In my last update on the chemical release disaster in East Palestine, Ohio, I noted that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) declined to send aid to the state. Basically, Gov. Mike DeWine was told that it wasn’t the agency’s normal purview, which usually is related to assisting after natural disasters such as hurricanes and earthquakes.

Since that report, the agency has rethought its initial stance.

The level of pollution caused by the train derailment should have had FEMA and the EPA working around the clock to deal with the fall-out.  Instead, you have dead birds falling from the sky in a rainstorm 70 miles away from ground zero.  So NOW the people who are charged with dealing with disasters are finally stepping up.

Too fucking late.  That shit is in the air.  It's in the water.  And it's spreading.  The fallout from this is going to be YEARS long.

The FBI spied on Aretha Franklin?

Rolling Stone magazine obtained Franklin’s FBI file and found in it a record of “false phone calls, surveillance, infiltration and highly-placed sources” that the feds inflicted upon Franklin between 1967 and 2007. The file is full of references to “black extremists,” “pro-communist,” “hate America,” “radical,” “racial violence” and “militant black power.” It opines that Martin Luther King’s funeral, where Franklin sang, could turn into a “radical situation,” adding that “Sammy Davis Jr., Aretha Franklin… of this group, some have supported militant Black power concept.” Accordingly, King’s funeral could “provide emotional spark which could ignite racial disturbance in this area.”

I have no words, other than the FBI needs to be burned to the ground.  How many communists were infiltrating the US Government while the FBI worried about Aretha Franklin?

 When they raise the hue and cry over monkeypox, if you're not a gay man going to orgies the chances of you contracting monkeypox is essentially zero.

NBC News reported on a study in the New England Journal of Medicine that, “The global monkeypox outbreak is primarily being driven by sex between men, according to the first major peer-reviewed paper to analyze a large set of cases of the virus.”

In fact, 95 percent of cases were traced to back to gay sex, and the other 5 percent featured someone who lied. 

OK, I have no basis for that last part, other than a sinking suspicion.

Get ready for your engines to blow up

 Because the Biden junta is pushing their radical eco-freak ideology through the EPA now.

Last Friday the Biden administration raised the mandatory amount of biofuel, specifically ethanol, that must be blended within the U.S. gasoline supply.  The previous amount of 10% (summer blend) was raised to a year-round 15% (waiver) by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).  This is likely to lead to two sets of bigger issues, less food and higher gas prices.

Look, gasoline engines are designed to run on GASOLINE, not alcohol.  You add too much alcohol and you're going to start blowing seals and gaskets and other important things that your engines need.  You're going to see the fuel system start to corrode, or get filled with brown glop as the alcohol starts to hold on to water, or coat your fuel system with varnish.

And that doesn't even begin to address the problem that you cannot get the energy OUT of ethanol that you used to create it.  So for every gallon of ethanol, you have to burn MORE than a gallon of oil to produce it.  So where's the benefit?  It doesn't exist, except for the politicians and the people who trade them.

And of course this is being done through dictatorial fiat via the EPA.  Every three letter agency in D.C. needs to be nuked.

For a couple of years now, I've been looking at the housing market and saying "This isn't natural.  Something is skewing the market.  There's no way these prices are organic."  And I've had my theories, and I've looked at a few things, but this article lays it out quite nicely.

The Federal Reserve has created a doom loop between the housing market and inflation. For years it has printed tens of billions of dollars each month to buy sketchy securities meant to subsidize the housing market and favor bond traders. This continues even now, in spite of inflation and a red-hot housing market. But the housing market has become dependent on unearned, newly printed money, and stopping the flow might cause a catastrophic correction. If it doesn’t stop, however, inflation will explode. 

Let me walk you through some of the math.

Where I currently live is a bunch of old military housing that the dot.mil sold off decades ago.  Small houses, typically three bed one bath, on decent sized lots.  When I got to Utah, they were selling for around $200k, which I thought was high but this is an urban metro area.

Our neighbor put his house up on the market last week and got an offer of $390k.  

Folks, these houses ain't worth that much.  Period.  But people are PAYING that much, mostly folks from out of state (*cough*kalifornia*cough*) who have sold their shitty broom closets in an even more overheated market and come up here to escape.

As a side note, the folks who move to my part of the area tend to be rather conservative.  The folks who leave Kalifornia and stay liberal tend to move into SLC proper or go south of SLC.

Anyways, let's go back to talking about how the government has fucked things up AGAIN.

The sheer scale of the Fed’s involvement in the mortgage market caused an unstable bubble. As the president of the Kansas City Fed recently said, “by owning roughly one-quarter of the MBS market along with a significant portfolio of longer-term Treasuries, our presence in financial markets muddies price signals, encourages excessive risk-taking, and can foster financial instability. Asset prices remain historically high and remain vulnerable to economic and policy uncertainty.” 

In other words, lenders don’t need to worry about lending to risky borrowers because the Fed is buying all the crap nobody else will touch.

Remember how the government used Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to cause the 2008 housing bubble to pop, and the economic crisis that followed it?

It's gonna be worse.  Far worse.  Inflation is going to get worse, prices are going to skyrocket, because the government is controlled by ideological idiots who either have no clue what the fuck they're doing, or they're doing it on purpose because they want to collapse the system and rebuild it as their socialist utiopia.

The National Institutes of Health is facing a bipartisan congressional probe for spending $2.5 million in taxpayer funds on a study that injected beagle puppies with cocaine, according to a copy of the investigation obtained exclusively by the Washington Free Beacon.

The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), an NIH offshoot, was recently found to have conducted a study in which it "spent roughly $2.5 million of taxpayers' money on cruel tests on six-month-old beagle puppies," according to the investigation by 15 House lawmakers, led by Reps. Nancy Mace (R., S.C.) and Brendan Boyle (D., Pa.). "These tests entailed force-feeding puppies an experimental drug and injecting them with cocaine to study the interaction between the two compounds."

You wanna study drug interactions?  Set up cameras in the big cities in LA and observe the homeless junkies who they've allowed to over-run the cities.  Add Denver to that list as well.  You don't need to spend more than whatever it costs for a few home security systems.

The regional office of the federal agency did a number of dishonest and possibly illegal things in and around Yakima, Washington, over the last decade that put local dairy farms out of business. More farms will be driven under if the EPA’s cover-up of its actions is allowed to stand, as activists will be able to press faulty claims in court by citing the agency’s supposed authoritativeness.

I'm old enough to remember the Alar Scare that junk scientists and the government used to shut down apple orchards all across Washington State.  I spoke with many former orchard owners who had been put out of business by that bullshit.  History repeats itself.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court has basically told the state government that they still have to follow the Constitution.

n a 4-3 decision, the Wisconsin Supreme Court struck down the Gov. Tony Evers’ administration’s stay-at-home order. 

The ruling “essentially reopens the state, lifting caps on the size of gatherings, allowing people to travel as they please and allowing shuttered businesses to reopen, including bars and restaurants,” the Associated Press reported. 

Health secretary Andrea Palm had issued the order, and the court found she didn’t have the authority to do so.

And of course, the little tinpot dictator Governor who appointed his little fascist-in-training wasn't so happy about this.

Evers, meanwhile, “reacted angrily” to the ruling, according to the AP. 

“Today, Republican legislators convinced four members of the state Supreme Court to throw the state into chaos,” Evers said. 

“They have provided no plan. There’s no question among anybody that people are going to get sick. Republicans own that chaos.” 

He added, “In the meantime, we’re going to have 72 counties doing their own thing.” 

“I can’t believe there’s a state in the nation with this type of chaos.”

The arrogance and condescension of a Democrat never ceases to amaze me.  Is there something about being a Marxist that makes you sneer and dismiss the abilities of normal people, or it is the ego and unearned sense of moral superiority that makes you a Marxist? 

And Marxists, because of their narcissistic mania and over-grown opinions of their capabilities, are literally incapable of learning from history.  For example, take this article (brought to my attention by Kim du Toit) that describes how Germany pulled itself out of the economic morass of post-WWII devastation.

Every time the government steps in to "help", it hurts.  It destroys economies, it destroys health care systems, it destroys cities (see Detroit).  The only thing that can get these kinds of systems and places up and running again is the people, the individuals.  All the government has to do is GET THE HELL OUT OF THEIR WAY.

Democrats can't have that, because that would invalidate their entire political philosophy.  So we get the dipshits like Tony Evers in Wisconsin, who just can't believe that those counties are all going to do their own thing!  Why, I never!  Jeeves, my smelling salts!

What that rotten fart bubble refuses to accept is that THE GOVERNMENT is why things are so screwed up.  THE GOVERNMENT is why some states have higher death rates from the Kung Flu while others have lower (see:  New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania).  THE GOVERNMENT is why the economy was in shambles prior to Trump taking office, and it is the orders from THE GOVERNMENT that destroyed a raging economy in less than two months.

You want to know who can get it back online and humming?  Not The Government.  The Government is a collection of corrupt, stupid, venal, ego-maniacal, lazy shitbags and grifters, from top to bottom.  Oh, your local government might have less of those and more of people who actually are there to help you (my experiences with my county of residence have been quite pleasant in the majority) but once you move out of the realm where your politicians are rubbing elbows with YOU, then that means that they're rubbing elbows with someone else, and all they really care about from you is your vote.  And as long as they can keep the rabble from realizing just how badly fucked they're getting, they can keep getting voted in again and again and again on the same bullshit promises they make every election year.  Think John F'ing McCain or Paul "Backstabber" Ryan.

Individuals, making individual choices without the jackboot of the government on their necks, can save this country from a decades-long economic depression.  The Individual has always been the answer, and everybody knows it.  That's why so many Democrats are doing their best to destroy the individual and their accomplishments; when America does well, the Democrat Party suffers.  When Americans do well, they don't need the gummint to swoop in and save them, which is the primary means that the National Socialist Democrat Workers Party uses to grab power.  The more America suffers, the happier the Democrat Party becomes, because then they can sell their toxic snake oil of socialism to the people under the guise of "helping" them.  But Marxism always leads to re-education camps and economic destruction.

The Individual, unfettered by government stupidity, is the only thing that can save this country.

It would be easy to say that they were just reacting to the data they had.  But the data they had was flawed, and they knew it.  IF they had corrected their actions when the data began to show that the Kung Flu wasn't nearly as fatal as they predicted, then their prior over-reactions could be considered simply a case of dealing with incomplete information.  But that this country is still locked down, and as more and more data comes in the mortality rate of this virus keeps dropping.  People are getting arrested for going to a park, and the data shows that sunlight kills this virus, which means you actually want people to be outside in the sun!

This lockdown needs to end.

Several high-profile Senate Democrats warned the Supreme Court in pointed terms this week that it could face a fundamental restructuring if justices do not take steps to "heal" the court in the near future. 

The ominous and unusual warning was delivered as part of a brief filed Monday in a case related to a New York City gun law. Sens. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., Mazie Hirono, D-Hawaii, Richard Durbin, D-Ill., and Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., referenced rulings by the court's conservative majority in claiming it is suffering from some sort of affliction which must be remedied.

What's really happening is that the Democrat's near-absolute hold on America's courts is getting loosened, and that means they cannot inflict their illegal, unconstitutional laws on America like they could in the past.  So, of course, they threaten the court to attempt to get the court to do what they want it to do. 

I swear, it's like the Democrats are screaming full throttle towards a brick wall labeled "civil war" and demanding that we all need to go faster.

The trip led by Gardner, a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, cost at least $26,009.03 for commercial flights and per diems, according to records cited by Judicial Watch.

I'm glad I left Seattle when I did

When we left in 2004, the "finding used heroin needles" issue was mostly contained on Capitol Hill and First Hill.  Now it's pretty much spread to the entire city, as the socialists run amok with predictable results.

Seattle is under siege. Over the past five years, the Emerald City has seen an explosion of homelessness, crime, and addiction. In its 2017 point-in-time count of the homeless, King County social-services agency All Home found 11,643 people sleeping in tents, cars, and emergency shelters. Property crime has risen to a rate two and a half times higher than Los Angeles’s and four times higher than New York City’s. Cleanup crews pick up tens of thousands of dirty needles from city streets and parks every year.

When you subsidize something, you get more of it.  It really is that simple.  When you make it easy for drug addicts and homeless people to congregate in an area, and give them money and food and all the things they want, you end up with more drug addicts and homeless people.

At the same time, according to the Puget Sound Business Journal, the Seattle metro area spends more than $1 billion fighting homelessness every year. That’s nearly $100,000 for every homeless man, woman, and child in King County, yet the crisis seems only to have deepened, with more addiction, more crime, and more tent encampments in residential neighborhoods. By any measure, the city’s efforts are not working.

Whoa, whoa whoa....  let's not just skip over that ONE BILLIONS DOLLARS.  If they're spending $100,000 per homeless person to "fight homelessness", where the hell is that money going?  I'm willing to bet it's going into the same place that it goes in every socialist-run location:  Into the pockets of the politically connected.
