I've heard multiple times on the radio that this is not out of the norm, that the FBI and NSA are just collecting data but they need a warrant to search it, and that "safeguards" are in place.
And had this happened in a government of the people and for the people, I wouldn't be worried. But given that Obama the Nazi is willing to use the power of the government against his political enemies?
Fuck. That. Shit.
The government cannot be trusted with large amounts of data on it's citizens, as it has proven time and time again that it will use it to attack those citizens.

Just look at Germany in 1939. That is where we are now.
The only thing is we have a citizen army and a pretty well armed populace.
If every Jew in Germanany in 1939 had a rifle, 20 cartridges for it and the will to use them, Hitler would have been a minor footnote in the history of the Weimar Republic.
We need to keep that in mind. Most of us have at least one firearm and several hundred cartridges. All we need is the will.
