots across the country, or “fortified” the election. Most of the ills I’ve seen metastasize over the course of my life, with increasing speed over recent years, were not the result of some foreign plot, but were born right here. Rattle your sabers against foreigners on the other side of the planet if it makes you feel better, but don’t confuse that with bravery. It just makes you a mark. If you truly wish to show your quality, summon the courage to attack the very real patronage networks who guide our course. Bring your powers to bear against those who shape the opinions and policies by which we live and die. 

The reason the news is all Ukraine all the time (with a dash of still blaming Trump for something something LOOK OVER THERE IT'S ELVIS!) is because the media is doing its job, which is to make sure that the Democrat Party is protected.  So Ukraine this and Ukraine that, and where's the news on all the businesses destroyed by the lockdowns?  Poof.  Gone.  Where's the news of the opioid epidemic?  Poof.  Gone.  Where's the news of the inflation that's getting worse and is about to clobber us and send our entire economy into a tailspin that it might never recover from?  Poof.  Gone.  Look over there!  Ukraine!

The only thing I know about the war in Ukraine is that almost nobody in the DNC Media propaganda machine is telling us the truth about the war in Ukraine.  Tucker Carlson is one of the few voices who's actually asking real questions, like...  who the hell decided we should fight in Ukraine when we have huge problems here at home?

Also, the same people howling about Ukraine's borders are leaving our borders wide open.  Remember that picture of the lethal dose of fentanyl?   We have backpacks of that crap coming over the border.  The drug cartels are getting MILLIONS of dollars a day through human smuggling.  Do you think the pathetic bastards in D.C. give a shit?

Hannity brought the former Utah Congressman and Best-Selling Author on to talk about January 6th events and who was responsible for the breach. While interviewing Chaffetz, Hannity pressed him on whether he would consider running against Senator Mitt Romney in 2022.

Romney needs to be sent packing, almost as much as McConnell.

 I think we all know which side we're on.

A house divided against itself cannot long stand, but if there is to be a truce it will not come from submission, but from a recognition that all people are created equal, that they all have certain inalienable rights, and that among those are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Those words were worth fighting for once. Are they worth fighting for today?

First, the "whistleblower" on Trump's Ukraine call is a DNC hack.  This is why the National Socialist Democrat Worker's Party was trying to keep him anonymous, because now that people know who he is and what he's done, what's left of his credibility just got shot down the drains.

And in that spirit, here's the second piece:  A transnational elite racing its way towards revolution.  The people who run Washington D.C. don't know you, and they don't want to know you.  They don't like you.  They hate you.  Which is why every major decision they have made pre-Trump destroyed just a little bit more of America.

The Democrat's shock troops are doing what Democrat shock troops do.

While Betts, the Dayton shooter, didn’t leave behind a manifesto, his extensive social-media footprint provides clues as to what may have inspired him. Federal investigators announced Tuesday that they are looking into his exploration of violent ideologies. 

Betts had long expressed support for antifa accounts, causes and individuals. That would be the loose network of militant leftist activists who physically attack anyone to the right of Mao in the name of “anti-fascism.” In particular, Betts promoted extreme hatred of American border enforcement. 

“Kill every fascist,” the shooter declared in 2018 on twitter, echoing a rallying cry of antifa ideologues. Over the next year, his tweets became increasingly violent. “Nazis deserve death and nothing else,” he tweeted last October. Betts frequently flung the label “Nazi” at those with whom he disagreed online.

The difference outside is staggering. We can walk around without a problem. The tension is gone -- I didn't realize how tense we were until the threat was removed. 

We still have some wasps, so we're going to repeat this procedure a second time, and possibly a third if needed.

What to do when the Left uses the truth to lie.

So how does one deal with that debate, where links to CNN are lobbed out like candy on Halloween? The short answer may be to do as they do when they dismiss Fox News. Your source is extremely Leftist, go away. This, however, contains a weakness. The spin, the rot, has infected academia as well. So many of the academic sources for information are similarly contaminated, though again they may be perfectly true in the sense I’ve described above. The real answer, though anything but short and simple, may be to go find the information out for ourselves; to document it and record it ourselves. 

In other words, we may have to give up the expedient of looking into the palantir, and just find the answers on our own, the hard way.

I recall Bill Whittle using the Fat Fuck from Flint as an analogy.  Take a bucket of sand from Malibu.  Remove all the black grains of sand, set them aside, and then repeat.  Get enough black grains of sand to fill a bucket, and then around with your black sand and declare that this is the sand of Malibu Beach.

Is it the truth?  Yes.  But is it also a lie?  Yes.  Because the sand of Malibu is almost white in color.  You have to work a long time to pull out just the black grains of sand.  But that's what the Left does.  They spend hours and hours pulling out just the black grains of sand, and should you hold up a bucket of sand from Malibu and say "But, this is what Malibu beaches actually look like" they attack you for daring to call them liars.

Some of the left is stupid.  And the rest of the Left is evil.

Why the world needs Citizen-Warriors.

The world needs citizen warriors. 

I’m talking about the average, ordinary, everyday folks you see on your way to work, at the grocery store, or wherever they might be, but who are more than capable of taking bad people down a peg or two. 

We need more folks like that. Desperately.

Yes.  Yes we do.  And why is that?  Because if we had more citizen warriors, if we had more people who actually understood violence, the causes of it, the repercussions of it, we might be able to head off Civil War v.2.

So what gives? Why hasn’t it started yet? I was discussing this with a personal friend yesterday, a veteran, MMA fighter, and all-around guy you don’t want to fuck with. He is the sort of man that, were the war to start tomorrow, would be on the front lines. He expressed to me his fear, not for himself, but for his wife, his children, and the end of a relatively prosperous life. For even if he survived the conflict, he mused, life would never be the same. 

Veterans are largely Rightists, and Leftists are largely pussies who have spent their lives avoiding any kind of real physical risk. So the Right has a much better sense for what a war within our borders would really look like. The Left, as Francis notes in the following quote, has no idea because they have not suffered consequences for this behavior up until now.

The Left wants Civil War because they have no idea what actual war is.  The Right does NOT want Civil War because we have an actual idea of what war is, and what comes afterwards.  But as Thales points out:

However, at some point Leftist derangement will exceed the Rightist’s reluctance to resort to violence. And when that Rubicon is crossed, there is no going back. Leftists are quicker to violence, but Rightists are far better at it. The consequences of this will be grave.

And it stems from the Left's inability to argue rationally.  Their emotionally-driven rhetoric cannot and will not allow them to process facts logically.  Therefore, everything becomes an emotional assault by bad people.

 The key to the thing, once again, is in the Left’s characterization of normal Americans as either stupid or evil.As time has passed, their preference has been revealed: to gain the ends they seek, they need to see us as evil. They mean well; we don’t. That’s where their “analysis” ends. 

     There’s no reasoning with one who considers you evil. There’s certainly no compromising with him. He’s out to destroy you. He’ll take whatever opportunity you offer to slip the dirk between your fourth and fifth ribs and twist it. Nor is there any way for you to convince him that you’re not evil. He assumes a priori that everything you say is ultimately aimed at his destruction. 

     At that point it becomes war to the knife. 

     We haven’t yet seen violence with actual casualties. But we will.

Buy more ammo.  Go to the range.  What is coming will not be pleasant, and I don't think it can be avoided.

Or not.  I have said it before, and some people at work actually rocked back and thought about it when I challenged them with this:  I will accept the prognostications of a "trade war" when they can explain to me why our tariffs are bad, but all the existing tariffs of our trading partners are good.  80% tariff on our steel in Germany, but we don't have that against theirs?  270% tariffs on our dairy products in Canada?  That's "free trade"?  No, that's free-loading trade.

Anyways, those days are on hold for at least a little bit.

They are seeking to ensure their own gravy train doesn't get derailed. This is why they tell you, in between informing you how stupid you are, that there are only a few tariffs out there and they don't matter. Well, they sure as heck don't matter to these think tank jockeys and media scribblers. They are not the guys getting up at 4 a.m. to milk the cows or to harvest the soybeans the tariffs target. They've never worked on a vehicle assembly line in their lives, so what’s it matter to them if Germany’s tariff on US cars is four times ours to theirs? Of course, the tariffs on US products don't matter to the elite. They aren’t the guys who lose their jobs when their company picks up and moves to Vietnam.

I agree with Kurt. Don't go to college

At least, not until you've gotten a couple years of actual life under your belt, and you can't be easily indoctrinated by the Marxist parasites.

Contemporary college is a scam, and if you fork over your money blindly you’re the mark. A quarter million and what do you get? A piece of paper that memorializes your indoctrination plus cirrhosis of the liver.

Hillsdale College excepted, of course. And I wish I could except the service academies too, but when West Point is knowingly commissioning open commies it’s clear that it’s chosen not to meaningfully differentiate itself from the civilian four year resorts. Well, that’s not quite right. At least after you graduate from one of the academies you will get a job – hell, it doesn’t seem the Army can even summon up the cojones to can Comrade Lieutenant yet. But you can’t say that for the rest of academia. Here’s your Feminist Theater Theory degree; welcome to funemployment! I guess being a barista with a $150K student loan debt is a kind of a career. 

Yes, I know there are jobs out there that require a degree.  But there's nothing that says you have to jump straight from high school into a Marxist Indoctrination Center to have your soul sucked out of your body before it's had a chance to grow.

And I put the word "Jew" in parentheses, because they may have been Jewish ethnically, but they didn't follow a single bit of Jewish doctrine.  And when I asked them what temple they attended, they blew a gasket because they didn't actually have an answer.

So it makes me happy to read an article like this:  Hey, Chuck, What the hell does McDonalds put in its cheeseburgers?

Chuck Schumer is a Jew like Nancy Pelosi is a Catholic.  It's a mask to be used in order to gain votes and deflect criticism, but they don't actually follow their faith.  That's just for the rubes, don't you know.

Today is National Ammo Day

And, if I recall correctly, it's also Kim's birthday.  And he wants you to buy ammo for yourself, for his birthday.  Swell guy, ain't he?

So.  Go buy ammo.  I might buy some other shooting oriented gear, because I already have a crate and a box full of ammo that I have to move myself, and I don't need to add any weight to that already-full load.

Maybe a nice set of targets.  Or the kind that you stick a clay pigeon in, and when you shoot it from far away it goes 'POOF".  I don't have any of those targets.  Yet.
