Apparently, beer money guy, Carson King, had some tweets from seven years ago that were inappropriate.  Shit happens.  But the DM Register dug them up and were about to expose them to the world, which caused the companies who had suddenly partnered with Carson King (to raise more money for charity) to drop those partnerships.

And then the internet got involved.....

And that would have been the end of it right there – another feel-good internet story ruined by social media history.  But Aaron Calvin forgot one very important part of Twitter: the “routine social media checks” go both ways.

I know that people are blaming the internet for the death of newspapers.  But if the media was more than just the Democrat Party propaganda mill, maybe more people would buy newspapers?    The Des Moines Register is a flaming dumpster fire in the middle of a cess pool from a toxic waste dump, and their decision to attack a guy based on tweets from when he was sixteen has pissed off a whole lot of people, considering that the guy was donating all the money he got to a children's hospital.

You praise that, because you want to see more of that.  You highlight the good, because you want to encourage people to be good.  You do not dig through the past to bring up some unrelated garbage in an effort to cash in on "cancel culture" and revel in filth and degeneracy.

So, Aaron P. Calvin, you feckless cunt, I hope you get fired, because thanks to your bullshit, a lot more money that could have been raised for children with cancer will not be raised.  I hope that Aaron P. Calvin has to spend the rest of his life cleaning out pig stys in the Iowa farmland just to make ends meet.  Because the shit he'll be shoveling out of those pig stys will still be better smelling and contain more substance than the shit he's shoveling at the Des Moines Register.

This is a damning page one admission by the Times. Despite the connect-the-dots graphic in its other story, and despite the astonishing, emotion-laden editorial the paper also ran suggesting “We don’t need to read the Mueller report” because we know Trump is guilty, Baker at least began the work of preparing Times readers for a hard question: “Have journalists connected too many dots that do not really add up?” 

The paper was signaling it understood there would now be questions about whether or not news outlets like themselves made a galactic error by betting heavily on a new, politicized approach, trying to be true to “history’s judgment” on top of the hard-enough job of just being true. Worse, in a brutal irony everyone should have seen coming, the press has now handed Trump the mother of campaign issues heading into 2020.

What really needs to be understood is that the Left didn't actually think that Trump colluded with Russia.  They simply wanted to attack Trump and hope that the very accusations of collusion would be enough to remove him from office.  They hoped that the accusation after accusation, parroted by the Democrat Media Complex, would be enough to force the population of America to demand that Trump resign.  Because let's face it - had Trump been a typical GOP cuck, he would have stepped down and apologized profusely for non existent crimes rather than fight back.

But Trump isn't some spineless GOP flunky.

And so the Democrats plowed on pushing a bullshit narrative, that everybody knew was bullshit.

Nothing Trump is accused of from now on by the press will be believed by huge chunks of the population, a group that (perhaps thanks to this story) is now larger than his original base. As Baker notes, a full 50.3% of respondents in a poll conducted this month said they agree with Trump the Mueller probe is a “witch hunt.”

Look for the Democrats to now pivot to attacking any criminal act as small as a parking ticket associated with anyone that might have possibly be in Trump's circle.  This is standard National Socialist Democrat Worker's Party tactics.  Ignore the truth, and keep attacking.  The Walking, Talking Sack of Shit Jerrold Nadler has already signaled that he's going to destroy anyone associated with Trump on any trumped up charges he can manufacture.  It doesn't matter what the truth is, the only think that Slimy Anal Wart Jerrold Nadler cares about is removing Trump from office.

Now, I'm going going to boycott Nike over this.  In order to boycott them, I would have to first purchase their products, and I don't buy Nike crap.  It's cheap, over-priced, Chinese-made junk, all of it, and I haven't worn a pair of Nike shoes since 1994.  Then they stopped making the line I was wearing (Air Pegasus) and I moved on to other running shoes.  Once I found serious running shoes like New Balance and Saucony, I never gave Nike or any of the other big brands another thought.  If you walk into a store dedicated to running, you won't find Nike.  You won't find Addidas or any of the other fancy, slick marketing garbage that you see in Big 5 or Dicks.  That's because they suck.

Right now I'm running in Altra.  Previously I've used Merril, Vibram Five Fingers, and of course the previously mentioned New Balance and Saucony.  Once I found real running shoes, I have never put another Nike on my feet.

Their clothing is also over-priced, but not as crappy as their shoes.

Anyway, I said all that just to say that I can't boycott anything that I'm not buying to begin with.  So Nike can go ahead and tie Kaepernick's anchor to their sales and toss it overboard.  Pathetic bastards.  I guess all the pot smoke in Oregon finally got to their board members and made them think this was a good idea.

I mentioned the other day how Tor employee and the EIC’s wife Teresa Neilsen Hayden started harassing me on Twitter by making a passive aggressive snide remark on my character and telling her following I’m not really a #1 Amazon Bestseller (I am). I naturally sent her a screen shot back to prove the fact, but it didn’t matter. This was the first time she had interacted with me ever, and it was an attack from her position at Tor with the obvious attempt of trolling an independent author:

Kino Jimenez was located in Universal City, Texas. Universal City police officers took Mr Jimenez into custody without incident.

Filthy, stinking hippies of the 60's and 70's could be transported to the current day, and other than bell bottoms, you couldn't tell them apart from the stupid, dirty, filthy hippies of today.  As proof, I give you exhibit A, who spent a nice afternoon at the ballpark, shouting obscenities in front of small children.

Ben Faulding of North Baldwin, NY, looks like he was transported from forty years in the past, complete with unkempt hair, scraggly untrimmed beard, and mental illnesses that cause him to hurl expletives in front of small kids at what is supposed to be a nice evening out.

The baseball game that McInnes and Faulding were at was between the Brooklyn Cyclones and the Boston Lowell Spinners. Both of these teams are affiliates of their Major League equivalents, and their games are generally intended for a younger audiences. Children run the bases after the game and the Brooklyn Cyclones were even sponsored by the toddler cartoon Paw Patrol. 

Despite the young audience, Faulding couldn’t help himself and felt it appropriate to scream obscenities in front of seas of children.

I wanted to check out this hippy douchebag's twitter account, but apparently after bragging about hurling foul language in front of children on twitter, he's deleted his account.  His stupidity became painful.  He might actually learn something.

Buried within a newly declassified congressional report on Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. elections is a shocking revelation: former Director of National Intelligence (DNI) James Clapper not only leaked information about the infamous Steele dossier and high-level government briefings about it to CNN, he also may have lied to Congress about the matter. 

In one of the findings within the 253-page report, the House intelligence committee wrote that Clapper leaked details of a dossier briefing given to then-President-elect Donald Trump to CNN’s Jake Tapper, lied to Congress about the leak, and was rewarded with a CNN contract a few months later.

Read it all.  These people demand respect for their positions, when they've done nothing but bring disrespect to their entire organizations.  James Clapper is a partisan hack who lied under oath for the Democrat Party.
