It's called "Surrender"

World's first Lesbian Bishop calls for church to remove crosses, point way to Mecca.

I just....  I mean, OK, it's not the Catholic Church, but shouldn't a Christian Bishop defend their flock?

Calling Muslim guests to the church “angels“, the Bishop later took to her official blog to explain that removing Christian symbols from the church and preparing the building for Muslim prayer doesn’t make a priest any less a defender of the faith. Rather, to do any less would make one “stingy towards people of other faiths”.

Well, I'm certain the muslims in Sweden appreciate her surrender.  Now she just needs to wear a burkha like a good infidel and be stoned to death for her homosexuality, and the muslims will be appeased!

I'm certain that'll work out just fine, right?  Right?  Or maybe not.  Maybe, just maybe, a person who claims to be a leader in a Christian church ought to defend their faith against people who would murder you for daring to not bow to their pedophile prophet.  Although an actively lesbian bishop is about as "Christian" as a goat in a mitre, so anything she does or doesn't do really can't be considered out of bounds.

And in other news, the Vatican has fired a bishop who came out as gay.

"I have to say who I am. I am a gay priest. I am a happy and proud gay priest,"

No, you are not.  You are not a priest, anymore than a man cheating on his wife is a "husband".  Your boyfriend with whom you violate your vows of celibacy on a daily basis is not your "husband" either.

Look folks, if I cheated on my wife, if I was unfaithful, if I broke the vows of chastity that I took when I married her, would you listen to me on any matter of morals?  And yes, when you get married you take a vow of chastity, to be faithful to your wife and your wife only.  A priest, when he is ordained, takes a vow of celibacy, no sexual contact with anyone, period.  He is supposed to be faithful to the church he serves.

A priest who violates those vows, and then stands up and says he is happy and proud, is not any kind of a priest that needs to be followed or listened to.  He should be prayed for.  He should be pitied, for having fallen so deep into sin that he celebrates the perverted and shuns the sacred vows he took.  But he should absolutely be removed and de-frocked.

Look, it's simple.  You can believe in Christianity, and in Christian values.  Or you can believe in modern values that have little to do with Christianity.  But if you hold to the latter, you cannot claim to be a priest of the former.

Nose to the grindstone

Compatriot at work headed off to ALC, formerly called BNCOC.  That leave me to do the work of two folks.  Which normally would be fine, if the idiot in charge didn't already having us do double the work.

I cannot wait to leave this shithole.

Busy today

Cleaning up church for our Patron Saint's Feast Day (St. Francis of Assisi).  Doing homework.  Cleaning house.  Ironing my shirts.  Working on dinner (pulled pork).

Gonna be kind of a long day, and it started early.

"What religion are you?" *BLAM*

The gunman at an Oregon college targeted his victims based on their faith.  From his online presence he's a Black Lives Matters supporter

Oh, and he described himself as a "conservative Republican".

One of these things is not like the other!  One of these things just isn't the same......

As a side note, I'm having a hard time mustering up too much emotion over the fact that a transplanted Californian walked into a gun-free, victim-disarmament zone and killed people who meekly stood their like lobotomized sheep.  With the exception of one Army vet, who charged the gunman and got shot seven times for doing so, and the rest of the cowardly fucks still stood there and DID NOTHING.

This sort of helplessness is trained into people.  We have raised multiple generations of sheep, and we're now getting our reward.

Taken on my way to work

Hey dude, look at my car!  The wheels are cambered, which means I can go fast or something like that!  Yeah, man!  My car ROCKS, dude!

Every time I see a car with the wheels cambered at that extreme an angle, I automatically assume that the driver is a douchebag of the highest order.  I haven't been wrong yet.  It's like slapping a giant sticker on your car that says "WARNING!  Driver has a massive attitude problem caused by his tiny little penis!"

From a book I read

I blow things up, therefore I am, even if someone else suddenly isn't.

Man, I need to put that on a T shirt.

The Reason he leads in the polls

As the man says:

The average American feels that the country has a sucking chest wound and everybody but Dr. Trump is telling him to treat it with a couple of aspirin.

Or as I saw on Twitter:

Dear GOP.

Trump is not a Conservative.

He is a Murder Weapon.

The GOP is the victim.

We good now?

Things that make me see red

When I'm browsing the news, and the ads on the side of the page are in Spanish.

Can we just dump this entire city into the ocean and walk away?  Please?

The Leftist Rot in Civilization

Reading Sarah Hoyt's new post, when this paragraph jumped out at me.

Turns out that pulling apart society for the sake of pulling it apart, tearing down “the way it’s been done” just for the sake of doing so, and shocking the bourgeois because it’s so much fun doesn’t actually build anything worth looking at or reading.  What it does is harden the viewer/reader to the point that you have to go ever further out to build ever more heretical visions and create ever more outrageous shocks, which then become the status quo.

The thought that leapt out of my brain right then was "And this is why we now have deviant freaks putting dildos on a string and calling it 'art'.  Because they've torn down what was beautiful and don't have the intelligence, creativity or courage to make anything beautiful".

When's the last time you were really excited about a new artist?

Just saw the Boise State score

And found out that there's some kid named Rypien is now their QB after the starter broke his ankle.

Rypien, Rypien.....

??????

And this Rypien kid IS from Spokane, which is Mark Rypien's old stomping grounds....

Ah, apparently it's his nephew.  And apparently he's been giving his nephew some lessons, eh?

OK, this is disgusting

Some CongressCritter rushed to drink from Pope Francis' water glass after he left.

On the other hand, that's better than all the media rushing to drink from Obama's water glass.  But still - the Pope isn't divine, folks.  The Pope isn't God.  He doesn't give the water any special holiness just because he drank from the glass.

And on top of all that, it's disgusting.

Stop treating the Pope like a deity.  He's just a man.  He's a Bishop; the Bishop of Rome, to be exact.  The water from his glass isn't any holier than the water in my glass, and treating him as if his touch somehow makes water holy goes against the protocols of the Catholic Church.

OhPleaseOhPleaseOhPleaseOhPlease

LET THIS BE TRUE!  PLEASE LET THIS BE TRUE!

Speaker John A. Boehner, under intense pressure from conservatives in his party, will resign one of the most powerful positions in government and give up his House seat at the end of October, throwing Congress into chaos as it tries to avert a government shutdown.

This is one-half of what needs to happen.  Now that Turtle-faced Turd in the Senate, Mitch "I love sucking Obama's cock" McConnell, needs to get his ass fired.

Would would you do?

A post over at Rural Revolution brought the question "What would you do if you won the lottery?"

Of course, like Mrs. Lewis I'd have to play the lottery in order to win it.  But, what would I do?

#1 with a bullet:  Pay off debt.  Be debt free, because that is true freedom.
#2:  Invest, invest, invest.  Stocks.  IRAs.  Gold.  Real Estate.  Especially things that give me dividends on a monthly basis.
#3:  Throw one hell of a party for family and close friends. A one time deal.  Open bar, good cigars.
#4:  Buy my brother a house.  Family first.
#5:  Open up the business that the Mrs. and I want to open, and work my ass off in a job that I love.  And that's the real kicker.

Humans are meant to work.  If you don't work, you die.  Some people die internally, where their souls just wither away.  Some people just flat out die.  I've known far too many military folks who retired, and less than a year later were in their grave.  If you don't have purpose in your life, you decay. I fully plan on working until the day they carry me out of my house feet first.  Oh sure, I'll have time for reading and hunting and cigars and scotch after a successful hunt, but I'll have a job until I'm called by God to whatever my eternal reward might be.

Just sitting around on your ass leads to an early death.  I'd rather be productive in some form or fashion, even if it's just cleaning up around the old church while I'm in my 90's.  Or collecting eggs from the hen house and driving them to a neighbor who needs them.  It's not about bringing in a paycheck, it's about keeping your soul alive and well.

Dear Pope Francis

Please take your calls for the "distribution of wealth" and go back to Argentina.  What you are calling for is THEFT.  It is THEFT, born out of ENVY, and it is a SIN.  You are calling for people to SIN against their neighbors in the service of your Marxist ideology.

Pope Francis, you are a disgrace to the papal seat and the Bishopric of Rome.  You need to resign for the good of the Church, and let someone better, smarter and more capable replace you.

And this is by design

Remember, the Left hates the US Constitution.  The Left hates the rule of law that prevents them from exerting their power over the huge swath of America that wants to be left alone.  So, how can you destroy that check on their power?

Bring in non-Americans to vote for you?  Sure, that'll work.  That's why they're so hellbent on granting Amnesty to all the border-hopping wetbacks who come from socialist countries, and who will vote for socialist policies.  But when you start inviting in everybody, you cannot control who will come in.  And those people who come in might not be who or what you want to replace the Constitution.

According to the just-released survey of Muslims, a majority (51%) agreed that “Muslims in America should have the choice of being governed according to shariah.”  When that question was put to the broader U.S. population, the overwhelming majority held that shariah should not displace the U.S. Constitution (86% to 2%). …
Even more troubling, is the fact that nearly a quarter of the Muslims polled believed that, “It is legitimate to use violence to punish those who give offense to Islam by, for example, portraying the prophet Mohammed.”
The thing about Sharia - if the muslims around you want to live under sharia, and you do not, that's too bad.  Either live, or be subjected, because that's how Islam operates.  It's a brutal political scheme disguised as a religion.

So, given that pResident Putt-Putt wants to bring in thousands of even more of his ideological brethren from Syria, I can foresee a future in this country where the urban areas contain sharia courts, where entire neighborhoods are controlled by the kiddie-diddling followers of a pedophile prophet, while the well-armed rural areas continue to follow the US Constitution.

Of course, given that Obama just handed Iran nukes (with the aide and help from GOP leadership) the actual Constitution, that piece of parchment in a museum in D.C., probably won't exist anymore by the time I'm dead.  What with the vaporization and all.

Anyways, I don't mean to be all cheery and happy on you today.  And to be honest there's a silver lining to every cloud, right?  When Iran starts to vaporize US cities with their Obama-nukes, hopefully they'll detonate one right in the middle of LA, thus wiping this cancerous tumor off of America permanently.

Hey, they voted for Obama, they deserve whatever they get.

It's their CULTURE, don't you see....

US Military told to look the other way while Afghan Muslims do what Afghan Muslims do:  Rape children.  This is the Obama Administration's policy, folks.  This ain't GWB's policy, this is OBAMA'S.

It seems that Obama, much like the anti-GamerGate crowd, prefers their allies to be pedophiles and perverts.

This makes me very very sad

And also pisses me off.

Rachelle Bond appears the epitome of the “special interest” that the Occupy movement avoided talking about but ultimately represented. She subsisted off welfare, with speculation rampant about whether she kept collecting checks after the death of her daughter. She lived in Section 8 housing provided by the government. Before her boyfriend took away her third child, the state took away Rachelle Bond’s first and second to raise them for her—or at least secure people who loved kids more than crack to do so. Rachelle Bond’s interest in Occupy succeeding appears something akin to Lockheed Martin’s interest in the defense budget exploding.

Now see folks, here's where I explain that I may not have ever been on welfare, but I've been poor enough to have welfare folks as my neighbors.

A huge, huge number of welfare folks are much like Rachelle Bond.  This is the dirty little secret that the Left doesn't want you to know.  They want to raise the hue and cry about poor, starving waifs and those just "down on their luck" who need help.  The actual number of people who NEED Welfare because they don't have any other options is a hell of a lot smaller than the number of people ON Welfare.  Way too many of them are just like Rachelle Bond - parasitic druggies who live off of society while sleeping, smoking, snorting and whoring their entire pathetic life away.

Oh, and they vote.  They always vote for more of your money to go into their coffers.  Rachel Bond was an Obama voter, folks.  I guarantee it.  I'd bet my paycheck on it, with the caveat that she may have voted for someone in the Communist Party USA instead, only because they offered to take even MORE money away from the productive and give to the parasites.

Does it suck that Rachelle Bond is a worthless crack whore?  Yes, yes it does.  Should we pull money away from some guy raising a family and give it to Bond so that she can continue being a crack whore on the taxpayer's dollar?  Nope.  Not just no, but fuck no with cheese.

Will Rachelle Bond die if she gets kicked off of Welfare.  Probably.  She's so toxic that her own family doesn't want her around.  But that is not a good enough reason to keep funding her crack whore lifestyle.  If she dies, use her as an example of who and what not to be.  But she shouldn't be receiving one damn dime of my tax money.

And neither should the rest of the crack whores on welfare.

Is it satire? Yes.

But still....

Make-A-Wish Foundation helps Dying Vet get Day of Attention from VA.

Ex-Navy Petty Officer Eric Powell has received mostly bad news since discovering he had terminal cancer 16 months ago. But thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Powell had a very good day Monday, as the charity known for San Francisco’s Batkid adventure helped Powell achieve his dream of getting any attention at all from the Department of Veterans Affairs.
“All I really wanted was to talk to a live person, instead of endless menus and ‘hang up and try again later’ messages,” Powell said. “Well, Make-a-Wish accomplished that, and a whole lot more!” he added, with a gigantic smile.
Powell, 26, of Port Angeles,Wash., was diagnosed in mid-2014 with an aggressive form of thyroid cancer. He worked on nuclear reactors on Navy ships and is believed to have exceeded his Roentgen exposure after participating in the US response to the Fukushima nuclear disaster in Japan.
“We normally only work with children,” said Make-A-Wish spokesman Charlie Herndon. “But Eric’s faith that the country he served so nobly would not ignore or betray him was so childlike in its naivete that we decided we could make an exception.”

I'm going to add them to the blogroll.

My father always dispensed wisdom

And often, I in my youth ignored it for the time being.  But much of it stuck, including the little nugget that you should surround yourself with the kind of people you want to be.  It's a little twist on the "You're known by the company you keep" wisdom.

So what brings this up?  I was reading over at John C. Wright's blog, and came across this paragraph:

(I note in passing that back when I was an atheist, neither did my fellow atheists and I ask for help from strangers when we suffered, nor did we volunteer to help, nor was their any help to give. Atheism is a cold universe, and there is only cold comfort there. Even if God should turn out to be a dream and a delusion, sharing even an imaginary warmth is an act of love and goodfellowship is better than the real coldheartedness godlessness produces.)
I think that I would enjoy being around Mr. Wright very much, if only for the education I would receive in the proper use of the English language.

More than that through is the cold hard truth encompassed by that statement up above.  Even if God were a dream instead of a reality, I would much prefer to live with that dream than live in a world where nobody even cares about God.  I've seen those worlds, by the way, and they're not pleasant or pretty places.

The Rise of the Sexbot

OK, so that's a little tongue in cheek there, but it's an actual thing apparently.  And Milo Yana...  Yianooupppou...  That Milo guy from Breitbart says that women should fear it for more than the obvious reasons.

Women were told by feminists that they could “have it all” — the career, the husband, the kids and the book club. But it was a lie. What they’ve ended up with instead is a tiny apartment in an “up and coming” bit of town, friends they hate, a string of disastrous and emotionally unfulfilling past relationships and a cat.
Had the relations between the sexes been healthier today, there wouldn’t be much call for sexbots to get in the way. Women already had the upper hand, sexually. They had what men wanted. There’s a reason the Ashley Madison leak showed that the site was over 90 per cent male.
But gender relations in the West are at their worst for fifty years, possibly more, which is why popular men’s bloggers are now asking whether sexbots will replace women entirely. The consensus seems to be: for some men, yes, totally. For other men, they will become a masturbation tool. A few “alphas” and players at the top will be able to bang their way around the entire female population, which will be comprised of ever more neurotic, backstabbing and insane behaviour.

It's pretty simple - Men need to be wanted.  Feminism essentially tells women that they don't need one of those stinking, knuckledragging, sexist, misogynist neanderthals in their life.  And so the women who swallow that lie tend to eject the men from their lives, either deliberately or through their behaviors.  And the men leave.

Because men can still get a level of camaraderie from other men.  That's why there were so many men's clubs of various types for years.  Athletic clubs, political clubs, gentleman's clubs (before the term was corrupted to it's modern definition).  Even today, there's recreational sports leagues all over the country, as well as thousands of informal get-togethers that are pretty much male dominated.  Men can leave, and still find a way to be happy.

Women can not.

Sorry ladies.  Milo is right on this.  Men can always find ways to attain status that doesn't include a woman.  And yes, women can attain status on their own as well, but for what?  What, exactly, does a woman want?  She wants it all, of course.  She swallowed the lie that she could have it all, and now she wants it all, but once a woman has swallowed the "have it all" lie it's almost impossible for them to learn what men have known for millennia -

You can't have it all.  You never could.

The question is, what are you willing to live without?  Men seem to be willing to live without a long-term female companion these days, because they don't want to subject themselves to yet another feminist Marxist who's internalized the message of "all men are evil scum who must be subjugated.  Why put up with that crap when you can have a sex-bot made up to look like Scarlett Johansson?  All the sex without any of the mind-numbing, headache inducing, liberal Feminazi crap.  More to the point, men can and will alway find a woman to have sex with in one form or another.  But as we're seeing, women cannot always find a decent man to share their life with.

And, well, they only have themselves to blame for that.

Doritos goes full-on Social Justice

Morons.  "OH LOOK!  Rainbow colored chips in a rainbow bag for full on gayness!"

Uh, no.  This kind of crap makes me sick.  A snack chip shouldn't become political.  But it has, and it's disgusting.

Piss off, Doritos.

It's Constitution Day in the USA!

I only wish we had a government that followed it.

The establishment still doesn't get it

You can go read the piece which whines about how such great candidates are getting lost in silliness if you wish.  But the GOP and it's enablers still don't get it.

Trump's approval, such as it is, is due entirely to the fact that he is not of the GOP.  That's why the attacks of "HE'S NOT CONSERVATIVE!!!  EEEK  EEEEEEEK!" aren't working.  The same people saying that are the same people who gave us John Boehner and Mitch McConnell, who have worked as hard as possible to give pResident Obama everything he wants.

"He's so rude!  He's mean!  He's un-presidential!"  At this point, politeness is a handicap when dealing with the Democrats.  The Left has called conservatives Nazis, terrorists, hostage-takers, tea baggers (that's still a favorite one today), racists, sexist, misogynists, homophobic, red-necked, sister-humping Jesus freaks.  And then we're told "Oh, but you have to be polite!"

No.  Fuck you.  And fuck that.

Every accusation that the GOP and it's enablers can throw at Trump don't stick because they don't hold water, coming as they do from a bunch of back-stabbing, corrupt, power-hungry, greedy, anti-Constitutional big-government statists.  Because that is what the GOP has become.  And they have shit all over their voting base in order to become what they are.

Well, guess where a lot of those people went?  Yep.  Trump supporters.  They already know the GOP hates them, despises them, holds them in absolute contempt.  The GOP made that clear year after year after year, and nothing has changed.  So tell me, just what attack from the GOP do you think could be successful at this point?

Yeah.  None.  Which is why Trump continues to rise in the polls, no matter how much the GOP attacks him.

Can't wait to see the debate tonight.

Raping the children that Europeans don't want to rape

Bring in the pedophile followers of a pedophile prophet, and look at what happens.

A little 7 year old girl was brutally raped by a Muslim migrant from North Africa.
She was with her mother in the park and her mother was only a few meters away from here, when a Muslim man dragged her into the bush, hold her mouth shut and raped the little girl brutally. After he finished the rape, he let the girl go and left the crime scene running. It happened quick that the mother did not even notice anything. She first realized it when the seven year old girl came crying to her.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why you should never, ever, ever let large populations of muslims into your country and/or community.  This is what they do back in the Middle East, and they won't stop doing it just because they move to where you are.  Geography is not some magical antidote for centuries of brutal behavior against women and children.

Raping the kids Americans don't want to rape

This time in Kentucky.  A border-jumper was trying to carry away a six year old girl.  And during the investigation, it was discovered that this border-jumper was having sex with the twelve-year-old cousin of the six year old girl.

Let that fact simmer in your brain for a little bit.

I think the folks in Kentucky were a little too polite.  They held the illegal alien pedophile until the cops showed up and collected him.  There are parts of the country where he would have just....

disappeared.

Don't read this if you're not feeling well

Because it'll just make you sick.  If you want to know what side of the current culture war needs to be exposed to sunlight, just take a look at what side holds a pedophile in high esteem.

Oh, a tranny pedophile who dabbled in White Nationalism.  Who goes on online rage-feats accusing people of racism and pedophilia.

Remember, when a Leftist accuses you of some horrible action, it's most likely projection.

Have you forgotten?

Most of America has.  Most of America doesn't want to be reminded that there's evil in the world.

But evil does exist.

It never rests, and it won't end until the second coming of Jesus Christ.  Which, according to most of the folks I know (Crazy Bob on the corner not counting) is quite a ways away.

Looking at the country today, I don't see what I saw fourteen years ago.  I don't see that resolve.  Maybe it's still there.  I don't know.

All I can do is be prepared.  But I will also be prepared to watch people die, as the sheep go back to sleep willfully listening to the lullaby from a wolf and ignoring the desperate howls of the sheepdog.

Saw my first "Bernie 2016" sticker the other day

Thanks for self-identifying that you're an idiot.

Colbert proves he's still a lame, Left-wing hack

But we knew that already.  With John Stewart retiring from taking his talking points from the White House, it appears that Colbert has taken over the responsibilities of spewing whatever crap the Democrats want spewed.  This is not a shock.  Not at all.  This is what they do.  It's who they are.

For those lucky folks

Who have never been in muslim countries, or who have never experienced large groups of muslims - you must learn from the experiences of others.  If you do not, then you will be forced to learn these experiences first-hand.

I saw an elderly Italian woman in a car that was surrounded by the immigrants. They pulled her by the hair out of the car and wanted to use it to go to Germany. They tried to topple the bus i was in. They threw feces at us, banging on the door for the driver to open it, spat on the glass. My question is- for what purpose? How do they want to assimilate in Germany? For a moment, i felt like in a warzone. I really feel sorry for these people, but if they would reach Poland – I do not think they would receive any understanding from us.

People have grown so comfortable and used to the Rule of Law that they cannot comprehend the fact that muslims, by and large, do not follow the Rule of Law.  Not in their own countries, and not when they move to your country.  They take what they want, and if you do not fight them for it, they consider you weak, and will continue to abuse you until you leave or die.  Think of the gang-rapes and honor killings as "cultural enhancement".

Why Trump Exists

From a column by Ben Shapiro:

Trump is a product of a conservatism-less Republicanism, prepared for and championed by the intellectual elites who told us to ignore Mitt Romney’s creation of Romneycare and Sen. John McCain’s campaign finance reform, who told conservatives to shut up and get in line, who explained that conservatives had to throw over Sen. Ted Cruz and his government shutdowns in favor of Sen. Mitch McConnell and his pathological inability to take a hard stand against President Obama using the tools at his disposal.

When I mentioned the other day that National Review had decided to go after the Trump Supporters, I should have pointed out Jonah Goldberg's piece.  Shapiro starts off with Goldberg's litmus test, which was curiously absent back in 2012.

National Review has been attacking Trump and his supporters with a huge amount of vitriol for some time now.  I still get National Review because my father keeps renewing my subscription, and I haven't the heart to ask him to stop; he thinks he's doing me some good, and it's not much skin off my nose to skim through the articles.  But National Review hasn't exactly been a "conservative" magazine for some time now.  They've purged any authors that might generate some controversy (Mark Steyn, John Derbyshire, a long list of others) and have been solidly behind the GOP establishment in just about every edition.  It's telling that my first look into the magazine is for James Lileks' one-pager of snark.  The articles?  Meh.  Maybe they're good, maybe they're not.  Most often I find myself wondering just who the hell is paying for the crap they put out.

I don't think Trump is a conservative.  In fact, I know that Trump is not a conservative.  But I also know that if you wanted to win the 2016 election, you do NOT attack his supporters as stupid, "un-conservative", or any other negative adjective.  I don't think Trump will get the nomination.  But after it's all settled and done, I want his supporters to vote for my guy.  And I highly doubt that will happen this time around.  Too much damage has been done, both by assholes like Jonah Goldberg and by the GOP itself, with Obama ass-kissers like John Boehner and Mitch McConnell in charge.

Things might turn around before Nov 2016, but as of right now I'm about to throw my hands up and walk away from the entire lost cause.  The GOP is being run by Democrats and various other big-government statist shit-slurpers, and if they get their guy (BUSH!) on the ticket, there is not a single real difference between how Jeb would govern and how Hillary would govern.

Short of a Ted Cruz nomination (which the GOP would hate, and if you don't think they're working against Cruz like mad then you haven't been watching) I don't see too many other candidates that can unite what used to be a massive voting base.

Stole it from Insty

Because it needs to be repeated.  A huge part of the reason we are in this position as a country is because the media wanted their Lord, God and King Obama, the Communist Christ, to be anointed emperor and rule over this country.  They got what they wanted, and they're doing everything in their power to protect their Marxist Messiah, and will continue to do so for as long as they live.  Don't expect their narrative to change when he leaves office.  His legacy is entwined with theirs. and these people worship Obama so strongly that I suspect they have a sexual fetish for him.  Especially the male journalists.

Sunday, September 06, 2015

Soooooooo.....

Apparently the desire to insult and drive away huge chunks of the voting base is strong within all elements of the GOP establishment, as National Review Online seems to have jumped on to the hate-on-all-Trump-supporters bandwagon.

Yeah.  Like that'll help you win in 2016.

At this point, we're going to be stuck with Bush 3 (the enLiberaling!) vs. the syphilitic corpse of Hillary Clinton, and Clinton will still win.  Not just because of voter fraud, but because the GOP has finally done everything they can do to make sure that none of their voting base wants to vote for them at all.

And then Boehner, McConnell and the syphilitic corpse of Hillary Clinton will continue to screw this country over.  Because that's what statists do.

Illegal aliens

Murdering the Americans that Americans don't want to murder.

Oh, and recruiting Americans into the MS-13 gang that Americans don't want to recruit for.

Detectives from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office announced Saturday morning that they have one juvenile and two adults in custody in connection with the killing of a Sterling high school student Friday morning.
Danny Centeno Miranda, 17, was a student at Park View High School. He was gunned down in a neighborhood not far from the school’s campus, according to police. Schools in the area were subsequently put on “lock out mode” throughout the morning.
.....
Police have also arrested two men involved with the shooting who are not U.S. citizens.  Henry Ernesto Dominguez Vasquez, 20, and Juan Moises Aguirre Zelaya, 18, both of Sterling, have been charged with possession of a firearm by a person who is not a citizen of the United States and accessory after the fact.
.....
Centeno Miranda transferred to the high school in January 2014 and officials believe that he came to the area after leaving El Salvador, says Wayde Byard, spokesman for Loudoun County Public Schools.

Folks, I'm just going to lay this out to you here - The people flooding across our borders illegally are not the kind of people we want here, OK?  Yeah, there are some good folks in there.  There are also people who murder 17 year-old kids for not joining their gang, because that's what they did back in Mexico or El Salvador, and that's why they had to flee from where they came from.  And now they're doing the same thing now, here in America.

Light jog

Was able to go on a run this morning.  Nothing too heavy, but after the past few days of having crud in my chest, the ability to go for a run is a joyful thing for me.  The dogs were ecstatic.

The solution? Just walk away

Take a gander at these muslim "migrants" throwing away food and water that people are trying to give them.

I want you to think about the diseased, perverted mind that would take a gift, a life-sustaining gift, and throw it away.

You know what you do with those people?  You let them stay on the train.  And you walk away.

Just walk away.  That's it.  You cannot help these people.  You can go home and pray for them, but other than that, there's nothing else you can do.

Let them sit there, with no food and no water.  It would be a darn shame for all those young, military-aged men to not be able to invade whatever country is offering them hope.

Still got some crud in my chest

I'm better, I have a bit more energy, but I'm not healthy.  This is getting annoying.

Recognizing that guy

You know, you're browsing the interwebz, checking out posts, and you come across a photo of someone you've dealt with before, and you're all "What?  What did he do now?"

Defending pedophilia, that's what.

Phil Sandifer is one of the lead CHORFs:  Cliquish, Holier-Than-Thou, Obnoxious, Reactionary Fanatics.  They're the people who burned down the Hugo Awards rather than let a wrongfan win one of them.  He's one of the people re-writing the rules to make sure that wrongfans never get heard again.

He's also a proud progressive Marxist.  Who defends a pedo.  Go figure.

Seriously, I'm wondering just how screwed up a guy can get, and Sandifer keeps digging deeper and deeper into crazy-land.

blech

Woke up this morning tired, sore, and feeling like crap.  We'll see how I do through the day.  Coffee seemed to help.

On a side note, if you're tired of watching the Left win in the culture wars, to buy SJWs Always Lie and learn how to fight back.

A tale of two post headlines

Option A:  Mentally Ill Lesbian hates "totally useless" fathers

Option B:  How Nature Says Do Not Touch.

You can find the link at that hyperlink I posted.  The bottom line is that you should never, ever EVER try to procreate with a feminist.  You're male, and feminists hate males, period.

Yet another mangina opens their pie-hole and spews....

Well, I'll let you figure out what a mangina spews out.  This ought to help you with your deliberations.

OMG!  A WOMANZ WUZ HURT AT A BASEBALL GAME!!!!  BAN ALL THE THINGS!!!!!  SOMEONE FELL AT A BASEBALL GAME!!!!!!  BAN IT!!! BAAAAAAAAAAAAN IT!!!!!!!

Hello, douche-bag idiots?  It's a BASEBALL GAME!  Things fly at a game!  Tiny, leather-wrapped balls fly at 90+ towards someone holding a piece of hardwood who tries to hit that ball.  Physics being what they are, at some point, one thing or another is going to fly into the stands.

If you don't want to take the risk of being hit by one of those flying objects, then DO NOT PURCHASE THE MOST EXPENSIVE SEATS IN THE STADIUM!  YOU WORTHLESS, JOY-DESTROYING MORONS!

"Oh, but someone fell from some high place and now all high places must be banned or covered in padding!"

No, this is called evolution.  The strong survive.  The "strong", in this case, being the people who did NOT lean over a railing that protects them from falling multiple stories to their death.

Call me heartless if you wish.  But if you die or get injured at a baseball game you didn't deserve to be there in the first place.  Plain and simple.  The chances of you dying at a baseball game are probably lower than the chances of you being raped by a shark while getting struck by lightning.  Stop demanding that everyone else be inconvenienced just because you're too stupid to breath without constant instruction.

Now see, this right here

Is what makes me not spend money on some folk's books.

George Rape Rape Martin can kiss my ass.  And all the people who schmooze with him?  Well, they can kiss my ass as well.

I don't give money to my enemies.

How Donald Trump is beating the GOP like a drum

He's using illegal immigration, the one topic that the GOP is running away from like their lives depended on it.  Which is one of the stupidest things they've done recently.  And that's saying something, given how stupid the GOP acts on a regular basis.

Victor Davis Hanson lays out how illegal aliens have finally turned off the American Public.  Living in LA county, I'm kind of in the thick of illegal aliens, although there's enough infrastructure here that the strain of millions of illegal criminals gets spread out.  In the more rural areas of California the strain is higher.

Nationally, I think this is gaining steam because illegal aliens from Mexico are now all over the USA, not just confined to the border states.  When I lived in Wisconsin there was a meat-packing plant that was shut down because they were using illegals.  I remember lots of local folks being rather upset about that - those were good paying jobs, but they were getting undercut by illegal aliens who had snuck up from Mexico.  Or they'd been snuck up by people who wanted to pay half the wages they normally paid.  I lived in a small town; you could pick out the illegal alien houses by the amount of trash in the yard and by the dis-repair the houses fell into.

Houses in Wisconsin die if you don't do upkeep every year.  Apparently this was not a lesson anyone had taught them.

I think the biggest problem people have with illegal aliens is the fact that we're told if we don't accept them, that somehow we're the bad guys.  We have to accept the fact that they broke the law.  We have to accept the fact that they bring their culture here and demand that we adjust to their way of life, when they're the ones breaking the law to be here.

What laws do I get to break?  Can I pick and choose, or is there a set list of laws that anyone can just break without consequence?  Ah, there's the catch, see......  I have white-ish skin and I speak English, so I don't get to break any laws.  Only other people get to break the law so that they can have free medical care and free housing and all the other benefits that they give the poor widdle illegals.

One standard for me, and one standard for them.  THAT is what people are sick of.  We're sick of law-abiding citizens being told that we're racists for wanting people to follow the law.

Donald Trump got that.  He's using that.  And when the topic came up, the GOP did what they do best; they ran away, hid under the bed, sucked their thumb and cried.  Trump did the opposite.  He came out swinging, he didn't apologize, and he punched back.

Folks, when he threw that loud-mouthed asshole Jorge Ramos out of his press conference, he probably gained ten points of support.  Do you think the GOP learned any lessons from that?  Nope.  No they did not.

I hear Jeb has lost three of his campaign guys.  He was supposed to be coronated at the GOP convention, now he's just an also-ran to Trump.  Nothing gives me greater joy than to see the Donor Class get their ass handed to them by someone they hate.  And they do hate Trump right about now.  The GOP went and did their best to rig the game so Jeb would win the nomination, and now he might not even come in THIRD.  He wouldn't have had a chance nationally, BTW.  He may have won Florida, but if he managed to secure the nomination he was going to lose to anyone the Democrats put up.  He would lose because A) The GOP base, or as it's rapidly becoming, the former GOP base, is tired of giving their votes to a bunch of big-government assholes who promise to be conservative but turn around and kiss Democrat ass the moment they get to Washington D.C.  John Boehner and Mitch McConnell have given Obama everything he ever wanted, and in doing so they have damaged the GOP far beyond was Obama dared to hope for.  There are huge excuse me YUUUUUUUUUGE swathes of Trump supporters who support him not for any real policy he's put forth, but because they can use him as a wrecking ball to demolish what's left of the GOP.  They have been betrayed year after year after year after year, and they're finally just going to blow up the party that keeps betraying them.

Oh, and B) Jeb would lose because nobody wants another Bush in office, except for the Donor Class who want to keep the gravy train rolling for themselves.

And C) The Democrats have their vote plantation, and they'll get 40% of the national vote no matter who they throw up there.  The fact that there is still national support for Hillary Clinton right now shows that there's nothing the Left won't vote for.  Satan could run on the Donk ticket and he'd get 40% of the vote guaranteed.  James Carville and Paul Begala would be on CNN talking about his upsides vis a vis the GOP nominee.  "I don't see how the GOP can honestly object to sacrificing babies to the Father of Lies!  Do they want a woman to be punished with a baby?  What kind of heartless jerks refuse to give reproductive choice to a rape victim!"

Anyway, I need more coffee.  Blah.

Small Changes

Set up a new smaller blogroll for all those authors out there that I either linked to, or needed to link to.  More will be added as I see fit.

Your daily dose of Obama Voters

"Wrong hood, b***h!"

I can expect "White Lives Matter" protests from conservatives in 3... 2....

Oh who am I kidding, we have jobs.  We can't be out there protesting all day, we have to make sure that those welfare recipients can continue to stomp on innocent people who accidentally walk into the wrong neighborhood.

I like fried okra

But a co-worker just gave me about two pounds of the fresh stuff, and I have no earthly idea what else to do with it.  I mean, fried okra is the bomb, but I don't need that much.

So c'mon, you Southern gents, give me your ideas.  The Ragin' Mrs. and I are thinking about cutting off the tops and filling them up like jalapeño poppers.  I want to cut them in half, stuff them with sausage and make little tasty boats out of them.  Anybody got any good recipes?

The Virginia shootings

Other people have said enough about it.  Entire digital reams have been written about it.  I'll let all those folks get into the deep analysis.  My take away?

A black, gay, Obama supporting Democrat shoots two white people, and the Left says we need more gun control.

Yeah.  Like that'll help.

Too damn hot to think yesterday

You shouldn't be soaked in sweat just from doing the dishes.

I must get one of these for my parents

They have the electric fly swatter, now they need the Bug A-Salt Rifle.  Mom would giggle.  Dad wouldn't put it down for days.

Rules are for the little people

Lois Lerner had another email account under the name of "Toby Miles".

There should be a never-ending stream of journalists asking her who "Toby Miles" is.  But since the Democrat Media Complex exists in order to protect their political masters rather than report on actual news, she'll be uninterrupted until the story just goes away.

Meanwhile, if I had not one but TWO illegal email accounts that I was using to conduct official business, I'd already be spending my days at the Disciplinary Barracks of Fort Leavenworth.  But then, I'm not a politically-connected fascist with Marxist friends in high places.

Ragin' Dave's Quote of the Day, FWP Edition.

Found in the comments here, by the irreplaceable Francis Porretto:

1. Leftists have no moral constraints and love power above all things.
2. The amoral power-seeker has a huge advantage over others in the acquisition of power.
3. Any organization that has any sort of rules of membership or operation is a power-concentrating entity.
4. Thus, Leftists will seek to dominate any and every organization, no matter how small, if only to keep anyone else from doing so…and their natural advantage will guarantee them eventual success.

Which follows up his post regarding Conquest's Laws:

  1. Everyone is conservative about what he knows best.
  1. Any organization not explicitly right-wing sooner or later becomes left-wing.
  1. The simplest way to explain the behavior of any bureaucratic organization is to assume that it is controlled by a cabal of its enemies.

Read both.  It's worth it.

Dinner last night

Ground my own beef.  Made burger patties.  Cooked up some Black Forest bacon.  Drained pan, cooked patties in the little bacon grease left over.  Flipped patties, added a good Irish cheese.  Added pickles.

Plated burger on donuts left over from church.

Oh yes, it was damn good.

Yes, I ran this morning.  Why do you ask?

I had hoped

That the Leftists cared more about good writing than their political ideology.

I know, I was a fool.  It was but a faint hope, but yet I hoped it.

Looking at the voting totals for the Hugo Awards, the Leftists burned them down rather than allow anyone else to win one who wasn't of the correct political persuasion.  They used scorched earth tactics to make sure nobody outside of their politically approved group got an award.

So be it.  The rules are set for 2016, where "No Award" may very well take every category.

Earworm

Heard this song over the radio, can't get it out of my head.

Even though it's kind of a mellow tune, this is one rocking song.  Watching the live versions out there you can see the musicians just kind of take off and go crazy.

On that whole "Ashley Madison" hack

Ummmm...  first up, you shouldn't be cheating on your spouse.

Second of all, you shouldn't be entering your CREDIT CARD INFO into a WEBSITE so that you can cheat on your spouse.

That some folks did both, and now are getting caught up in the hack of that website, well....  Karma's a bitch, ain't it?

Daddy's got a new pair of shoes

Well, erm...  yep, I do.  I've been running in minimalist shoes for a while now, so I finally tried out a pair of Vibram Five-Finger shoes.

They're.....  interesting.  I have to work to get my toes into their respective areas, but once they're on they stay on.  I did my hill running today, and other than having fabric between my toes they felt pretty darn good.

I don't know if I'd spend the $100+ for these shoes all the time.  I got my pair for $50 off of Woot, so I didn't pay full price.  We'll see if I end up liking them more than my regular running shoes.

If nothing else, I think they'll make awesome hiking shoes.

Another Illegal Alien

Killing the Americans that Americans don't want to kill.

Hyde was in the country illegally from Belize in Central America and awaiting a court hearing as an illegal immigrant, having crossed the Texas border earlier this year, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said.

Don't worry, Jeb Bush says it's an act of love, or something.

One of the nice things

About the Taurus Millennium is that it throws the brass pretty much in the same place every time.  Picking up brass was easy, because it was all in the same spot.  Didn't travel too far.

My .45 will throw brass in just about a 180 degree arc to the right.  Don't know why.

Riddle me this

How can a government force a dairy to label it's milk as "imitation" because it has not added anything to it?

Today’s comes to us from Florida, where the Ocheesee Creamery is being forced to dump gallons upon gallons of good, natural skim milk because the state is requiring the business to label its good, natural skim milk “imitation” because they haven’t added anything to it.

The people responsible for this travesty need to be tarred, feathered, and hung from the nearest lamp-post.  It really is that simple.

Five Truths

about Illegal Aliens that the GOP must accept.

Or die.  Either ways good for me.

There’s a yuuuuuuuuge upside for the first sane GOP candidate who becomes known for taking a line on illegal aliens that is tough but fair – with the fairness being to the American citizens who have been stuck paying the price in money and blood during decades of elite apathy.

There is no reason for any GOP candidate to suck up to people who's first act in this country was to break the law that the rest of us have to follow.  None.  Period.

Done driving

We put a little extra road time in today, because quite honestly the KOA we had our reservations at was approximately 2.1 km away from the surface of the sun.

At least, that's what it felt like when we pulled in.  That was our fault.  We should have known better. The only people hooked up at that place were folks with RVs that had A/C units.  Had we arrived half an hour earlier we would have upgraded to a cabin with A/C, but it didn't happen.  So we cooked dinner, ate, and ran.  That's more driving than I wanted to do, but at least I'm at home with a cigar and a glass of bourbon.

Listened to lots of news on the radio.  Will give thoughts once I have them collected.

While Traveling

The wife and I are trying to keep our budget from blowing out due to the cost of staying in hotels at night.  So we're camping every night.  I hadn't even thought of KOA, but damned if they don't do the trick.  And it's typically about a quarter of the cost of a hotel.

Yeah, you have to set up a tent.  Deal with it.  One-fourth the cost.  And I'm on a budget.  I'm happy.

The Northwest is burning

Idaho is covered in smoke from the top to the bottom of the state.  It's unreal.

Many of these fires were started by lightning strikes in hard-to-reach areas.  But many of them continue because the forests they are burning have been so mismanaged under by FedGov and the eco-freaks who control it.  I've gone into the damage that the eco-freaks agenda does to the national forests; you can search for all the different posts if you want.  But we're seeing the evidence and damage in real time right now.

They paved over the fields

Over a decade ago I wrote a little post about a woman named Patti Gora, who was leading lawsuits to stop the grass seed farmers from burning their fields after harvest.  Burning the fields was the only real way to clear out any weeds and prevent their harvest from becoming contaminated.  Eliminate burning, and you eliminate the farmers.

Jacklin Seed shut down their facility a while ago.  The building is for sale.  The eco-freaks won, and the farmers lost.  So what happened?

The farmers sold their fields to the folks who would buy them.  And those folks were the property developers from California and New York who were using the eco-freaks to do their dirty work.  And they build houses upon the miles and miles of prairie, and all that open land was paved over.

Because, you see, the eco-freaks who claimed to love Gaia and hate the pollution of field burning didn't actually give a shit about the environment.  They were bought and paid for shills of the people who wanted that farmland to build houses on.  They have ALWAYS been bought and paid for shills of someone else.

Tell me, if you actually gave a damn about the environment, what would you prefer to have - miles upon miles of prairie and grassland that was burned once a year?  Or miles and miles of paved roads and cars and houses, with fertilizer and petroleum products and other pollutants?

Let this be an abject lesson for anyone who's on the fence, or for anyone who's under attack from the emotion-driven arguments of the eco-freaks.  The people of the eco-freak movement don't know a damn thing about the real environment.  They don't know a damn thing about what's best for the environment.  They are tools, being used by people much smarter then them, to accomplish what those smart people want.

The Rathdrum Prairie is disappearing.  It's being paved over, and that happened because the eco-freaks put the farmers out of business.  This may not have been what the eco-freaks wanted, but it's what their masters wanted, and the masters got what they wanted because the eco-freaks are brainless, weak-minded, spineless simpering maggots.

Patti Gora is still calling herself a "clean air ambassador".  Her unhinged accusations against the grass seed farmers continue to this day.  And she's just as big a tool of her masters now as she was then.  Remember that when someone claims that they just "want the president and Congress to know that the protection of human health is critical to strong communities"

They're full of shit.  They're tools, being used by someone else.

The GOP is screwed

Read this.

And then read this.

Why is Trump still ahead in polls?  Because a huge chunk of former GOP voters are so pissed off at the betrayal of the GOP that they're willing to let things burn down than continue the charade of "representative" government.

We’ll be honest with you Mr. Erikson – Trump could have shot Megyn Kelly in the face on stage and we’d still vote for him. After all… one does not criticize their wrecking ball when it’s going about it’s assigned task. After 2015′s “year of congressional betrayal,” it is patently obvious that this war is no longer about “principles” or “beliefs” – such notions have no proper place when mentioned in the same sentence as “the Republican party.”
The GOP is reaping what it sowed over the past six years.  Or two decades.  Trump is what happens when the GOP alienates so many people that they would prefer to see the destruction of the modern Whig Party rather than suffer through yet another Republicrat.

Potato Cannon

....fired.

I got a spud to fly close to a football field of distance.  We'll see what I can do tomorrow once I start playing around with wadding and other avenues of keeping gas from leaking around the projectile.

It's been dry in the Northwest lately

So consequently, the farmland of the Palouse has been turned into a rather fine dust.  And the winds have picked that dust up and dumped it all over Northern Idaho.

I can feel the grit on my teeth right now.  Although my parent's yard is getting some great topsoil deposited on it.

Profit Margins

Hardcover books sell for what these days...  $20?  $25?

John C. Write responds to a review of his newest book Somewhither (which I'm reading right now, review to follow sometime later).

I am happy to be “shoplifting” under such circumstances: I get paid more than twice my cut of the take had the reader bought this book in hardback.

So he gets more than twice the scratch from a $4.99 purchase on Amazon than he does from a $20 purchase at a brick and mortar store.

Tell me again how Amazon is destroying the book market in this country?  I can't afford $20 for a new book.  I can afford $4.99.  And the author makes over twice what he would normally make when I purchase the $4.99 Kindle book.

Yeesh.

So, the new gun

Took it for it's maiden voyage today.  Put 100 rounds through it.  Please keep in mind that I'm not a gun writer, or a gun reviewer.  I'm just a guy who likes to shoot, so don't expect any chronograph measurements or physics lessons from me.

You can read the specs on it here.  I won't re-hash them.  Here's my initial impression.

It's a steel slide on a polymer frame.  I originally thought that might give it too much "kick" for a small gun.  The grip is textured and contoured to fit your hand.  The grip itself is small-to-medium, but the magazine has a small extention that makes it large enough for my paws to grip.  Without that I wouldn't have purchased the gun, as my pinky would have been hanging off the bottom.  Magazine holds 12 rounds.  Sights are white dot, with the rear sights being adjustable.

I shot the pistol while I was standing with no support.  Hey, I'm in the country.  My target was a cardboard box sitting on a brush pile that I made yesterday.  I figured that if I were to use this gun in a defensive situation, I wouldn't have a bench rest or sandbags.  Ammo was Blazer Brass 115 grain FMJ.

My first ten rounds downrange at 15 feet grouped at 3 inches.  I moved back to 25 feet and could still make a 4 inch group with the second ten round magazine.  My worries about the weight of the slide giving the gun more "kick" was unfounded.  In fact, the recoil was minimal, all things considered.  My .38 Special has more of a kick.  Acquiring the target was easy, and re-acquiring it was quick.  I had no problem getting the gun back on target for a second shot.  I did a number of "double-tap" shots, and while I wasn't as accurate as a single aimed shot all my shots hit within an 8x11 square.

The grip was comfortable; I didn't have to fiddle around or play with my grip in order to get the gun where I wanted it.  It's one of the more natural grips I've found in a pistol, and that's saying something.  My big problem with Glocks is that they just don't fit my hands.  I had no problem with this gun.

All I did right out of the box was wipe off some of the gun grease they had on it.  I gave it a good wipe-down after the range session, and there wasn't much to really clean.  It ran without a hitch right out of the box with no malfunctions or FTF.

Add in the fact that this gun's MSRP is just a hair over $300 - it's a steal.  I've fired guns that cost twice as much that aren't as accurate or as fun to shoot as the Taurus.

All in all, this is a fun gun to shoot.  It's accurate and easy to control, which is really what you want in a carry pistol.  I have a feeling that I'm going to be putting lots of rounds downrange with this gun in the next year or so.

Potato Cannon

Built.

If you have teenaged boys and enjoy watching them make loud noises, this is your book.

I'm letting the glue cure, and I'll be giving it a test run tomorrow.

I am sitting outside

Smoking a Gurkha Beauty, sipping Maker's Mark, and listening to the coyotes yip and howl in the woods.

This is what my life is supposed to be like.

It called to me

Who was I to resist?

So I now have a 9mm to go with my other guns.  I'd been looking for a carry gun for hot climates.  My .45 is nice, but it's a big frame and it prints in light clothing.  The Taurus should work just fine in a climate where I can't throw a sweatshirt or flannel over my t-shirt, but have to rely on much lighter clothing.

The reviews I saw on it were rather complementary, it felt good in my hand, and the sights fit my eyes.  I'll give a report once I run 100 rounds through it.

A new new computer

So, I had gotten a new computer a while back.  MacBook Air.  It's a sweet little job, fires up quick, nice and light.  And then the Ragin' Mrs' computer went Tits up.

Sigh.

As we're doing our reviews and figuring out what she wants, she keeps casting gazes at my MacBook Air.

Fine.  Let's go get one.

Since A) we're not rich, and B) I'm military, we go to AAFES and check out what they have.  MacBook Air?  Nope.  MacBook Pro?  Yep.  Price?  It's on sale, and the price is lower than we would be paying for a new MacBook Air OR a plain MacBook.  By a wide margin.

So she gives me those little eyes....

Anyways, I'm now using my MacBook Pro, while the Mrs. has reformatted my two-month-old MacBook Air and has claimed it for herself.

She's happy.  And the one thing that bugged me about the Air was the lack of a CD/DVD drive, and now I have one.  Plus more memory for my various things.

I'm still traveling.  On holiday, as it were.  Sorry for the light posting, but I'm not at a computer very much right now.

The Debate

I just saw a poll that showed the only politician to improve his standings after the debate is Ted Cruz. The other folks who improved their standings were non-politicians (Fiorina and Carson).

Ya think the GOP is going to listen?

Nah.  Me neither.

No Irish Need Apply

One of the greatest harms of Leftist ideology is the way they inject their politics into everything they do.  Like claiming historical facts never happened just because the group isn't one of the favored victim status groups of today.

All of this would have been written off as a myth if it weren’t for Rebecca Fried, a rising high school freshman—who one of the preeminent scholars on the Irish diaspora in the United States now calls a “hero” and “quite extraordinary”—and who simply couldn’t believe it, either.
Rebecca never set out to prove the thesis wrong. She was just interested in an article her dad brought home from work one day.

You cannot trust any "scientific" information that comes out of a Leftist.  Social Justice Warriors ALWAYS LIE.

As an aside, if you want to know how much the Irish (and Catholics) were hated, look up the Mass Rocks.  The Irish were forbidden by the English from celebrating their faith in their churches.  So they had to say Mass on rocks hidden from view of population centers.  And often, when the Brits would find a priest saying Mass, they would slaughter him and as many of the congregation as they could.

Think about THAT as you ponder how much you're willing to suffer for your faith in America today.

Aaaaaand, Puerto Rico defaulted

You do NOT want this as the 51st state, folks.

Take it from someone who used to live there.  They are not American.  And that's fine.  It's Puerto Rico after all, not Puerto America or American Rico.  But all the same, the Leftist ideology that ran PR into bankruptcy is NOT what we need to gather into the fold.

Let them work it out.  Hell, we already dump massive sums of cash into that island via federal funding.  We don't need to give them more.

This will continue

Until military members are allowed to shoot back.

The Mississippi National Guard says soldiers reported shots fired during a training exercise at Camp Shelby, but no service members were hurt.
The Guard said in a news release Tuesday that the Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center is secure and all personnel accounted for. The news release says the shots were fired from a road near Camp Shelby, but not on the military post’s property.

Give the troops guns.  Let them fight back.  It's what they are TRAINED TO DO ANYWAYS!

The Fifth Planned Parenthood video drops

And it's just as ugly as the rest of them.

Those who defend Planned Parenthood after all the proof that has come out about their actions only confirm their complete and total lack of humanity.  Or a soul.  Or anything that might make them something more than a shell, filled with evil, walking the earth to cause harm to others.

Want

Wantwantwantwantwant.

Ah well.  We just picked up the Ragin' Mrs. a nice little booby trap that fits into her evening bag, so this might have to be item #2 or 3 on the list of things I want to buy.

GOP Establishment: Everything is Fine!

It's all awesomeness with a side of awesome fries!

Except no it's not.  And the GOP is going to run face first into a buzzsaw it created called "pissed off former GOP voters".

Hell, I'm already at that point.  The GOP wants to claim that everything is fine?  Screw them.  They want to tell people to just get in line and vote the way they're told?

Then let me paraphrase Bill Quick:  I will burn your entire corrupt party to the ground and sow the embers with salt.

Brains, hard work, and guts

In short, everything that is missing in the US government these days.

My generation is going to be the "What if" generation.  What if we hadn't wasted money on worthless government programs and instead spent it on worthwhile pursuits....

I have realized

That despite the massive sums of money spent....

All the hype...

All the new talent brought in....

All the promises made.....

I can't watch the Mariners send yet another abysmal season into the record books.  It's too painful.  It's like watching a wounded animal thrash around - you know the poor thing is done for, you know it's going to die. you know there's no saving it, but you lack the capability to put the poor thing out of it's misery.

Could the Mariners just please call the season over and give up?  Oh wait, they did that thirty days ago.

If'n ya want to read some writing

Go read Larry Correia's beat-down of the local sub-moron at the Guardian.

If it weren't for government subsidies, that douchbag at the Guardian would be begging for pennies on the street corner.

And to be honest, that's all he's really good for.

Up at 5, home... well, later...

It's been that kind of a week.  Sorry for the lack of posting.

Jeb Bush gives an interview

In Spanish.  To Telemundo.  Whereupon he promises to pass comprehensive immigration reform.

If this dillweed gets the GOP nomination, I will not vote for him.  Period.  Can someone tell me what the notable differences between President Jeb and Emperor Hillary will be?

Hey bro...

You wanna help me get my new TV home?  Yeah?  Cool!  Let's go get it!

Thanks, bro!

The things you see in LA....

You cannot trust the GOP leadership

Period.  Boehner and McConnell are liars.  Flat out liars, who are working for their lobbyists, corporate interests and Obama, in that order.

There is no real difference in what Mitch McConnell and Harry Reid propose as Senate Majority Leader.  There is no real difference in the legislation they push forth.  There is no real difference in how they conduct business.  The only difference is that Mitch McConnell lies about what he's doing, and offers up amendments that he knows have no chance of passing in an attempt to give the voting base some red meat.

Sen. Cruz ripped McConnell a new one on the Senate floor:

And in my opinion he didn't go far enough.  I would have called for his removal as Majority Leader right then and there, based on the fact that not one single Republican can trust a single word out of his mouth.  Same with Boehner.

The voters wanted to cut spending.  Boehner and McConnell gave Obama what he wanted instead - a trillion dollar CRomnibus bill.

The voters wanted Obama's illegal Amnesty order shut down.  Boehner and McConnell gave Obama what he wanted instead - they funded it completely.

The voters wanted Obamacare shut down.  Boehner and McConnell gave Obama what he wanted instead - they funded it completely.

Voters, to the extent that they knew about it, wanted the Ex-Im bank shut down.  Boehner and McConnell gave Obama what he wanted instead - they re-approved it.

Voters wanted the Asian trade agreement limited.  Boehner and McConnell gave Obama what he wanted instead - full speed ahead with no real limits.

At every single turn, Boehner and McConnell have given Obama everything he wants while shitting all over the people who put them into office and gave them control of Congress.   Boehner and McConnell are doing more damage to the GOP than Obama could ever home and dream of.  There is not a single act of Boehner and McConnell that has strengthened this country or given the GOP any kind of an advantage.

John Boehner and Mitch McConnell need to go.  They need to step down.  They need to be stripped of their positions.  Because if they are not, then the GOP is finished.  Done.  Nobody trusts the GOP while those two are in their positions.  And quite frankly, nobody SHOULD trust the GOP while Boehner and McConnell are in charge.

Recruitment

So, let's say you have a middle school kid.  They're 13, 14 or so.  They go to an anti-bullying conference, and when they get home you ask them what they learned.

And they tell you that they learned how to pleasure their gay partner.

Among the nearly two dozen speakers, “only two” addressed bullying, one attendee estimated, according to EAGnews.org
The rest of the sessions involved issues such as “how to pleasure their gay partners.”
Middle school girls from Humboldt (pop.: 4,690) had the opportunity to learn “how to sew fake testicles into their underwear in order to pass themselves off as boys.”
One speaker wore a dress made out of condoms to which could be “used as needed.” . . .
Nate Monson, executive director of Iowa Safe Schools, said parents who worry about middle school kids hearing about anal sex with strap-ons and analingus are “disgusting.”
“It’s incredibly frustrating that adults are being the problem and being the bully,” Monson told the Des Moines NBC affiliate. “

Did you get that?  The PARENTS of these children who WORRY about their kids being taught how to have ANAL SEX with strap-ons are the disgusting ones, according to this LGBT director.

Let me go back to the post on Friday, and the quote from Ms. Greyland:

What sets gay culture apart from straight culture is the belief that early sex is good and beneficial, and the sure knowledge (don’t think for a second that they DON’T know) that the only way to produce another homosexual is to provide a boy with sexual experiences BEFORE he can be “ruined” by attraction to a girl.
What this fake anti-bullying conference really was, was Recruitment.  There is no other reason to teach middle age and high school age kids about anal sex, strap-ons, analingus or pleasuring your gay partner.  There is no curriculum in K-12 that needs that kind of conference.  This was an attempt to get kids involved in gay sex, because they know that once they get them started and tell them it's "safe", or "natural", or "good", the chances of the kids stopping are darn near zilch.

This was a recruiting effort by deviants, perverts and moral degenerates.  If my kid attended one of these things, I would A) pull them out of that school and B) Demand that the school district end all relationships with Iowa Safe Schools.

Of course, that's assuming that my kid would be in the drone-manufacturing, ignorance-enforcing mediocrity factory that the US Publik Skool Sistim has become.
