America has a Democrat problem.

 I know I posted about this some years ago.  5% of all the counties in America made up 95% of all the crime, and of course, those counties are Democrat controlled, Democrat run and Democrat populated.

So I saw this and went "Well, yeah!"

Oklahoma County and Tulsa are two of the 62 counties that were responsible for 56% of America’s murders in 2020. A groundbreaking study by John R. Lott of the Crime Prevention Research Center, revealed that “1% of counties have 21% of the population and 42% of the murders” and  “2% of counties contain 31% of the population and 56% of the murders.”

The 1% of bloody red counties include such Democrat strongholds as Philadelphia, New York City, Los Angeles, Baltimore, Dallas, D.C., Miami-Dade, Milwaukee, San Diego, St. Louis, Chicago’s Cook County, L Houston’s Harris County, Detroit’s Wayne County, Memphis’ Shelby County, Pheonix’s Maricopa County, Cleveland’s Cuyahoga County, and many others.

I have to admit, these days when I hear about the murder rate in some city or yet another shooting in a Democrat controlled shithole, I just can't muster up any kind of real outrage.  These people have rejected everything that would make a city livable.  Hell, most of them have rejected God in every kind of meaningful sense, and thus rejected all of the various Christian values that help keep society operating in close contact with each other.

Chicongo might have pulled their head out of their ass long enough to take a breath, based on the fact that they got rid of the bastard son of Groot and Beetlejuice.  But since it's Chicongo, I don't really expect anything to change, and the city will continue to sink into a morass of stupidity, crime and violence.

And should I raise my voice to say that maybe people should turn back to God and stop acting like animals, I'm called a racist.  It's happened plenty of times in the past.  I expect it to continue in the future, because when faced with the reality that these people have created for themselves they don't have any arguments for their life or their behavior.  Therefor the people who point out the problems must be insulted, shouted down and belittled.

I recall a passage in the bible where Jesus instructs his apostles that when they come to a place where people refuse to listen, they should shake the dust of the town off of their sandals and continue on.  That's kind of how I see the cities right now.  My main goal is to prevent the sickness from spreading to where I am.  Secondary is helping them see the problems they've created for themselves.

We'll see how many of them are left after a few years, thanks to the clot shot that they all willingly lined up to take.

It’s very clear that these voters have voted for the rule requiring they be passive observers to crime, so when the witnesses shrug as thuggo goes to town, we need to understand that the city dwellers’ situation is their own doing. You can’t get a gun permit in SF or NY, yet someone expects you to take on a criminal who is not going to observe those legal niceties? How could you expect that? If you want to build a house, you don’t ban tools. If you ban tools, it’s reasonable to assume you don’t want any construction.

As every state in close proximity to Kalifornia can attest, Scat Fransicko doesn't stay in the Bay Area.  It relocates once the cesspool it has created becomes to toxic, and spreads the toxins to neighboring areas.  Downtown SLC isn't covered in trans/gay/schitzo flags because the local LDS folks decided it was a great thing to do.  Colorado didn't turn into a socialist weed-smoker's paradise because the locals really wanted ganja and oppressive government.  Seattle and Portland, well, a lot of that is homegrown there but a lot was imported from other areas.  And the people around cities like Portland still can't learn from their own mistakes.

Mayor and Police Commissioner Ted Wheeler, who defunded police upon real threats by Antifa and BLM rioters, just announced that, gee, we need more cops. He’s throwing money at retired cops to come back and also planning to spend more money to reimagine policing. Yet, another money-sucking grift as well as a paean to Antifa and BLM that will solve nothing.

"Reimagine Policing"?  Yeah, you're going to need to do that since the cops are leaving in droves, and yet the people of Portland keep voting for Marxist idiots who continue to plow the city into the ground.

And then they move to where you are.  So let the shitholes be shitholes but how can you keep the shithole people there?  That's the question I want answered.

Because Democrat-run cities are increasingly violent, and thanks to Democrats the past year, have less and less police to protect the law-abiding citizens, while the thugs and criminals that Democrats love get to do what they want.

Minneapolis is burning again

 I say let it burn.  Those areas don't have what it takes to enforce the law.  They don't have the will, they don't have the political fortitude, they don't have the mental ability to stop people from rioting and burning and looting.  So let it burn, baby.  Not one single fucking cent to Minneapolis.  Burn it to the ground, and then laugh at the people who remain.

Is that cruel?  Fuck yes it's cruel.

"But Dave, the majority of the people there aren't rioters!  They don't deserve that!"

True.  But the vast majority of the people there voted for the radical Leftists who run Minneapolis and its suburbs.  They voted for the limp noodle of a mayor, and the Marxist governor.  There's not one single Republican on the city council.  The mayor of Brooklyn Center, where the current crop of "mostly peaceful" riots and looting is going on, just fired the city manager for saying that the cop should get due process.  The guy didn't say the cop was guilty or innocent.  He said the cop should get due process, and for that heinous crime the mayor fired his ass.

Let it burn.  Let it all burn, and then mock the idiots who burned their town down around their ears while they sit in embers and ashes.  Maybe, just maybe, if it's painful enough, people will learn that you don't allow rioters to control everything and everyone.  

Fuck the fucking fuckers.  If I were a home owner anywhere near the toxic shithole of Minneapolis, I'd be spending time on my roof with a scoped rifle, just waiting for the targets rioters to come to me.

Our training up to know has been CCW as related to violent crime inflicted upon us or our loved ones.  We never trained for organized mobs with legal  (upfront or tacit) government support.

Antifa and the violent leftist mobs have government support from the Democrat Party.  Any Democrat-controlled area allows Antifa and the violent leftist mobs to operate unimpeded.  Any action against Antifa and the violent Leftist mobs will be punished by Democrats.  

There's no way this somehow just ends after the election.

I am not a tactical trainer so my advice counts for crap, but the only solution I see is to accept you will be screwed by the “Law” in some jurisdictions, have a long gun as minimum and a bunch of loaded magazines or easy to reach buck and slugs.  Use cover and engage from a distance.

If you're surrounded by the mob, you're already fucked.  Avoid Democrat cities whenever possible.  If you find yourself in Democrat-controlled territory, get out as soon as possible.  If you can't get out, make plans to protect what area you can.

We're already in a civil war.  Read that quote from J.R.R. Tolkien that I have at the top of the sidebar:  It needs but one foe to breed a war, not two, Master Warden, and those who have not swords can still die upon them. 

No, I don't have a solution.  I have a feeling that most people don't have a solution to this, short of surrounding Portland and burning it to the ground as a warning to the other Antifa groups.

The man who appears to have admitted to shooting and killing a supporter of Donald Trump in Portland on Saturday was killed Thursday night as U.S. Marshals moved in to arrest him.

I think the people in charge knew exactly what was going to happen if they let this admitted murderer walk free after killing a man in cold blood.  The next protest would be a bloodbath.  Especially after they arrested a kid for defending himself from a pedo that abused five kids aged 9-11.

There comes a point where reasonable people decide that if they government won't do it's job, then it's time for the people to take back that right of violence.

Why Trump should NOT send in the troops

Well, the guy is a Colonel, so he knows what he's talking about.

But what folks do not understand are the practical problems with Trump using troops (sending federal law enforcement officers presents similar problems, but also a unique and big one – there just aren’t as many federal cops as there are soldiers). The devil is in the details, and the devil here makes Trump pulling the trigger on the troops in the current situation a very bad idea. We should support his strategic patience and not do what the Democrats want by getting mad at the president for refusing to stumble into an ambush.

Every point he makes there is true.  But there's more.  Portland isn't worth one single Soldier's life.  Portland isn't worth sending one single Soldier to jail, and you know damn well and good that it would happen if a Soldier had to protect himself with lethal force that the Portland Star Chamber would lock them up even as they let the Marxist shitbags walk free.

Is Chicago worth one Solder's life?  No.  So why would we send Soldiers in to a situation where their lives are in danger, and they're not allowed to defend themselves?

Seattle?  Ditto.

None of these cities are worth the risk to Soldiers' lives.  Let them burn.

Kenosha?  That might be a good risk/reward trade off.  But not Milwaukee. 

So DON'T send in the troops.  It's just not worth it.

So in military parlance, it's Red on Red.  Leave it alone and just let it happen.

A funeral for a shooting victim killed last week on the streets of Chicago had dozens of mourners paying their last respects to the deceased. 

As the crowd was leaving the funeral home, a car sped by pouring automatic weapons fire into the mourners. Some of them returned fire. When the smoke cleared, at least 15 people lay on the ground calling for help.

Ladies and gents, this is what they have voted for.  This is what they want.  This is how they have chosen to live, and this is what is going to happen in Democrat controlled cities all over the country.

And there's really not a damn thing that you or I can do about it.

Violent, homicidal Leftists are now attacking Trump supporters with a cane sword.

Victims reportedly told police that Whitehurst had approached them during their peaceful assembly with what was described as a cane sword. The assailant allegedly pointed the sword in their faces and made threatening statements, holding the blade 6 inches from their faces.

There are two outcomes if I'm in that crowd.  One, the good outcome, is that the cops show up to find me holding a gun on this fucking fascist turd while he's face-down in the grass waiting to be arrested.

Two, the bad option, is that I ventilate his ass for attacking me with a deadly weapon, and the cops show up to do the report.

There is no option where he attacks me with a sword and walks away.

We've moved on from "Democrats hate you and want you to die", we're now at "Democrats hate you and they want to kill you themselves".  Prepare accordingly.

There's a part of my job that requires I schedule training events

For anywhere from 50-100 people, depending on the units involved.  So not huge, not thousand-person events, but let's take a gander at some numbers, shall we?

Let's say I wanted to put on a training event in Portland, OR.  Just a hypothetical situation.

Training events for the USAR are mostly held in the summer time.  It's when kids are out of school, obligations are lower, so you can actually get Soldiers to an event.  Summertime per diem for Portland is $192 for lodging, $61 for meals, and $5 for incidentals.  That's per day.  So that's $258 per day, per person.

Going with my last training event that I held, we can assume 60-70 attendees.  Again, this is a rough number, but it gives you an idea.  So that's $15,480 - $18,060 being spent just on lodging and food.  And that's just for the attendees, not the staff, instructors, and various other costs.  And that's PER DAY.  Most of my training events are four days.  So the total amount of money being spent is $61,920 to $72,240.

That's a lot of money.  And again, that's not travel costs, or car rentals, or any other costs.  That's just one factor that I have to figure out when I'm holding an event.

But rest assured, there is not a single reason in the world why I would ever hold a training event in a shithole like Portland.  Portland used to be beautiful.  It is now a stinking, feces-ridden shithole populated by garbage people, run by garbage people, and controlled by fascist garbage.  I won't ever hold a training event in that shithole garbage city, because I'm not going to risk my people being assaulted by the screaming mobs that control the place.

You couldn't pay me to visit Portland.  Why the hell would I want to spend money there?
