Growing weed in Colorado produces more CO2 than COAL MINING!
Legal cannabis production in Colorado emits more greenhouse gases than the state’s coal mining industry, researchers analysing the sector’s energy use have found.

They found that emissions varied widely by state, from 2.3 to 5.2 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) per kilogram of dried flower produced.
In Colorado, the emissions add up to around 2.6 megatonnes of CO2e, which is more than that from the state’s coal mining at 1.8 megatonnes of CO2e.
“The emissions that come from growing 1 ounce, depending on where it’s grown in the US, is about the same as burning 7 to 16 gallons of gasoline,” says Summers.

DENVER–The Rocky Mountain Wolf Action Fund submitted 211,093 petition signatures December 10 for a ballot measure mandating reintroduction of gray wolves to Colorado. Signature verification is ongoing by the Secretary of State’s office with 124,632 valid signatures required to put the initiative on the 2020 ballot.
The prospect of wolves returning to Colorado alarms rural residents because of the certainty of wolf predation on livestock, big game and even pets.
Wolf predation is a big problem in other states like Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Washington, California and Minnesota, home to more than 2,400 wolves, the largest population of wolves in the lower 48 states.Idaho has had to issue hunting tags for wolves because the deer and elk populations are getting wiped out. And that doesn't take into consideration the damage done to domestic animals. There's a reason people hunted wolves to extinction, people. Wolves are killing machines. They'll kill anything they want to kill, because that's what they do. Bring them back, and they'll just do what they do all over again.
Rick Enstrom, former Colorado State Wildlife Commissioner from 2000 to 2008 and Chairman for three years is an expert on wolves in Colorado. Enstrom also served on the first wolf working group that developed the wolf plan for Colorado in 2004. He warned against the reintroduction measure in an interview with Complete Colorado on Thursday.
“You only have to look at what happened to the Wyoming elk population,” Enstrom said. “Their herds have been knocked back to 10 percent of what it was.”A big chunk of money that the states use for wildlife management comes from hunting licenses and the various fees associated with getting a tag for whatever animal you're hunting. Take away the animals (by reintroducing wolves and letting them go to town on the herds) and you won't have people buying tags, because there will be nothing to hunt. So bye-bye wildlife management funding. And that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the problems that the wolves will bring.

In fact, they've only gotten worse, as new diseases started hitting the Douglas Fir population in Northern Idaho and the surrounding areas. All of the devastation is preventable, but the eco-freaks won't let forest management and logging occur. Australia is apparently even worse.
The people most to blame for the Australian bush fires are the greens. Just like in California, their tree-hugging Gaia worship blinded them to the reality that forests need regular clearance and maintenance if they are not to become a major fire hazard.

Eco-Freaks try to destroy yet another forest
Lawsuits, lawsuits, lawsuits.
First of all, let's take a look at that paragraph of journalistic malpractice, shall we? What's the first thing people see? That the US Forest Service is ignoring a court ruling. Are they actually doing that? No, that's just what a group of Proggie Eco-Freaks says, but if they were actually ignoring a court ruling there would be no second lawsuit. If they were ignoring a court ruling, there would be punitive action taken. Since there is no punitive action taken, the US Forest Service is following whatever terms the court laid down previously.
So we have lies from the Proggie Eco-Freaks and misleading statements by the press. Who are probably also Proggie Eoc-Freaks.
"Timber interests". That would be logging, the sort of thing that allows all the Proggie Eco-Freaks to move up to Boise and Salt Lake City and Coeur d'Alene and have illegal aliens build their houses while sneering at the locals for not being enlightened Proggie Eco-Freaks.
In short the Proggie Eco-Freaks want the forests to stand there and die, until a lighting strike causes catastrophic wildfires that sterilize the soil and make sure nothing grows there for decades. Due to a lack of forest management, the western forests are already dealing with a pine beetle outbreak that's killing trees for miles, and the Douglas Fir are dealing with a virus that spreads through root contact. And when trees are packed in because the forests haven't been managed, there's lots of root contact. If the crowns of the trees are touching, the roots are touching, so Douglas Firs have been dying off all over the West. The Nez Perce National Forest is full of dead trees. The Sawtooth National Forest is full of dead trees. Every National Forest in the west is full of dead trees, because Proggie Eco-Freaks like the Alliance for the Wild Rockies block any effort to manage the forests, and yes that includes logging them.
But the Alliance for the Wild Rockies doesn't give a shit about any of that, because the people running the Alliance for the Wild Rockies don't have to deal with that. They don't live in the middle of it. They don't have family members laid off because the timber industry is getting shut down. They just jet in, spend some time in an expensive cabin that someone else maintains, and then jet out, full of smug, moral superiority about how much better they are than those lesser people like loggers and ranchers and farmers.
Fucking bastards should be forced to live in the damn forests that they claim to care about.

The Northwest is burning
Idaho is covered in smoke from the top to the bottom of the state. It's unreal.
Many of these fires were started by lightning strikes in hard-to-reach areas. But many of them continue because the forests they are burning have been so mismanaged under by FedGov and the eco-freaks who control it. I've gone into the damage that the eco-freaks agenda does to the national forests; you can search for all the different posts if you want. But we're seeing the evidence and damage in real time right now.

They paved over the fields
Over a decade ago I wrote a little post about a woman named Patti Gora, who was leading lawsuits to stop the grass seed farmers from burning their fields after harvest. Burning the fields was the only real way to clear out any weeds and prevent their harvest from becoming contaminated. Eliminate burning, and you eliminate the farmers.
Jacklin Seed shut down their facility a while ago. The building is for sale. The eco-freaks won, and the farmers lost. So what happened?
The farmers sold their fields to the folks who would buy them. And those folks were the property developers from California and New York who were using the eco-freaks to do their dirty work. And they build houses upon the miles and miles of prairie, and all that open land was paved over.
Because, you see, the eco-freaks who claimed to love Gaia and hate the pollution of field burning didn't actually give a shit about the environment. They were bought and paid for shills of the people who wanted that farmland to build houses on. They have ALWAYS been bought and paid for shills of someone else.
Tell me, if you actually gave a damn about the environment, what would you prefer to have - miles upon miles of prairie and grassland that was burned once a year? Or miles and miles of paved roads and cars and houses, with fertilizer and petroleum products and other pollutants?
Let this be an abject lesson for anyone who's on the fence, or for anyone who's under attack from the emotion-driven arguments of the eco-freaks. The people of the eco-freak movement don't know a damn thing about the real environment. They don't know a damn thing about what's best for the environment. They are tools, being used by people much smarter then them, to accomplish what those smart people want.
The Rathdrum Prairie is disappearing. It's being paved over, and that happened because the eco-freaks put the farmers out of business. This may not have been what the eco-freaks wanted, but it's what their masters wanted, and the masters got what they wanted because the eco-freaks are brainless, weak-minded, spineless simpering maggots.

And she's just as big a tool of her masters now as she was then. Remember that when someone claims that they just "want the president and Congress to know that the protection of human health is critical to strong communities"

The Pope's environmental crusade
Is a cause that hurts the people he claims to care about most: The Poor.
I wish I could claim I was shocked, but I'm not, because I actually bother to read economic news instead of just blathering on in Marxist-fueled pipe dreams like the Pope does. Folks, this particular pope, Francis, is a Marxist first and foremost. You can see it in his attacks on Capitalism, the one force that has helped more of the poor than anything else in the world. You can see it in the way he inserts himself into every marxist cause of this century (and the last), rather than focusing on the real, actual mission of the Church, which would be the saving of souls.
If you're Catholic, I'm begging you to find a traditional Latin Mass in your area and start attending that instead of the Novus Ordo caricature of a religious celebration. Do it not just because you're missing out on an authentic religious ceremony, a beautiful celebration that has been stripped from you by modernists and other enemies inside the Church, but do it because Pope Francis hates the Latin Mass with a passion. Because the Latin Mass isn't about "the ecology" or being against Capitalism or any of the other Marxist shibboleths that Francis espouses instead of focusing on his actual job. The Latin Mass is focused on Jesus Christ, not the popular political movement of the day, or whatever Leftist bullshit is being tossed around.
And I think that's really why Frank hates it. Because his focus is not on Jesus Christ, his focus is on this world and his ideology. And he doesn't want to be reminded of that.

Power Grid and Winter Weather
So, apparently people are worried that the power grid might go down if we have another hard winter, thanks to Obama's EPA closing coal fired plants down and dropping the amount of electricity we can produce.
I say let the winter come, and let the people in the cities freeze to death. This, after all, is what and who they voted for. This is the consequence of their actions, and I can't think of anything more fitting than liberals shivering, huddled together while they go into hypothermia, wondering why unicorn farts and rainbows didn't save them.

Toyota Prius hybrid, driven 20,000 miles per year ,will need enough coal to be burned (to create the electricity to recharge it), to emit 12,052.2 Lbs of CO2 into the atmosphere from the power plant.
Toyota Camry 4 cylinder gasoline engine, 20,000 miles will emit 5030 Lbs of CO2 during its use.(and its a LARGER car)
