Also known as "Business as usual" for the Democrats

Yep.

An elderly couple wanted to vote for the Republican in a 2017 special election in North Philadelphia.
First they were told they had to go “get a stamp” outside the polling place — where Democrats handed out stamps for write-in candidates. Then, when an Election Board worker heard they wanted to vote Republican, a witness heard him bellow: “Not on my machine!” And though they both said they eventually cast ballots, in the end only one GOP vote was recorded at the polling place.

Democrats only win the elections they can steal.

Yep

So apparently this particular meme got the fucking Facebook Fascists to put a guy's account on hold.  Go figure.  I say we spread it far and wide.

The Clinton-Lynch meeting was the end, not the beginning

Loretta Lynch knew months in advance that Corrupt Hillary Clinton wasn't going to be charged.  The meeting on the tarmac in Phoenix was Lynch delivering the results of the Obama corruption to Clinton.

A government of corrupt, power-hungry, greedy statist thugs.  That's what we're dealing with.  And we're still dealing with it, thanks to the rot in the leadership of the FBI.

Shutdown kicked down the road

The Democrats must have looked at their polling numbers and shat their Depends.  This is the first time in my life I can remember the GOP winning a shut-down battle.

Yes, I think TCH has medical uses

Ol' Rodger gives a summation of a creme that he used on his knees.

Two weeks ago I was in for my scheduled silicone injection and showed my knee guy the little jar.  Oh, did you notice the THC ingredient label?  THC is the chemical in pot that delivers the feel goods, as I understand it.  Doctor X noticed it immediately, and was intrigued.  While he'd never heard of this particular application, he said that the governing body of his medical discipline had been studying the THC thing, but had made no recommendation.  But, he implied that I should continue the experiment  and keep him informed.

I have no doubt that THC can have medical benefits.  Let me just lay that out there right now.  If you are using TCH for medical purposes, I think you should be able to do so.

I know, for such a guy who's anti-drug, what the hell, right?

If people can gain some benefit from the medical use of marijuana, I have no problem with that.  It's the people who get stoned all day every day that I object to.  Red wine can benefit cardiovascular health.  That doesn't mean I think it's OK to drink four bottles a night.  People who use THC for medical purposes should be able to do so.  The question then becomes how can we allow people to use THC for medical purposes without enabling those who just want to get intoxicated all day?  I worked with a gent who had glaucoma.  He used THC drops in his eyes to preserve his eyesight.  But, and this is the key, he was not getting stoned off of his medicine.  He was using it for a completely medical purpose.

Just like a lot of the painkillers out there, if you abuse them, then you're an addict with an issue.  Ands I think that the vast majority of people arguing for "medical" marijuana only want it to get high.  I would never suggest that someone guzzle four or five bottles of red wine a day for "heart health".  Neither would I suggest that someone just get high for "medical reasons".  Having a drink at the end of the day helps me relax.  But if I drink the whole bottle, that's certainly not helpful or relaxing.

Your thoughts in the comments.

A government of thugs, for thugs

The FBI somehow "lost" five months of text messages between Peter Strzok and his mistress, sent on an FBI device, in violation of their own SOP.  The dates of missing messages just so happen to coincide with the whole Russian Collusion bullshit that Strzok was kicking up with his mistress and various other high-level members of the FBI.

As Glenn Reynolds puts it:  "There have been so many episodes like this where crucial evidence is “lost” that I don’t believe any of it anymore."

It's thugs protecting thugs, all on our dime.  I don't believe those messages are "lost" anymore than Glenn does.  They are either stored away and the FBI is refusing to hand them over, or they're deleted.  If they're as damaging to the Democrats as I think they could be, then they're gone.  Wiped just as clean as Hillary Clinton's server.

Quite frankly there's nobody at the top of the FBI that I trust right now, and I would bet that the rot and corruption go quite a bit down from there.

Here's one question:  Given that the text messages we do have show that EVERYBODY KNEW Clinton wasn't going to face charges, just how bad are the ones that they deliberately deleted?

One exchange between Strzok and Page, dated July 1, 2016, referenced then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch's decision to accept the FBI's conclusion in the Clinton investigation. Lynch's announcement came days after it was revealed that the attorney general and former President Bill Clinton had an impromptu meeting aboard her plane in Phoenix.
"Timing looks like hell," Strzok texted Page.
"Yeah, that is awful timing," Page agreed. In a later message, she added: "It's a real profile in couragw [sic], since she knows no charges will be brought."
Four days later, then-FBI Director James Comey announced that no charges would be brought against Clinton, even though -- as he put it -- her actions in regard to the private server were "extremely careless."

We knew the Obama administration was corrupt.  Elect a third-world, anti-American president, get a third-world, anti-constitutional government.  Actually having proof of it before the election, i.e. Lynch meeting with Clinton on their private plane, was a blessing from heaven, because it allowed the public to see what the Obama junta didn't want them to see.

NFL hemorrhaging viewers

Heckuva job, Goodell!

This past weekend the NFL had three very competitive games among its four divisional round playoff contests.
Unfortunately for the league, ratings continued to plummet.
In fact, ratings are plummeting so much that virtually no major media outlets are even talking about ratings at all. It’s almost like the league and its television partners have put out the code red not to acknowledge the collapse in viewership so far in 2018.
How bad is it?  This bad:

Yep, every single game was down, no matter how good the games were. And, remember, three of these games were highly competitive in the divisional round this year. Whereas last year only two of the games were competitive. Hell, three of the four windows even feature one of the same teams from last year. And yes, I know, the Cowboys and the Packers played last year and those are the two biggest fan base draws in the NFL, but even if you pull that game out the numbers for the other three games also declined double digits. (The three other games were down 15.3%, 10.4% and 5.6%)
Adding all these numbers up 120.8 million viewers watched the NFL divisional round playoffs in 2018 vs. 144.1 million who watched in 2017, a decline of 23.3 million total viewers.
Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of assholes.  Oh, and apropos of nothing:

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane allegedly told police during his DUI arrest Sunday he was “more high than anything.”
Lane, 27, was booked into the King County Jail early Sunday morning but released less than four hours later after paying a $1,000 bail.
"Dude, I wasn't drunk, I was just high as a kite!"  Yeah.  Let me go back to my post from yesterday.  Lower the boom on this fuckstick.  Driving high is just as bad as driving drunk.  What a fucking loser.

Looks like there's gonna be a shut-down

Because the Democrats care more about illegal aliens than they do about US citizens and members of the military.

We'll see how long it lasts.  I'll miss a paycheck or two.  Maybe more.  If the Democrats think that this will play well in an election year, they have another thing coming.  As someone pointed out, the typical GOP voter is a maker, not a taker.  The typical Democrat voter is the opposite.  I don't see this playing well with the majority of voters in America.

Correlation is not causation, you over-educated idiots

So a bunch of scientists want to lower the limit for BAC.

Most women would need to draw the line at two drinks, and men at two or three if states follow a blueprint by a prestigious scientific panel for eliminating the “entirely preventable” 10,000 alcohol-impaired driving deaths in the United States each year.

A "prestigious scientific panel" full of people who don't know what the hell they're talking about.  This is part of the problem when you're a very intelligent person - you tend to think that because you're a genius in one area, you're a genius in other areas.  Let me explain why they're wrong.

The BAC level for most states is set at .08.  So if you're at .08 or higher BAC, that's considered "drunk driving".  It was at .10 for decades, before it was lowered around the late 90's.

Most people who I pulled over for drunk driving were blowing around .12 to .20 BAC, with some a bit higher.  So they were well beyond the limit, and that means even further beyond the limit that these so-called smart people want to impose.

The military folks didn't have too many DUIs in their background.  If they did they typically were busted down in rank, which meant removal from the service.  But the civilians we busted on post?  Multiple DUIs.  And they either kept driving even without a license, or they STILL HAD THEIR LICENSE after four or five DUIs!

You want to cut down on drunk driving in America?  Lowering the BAC level won't do a damn thing.  Lowering the boom on the assholes who are driving drunk WILL in fact help lower the DUI rates.  I've never understood why this country is so lenient with drunk drivers.  Would you be lenient with someone who walks around waving a gun at people?  Hell no you wouldn't, they would be in jail on multiple charges!

But the people who drive drunk, who in effect wave that gun at random people, get a slap on the wrist.

This isn't about BAC.  This is about the permissive attitude we as Americans have towards drunk drivers in our legal system.  Slap them in jail for a good period of time, and see how much drunk driving drops off.  Take away their licenses, hard, and impose massive punishment if you're driving drunk with a suspended license.  Do the same for those people who drive stoned or high.  You have no right to be operating a machine while impaired.  Take away the cars of those caught drunk driving and auction them off, and watch the DUI numbers fall.

Just lowering an arbitrary number does nothing.  You have to make the punishment for drunk driving stick.  I don't care if you're at a .1 or a .3, if you don't actually punish people for driving drunk, it makes no difference.  You could set the limit at .02, but if you still allow the drunk drivers to have a license after five convictions, what you're really saying is that you don't actually give a shit.

For the record, and I know this because I was the test subject in a DUI certification class, the highest I've been recorded was a .133 BAC, and I can honestly say I was blotto.  At a .103 I knew that I didn't need to be anywhere near machinery.  Even at a .08 I knew I was "drunk", and wouldn't have gotten behind the wheel  So I have an idea of what .08 feels like, because I know how I felt when I had reached that point.  However, people have different reactions to booze depending on a whole host of factors.  That makes whatever BAC limit you impose pretty much arbitrary.

Vermin flee from sunlight

Which is why the Democrats all voted en mass to try to block the FISA memo from being released.

Republican congressmen are calling for the immediate public release of a four-page memo that reveals what they call “shocking,” “troubling” and “alarming,” government surveillance abuses under President Obama. One congressman even likened the details of the memo currently circulating in Congress to "KGB activity in Russia."
The House Intelligence Committee on Thursday released the memo on Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) abuses to all House members after approving Rep. Pete King's (R-N.Y.) motion to do so. The vote on releasing the memo to Congress was — not surprisingly — along party lines, with Democrats voting against transparency.

Obama was a tyrant.  A narcissistic, dumb, arrogant, Marxist tyrant.  I suspect we'll find out more and more just how true that statement is in the coming months.  And if this FISA memo gets released, I think we'll learn that even I was being too nice when I said all those things about him.

Oh, for fuck's sake!

Jorge Bergolio honors an abortion activist with a papal honor.

Pope Francis has conferred the title of “Commander of the Pontifical Equestrian Order of St. Gregory the Great” on Lilianne Ploumen, a Dutch politician and vocal agitator for abortion rights.

The Pope (or the anti-pope, as I like to call him) just awarded what amounts to knighthood to someone who advocates for abortion and homosexuality.

Both of which, the last time I checked, were two of the things that the Catholic Church is supposed to be opposed.

But I guess Jorge Bergolio has to make his buddies in the gay bishops happy somehow.

Seriously, why doesn't Bergolio just drop all pretenses and join the Universalist Unitarian church?

My Body, My Choice!

So, if the decision to have an abortion is totally within the woman's purview, and men have absolutely no say in whether or not a woman can have an abortion, then child support should be summarily removed from our books of laws, as the responsibility for a pregnancy lies completely within the choice of the woman, not the man.

Discuss.

Transgender Mafia puts disabled Vet on Unemployment

Because BADTHINK!

You all know how it goes:

Caligan's views on science and gender are not unique. Most people know that sex is based on genetics and DNA, and gender is a grammatical term used by the trans activists to confuse the issue. But even stating that pedestrian view jumpstarted a witch hunt. Soon, this announcement was posted to Facebook targeting Short Fuse Media Group for being associated with Caligan.

The Mentally Ill Left, who refuse to acknowledge biology, had to make an example of someone who doesn't buy into their delusion.

I figure I'll get kicked off of twitter one day for uttering simple truth like the above.

It is ten degrees where I live right now.

And normally, I wouldn't think twice of it.  Because if I were in Idaho, or Wisconsin, or even Washington state, ten degrees is normal.

I'm in Mississippi.  Holy hell, people, where is that Global Warming I was promised, huh?  There is snow, ice, and near-record low temps down South right now.  As the Mrs. says, "I don't know where we are, but this can't be Mississippi, because that's too far South for this crap!"

Ten degrees and snow on the ground.  Huh.  We're burning through propane in our furnace like it's going out of style.  These houses aren't made for this kind of cold, and it shows.

Dolores O'Riordan died recently

I don't think I can describe just how much, way back when I was a singing and playing long haired hippy, that I wanted to take dear Dolores and bed her until she warbled in a higher octave.

Ah well.  Another crush of mine, gone.

Simple things

So the Mrs. and I like to make our own sausage.  The grinder doubles as a stuffer, which can get somewhat frustrating.  Or at least it was, because we ordered a vertical sausage stuffer and it showed up yesterday.

I get a little giddy over simple things.  Yeah, it's a kitchen gadget, but it makes my life much easier.  So tonight, we make andouille and hot Italian.  Plus work on the jalapeño-cheddar recipe.

Make Mine Freedom

I've posted this multiple times previously.  It's worth posting again.

This is something that kids need to watch, over and over.

Dinner

The Mrs. and I make our own sausage.  We started with Italian back when we were stationed in Puerto Rico.  We added bratwurst when we couldn't find any sausage that didn't have some form of soy or sugar added to it in Wisconsin.  We have a bunch of different types we make, and in Virginia we encountered Cheddar and Jalapeño sausage at various BBQ joints.  Now down here in the South, where we live, we haven't found any C&J sausage.  So.......

We made three different test batches.  And then we smoked them.

We found the recipe that we want to play with.  Maybe I'll post more updates later.

Teenagers are eating Tide Pods?

Folks, this is called "cleaning the gene pool"

"I cannot believe I'm about to do what I'm gonna do," YouTuber Marc Pagan said before sinking his teeth into a Tide Pod. "I'm just bored, so I'm doing something right now that is completely stupid."

Why can't he jack off to internet porn like a normal teenager?  Feh.  Let these dumb ones die off.

In your life, you WILL be an example.  You will either be an example of what to do, or what NOT to do, but you will be an example.  Every species has those individuals who are too dumb to continue living.  Normally they self-select themselves right out of the genetic lottery.  Let.  That.  Happen.

Liberalism is a mental disorder

This bundle of gobbledygook and nonsense is the perfect example.

Why are the pink pussyhats on the outs?
The reason: Apart from the vulgarity of it all, the colorful head apparel excludes transgender women and gender nonbinary individuals who lack female genitalia — as well as women of color since their genitals are more likely to be darker colors than pink, the Detroit Free Press reported.
“I personally won’t wear one because if it hurts even a few people’s feelings, then I don’t feel like it’s unifying,” Phoebe Hopps, founder and president of Women’s March Michigan and organizer of anniversary marches Jan. 21 in Lansing and Marquette, told the Free Press.

A)  If your feelings are hurt because the hat someone else is wearing doesn't exactly match the color of your genitalia, you are mentally ill.
B)  "Transgender women" are not women.  They are men, with a mental illness.  If you are upset because the hat someone else is wearing is representative of genitalia that you do not possess no matter how hard you try, you are mentally ill.
C)  If you are wearing symbolic genitalia on your head as a political statement, you are mentally ill.

And trust me, all you precious butthurt snowflakes - all women are pink on the inside.  If you classify women by the color of their outer labia, you are mentally ill.

Haiti is a shithole. That is not the story.

Ask any of the US Soldiers who were sent there for hurricane relief.  It's a shithole.  That's just what it is.  The Dominican Republic, which is ON THE SAME ISLAND, is not a shithole.  It's not where I would want to live, but people go there on vacation all the time.  Don't drink the water, and be careful of the food, but the people are very nice.  A little crazy, but nice.

Africa, in general, is a shithole.  That continent will attempt to kill you in multiple different ways every single day.  Bugs.  Disease.  Animals.  Other people.  They all try to kill you in Africa.  Not only do I not want to live in Africa, I don't want to visit any more of Africa than I've already seen.  My life isn't going to go on forever, and if I'm going to visit some other country it's going to be one where I don't have to constantly watch my back.

Detroit is a shithole.  It's quite honestly the most depressing American city I have ever been in.  Boarded up houses, boarded up businesses, the place just LOOKS depressed from the moment you set foot on the sidewalk.  The military center I went to was dilapidated and depressing.  Trying to find recruits in Detroit is almost a lost cause.  It's a shithole.  Thanks, Democrats!

If Donald Trump named some countries as shitholes, he's only speaking the truth.  And the Democrat Media Complex is going full steam ahead in their hysterics, because that means they don't have to talk about how indictments are finally coming down in the Clinton Uranium scandal.  No, Clinton herself isn't indicted yet, but it's one more step in taking that felonious hag down.

An 11-count indictment was handed out on Friday connected to the alleged Russian bribery scheme involving former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Obama administration, and Uranium One.
The charges are against Mark Lambert, who is the "former co-president of a Maryland-based transportation company that provides services for the transportation of nuclear materials to customers in the United States and abroad." Lambert 54, of Maryland, was charged with "one count of conspiracy to violate the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and to commit wire fraud, seven counts of violating the FCPA, two counts of wire fraud and one count of international promotion money laundering," the DOJ said in a statement.

So now the hysterical wailing and gnashing of teeth about the word "shithole" kind of makes sense, doesn't it?

Choices

So, Mississippi.  Rather a poor state, all things considered.  Lots of trailer parks around here, and I drive by several of them on my way home.

And many of those dilapidated trailers have shiny cars with 22-inch rims and custom paint jobs parked in front of them.

Folks, 22 inch rims are not cheap.  Tires for those rims are not cheap.  Custom paint jobs are not cheap.  If you've sunk $10k or more of glitzy crap into a 1990's Lincoln Towncar, and you're living in a trailer, you have no one to blame but yourself for your living conditions.

A car will never be as valuable as it is today.  Cars depreciate.  They are not investments.  They don't make you money, unless you're buying junkers and fixing them up.  But driving your pimp-mobile around while living in a trailer doesn't make you cool.  It makes you a moron.

I wonder where they would be living if they took the money they've wasted on pimping their ride and put it into a house somewhere.  I spent less on my car than they spent on all the shiny bullshit and crap they put on their cars.  But I'm living in a rather nice house, and they're living in a rusty tin can in a park on the side of the highway.

Oh, and by the way, 22-inch rims on any car makes you a moron.  You're destroying the most important aspects of your car's performance:  THE TIRES and their connection to the road.  Cars are designed to have a certain amount of rubber between the road and the suspension.  When you screw with that, you screw with your ride.  When you screw with your ride, you shorten the life of your suspension and make the ride that much worse.  Whenever I see 22 inch rims, I see a person who has absolutely no clue what the mechanics of driving actually are.

A damn good question

When I lived in Seattle, getting from Seattle to Tacoma to Olympia on I-5 was a chore.  Not horrible, but a chore.  Lots of traffic.

Last time I went to the Puget Sound area, I-5 was locked up tighter than the 101 in Los Angeles, and the 405 around Renton was just as bad if not worse.

Waaaaaaay back when I was a yoot, we would visit relatives in Seattle.  Back then, if you wanted to "get out of the city", you drove to Tucwila, which is just a little bit south of Seattle.  Now you can drive from Seattle to down past Tacoma and it's concrete buildings all the way.  The open areas are gone.  They've been built over and up in order to accommodate the large amount of people moving to that area.

So, how many immigrants are enough?  How many more people do we need to add to this country?  When is enough, enough?  Ask that to the next people screaming that we need to allow the Dreamers, a huge portion of whom cannot even speak English after being in this country for a decade or more, to stay and continue to suckle off the government teat while voting for Democrats.

Went to Greenville a couple weeks back

to check out a brewing shop.  Drove by lots and lots of cotton fields.  All fallow right now of course, but here and there were clumps of cotton plants that hadn't been harvested, so you could tell what crop had been grown.

So this made me chuckle.

That is all.

Poison Tree, Poison Fruit

All games last weekend saw double-digit viewership losses.

As for me, I haven't watched a single game after the temper tantrum the NFL threw back in September.  And I won't be watching any more games, period.

Fuck the NFL.  I can't wait to see how much TV revenue drops off next year.   Let them enjoy the fruits of the tree they planted.

But, but but... UNPOSSIBLE!

I am told by Progressives EVERY SINGLE DAY about how easy it is to buy a gun!

Federal agents posing as criminals were unable to purchase any firearms from legitimate online marketplaces despite dozens of attempts over a two-year period.
Between July 2015 and November 2017 investigators from the Government Accountability Office (GAO), following up on a congressional request, tried to make the illegal private gun purchases through a number of online forums and market places. They made 72 attempts over that time but couldn't complete a single sale using legitimate sites.

Then again, given that most Progressives have the brain function of a tape-worm, it doesn't shock me that they're wrong.

This is what success looks like.

Regulations at lowest count since records began being kept in 1970's.

The next time to meet a NeverTrump "conservative", ask them who else other than maybe Ted Cruz would have done this.  Donald Trump isn't a politician.  And that's what they hate about him.

Still not tired of Winning.

Fuck you, Apple

My Apple MacBook Pro has managed to do something that every other computer I have owned never did - have a malfunctioning CD drive.

Yep.  The expensive computer with a METAL SHELL has managed to break a piece of hardware that the cheapest, plastic HP computer never did.  So much for that construction, you fucking asswipes.  I paid good money for a good computer.  What I got was....

Well, hell if I know.  Parts of it are good.  Parts of it suck.  Like the CD drive.  Which has functioned flawlessly in every other computer I've ever had.

After Steve Jobs died, Apple's quality has gone to shit.  They've slowed down older iPhones.  Their products have taken a steep nose-dive.  This computer has outlived it's warrantee, so there's that, but I didn't pay a lot of money to have a computer outlive it's warrantee, I spent a lot of money to have a computer that wouldn't have BASIC FUCKING COMPONENTS BREAK.  And that's on top of the issues of trying to make it play nice with anything that isn't another Apple product.

My next computer won't be an Apple.  I was never an Apple fanboi, I just hated Microsoft Vista with a burning passion and refused to play Microsoft's little games with their operating systems.  There's enough variety out there now that I don't need to piss around with either Microsoft OR Apple, and they can both go fuck themselves with a hot poker for all I care.

Administrative duties

It's pretty much a rule that the higher up you go in any large organization, the more administrative your job will be.  In the Army, this rule applies double.  I want to be out running through the woods with a weapon in my hands, but instead I have to sit at a desk and do all the administrative crap that makes it possible for all the young bucks to do the job I want to do.

This month, it seems that admin workload got doubled.

So enjoy some more music from my mis-spent youth.  This band made it big with a couple of songs but never seemed to do much after that.

Tuesday, January 02, 2018

Well, YEAH.

Republicans care about voter fraud no matter the circumstance.  Democrats only care about voter fraud if it hurts Republicans.

That's because Democrats only win the elections they can steal.

As Kane told the Washington Times, "There’s different concerns in both camps. Republicans really do appear to be super-concerned about fraud and Democrats not so much. Democrats really appear to be concerned about the electoral implications, not so much fraud."

There's a reason we can't vote our way out of the mess we're in.  Because that assumes that the people on the other side of the aisle care as much about integrity and morals as we do.  And as has been shown time and time again, the Democrats don't give one single fuck about integrity or morals.  They only care about power, and using it against their enemies, the conservative patriots who still live in this country.

What, you think that might be too much?  It's not even close.  The Left in this country hates you.  It hates you and wants you to die.  Don't take my word for it, just go listen to them yourself.  They hate you because you refuse to be controlled.  They hate you because you think for yourself, instead of imbibing their poisonous groupthink.  They hate you because you do not bow down to their God, the Government.  And they want to do to you what Leftist groups have done to their enemies all over the past 150 years or more - round you up and exterminate you.

Don't take my word for it.  Just go listen to them for yourself.

The article ends with this:

If you believe in a nation led with the consent of the governed, then you believe in crushing voter fraud no matter what. Yet the Left does not.
The Left has absolutely no interest in the rule of law at all, unless they can use that to attack conservatives.  Just look at how the Left treats multiple felon Hillary Clinton and her pack of criminal deviants.  They love them.  Because Hillary and Co., which includes that jug-eared shitstain Obama, used their power in the government to attack Conservatives in America.  Who gives a shit if they broke the law, right?  They got POWER!

This is why there will be a civil war in this country.  Because one side cares about the Constitution and the Rule of Law.  That's us.  The Left doesn't.  In fact, the Left considers the Constitution and the Rule of Law to be an impediment to their ruling this country.  Buy more ammo.

Happy New Year

Let's see how much WINNING we can pack into 2018, shall we?

New Year's Eve

I ain't staying up.  So...  there's that.  Running on New Year's Day is the best run of the year, and I'm going to make sure I wake up early enough for that.

The Mrs. made hot wings for dinner.  Hooooooooo, boy.  I'm going to need ice cubes in the bathroom tomorrow.  But they were GOOD.  DAMN GOOD.  And I was sweating for an hour after dinner, and I DON'T CARE.

Dessert was strawberries, with whipped cream.  And not that crappy shit in a tub either.  Real cream, whipped with a whisk, sweetened with honey.  Fuck yeah, I stuffed myself.  Maybe get the cream to help counter-act the satanic heat of the hot wings I ate earlier.

Now, whiskey.

This is big

The people of Iran, as in 2009, are rebelling against the Mullahs and the Iranian theocratic leadership.

However, unlike 2009, we actually have a president who supports them, doesn't constantly kiss the ass of the terrorist supporting turds, and might actually help them become free.

I am reminded on a daily basis how happy I am that Trump is president, because Hillary Clinton would have thrown the Iranian people under the bus yet again, just like that jug-eared fucking shitstain Obama did in 2009.

An $18,000,000,000 tax cut

Has already been affected by Donald J Trump, by cutting regulations that cost us money. (link goes to Instapundit, not WaPo)

Last Thursday, Trump announced the first results of this effort: His administration achieved $8.1 billion in lifetime regulatory savings — and is on track to achieve an additional $9.8 billion in savings in fiscal 2018. Since excessive regulations are a hidden tax on American workers and businesses, that amounts to an $18 billion tax cut.”

All those people who are still NeverTrumpers?  Fuck them.  Fuck them with a baseball bat covered in rusty barbed wire and then they can go play in traffic, while the rest of us get on with the business of trying to prevent the destruction of this country.

I think the EPA should be located in Minot, ND.

Because the cost of living is much lower there than it is in Washington D.C. which means you wouldn't need to pay people over six figures.

We all know military pay isn't high, but bureaucrats don't come cheap. The average benefit package includes 10 federal holidays, 13 sick days and 20 vacation days — that's four weeks — a year. The benefits alone cost taxpayers just under $23 billion a year.
The report even suggests that the government has an unofficial minimum wage: $100,000 a year. That's the minimum average salary for 78 out of 122 federal departments and agencies, although some individuals make less. Even so, the report notes, "29,852 federal employees out-earned each of the 50 state governors receiving more than $190,823."
It used to be people went into government to do good. Now, apparently, it's to do well.
Move the Department of Energy to some place in New Mexico.  Or Arizona.  The Department of Education can build their headquarters in Wyoming.  Move some other department to Mississippi, and another to Nebraska.  All of those places are much, much cheaper to live than Washington D.C., and it will do two things:  Allow you to hire people for less money, and de-centralize the bureaucracy that currently infests D.C.  We can see exactly how dedicated these people are to their jobs when they can't hob-knob with fancy lobbyists at all the right bars and clubs.  We'll see how much they love their jobs when it's -30 with a windchill even lower than that, and they still have to report in to the office.  We'll see what kind of "public service" is offered when the nearest five-star restaurant is an hour drive away.

And quite honestly, if that makes a bunch of these pukes retire, so much the better.

No, Jorge. No they are not.

Jorge Bergolio, the anti-pope, claims that Muslim rapefugees are like "Joseph and Mary".  Sorry Jorge, but your logic is as weak and pathetic as your theology.  Joseph and Mary were not part of a blood-thirsty Satanic death cult, dedicated to the subjugation of the civilized world under the heel of sharia law.  Mary and Joseph returned to Nazareth at the first opportunity.  They didn't stay in Egypt demanding welfare for themselves and their multiple wives and kids.

Every time Jorge Bergolio opens his mouth, he reminds everyone of just how unfit he is to hold the office he currently occupies.

Just a reminder

Following the post about "education" in California below this one, the publik skool sistim in America is a cesspool of Marxist indoctrination.  The publik skool sistim in America is more concerned about making sure kids feel good than actually educated them, which is  how you get scores of supposedly educated morons and savages waving a diploma.  If you want your children to be educated, don't put them in a publik skool.  The publik skool sistim in America is tainted, corrupted and worthless

Homeschool.  Find a parochial school, or a good Christian school.  Most of all, be involved in your children's schooling.  But do not, under any circumstance, simply send your kid off to school and think that everything is going to be OK.  It won't be.  You'd be better off tossing your child into a pit of feral dogs, because at least then they might learn to defend themselves.  And the person you get back will be stunted, corrupted, and indoctrinated.  I think one big issue of "Millennials" stems from the fact that they've come out of the publik skool sistim, and thus do not know HOW to use their brains.  They've only been told what to think and what to do.  Thus you get snowflakes, cry-bullies, and all the various other liberal stereotypes that the Marxist apparatus churns out.

Gah.  I need more coffee.

Corrupting History

California would rather you know the Baron Von Stuben may have been gay.  How does this help learn the cause and scope of the Revolutionary War?  It doesn't.  But California doesn't really care if you know or understand history, so long as you're OK with a man fucking another man in the ass.

California has become the first state in the union to mandate the use of LGBT-inclusive textbooks in elementary schools and have given parents no way to opt out. The choice has been made for them. It’s the law.
That law requires a “fair, accurate, inclusive, and respectful” treatment of homosexual, bisexual, transgender, and lesbian Americans despite the historical insignificance.
Hey, this historical figure is in this book because they totally liked to go down on the guy next to them!  And this person was a tranny!

“We’re not trying to make anybody gay; we’re not saying there’s an agenda; we’re not saying that these people are better than other people; what we’re saying is this is another group of Americans and they face certain prejudices,” said state publisher Mark Jarrett,
It's not that they faced "certain prejudices", is it?  Because EVERY group in America at some time has faced certain prejudices, but only the current political favorites get the special treatment.  And more importantly, by injecting sexual connotations into every aspect of education, it helps sexualize younger and younger children, which is one of the goals of the Left.  There's a reason the Left defends the pedophiles in Hollywood so vociferously.  So this is a two-fer:  They get to claim historical victim status for their preferred group, and they get to sexualize eight-graders even more than they already are.

This is the same state going bankrupt but still spending hundreds of billions of dollars on a "high-speed" rail that isn't high speed, doesn't go anywhere, and won't be ridden by almost anyone.

I'd say their priorities are fucked.

A mellow Christmas

The Mrs. and I, still having boxes unpacked around the house, and having little to no time for any kind of shopping that isn't house related, went without presents this year.  And quite frankly, it was nice to not have to spend hours shopping.  We sent Christmas cards to friends and family, and that was about the extent of our efforts.

We went to a Latin Mass in Louisiana on Christmas morning, and then spent the day on the couch doing just about nothing until dinner.  Dinner was bacon-wrapped steaks with asparagus.  Breakfast today was donut french toast with bananas foster instead of syrup.  And bacon.  Of course, there must be bacon.  We're going to do some more shopping for storage containers today, and then finally clean the rest of the boxes out of the car port.  My car has a decent dent in it, from where one of the trees around the house dropped a branch onto the roof.  I was less than pleased.  That tree might just be coming down.

Gloria in Excelsis Deo

[6] And it came to pass, that when they were there, her days were accomplished, that she should be delivered. [7] And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him up in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. [8] And there were in the same country shepherds watching, and keeping the night watches over their flock. [9] And behold an angel of the Lord stood by them, and the brightness of God shone round about them; and they feared with a great fear. [10] And the angel said to them: Fear not; for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, that shall be to all the people:
[11] For, this day, is born to you a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord, in the city of David. [12] And this shall be a sign unto you. You shall find the infant wrapped in swaddling clothes, and laid in a manger. [13] And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly army, praising God, and saying: [14] Glory to God in the highest; and on earth peace to men of good will.

Merry Christmas

First, the Coventry Carol.

This song is one of the saddest Christmas Carols I've ever heard.  We should be happy, right?  Jesus is born!

Well, yes.  Born to die, horribly, for us.  And the world attacked him from the moment he was born, as referenced in the second verse.  Not very happy, that.

But as a refresher, quite possibly the most beautiful carol of all time.  Turn the volume up as high as it can go:

Trump called military units around the world to wish them Merry Christmas

Have I mentioned how happy I am that Hillary Clinton is not president?  She would never do anything like this, and you know it.

Donald Trump is spending Christmas at his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida, or as he calls it, “The Winter White House.”
Being in sunny Florida did not stop Trump from reaching out to hundreds of members of the armed service around the globe, some in active war zones. Trump spoke via video teleconference to rooms packed full of service members stationed in Qatar, Kuwait, Guantanamo Bay and the USS Sampson in 5th Fleet OPS Underway, according to the pool report.

I want every Clinton voter to kiss my ass.

Running Capitalist Pig-Dog!

So, over on the Sidebar, you'll see a new doo-hicky thingy for Ammo.com.  Use my link to buy ammo, I get a small pittance, which I will then use to buy my own ammo.  Unfortunately, I cannot refer myself.  So if you're of a mind to purchase ammo, here's your opportunity!  Hey, you gotta spend that Christmas money somehow, right?

Bundy case declared a mistrial

The body rots from the head down.

The judge listed six types of evidence that she said prosecutors deliberately withheld before trial, including information about the presence of an FBI surveillance camera on a hill overlooking the Bundy ranch and documents about U.S. Bureau of Land Management snipers outside the ranch.
The others were maps, an FBI log with entries about snipers on standby, threat assessments that indicated the Bundys weren't violent and that the Bureau of Land Management was trying to provoke a conflict by antagonizing them and nearly 500 pages of internal affairs documents involving lead bureau special agent Dan Love, since fired from the agency.

Emphasis mine.  Anyone else see shades of Ruby Ridge and Waco in this?  Why do Democrat regimes always use violence to achieve their political goals?

That was redundant, thankyouverymuch.

The information also would help refute the government's indictment that alleged the defendants used deceit to draw supporters by "falsely'' contending snipers were posted around the ranch.
"The failure to turn over such evidence violates due process,'' the judge said.
At this point one must assume that the FBI is corrupted and converged at every level, and cannot be trusted in matters large or small.

The judge also found prosecutors withheld a March 3, 2015, FBI report that identified a Bureau of Land Management agent in tactical gear and carrying an AR-15 rifle outside the family ranch on April 5 and April 6, 2014.
In addition, she cited an FBI log with entries that said "snipers were inserted'' and on standby outside the Bundy home. Three entries in the log mentioned snipers present, Navarro noted. Prosecutors claimed they were unaware of the log at first because it was kept on a thumb drive in a tactical vehicle.
"The government is still responsible for information from the investigating agency. The FBI chose not to disclose it,'' Navarro said.

Do read it all.  The FBI has lost any and all respect it may have once had, and is now just a group of armed thugs and goons with government backing.

This is government healthcare

Hey, has anyone from the VA been fired for covering up the two-year waiting list?  What about the two criminals who defrauded the government out of hundreds of thousands of dollars, who were fired, but then had their termination reversed by some review panel?  Are they still kicking around?

It's almost as if allowing an unelected, unaccountable bureaucracy to run a health care system is a bad idea!  I know, right?  WHO WOULDA THUNK IT?

Winter Solstice is tonight

I don't attach any kind of mystical or religious meaning to it.  What it means to me is that we get more daylight every day for 180 days.

Why aren't these fuckers on trial yet?

Do you know what would happen to me if I authorized a project, signed off on it, placed my signature all over the paperwork and then told my bosses "Well, gosh, I just don't recall!"

Sources close to the investigation say that McCabe was a “friendly witness” to the Democrats in the room, who are said to have pressed the deputy director, without success, to help them build a case against President Trump for obstruction of justice in the Russia-collusion probe. “If he could have, he would have,” said one participant in the questioning.
Investigators say McCabe recounted to the panel how hard the FBI had worked to verify the contents of the anti-Trump “dossier” and stood by its credibility. But when pressed to identify what in the salacious document the bureau had actually corroborated, the sources said, McCabe cited only the fact that Trump campaign adviser Carter Page had traveled to Moscow. Beyond that, investigators said, McCabe could not even say that the bureau had verified the dossier’s allegations about the specific meetings Page supposedly held in Moscow.
The sources said that when asked when he learned that the dossier had been funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee, McCabe claimed he could not recall – despite the reported existence of documents with McCabe’s own signature on them establishing his knowledge of the dossier’s financing and provenance.

Toss that corrupt fucker into Club Fed and see how long it takes for him to actually tell the truth.  For the bullshit he's pulled, I'd already be in Ft. Leavenworth.  This corrupt fucker still has a job.  "Rule of Law".  If there is ANYTHING we've learned from this election, it's that there is no real Rule of Law in this country.  There's the laws that we the little people have to follow, and then there's the "laws" that our self-elected and self-annointed elitist shitbag "leaders" have to follow, and those two sets of laws look nothing alike.  We've also learned that the FBI leadership is hopelessly corrupt, SJW converged, Democrat Party operatives.

Fuck draining the swamp.  I'm all for blowing it the fuck apart, because that's about the only way we can shrink it enough for ordinary citizens to be able to live their lives in peace.

The Satanic Left, corrupting another institution

CNN Promotes Children's book showing Santa Clause married to another man.

Above a chyron that read, “Children’s Holiday Book Explores Race, Homosexuality,” New Day co-anchor Christi Paul declared the book a “fresh, new twist” and then appeared to lament the fact that “there are some families though, tsk, not so happy about the book’s maybe not so hidden agenda.”

The Left will not be happy until it destroys every last vestige of civilization, upon which time it will triumphantly mount the pile of ashes where we used to live, and plant their flag proclaiming that we are now all equal.

Obama helped Hezbollah in order to kiss up to Iran

Tell me, please:  If Obama was a Muslim, or if he was just an Anti-American Marxist shitstain....  how could we tell the difference?

The Justice Department declined requests by Project Cassandra and other authorities to file criminal charges against major players such as Hezbollah’s high-profile envoy to Iran, a Lebanese bank that allegedly laundered billions in alleged drug profits, and a central player in a U.S.-based cell of the Iranian paramilitary Quds force. And the State Department rejected requests to lure high-value targets to countries where they could be arrested.
“This was a policy decision, it was a systematic decision,” said David AsherDavid AsherVeteran U.S. illicit finance expert sent from Pentagon to Project Cassandra to attack the alleged Hezbollah criminal enterprise., who helped establish and oversee Project Cassandra as a Defense Department illicit finance analyst. “They serially ripped apart this entire effort that was very well supported and resourced, and it was done from the top down.”

To just to recap:  The Obama administration shut down a program that was hunting drug-pushers, gun-runners and money-launderers, all of whom worked for Hezbollah (which is an Iran-sponsored terrorist organization), which funneled millions upon millions of dollars to Hezbollah (which is an Iran sponsored terrorist organization), in order to kiss up to the Mad Mullahs of Iran, who promptly bent over Obama and his stooge John Kerry during Obama's second term and fucked this country right up the ass with a sandpaper condom.  And when Iran gets nukes, as they will unless Trump does something to fix the mess Obama left behind, we'll have the largest terrorist-supporting state in the world with nukes and a willingness to use them.

Did I miss anything?

I've said it before, I'll say it again - there is no way we can repair the damage that Obama did to this country, and it'll be decades before we even discover the true extent of the carnage he wrought.

Unpacking

Started yesterday.  Continues today.  Will continue tomorrow.  It would have been a lot easier if the damn movers had gotten our furniture and shelves off the truck first.

Even dogs don't mess their den

One of the things that irritated me about my prior rental was that in the area where I lived, it seemed that all the prior residents had just thrown their trash out back.  The Mrs. and I picked up tons of trash; I lost count of the bags we took to the dump, and all of it was junk and rubbish from residents years gone by, that we had picked up out of our back acreage.  We weren't the only ones.  My immediate neighbor hauled tons of trash out of his acreage as well.  Our friends down the street took truckloads of trash to the dump.  All of it left by people with less sense than a stray dog.

Fast forward to now, and I'm in Mississippi.  The dog goes and does his business out in the woods near our house.  I go to clean it up.  And what do I spy?  Trash and rubbish.

So the Mrs. and I go forth with trashbags in hand.  We found pull-tab beer cans from the 70's, unopened bottles of Bud Light, oil filters, house-plant containers, soda bottles from the 1990's, and bunches of other crap.  All of it now bagged up in my trailer waiting to go to the dump.

What kind of slack-jawed fuckstick trashes his own back yard?  And why am I the one that always cleans it up?  This isn't some house out in the middle of nowhere - we've got houses pretty much everywhere, even though it's a rural setting.  What the hell, man?

I have disturbed friends

They send me stuff like this.

I have no words.....

Perve-nado exposes yet another Leftist

Pissy Chrissy Matthews, aka "The Tingler", likes to harass women.

An MSNBC spokesman confirmed Saturday the company made a separation-related payment to one of Chris Matthews employees after the woman complained about sexual harassment.
Two sources familiar with the situation told The Daily Caller that Matthews paid $40,000 to settle with an assistant producer on his show, “Hardball with Chris Matthews,” in 1999 after she accused him of harassment. An MSNBC spokesperson contested that claim to the Caller, saying the company instead paid significantly less as part of a severance package.

Well, I know who I believe....

Enjoy your day!

One irritating thing about living in Mississippi

No hockey.  Of course, it's not exactly a Deep South sport, is it?  Unless you're in Atlanta or near one of the Florida teams.  In Virginia, the Capitols made sure that hockey was on sports radio, and that meant you got updates from the rest of the league.  Down here?  Nada.

I might have to get some package on my computer to watch some games.

You would think, being within driving distance (kinda) of Nashville, we'd at least get some Predator games.  Not that I can find....

Mitch McConnell is a fucking turd that keeps floating up

Mitch McConnell is the reason why Doug Jones, the creepy Uncle Bad-Touch of Alabama, got elected.

The desire to avoid bad candidates is an understandable goal. It’s shared by every wing of the GOP. But because of the toxicity of the GOP establishment brand today, meddling in primaries actually makes it more likely, not less likely that bad candidates will win primaries in the future. Instead of primaries being about the candidates and their flaws, going forward, they will be about Mitch McConnell and K Street as long as he publicly interferes.
The question now is: will McConnell learn this lesson? How many more seats do we have to lose?

McConnell won't learn a damn thing until he's removed from the position of Senate Majority Leader.  The only question is will that happen BEFORE the GOP loses it's majority?

Creepy Uncle Bad-Touch wins Alabama election

The Democrat Media Complex did their job and made Roy Moore toxic.  Oh, did you think I was talking about Moore winning?  Have you SEEN the Democrat, Doug Jones?  I wouldn't allow that guy around any women or children in my family.

In any case, here's another perfectly winnable Senate seat that Mitch McConnell went and fumble-fucked away.  Mo Brooks would have won this seat handily, and without any of the baggage that Roy Moore brought with him.  But McConnell wanted his establishment flunkey, who was deeply flawed and had his own baggage trail, so Yertle McTurtle went all in attacking Brooks.  Heckovajob, Mitch!

Mitch McConnell is the leader of the Swamp Things, who hates ordinary Republican Voters for daring to actually expect the GOP to do what they say they will do.

Now here's my prediction - every single allegation against Roy Moore is going to disappear.  POOF, gone.  Because they've done their job.  They were never real, they were just a political hit job, and they Left got the GOP to react just they way they wanted them to react.  Doug Jones, who looks like a cross between Harvey Weinstein and Jeffery Dahmer, a sleazy shitbag Clintonista who wants abortion on demand while banning anything that even looks like a gun, is going to be screwing things up in the Senate while Mitch McConnell wanders around in a daze as the GOP base continues to flee from that Swamp that he mismanages.

Just.....  fuck.

Send. Them. Back.

The family of the dude who tried to blow up a bunch of New Yorkers released this statement:

OK folks, lemme get down to brass tacks here, m'kay?  Your family member BLEW HIMSELF RIGHT THE FUCK UP, and your response is to criticize the NYPD and how they handled it?

Go right the fuck back to whatever shithole you came from.  Go away.  You don't deserve to live in this country.  Fuck right off.

Just. Friggin. Brilliant.

On the partial splody-dope in NYC yesterday....

Socialist Animals

That has multiple meanings.

Lullaby for a Soldier

I had no idea that the lady who played the doctor on Sons of Anarchy also sang this piece.

Don't worry about the video.  Just listen to the song.

Very.....  Celtic, in sound.

Explosion in New York

This is the new "Normal".  I expect to see more attacks like this to be honest.  Because America in mentally incapable of doing what needs to be done to prevent these 7th century barbarians from doing what they do.  Islam is incompatible with Western Civilization, and until the majority of people in the West accept that fact, muslims will continue to blow up innocent civilians.

And since we're going on about music

Here's a little tune from the 1700's.

Modern Music Sucks

And that's why radio is dying.

"Oh but Dave....."  But nothing.  Modern music sucks, requires little to no talent, and gets tossed in the trash heap about six months after it's put out on the market.  I cannot stand "Bro-Country".  I would rather jam icepicks into my ears than listen to rap or any other "urban" or "hip-hop" crap.  Most female singers these days can only be listened to with the volume completely off, and let's face, it, that's why they were signed in the first place.

I would listen to talk radio and sports radio in Virginia.  I'm doing the same thing here.  I have yet to find a radio station playing music that doesn't make me want to punch my fist through the console as of yet.  NPR has classical music, but I never know when they're going to be playing music, and when they're going to be yammering on about their progressive politics.  If I want music, I stream actual good music through my phone.

And, let me not be remiss here - there are absolute shitloads of good music floating around today.  But they're not being produced by the music labels.  Oh no, you can see them live at your local bar, but you won't find them on Amazon.  No, the music producers, the companies, would rather have an auto-tuned Taylor Swift than whatever band is out there actually making music.

At one point, I flipped through the music stations in Richmond, and some band called "Imagine Dragons" was on four of them.  The same song.  Don't ask me what song, I didn't bother to look it up.  But it was the same band, same song, four different stations at once.  And I think Imagine Dragons is one of the most over-rated bands, ever.  Four stations at once.  Which means that whatever other music was out there, it was worse than the over-produced shit from a over-rated band.

Radio has it's problems, and many of them are self-inflicted.  But the absolute shittiness of music these days it's it's fault.  At least, I don't think it is.

I agree with Vox

If you're "shaken and scared" over someone flying the American flag IN AMERICA, then you're not really American, no matter where you may have been born.  Sarah Silverman cares more about being Jewish than she does about being American.  So maybe she can fuck off to Israel, or some other country.  She doesn't need to stay here.

I have been reliably informed

That my Northern Wife and I have broken Mississippi.

"Y'all damn Yankees brought this shit with ya!"

I'm from the West.  Am I still a Yankee?

"A Day that will live in Infamy"

Of course, if you're at a publik skool, you probably don't know a damn thing about this day.  More's the pity.  So if you're a bit older, teach the young ones why it's so important.  Chances are they've been told that the Heroic Intersectional Feminist Japanese bravely struck at the Imperialist Patriarchal Hegemony or some crap like that.

The NFL just extended Rodger Goodell another five years

Which means it's at least five more years before I watch another NFL game.  And that's if I ever watch another game at all.  The Mrs. and I find that we always have something else to do on a Sunday.

About the Flynn Kerfluffle

It's a big fat nothingburger with nothingsauce, topped with a garnish of nothing.

To anyone with any legal insight, such as Alan Dershowitz, Trey Gowdy, and Andy McCarthy (one of them should be the attorney general), it was the barefaced admission by Special Counsel Robert Mueller that, after nine months in charge of an investigation that had already been under way for eight months, he has absolutely nothing to justify continuing this charade within its original mandate to explore a Trump-Russian connection.
General Flynn was indicted for precisely the reason President Trump dismissed him as national-security adviser: lying about discussions with the Russians.
And now there's all the news about the Hillary cabal of Muller's team doing what corrupt Democrats do hitting the news, like this new revelation that hit the pages today.  I'm wondering if Trump isn't letting all this play out to expose what a sham the entire thing is.

Jeannie Rhee, who was hired by Mueller last summer to work on the probe, was the personal attorney of Ben Rhodes and also represented the Clinton Foundation, Ingraham revealed. "This information will put further pressure on Special Prosecutor Bob Mueller to resign."
Rhee is the third member of the Mueller team this week who has been shown to be brazenly partisan. Two other members of the team have been revealed as highly questionable hires in recent days as well — Peter Strzok, an anti-Trumper who helped exonerate Hillary Clinton, and Andrew Weissmann, an unscrupulous prosecutor who told outgoing acting Attorney General Sally Yates in an email that he was "proud" of her for defying President Trump's travel ban.
I believe it was Napoleon who said "Never interrupt your enemy in the process of making a mistake", or something like that.  By the time this "investigation" is done, Muller will look like the rabidly partisan shitbag we all know him to be, and the Democrats will be standing there gasping for breath, with every shell in their gun expended and no hits.
