Every day is another reason to not trust the government.

Forget jail.  People need to be tarred and feathered, instead of still working for the FBI after they willfully forged a document in an attempt to send an innocent man to jail.

So that's a big problem. If Carter Page is a CIA/NIS asset, then they can't use his contact with Russians as evidence for a FISA warrant against him. 

So what's the DOJ/FBI response? 

Well, a lawyer there -- Kevin Clinesmith -- deliberately changes the response of the organization from "Carter Page is a source" to "Carter Page is not a source," and sends this forged, fraudulent evidence along to the court as part of the FISA application. 

This is CRIMINAL. They were specifically told by the agency involved that Page was a source and therefore had a very good and legal reason to have contact with Russians, but this guy forged the email, altering it to say he was not a source and so reported to the court that Page had no good reason to talk to Russians. 

And here's the kicker: 

He still works for the FBI! 

Because of course he does. 

Because Christopher "Straight-Shooter" Wray.

So a guy who broke the law in an attempt to block the election of someone he didn't like is still working for the Federal Government.

You want to know how a whole lot of middle-class folks fighting to keep their jobs in this country feel about that?  Well, how's about the phrase "President Donald Trump"?  Trump got elected precisely because there are too many corrupt, anti-American assholes like this Kevin Clinesmith who shit all over this country and still get a paycheck from tax dollars.  We elected Trump to kick shitstains like Kevin Clinesmith out the door.  And that's why he'll get re-elected in 2020.  Because the anti-American shitstains are still there, still destroying this country, and being protected by Deep State Swamp Dwellers like IG Horowitz.  The fact that Horowitz can sit there and make the claim that only errors and mis-statements were made is a pathetic joke in and of itself, when every single one of us with a real job knows that if we had made those errors and mis-statements we'd be in jail.  Not maybe in jail  Jail-jail.  Breaking big rocks into little rocks for the rest of our lives, while shitty little ass-nuggets like Kevin Clinesmith sip wine in Washington D.C. and laugh about how they blatantly lied to a FISA court and are still enjoying the good life.

Only someone completely ignorant of life would call those errors or mis-statements instead of the blatant violations of the law that anyone with half a brain can see.  Since IG Horowitz is presumably not ignorant about life, I have to presume that he's just as corrupt as that shitty little fuckstain Kevin Clinesmith, who needs to spend the rest of his life getting ass-raped in a jail cell by Bubba until he can shit a bowling ball without even grunting.

How is it that the Saudi terrorist attacker at the Pensacola Naval Air Station was shot dead by local Pensacola sheriff’s deputies, while not a single sailor – officer or enlisted – had any firearm to defend himself? Well, much as President Trump promised to shut down visas from countries like Saudi Arabia, he also promised to end the gun-free zone status for our soldiers on bases. The time has come for him to fulfill both promises.

One key lesson for a leader to learn is this:  You never give an order that you know will not be followed.  This is part of why allowing women in the military was such a bad idea.  You put men and women together in stressful situations, and then say "Now don't have sex, you young, fit, highly trained young adults!"

You think that order will be followed?  When I was a single troop back in the 90's, I got more action from the military than I ever got from civilians.  I have stories that even a pr0n producer would read and say "Nah, can't happen."  I know what happens when you mix men and women in the barracks, folks.

The current order that boggles the mind?  "Don't carry any kind of firearm to protect yourself, even if you're a concealed carry permit holder and can protect yourself anywhere outside a military base."

I'm pals with one of the people tasked with securing my tiny little post.  His new CG came in and wanted to do a weapons check on everyone coming on to the base.  "I want to see if anyone has weapons!" was his cry.  My pal looked him in the eye and said "If you do this, 50% of the people won't show up for work, and you will find weapons on just about everybody else."

The brass has given an order that will not be followed.  Period.  It boggles the mind that the military headshed thinks that people who are highly trained on firearms will just shrug their shoulders and say "Oh, gosh, I can't carry a gun now!  Oh well!"

Part of why the Ragin' Mrs. and I refuse to live on a military post is that we would have to register every single firearm we have.  We looked at that regulation, and we simply said "Nope.  Not happening."

If I have to be in public, I'm carrying.  That's why I have the carry permit.  It's that simple.  "Oh, but Dave, nothing is going to happen!  Why are you so paranoid?"  For the same reason I keep a fire extinguisher in my kitchen - because if you need it and you don't have it, your world burns down.  As our military brothers and sisters are finding out on a regular basis.

The FBI spied on Americans, Obama knew it, and the government did nothing

It wasn't just the FBI investigation he knew about - it was also the 'unmaskings' that followed from the FBI bid to pin something on Trump - the timelines show that around the time of that Coomey briefing, the "unmaskings" of Americans caught up in intelligence dragnets, looking to see if any of them were Trump officials, were stepped up, ending only when Obama administration officials packed up and left the White House. 

It's apparently a whole slew of things he did to spy on and undercut his rivals. Had he used that formidable energy on America's actual enemies, he might not have been such a failure as president. For now, Obama stands exposed.

The anti-American pieces of shit who did this are still mostly employed, except for the few who have retired and taken a nice fat pension for the acts of destroying what used to be a government that actually respected it's citizens.

There is not one part of the government that can be trusted.  Not.  A.  Single.  One.

And the corrupt oligarchy, the bi-factional ruling party, has never forgiven the voters for what they did.

No, it is the American people whom the Democrats wish to punish. They are impeaching our decisions and our passions. They are telling us that our votes are mistakes that need to be corrected. The better alternative to this whole charade is to let the American people decide if Trump is worthy of another term in less than 12 months. To carry on with this impeachment circus is to send a direct message – we don’t trust you to do it right.

To quote Kurt Schlichter - Democrats hate you and want you to die.  Why do you think they're so desperate to take away your guns?  Because they plan on doing things that will get them shot if you still retain the means to defend yourself.

The American St. Nicholas

The Victory Girls have a blog post up about the modern origin of St. Nick in Germany.

In 1944, the 28th Infantry Division, 112th Regiment of the Pennsylvania National Guard had taken casualties and were exhausted from the Battle of Huertgen Forest on the Western Front in Germany. The GIs were sent to Wiltz, Luxembourg for rest and recuperation. There the story of the American Saint Nicholas played out.

Go read it all.  What caught my eye is the unit.  My Great-Uncle, whom I just recently learned about this year, was assigned to the 28th Infantry Division, 112th Infantry Regiment.  He died a little less than two months prior to the unit being sent to Luxembourg.

They were suffering the privations of war, missing the comforts of home, and in foreign countries. Their loneliness and fear had to be overwhelming. Yet, the GI’s of the 112th Regiment, PNG gave what they had to let children have a Christmas for the first time in years. 

The story of the GIs and the American Saint Nicholas is a story that every one of us should know and treasure.

This is what American troops do.  This is who we truly are.

Trump isn't the problem.  The highly credentialed throne-sniffers who infest our government are the problem.

Very important people with very important advanced degrees from very important universities must be involved at every step. Coaxing American allies to stop welching on their debt requires many white papers and think tank conferences and pricey parties at well-appointed embassies.

Before the president speaks with another head of state, polite talking points must be drafted and edited and redrafted and approved by dozens of people with lengthy titles who occupy offices situated along the Potomac River decorated with many impressive diplomas and commendations.

All of that at the cost of MILLIONS upon MILLIONS of dollars, by the way.  These oh-so-dedicated public "servants" aren't serving for FREE, of course.

And therein lies part of the problem.  There's a pattern here - get a degree, use your connections to secure a fat paycheck at Foggy Bottom, and then go around like you're the real President of the United States.  The State Department has been a seething next of Marxist vipers for as long as I can remember.  Quite frankly, I'm not crying a single tear if the all get shitcanned.  Again, what have they ever gotten right?  What success can they highlight in order to justify their six figure salaries at our expense?

Not a one.

The media is not your friend, and they don't care about freedom

Not one single media outlet has issued any kind of report on Adam Schiff's spying on a journalist.

When Obama was wiretapping reporters, and throwing reporters in jail for refusing to give up their sources, there was perhaps a slight downtick in the worshipping of Obama by the Main Stream Media.  Perhaps they pulled their lips back from his crotch to murmur a slight disapproving tone, before immediately going back to fellating him over and over and over.

The media doesn't care one bit about freedoms, be they 1st Amendment or any other.  The media in America is a wholly owned subsidiary of the DNC, and as such their primary focus is not to actually report the news but to prevent actual news from leaking out before it can hurt Democrats.  Their secondary function is to propagate any accusations that could benefit the Democrats, no matter how wild and untrue.  Such as the Steele Dossier. 

You get more accurate reporting on US politics from overseas newspapers than you could ever find in the New York Slimes or the Washington Compost.  A pox on them all.

Well, if the Democrats were hoping to get a boost in their eternal quest for impeachment, I doubt they got it.  Unless there's a substantial portion of the country who enjoys being hectored and shouted at by a angry moonbat hag college professor.

And Trump should be paying CNN and PMSNBC to keep Jerry Nadler the Hutt's face on TV 24/7.  Nadler the Hutt has all the charisma of an intestinal parasite.  The more his face is on TV, the more his voice drones on and on, the more President Trump wins.  Bigly!

Pete Buttplug promised a woman that if he becomes president, all illegal aliens will get free health care.  Crap like this is why the Second Civil War is going to happen.  Because we have politicians who think it's OK to ignore the rule of law, ignore our borders, bring millions of illegal aliens across to vote Democrat, and then use money taken from law abiding citizens to pay for it all.  And the law abiding citizens have had enough of that bullshit.

Have our "experts" ever been right on anything?

As the article says, Iran is in flames and the "experts" can't figure out why due to their Trump hatred.

Read it all.  Also, see how many people use the exact phrase "rally-round-the-flag effect".  It's almost like their quoting each other, and the quote comes straight from the DNC talking points.

Back to the original question.  Have the "experts" of my generation ever been right?  Where's the defining Win for these experts?  The didn't see the fall of the Berlin Wall.  They didn't see the fall of the USSR, and in fact, the "experts" were proclaiming that the USSR would live forever, and we just have to live with that fact, and Ronny Ray-Gun was an idiot for calling them evil and telling them to tear down that wall.

Are these the same experts who, in 2010, said the Arctic would be ice free in ten years?  Oopsie.

Are these the same experts who told us that snowfalls were a thing of the past, only to see record level of snow and ice in the USA?  Oopsie.

Are these the same experts who got us involved in backing competing jihadist groups in Syria, at the same time?  Oopsie.

Are these the same experts who assured us that Trump tweeting at Kim the Fatter would immedeatly start a war?  Oopsie.

Are these the same experts who said that the stock market would never recover from Trump's election?  Oopsie.

Are these the same experts who cried about Trump slightly delaying aid to Ukraine but didn't say a single peep as Obama let Putin annex the Crimea?  Hmmmmm....

What have they been right about in my lifetime?  Name one thing.  Just one.

Kamala Harris dropped out of the presidential race.  Say what you want about Harris, but there was no Democrat better at sleeping their way to the top.  But I guess once you've burned through all the people who can elevate you in San FranSicko, and you're trying to convince a country of people to elect you and it's physically impossible to service them all, either with your lips or on your back, then you begin to realize that actually doing something productive is harder than getting Willie Brown to blow his load.  Kamala Harris combined the oldest profession with the second oldest profession, but if she weren't from a shit-filled city occupied by mental lunatics, she's have never even sniffed the US Senate seat she currently is leaving snail trails on.

Is that harsh?  Not as harsh as she deserves. 

Ghosts of Mississippi

So while I was stationed in Mississippi I had a squirrel decide that they liked to nest in my engine compartment.  Happened quick, too.  One day the car drove just fine, the next day that little furry tree rat had chewed up all my wires.

Also liked to sit on the engine and eat acorns, that stew-meat on legs.

So I had cleaned out my engine compartment before I sent the car to the shop to get fixed.  Yesterday, I go to replace my air filter.  Guess what was littering the inside of the air filter box?

Yep.  Acorn shells.  Just one more little "fuck you" from the wildlife of Mississippi.  Luckily, as it was an air filter compartment, none of the shells got sucked into the engine.  I took a vacuum to the whole area, cleaned everything out, and put the new filter in.  Wix makes air filters as well as oil filters, as I found out.  Works really well.

I've been watching the sheer stupidity of the Left over the sham-peachment hearings, and now that pointy-headed lump of shit Nadler the Hutt is going to be on TV.  Honestly, I think if I were in Trump's shoes, I'd keep Shiff-for-Brains and Nadler the Hutt on TV 24/7.  They're both grotesque parodies of what a human should be, which means they're perfect examples of Democrats for Trump to expose to the American TV viewership.  Throw in a video of Nadler the Hutt talking while he's inhaling a meal, and people will be too busy vomiting to want to impeach anyone.

Chick-fil-A, once under fire for donating to "anti-LGBT" Christian organizations, has now taken flack for funding seemingly pro-LGBT charities. In a truly shocking development, the fast-food chain even funded the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), which is notorious for slandering conservative and Christian organizations by calling them "hate groups" on par with the Ku Klux Klan. While conservative Christians have been defending Chick-fil-A from criticism, the fast-food chain donated to one of their worst enemies.

Chick-fil-A has been converged, folks.  That just sucks.

Jorge Bergolio, the anti-Pope, opens his cock-holster once again

Pope Francis trotted out a scene from the 11th-century French epic poem La Chanson de Roland this week to prove Christians have tried to convert Muslims by the sword, just as Muslims have done to Christians. 

“A scene from The Song of Roland comes to me as a symbol, when the Christians defeat the Muslims and line them up in front of the baptismal font, with one holding a sword,” the pope told an Argentinian interreligious dialogue group Monday. 

“And the Muslims had to choose between baptism or the sword. That is what we Christians did,” he declared.

This extremely stupid man used a work of fiction to besmirch Christians.  However, Bergolio appears to have not even read said piece of fiction, because....

“The memory of Pope Francis evoking the victory of the Franks over Muslims is therefore confused, because the expedition was not a victory,” Ganimara observes. 

“The fictitious case of the forced baptism of Muslims supposedly defeated after the capture of Zaragoza — which did not take place — is not historical, but is a pure imagination of the poet,” he adds, noting that contrary to the pope’s account, there is not even a Christian holding a sword in the original work. 

“How then can he affirm that ‘this is what we Christians did’?” he concludes.

Jorge Bergolio, the anti-Pope, is destroying the Church from within.  While I don't have the ability to look inside a man's heart, I can look at their actions, and every action Bergolio takes is an evil one designed to destroy the church.  He protected and elevated sexual predators.  He embraces Islam.  He badmouths Christianity and faithful Catholics at every opportunity.  He brought idolatry into the Vatican (the Pachamama idols, which were worshipped at the Amazon Synod).  So this is just another attack from the anti-Pope.

Jorge Bergolio is not the pope.  Benedict XVI is the true pope, and Jorge Bergolio was installed through error and outright evil.  Pray for Pope Benedict.

Ilhan "Bro-Fo" Omar is a Qatari "asset".

Bender was subpoenaed in a lawsuit against the Qatari emir’s brother, Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad al-Thani, who stands accused of ordering his American bodyguard to murder two people and holding his hired American paramedic prisoner. In his deposition, Bender testifies about his meetings with Al-Masnad and other Qatari officials in which they mentioned the Sheikh Khalid case, and discusses Qatar’s campaign to influence Western politicians. 

In the testimony, Bender claims to have been asked to recruit American politicians and journalists to be Qatari assets. He says he objected and the Qatari officials responded by saying that several American politicians and journalists were already on the payroll—most prominently Omar, who was allegedly described as the “jewel of the crown”, according to the deposition.

Omar is not American, and she will never be American, because she is incapable of understanding what America is.  To her, America is one big welfare check for here and the rest of her criminal family.  Therefore, she has no loyalty to America, because how can you be loyal to a welfare check?

Bender’s accusations go much further. According to his testimony, Al-Masnad said that Qatar “recruited Ilhan Omar from even way before she thought about becoming a government official.… They groomed her and arranged the foundation, the grounds, for her to get into politics way before she even showed interest. They convinced her.” For her part, Omar cooperated with the Qataris and received cash payments, he alleges in the deposition. 

American and Turkish media previously reported that Omar met Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, a key supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood, when she was a junior state representative in Minnesota in 2017. According to Bender, Omar met Erdogan and allegedly swore allegiance to him. 

Bender claims that once Omar took office, she used her position in the House of Representatives to access sensitive information which she relayed to Qatar, and through them to Iran.

Sadly, we know that Ilhan Omar will never face one question about her crimes from the DNC Media Complex, and she won't see a lick of jail time for her treason, because treason and Democrats go hand in hand, and they protect each other.  Just look at Hillary Clinton.

I don't know if it was stupidity, ego, or arrogance that caused Spencer and other people to continue attempting to punish a warfighter that President Trump had taken a personal interest in protecting, but it cost one person his job, and it should cost others their jobs as well.

The commander-in-chief made clear his intent. Then, when he found out the Navy was defying him, he expressed his intent again, and they still drove on with their defiance. And then the press flacks for the Navy issued their passive aggressive statement and pretended that his expression of intent did not constitute a clear and unequivocal order.

Eco-Freaks try to destroy yet another forest

Lawsuits, lawsuits, lawsuits.

BOISE, Idaho — The U.S. Forest Service is ignoring a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruling by restarting a giant forest project in Idaho, say environmental groups that have filed another lawsuit seeking to stop the project a second time.

First of all, let's take a look at that paragraph of journalistic malpractice, shall we?  What's the first thing people see?  That the US Forest Service is ignoring a court ruling.  Are they actually doing that?  No, that's just what a group of Proggie Eco-Freaks says, but if they were actually ignoring a court ruling there would be no second lawsuit.  If they were ignoring a court ruling, there would be punitive action taken.  Since there is no punitive action taken, the US Forest Service is following whatever terms the court laid down previously.

So we have lies from the Proggie Eco-Freaks and misleading statements by the press.  Who are probably also Proggie Eoc-Freaks.

The project has a combination of commercial logging, prescribed burning and recreation improvements such as additional trail maintenance and installing bathrooms. Also planned are habitat improvements for federally protected bull trout and northern Idaho ground squirrel. 

But the environmental groups say the project comes at the expense of wildlife habitat and turns the public forest into a tree farm to benefit timber interests.

"Timber interests".  That would be logging, the sort of thing that allows all the Proggie Eco-Freaks to move up to Boise and Salt Lake City and Coeur d'Alene and have illegal aliens build their houses while sneering at the locals for not being enlightened Proggie Eco-Freaks.

In short the Proggie Eco-Freaks want the forests to stand there and die, until a lighting strike causes catastrophic wildfires that sterilize the soil and make sure nothing grows there for decades.  Due to a lack of forest management, the western forests are already dealing with a pine beetle outbreak that's killing trees for miles, and the Douglas Fir are dealing with a virus that spreads through root contact.  And when trees are packed in because the forests haven't been managed, there's lots of root contact.  If the crowns of the trees are touching, the roots are touching, so Douglas Firs have been dying off all over the West.  The Nez Perce National Forest is full of dead trees.  The Sawtooth National Forest is full of dead trees.  Every National Forest in the west is full of dead trees, because Proggie Eco-Freaks like the Alliance for the Wild Rockies block any effort to manage the forests, and yes that includes logging them.

But the Alliance for the Wild Rockies doesn't give a shit about any of that, because the people running the Alliance for the Wild Rockies don't have to deal with that.  They don't live in the middle of it.  They don't have family members laid off because the timber industry is getting shut down.  They just jet in, spend some time in an expensive cabin that someone else maintains, and then jet out, full of smug, moral superiority about how much better they are than those lesser people like loggers and ranchers and farmers.

Fucking bastards should be forced to live in the damn forests that they claim to care about.

But I won't believe that the Horowitz report is "going to be released" until I actually see it released.  And even then I have no hope that the criminals behind the FISA abuse will ever see any jail time, because in this country if you're a politically connected Democrat you don't do jail time.  Just ask Hillary Clinton about her private email server that contained Above Top Secret documents.  If I had done that, I'd be in Ft. Rear Admiral Collin Green needs to be relieved of Command

When your command has tried to fuck someone so badly that the President himself stepped in and said "No", and then you continue to try to fuck that troop, you need to be fired.

Chief Petty Officer Edward Gallagher might be forced out of the Navy's elite SEAL unit, despite being acquitted in July on nearly all charges and a recent pardon from President Trump on the one minor charge that did stick. 

The New York Times reports that SEAL commander Rear Adm. Collin Green "now has the authorization he needs from the Navy" to remove Gallagher's Trident pin -- the symbol of his SEAL status -- and "effectively end" his career. Gallagher reportedly had already planned to retire from the Navy, even after being found Not Guilty on the most serious charges against him. But as NYT's Dave Phillips noted, "in a warrior culture that prizes honor and prestige, the rebuke would still cast [him] out of a tight-knit brotherhood."

This punishment isn't punitive, it's petty.  The dude is going to retire.  He's done, and he's quite honestly lost all faith in the leadership that was screwing him over. So he was leaving.  But that wasn't good enough for the dick pimple named Rear Admiral Collin Green.  Nope, Admiral Green wants to try to bend CPO Gallagher over one last time and fuck him really, really hard, simply because he wants to do so.

Folks, shit like this will kill moral faster than you can say "Obama's Rules of Engagement".  Punishing someone who screwed up is one thing, but I think we can all say that CPO Gallagher has been punished enough.  Hell, the process he went through, where the prosecutorial misconduct drew a rebuke from President Trump in the form of rescinded awards, was punishment enough.  But now the head of the SEALS is trying to continue the screwing process for no benefit and no reason other than sheer spite?

Let's just start with a statement he made previously, that he reported on the Ukraine phone call because he was afraid that President Trump would "subvert US foreign policy".  Anybody wanna guess who sets US foreign policy?  The president.  What Vindman is upset about is that Trump is subverting Obama's foreign policy, and it's my guess that Vindman spent so much time under desks sucking off Obama cronies for a cushy position that he was afraid he'd lose everything he sucked so hard to get.

But his performance yesterday at the Schiff Show was instantly recognizable to anyone who's spent a little time in the Armed Forces.  I'm amazed that this guy's ego could even fit into the room with him.  Go listen to him talk, watch his face, and you will know exactly what I'm talking about.  He's the hellish combination of arrogance, ignorance, entitlement, stupidity, and anti-Americanism wrapped into one overweight package and shoved into a uniform.

We already know that Vindman was such a shitty staff officer that an Obama flunky had to prevent him from getting fired from the National Security Council.  Maybe it was one of the guys Vindman was bending over for to get the job in the first place, who knows.

So officials tried to remove Vindman due to security concerns (guessing a whole lot of leaking), but an Obama holdover blocked their efforts. Oh, and she happens to be closely tied to the Obama family.

And I love my wife, I really really do.

My wife comes from a family that won't use a single nail when a dozen nails will do.  Because it might come loose.  And there was room, right there, don't you see it?

So we've had a few rodent problems.  The previous tenants weren't exactly the greatest, there were a few issues we cleaned up, and it's an older house.  It's getting colder, and the furry little bastards were coming inside. 

So my wife looks up ways to keep mice out, and sees that mothballs will tend to drive them out because they don't like the smell.

So my dear, loving wife buys a big ass bag of moth balls, finds a couple spots under the kitchen cabinets that the mice have used, and shoves them in there.

All of them, from what I can tell.

My house smells like a public urinal right now.  I'm going to drill through the baseboards tomorrow and vacuum all those mothballs out.

The entire house smells like Andouille.

Smoked it yesterday for about six hours, with pecan wood.  We have about ten pounds of it sitting in the fridge waiting to be portioned up and put into freezer bags.  It's like ham in a casing, only better.  And it makes the entire house smell wonderful.  We'll cut it into one pound portions, so we can make red beans and rice, and soups, and gumbo.



The Mrs. has two hams that are going to get smoked sometime soon.  They've been salted and aging.  Time to put some smoke on 'em.  Christmas is going to taste awesome this year.

Got the meat all cut up and seasoned

Gonna grind it up this morning, stuff it into casings, and then smoke it for about six hours with pecan.  While the meat is smoking with pecan wood, I will be smoking with a Padron my brother sent me for my birthday a while ago.

The Mrs will be doing some running around, apparently.  Got things to purchase for the house, like small canning lids.  My extent of going outside the house is to the backyard to feed the smoker.

When I was stationed in Richmond, I would listen to the political talk radio while I drove to work.  Well, on the days I wasn't riding to work.  And my takeaway about the Virginia GOP then was that they were a bunch of establishment RINOs who cared more about getting into the right cocktail parties than winning elections.

Lotsa never-Trumpers in VA, donchaknow.  Hardly surprising given that Northern Virginia is essentially D.C. suburbs, filled with various parasites, marxists, deep-state workers and other people detrimental to the continuation of the United States of America.

But I recall the 2016 primaries, and the VA GOP hated Trump.  The voters loved him, but the party establishment hated him.

So they haven't recovered from that, it seems.  Nor have they made any improvements.  The Virginia GOP is what happens when blue-bloods from Richmond morph into "Upper Class Twits of the Year".

Given that this is my first winter here, I wasn't prepared for the sheer amount of hysteria over sub-freezing temperatures.  I mean, it's high desert, folks.  We're just on the other border of IDAHO, which in case you don't know is kinda northern.  Most of this state is above 3000 feet in elevation, with my current patch of land more in the 4000 foot range.

So, it gets cold from time to time.

You'd think they would expect it.

My mom was warning me in August that it was going to be colder than normal.  The horse's coats were already coming in thick back then. 

Anyways, we didn't have many trick-or-treaters because it was "cold".  We even set up coffee and hot cocoa for the adults.  The few that showed up greatly appreciated it.  Maybe we and the Mrs. are just weird, but it really wasn't that cold.  Talk to me in January.

It's not enough that the House voted to do some sort of impeachment thingy (but not real impeachment because then there would be actual rules instead of the Soviet style horse-shit that the Democrats are pulling).  I mean, the Left has been screaming about impeachment ever since that drunk felon Hillary Clinton lost the election they'd spent billions trying to purchase.  No, the Democrats had to prove how much they hate America and the rule of Law by ensuring that their show trials were established in such a way, with "rules" so contrary to fairness, that even Mao would stare in astonishment.

Two pieces, written by different people, that tie together.

First, the "whistleblower" on Trump's Ukraine call is a DNC hack.  This is why the National Socialist Democrat Worker's Party was trying to keep him anonymous, because now that people know who he is and what he's done, what's left of his credibility just got shot down the drains.

And in that spirit, here's the second piece:  A transnational elite racing its way towards revolution.  The people who run Washington D.C. don't know you, and they don't want to know you.  They don't like you.  They hate you.  Which is why every major decision they have made pre-Trump destroyed just a little bit more of America.

Nancy Pelosi's Illegitimate Sham.

It should come as no surprise that the people who loath the US constitution and hate America, and by extension good, honest Americans, would come up with this kind of Soviet-style circus to try to remove a duly elected President.

What's even more worrisome is the fact that Nancy Pelosi's supporters are either so corrupt they don't care about her anti-American activities, or so stupid they don't know what's going on in the first place.

When good people get punched in the face

Sarah Hoyt describes the moment the Left made her break.

Through more than fifty years of seeing slander perpetrated against anyone who disagreed with the establishment, particularly when the establishment was the result of the long march, I thought — like an idiot — that of course they would attack our taste, our intelligence, our writing. I never thought they’d go political. Much less that they’d accuse us of motives that made absolutely no sense whatsoever.  Which of course they did, in the international press.  (And btw US slander laws suck.) 

And then it all became political.  And the shock — and honestly a shock that broke something in me, because you don’t expect that.  You just don’t — was that people who knew me, people I’d considered friends, people I’d have trusted, people who weren’t political, believed the slander.  I lost friends over it. But more importantly, I lost trust in humanity as a whole.

I don't think I've ever had a moment like that.  Because unlike Sarah, I didn't start out thinking people were good.  People are, as stated by Dr. Cox on the show Scrubs, "Bastard coated Bastards with Bastard filling".  And that's on a good day.

Mankind is fallen.  They have been ever since Eve and Adam ate the apple.  Our whole existence is one big attempt to raise ourselves up from that fallen state, and that's the story of mankind from then to now, to forever.  Mankind is not naturally "good".  That has to be taught.  And America is teaching that less and less these days. 

I don't trust humanity.  I have absolutely no reason to trust humanity.  I have seen what humanity does to itself over and over and over, and it doesn't shock me when one group kills another group, or burns down their section of the city (other than the basic shock of seeing humans act worse than dogs, who instinctively know not to shit in their den).  Civilization is a thin veneer of plaster trying to keep a house together in an earthquake, and it will fail at some point.  It's not if, it's a matter of when.

My mom always told me that if you want to see what people are truly like, watch them playing sports and driving.  That's when the mask comes off, because no one is watching, or so they think.  Take a drive through any major urban area these days, and tell me what you see.  Flip on any sports event on TV, and tell me what you see.

Robert Heinlein's quote is true, and everyone recognizes it's truth, because humans don't start out "good", and they don't magically become "good".  That has to be taught, either through the luck of having good parents, or through harsh lessons from reality.

Hard times make hard men.  Hard men make good times.  Good times make soft men.  Soft men make hard times.

Take a glance at the Gen-Xers, the Millennials, and tell me how many hard men you see there.  Hell, the entire Democrat Party Platform is made to appeal to soft men.  Soft men, and those who enjoy the destruction of civilization as we know it.

Washington Nationals fans booed President Trump

Fuck those fucking fuckers with a chainsaw.

I suppose it was to be expected. After all, President Trump had ventured right into the heart of enemy territory. 

On Sunday night, the President and First Lady Melania Trump attended Game 5 of the World Series between the Washington Nationals and the Houston Astros at Nationals Park. 

When an image of Trump’s box flashed up on the video screen, fans broke into a full-throated round of boos, and followed with a chant of “Lock Him Up.”

I'm not an Astros fan by any means, but I'm rooting for them this year.  Fuck Washington D.C.  Fuck it straight to hell, and fuck all the Deep-State swamp creatures that feast on this country from the bowels of D.C.  Fuck them all.  There really is two Americas, just like Pony-Boy Edwards said back in 2004.  But it's not the vision he laid out.  The two Americas are the greedy socialist parasites who infest places like Washington D.C., and the rest of the country that's trying to pull the parasites off.  It's telling that the people who root for the Nationals are a bunch of small-minded, rage-filled assholes who can't even let Trump enjoy a ballgame, and it shows the character of the people that we Normal Americans are fighting against:  Cheap, petty, overly-credentialed, vastly over-paid, small-minded, anti-American fuckstains on America's bedsheets.

If I could lift up all the monuments from D.C. and move them to somewhere else, I'd build a wall around the rest of the city and let it drown in the Potomac. 

One more goat-fucker down

So Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is now mincemeat, by his own hand.  As President Trump said, he died whimpering and crying like a coward and a dog.

I object.  Dogs are wonderful creatures, and I would never reference any goat-fucker to a dog, as dogs have more loyalty, strength, and intelligence than any goat-fucker could possess.

Power is out in California.  Again.  With more wildfires.  Look, I feel sorry for the actually good people of California.  I don't know what to do when some guy in the Central Valley has to live in the socialist shithole created by Lost Angeles and California.  Same way I feel about the farmers in Ellensburg who have to live under the bootheel of the Pugetropolis in Washington.  But when I hear about homes burned in Los Angeles, or people dodging poop piles in San Francisco, my only real response is "You fuckers voted for this, and you got it."

There is actually one more thought in my head:  "STAY THERE!  DON'T COME HERE AND FUCK THIS PLACE UP TOO!"  Although for much of the western side of the country it's too late.  Salt Lake City is thoroughly Kalifornicated, although the outlying areas seem to be resisting it for a bit. 

Speaking of Kalifornication, noted pot-smoking bisexual polyamorist Katie Hill is resigning from Congress.  Personally, I don't think she's resigning because of the nude photos, or the multiple ethics violations she's committed.  She's a democrat, so she has no real morals other than whatever gets her the most power, and she's not ashamed of anything she's done so far.  No, I think she's got some bigger skeletons in her closet, and she's leaving before more people start digging around and finding them.
