Sometime back around 2008, I had a very stupid woman try to tell me that climate change was settled science.  I pointed out that science is not settled, that's not how it works.  She replied with "WE HAVE A CONSENSUS!"

What I said next to her was an amalgamation of various insults and questions about her sanity, intelligence and family breeding.

In between questioning her intelligence and her breeding, I pointed out that there have been warmer times on this earth, and there have been colder times.  And not just way back in the age of the dinosaurs, these warmer and colder times have occurred within written history.  So if it's been warmer hundreds of years ago, and it's been colder hundreds of years ago, was it the SUVs or the coal-fired power plants responsible for that?

She vapor locked, because I had questioned her religious cult and didn't back down from her bullshit.  So she sputtered some shit about how I'm a "denier" or some other stupid shit, and tried to call me dumb.  At which point I said that the person who wasn't even aware of the Little Ice Age or the Medieval Warm Period shouldn't be insulting ANYONE'S intelligence until they actually learned a few things, so she should shut her whore mouth around her betters.

The average wind farm needs over 12,000 gallons of oil.

The wind is blowing, so there’s that problem solved. But the farm’s turbines cannot handle it. Since 2020, at least seven parts of the turbines have fallen off during high winds. Life In Norway reports that the Norwegian Water Resources and Directive has given the farm until October 10 to fix the problem or shutter operations.

It also requires tons of copper (mining!) and tons of cement for the base of the windmill, as well as tons of steel to reinforce the base.

In short, you're never going to get the energy that you expended to make the damn thing.

People who set fires during the dry season that end up killing humans, thousands of domesticated animal,s and millions of wild animals are the reason that the death penalty exists.  Houses burned to the ground.  Millions if not billions of dollars in property damage.  Death and carnage everywhere, all so some little demonic shit can have a giggle.

Man-made culprit #2: well-meaning idiots who don’t understand that unless you manage forested areas with controlled burns, you’re going to end up with out-of-control wildfires.

Man-made culprit #3: Greens
The people most to blame for the Australian bush fires are the greens. Just like in California, their tree-hugging Gaia worship blinded them to the reality that forests need regular clearance and maintenance if they are not to become a major fire hazard.

America's National Forests are pretty much tinder boxes right now due to the eco-freaks and their lawsuits which shut down any logging or forest management.  Years ago I wrote up an essay that went into the details of the eco-freaks and their bullshit.  Things haven't changed.  In fact, they've only gotten worse, as new diseases started hitting the Douglas Fir population in Northern Idaho and the surrounding areas.  All of the devastation is preventable, but the eco-freaks won't let forest management and logging occur.  Australia is apparently even worse.

I think the eco-freaks need to be shackled and force-marched through the burned areas while the residents who's homes have been destroyed get to throw their burnt possessions at the procession.  Let's make their stupidity painful to the eco-freaks, rather than just the average Joe who suffers under their stupidity and repression.

Reduced sunspot activity has been observed and indicates the sun is heading into a 50 year reduced solar activity similar to what happened in the mid-17th century. 

Comparison to similar stars indicates the reduced activity will cause 0.25% less UV for 50 years.

I know that weather is not climate, but down here in Mississippi all the locals are wondering where they hell their friend the Sun has disappeared to.  I'm enjoying what I think is an extremely mild winter, but the locals can't walk outside without uttering "What the fuck?  What the fucking fuck?" as they wrap up like Nanook of the North and scurry from their heated office to their heated car.

If our friend the Sun is taking himself a little nap for the next 50 years or so, I will react to all proclamations of global warming with a severe beating 'round the head and shoulders of the proclaimer.  Kind of like the writers of this article, who are STILL going on and on about the absolute fucking bullshit that mankind is causing the Earth to WARM UP AND DIE!

Australia’s Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) has been caught red handed erasing record-breaking cold temperatures from its data records. 

The BOM has now been shamed by media investigations into ordering a review of its procedures. But it has yet to provide an explanation as to why it made these “adjustments” in the first place.

Fire them all.  Fire them and get actual, real scientists in their place.  Fire everyone involved with this, from top to bottom, and start over.

Michael Mann fucked up one time too many

The creator of the "hockey stick" graph, who has never allowed any of his data to be inspected, has finally stepped on his dick in a way that's going to hurt him the most.

The inventor of the hockey stick graph, Penn State Professor Michael Mann, is in hot water in Canada over a lawsuit he filed against a climatologist, Dr. Tim Ball, one of his main critics. The results of this lawsuit have wide-ranging implications for everything from the validity of his hockey stick graph as proof of man-made global warming, to the right of free expression. 

Mann is allegedly in contempt of court for refusing discovery to the person he's suing for defamation. Dr. Ball claims he agreed to an adjournment of the court proceedings on the condition that Mann turns over all the data used to create his hockey stick graph that purports to show a spike in global warming in the twentieth century. The discovery of this data is vital to Ball's defense, as he has criticized the methodology used to create the graph. 

Mann's refusal to comply with this aspect of discovery has been hailed by some as proof that the data behind the hockey stick graph doesn't exist, and the graph is a fraud. While it may be premature to make such a sweeping declaration, Mann's purported refusal to cooperate in this legal proceeding is damning.

Michael Mann apparently sues actual scientists who dare to speak out against the blatant fraud and bullshit that he peddles.  This time, someone got pissed off enough that they walked into court and are now putting that pathetic hack Michael Mann in quite a bind:  Either he turns over the information he's refused to allow anyone to look at, or withdraw his lawsuit, at which point the victim can then turn around and sue his pants off.

Michael Mann is a fraud, a huckster, a bullshitter, a snake-oil salesman, a con artist, and quite frankly he deserves to be in jail.  If this is what lands him there, I'm perfectly fine with that.  If it financially ruins him, I'm fine with that as well.  If it hounds him out of any other kind of public affairs, I'm fine with that too.

"Scientific Evidence".  Let me remind you that we are nowhere near the highs of the Medieval Warm Period, nor are we anywhere close to the lows of the Little Ice Age.  Al Gore, aka Pope Prius the First of the High Church of Global Warming, is still flying around on a private jet burning more fossil fuels in one month than I use in a year.  Leo DeCraprio is still flying his pals around the world in private jets to show them movies about global warming at a beach-front resort.  All the people telling us this is a crisis are acting in the complete opposite fashion.

This is on top of the fact that we KNOW the data has been manipulated.  The computer models they used were skewed in order to produce the results they wanted.  NONE of their predictions have come true,   And EVERY SINGLE MODEL showing catastrophe was destroyed by the simple fact that we haven't had a single bit of global warming for the past 17 years.  They call it "The Pause".  And if their models were correct, The Pause would not have happened.

So the only way this dire prediction would be useful is if you printed it out and used it as toilet paper.
