Two - I'm in the process of taking a class that requires me to first observe a class.  So I have to be up and out early.

I think death threats are appropriate in this case

Lois Lerner says she got death threats, wants her testimony sealed forever.

Former IRS senior executive Lois G. Lerner told a federal court this week that she faces the possibility of death threats if her role in the tax agency’s tea party-targeting becomes public, and asked a judge to forever seal her upcoming deposition in a class-action lawsuit brought by hundreds of groups that were targeted. 

Mr. Lerner and Holly Paz, another figure from the IRS tea party targeting, told the judge they’ve already faced “harassment and death threats” before, and said they fear another media firestorm if their version of events from the tea party targeting were to become public. 

The two women said they are willing to testify, but said they could be putting “their lives in serious jeopardy.”

You used the power of the government against innocent civilians who simply disagreed with you politically.  Your actions gave them no recourse.  You and your bosses made sure you didn't suffer any accountability for your actions, and you skated off scot-free with your six-figure pension, leaving behind the victims of your actions helpless and hopeless.

Death threats are appropriate at this time.  This is what happens when you use the government to abuse people and walk away with no consequences.  There WILL be consequences, of one form or another.  Remove the ability for people to hold you responsible through the courts, and they'll find other ways to hold you responsible.

Personally, if Lois Lerner spent the rest of her life in hiding, afraid to go out in the light of day for fear of people hunting her down, it wouldn't bother me one single bit.  Sic semper tyrannis.

MIT publishes children's book glorifying communism

MIT Press is out with a new book that teaches children the tenets of Karl Marx with fairy tales. 

Communism for Kids, written by a German author who specializes in political theory and "queer politics," was released last month. The thesis of the children's book is that communism is "not that hard," but has not been implemented in the right way.

Gosh, how many more hundreds of millions of people have to die before it gets implemented in the right way?

Things like this are why I can no longer take a college education seriously.  When you pop out of that little Marxist indoctrination chamber with a fancy sheepskin saying you know stuff but you regurgitate crap like this, then you really haven't learned anything of worth.

That the one and only time I ever heard Seattle Mayor Ed Murray speak, it made my skin crawl.  The guy sounds like "Uncle Badtouch" from the get-go, and his smarmy, lisping delivery made me want to punch him in the face after two seconds of hearing his voice.

So when I find out that multiple people are accusing him of sexual molestation and pedophilia back in the 80's, it doesn't shock me one bit.

An unnamed man filed a child sex abuse lawsuit against the mayor on Thursday, alleging Murray “repeatedly criminally raped and molested” him when he was a homeless 15-year-old in the 1980s. 

The unnamed plaintiff and two other men gave interviews to the Seattle Times — all telling similar stories about a politico in his late 20s and 30s, who befriended street kids, paid them and had his way with them.

I wonder if Murray had been a Catholic Priest, would the paper be so nice to Murray as they are right now?

The (Seattle) Times explained why it didn't print the accusations until last week, when claims in the public lawsuit echoed their accounts: 

“Murray denied the accusations to reporters and hired an attorney, who worked to discredit the men largely based on their criminal pasts,” the paper reported. “Neither the Seattle Times nor other media publicly reported the allegations, and Murray’s political career continued to rise.”

So this isn't the first time this has been raised!  Nope, in fact, it was raised years ago, and the media dumped it down the memory hole because progressive politics, y'all!  Who cares how many boys Uncle Badtouch was raping, he's a progressive and he's gonna make Seattle progressive, so all those boys can go pound sand while Uncle Badtouch gets elected!

I wonder, if Murray was a Catholic Priest, if the Times would have accepted the weak explanation that they swallowed from Murray.

There is no victory in Syria.  There is no "winning".  We can't "win so big" with Assad, because beating Assad means that Terrorist Group A comes to power, assuming that Terrorist Group B doesn't kill them off first and take the throne.  There is not a single group of people in Syria who are our pals.  Any of them in control of the country is a bad idea.  Helping one over the other will only mean that one group hates us slightly less, but they'll still send terrorists over to blow up Americans when they can.  And the other groups will probably swear blood feud because we didn't give their terrorists priority over Terrorist Group A's terrorists.

You want to help Syria?  You build refugee camps outside of the country and make sure that the insanity of Syria stays in Syria.  Other than that, you build a wall around the country, seal it up and wait for the various terrorists, dictator-wanna-be assholes and the actual dictator to kill each other.  And when there's only one or two people left you tell them "If any of this shit show makes it to our shores, we will bomb your country until it's nothing but rubble from one side to the other.  And then we'll bomb it to make the rubble bounce."

Fauxcahontas Warren (aka Lie-a-watha) goes silent after reports show she only pays women 71% of what she pays men.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) failed to acknowledge Equal Pay Day for the first time in her Senate career after it was reported on Tuesday that women working in her Senate office earned just 71 percent of what was earned by men. 

Warren has used Equal Pay Day, which fell on April 4 this year, in years past as an opportunity to speak out on the gender pay gap. Last year she took to the Senate floor to call Equal Pay Day a "national day of embarrassment" and pledged to continue her "fight" until the pay gap was erased. She gave similar statements on Equal Pay Day in 2015, 2014, and 2013, her first year in the Senate. 

This year, Warren was the only female Democratic senator who ignored Equal Pay Day entirely, and it was not due to a lack of opportunity.

I have a problem when Vox Day says that other people can't come over and effectively become American.  I know a lot of immigrants who are more American than some native born people.  But when I read crap like this, I pretty much go on board with his plan to just send them all back.  Here's the quote that got me steamed:

I've worked in theater.  I've done small and big.  The amount of money they got from the NEA couldn't have paid for my services as a percussionist.  I know.  I saw their books.  I did a lot of volunteer work for them, shall we say.  If the NEA was supporting local theaters in Lincoln, Nebraska, in their production of "South Pacific", I might be more supportive.  But no, it goes to some brainless SJW in Brooklyn who shits in a corner and calls it art.

Let's not even go into the fact that most "modern art" delves into SJW delusions or repressed sexuality as brought forth by drug-addled lesbians.  "Oh look, I added a glittery purple dildo to a sculpture of a unicorn!  That represents the patriarchy and women's struggle to achieve equality through orgasms!"

So, I have allergies.  I know this.  They drove me nuts in LA, with all the pollution.  As I was leaving California, part of my joyous celebrating was the fact that I was leaving behind my allergy hell.

And then Virginia said "Hold my beer...."

I did my PT test yesterday, and I was hacking out lung biscuits the entire run.  I was passing pools of water where the edges were yellow from all the pollen they'd collected.  I got on my bike yesterday, ready to go home, and had to dust off the layer of pollen that had collected on it during the day.

I practically gurgle when I try to talk in the morning.  This is getting ridiculous.  Some people asked why I want to move back to North Idaho when I retire.  Because allergy season is two or three weeks of pine trees blowing pollen in the air, and then it's DONE.

Why I hate working on engines

So I'm changing out the spark plugs on my bike.  I get the spark plugs.  I go to the store.  I find the right spark plug socket that fits on the spark plugs (18 millimeter!)  I take everything home, and go to pull the old spark plugs.

The FUCKING SOCKET does not fit into the FUCKING CYLINDER enough for me to FUCKING PULL the FUCKING PLUGS.

This is why I hate working on engines.  You can do everything right and shit still won't work out.  Oh, and not a single fucking store where I live has any 18mm spark plug sockets.  I know.  I've wasted time and gasoline checking.

Why aren't Republican bills on infrastructure, tax reform, and free speech lined up like airplanes on a runway?  Because the GOPe leadership doesn't want reform.  They like things the way they are, which is why they were such a shitshow under Obama's administration.  Mitch McConnell doesn't want Obamacare to go away.  Hell, I'm amazed he stopped Merrick Garland's nomination process, but I think that's because he understood that if he didn't, the GOP would be completely finished before the election.

Nonetheless, the Republican inability to deliver a bill that could get a majority in the GOP-led House is a colossal failure, and pretty much undercuts its entire reason for being. For years the congressional GOP leadership failed to deliver on promises to constituents, and offered the excuse that it couldn’t do anything without control of the White House. Well, they’ve got that, so what’s their excuse now? And where are the bills on infrastructure, on tax reform, on free speech?

The congressional GOP’s failure to deliver on its promises is one of the things that led to the election of President Trump. Now they’re still failing. What comes next?

John Fucking Boehner was the epitome of liberal RINO-hood.  He fought against the conservatives in his own party tooth-and-nail, and managed to give Bathhouse Barry Obumblefuck just about everything he wanted.  Mitch McConnell did the same in the Senate.  And then here comes Paul Ryan, who just a few years before had been Mitten's VP pick, and what's the first thing he does?  He gives Bathhouse Barry Obumblefuck everything he wanted with the CRomnibus bill.

And then they sit around wondering how the hell Trump could have ever won the GOP nomination.

All those Republicans out there shrieking in horror over Trump's budget proposal?  Hey, guess how many budgets they passed under Bathhouse Barry?  ZERO.  Actually, let's make that even simpler.  Guess how many budgets they created and sent to the White House?

FUCKING ZERO!

Maybe if they had been doing their job in the FIRST FUCKING PLACE instead of licking the sweat off of Bathhouse Barry's taint behind closed doors, having an actual budget proposal handed to them wouldn't have been such a shock.

The House Freedom Caucus shot down RyanCare, or RINOCare, or whatever other epithet you want to call it.  Good.  That means the HFC actually understands why the fuck they were voted in and who the fuck voted for them.  Every other squishy GOPe shitbag who made his fucking paycheck by opposing Obamacare and now can't find the fucking BALLS to actually deep-six the damn thing can take a long walk off a short pier while wearing concrete shoes.

The GOP is proving that as a party, they are incapable of actually keeping the promises that they have repeatedly made over the past eight years.  The House Freedom Caucus forced them to actually hold to the values they claim to have, and they're losing their shit about it.  Ryan needs to be removed as Speaker; Mitch McConnell needs to be removed as Senate Majority Leader.  They are better associated with Bathhouse Barry Obumblefuck than they are with any actual conservative voter.  And Trump had better get his shit in one sock and realize that the House Freedom Caucus are not his employees.  They're not people he can dictate to.  They are the small group who is actually representing their voters instead of the special interest groups that infest Washington D.C. like genital warts, and if he pisses them off he'll be pissing off the people who voted for him once, but won't do so twice.

RyanCare fails

Not only was RyanCare a shit sandwich, the bill's roll-out shows a complete and total lack of any real leadership on the part of Paul Ryan and whoever else decided to throw this shit sandwich together.  What a joke.  What a pathetic, sad joke.

But Dave, drug use is a victimless crime!

Uh, nope.  There's always a victim.  Take this story about a 19 year old Alabama girl getting arrested for having sex with a 14 year old boy.

The girl’s grandmother, Peggy Thompson, told the press (via Toronto Sun) that Mekenzie had lived through a difficult childhood, moving from “flea bag motels” to at least one mobile home with parents who abused drugs and who abandoned her to raise her younger brother on her own. Things were looking up when the kids finally went to live with their grandparents. 

Thompson said that Mekenzie got a job at a rug plant after graduating high school, but fell apart after her grandfather died. Unable to work due to an injury, Mekenzie sought companionship and fell in love with a “boy who looked a lot older than 14.” 

The police chief said it was no excuse for what she did, and that she showed no remorse for her actions.

The reason this girl has such a twisted, poor view of relationships is that during her formative years, she didn't have any examples of a good relationship.  This poor kid was set up to fail from the get-go, by parents who abused drugs.

So who's the victim here?  The girl, obviously.  Her brother as well.  The grandparents, although they might be culpable if they're the reason the parents were abusing drugs in the first place.  Sometimes it's a pattern, sometimes it's not.

Who else - the boy?  Meh.  When I was 14, if I had a chance to bang a hot 19 year old I would have jumped on it, both literally and figuratively.

How about the public who now has to support a girl in jail, a child who's mother is in jail (Lord, just how messed up is THAT kid going to be?) and the family of a 14 year old boy who are now grandparents much earlier than they wanted to be?

There are lots of victims from drug use.  You can find them littered all over America.  This is just one example.

The other half

After my little mini-rant the other day, I realized that I made a few of my co-workers look pretty bad. And some of them deserve it.  But there's another side of the spectrum:  the grizzled old coots just hanging on till retirement.

One of the gents who pops in to my office and snags chocolate out of my candy bowl is a LTC with lots of chest salad.  The guy's been there, done that, got the t-shirt.  He uses a standing desk because years of going there and doing that has jacked his back up pretty badly.  He's got about a year left, and then he's happily going out the door and heading to the house.  This guy will never be the "been there for three decades and holding on with his fingernails because he can't do anything else" that you too often see in a USAR unit.  He's got it set up so that when it's his time to go, he's gone.  Riding a motorcycle.  A very nice Dyna-Glide with lots of custom work on it.  I've seen it.  It's shiny.

The point is that there are still some folks sitting in a TDA unit because they have deployed.  Lots.  And while they could deploy again if needed, they're sitting at the end of their careers, hoping to not do any more damage to themselves before they hit their 20.

The reason military folks can retire at 20 years Active Federal Service is that there are a lot of troops who can't make it past that.

So while it doesn't make up for the oxygen-stealing Turd, I at least have some good folks that I work with.

I'm not shocked. Not at all

American men are weaker than ever.

A new study in press at the Journal of Hand Therapy (yes, a real thing) finds that millennial men may have significantly weaker hands and arms than men the same age did 30 years ago. 

Researchers measured the grip strength (how strongly you can squeeze something) and pinch strength (how strongly you can pinch something between two fingers) of 237 healthy full-time students aged 20 to 34 at universities in North Carolina. And especially among males, the reduction in strength compared to 30 years ago was striking.

They study did find that men and women are now about the same, grip-strength wise.  This doesn't shock me at all.  You want to know what didn't exist in huge quantities thirty years ago?  Computers. Video game consoles in every home at every TV.  Boys didn't just sit around and stare at a screen while twiddling their fingers over buttons and toggles and switches.  They went outside.  The rode bikes.  They played stickball.  They ran.  They swung on bars and jungle gyms and they climbed trees.  They made up games and competed in them.

That era is pretty much over, except for those few parents who refuse to allow the electronic games to dominate the day.  But those are as rare as those parents who refuse to give their kids a smart phone, aka a crack toy.

And so we're raising up a generation of girly-men, who are just as likely as their wives to need help opening jars and fixing something around the house.

That's all I got today, folks.  I'm busy at work with multiple projects that take up most of my time and energy.  Not to mention that this particular Command seems to have the largest collection of non-functioning yet still getting paid shitweasels I've seen in a while.

OK, little side rant here.

For those who don't know, not all soldiers get deployed.  If you're in an MTOE unit (look it up if you must, it's most of the Army units) you can get deployed.  But if you're in a TDA unit, you won't.  The Command I'm in, and the downtrace units, are all TDA units.

Now, we've done our level best to recruit people who have already been deployed.  Lots of our folks are instructors, and Soldiers take instruction best from people who have actually been there, done that.  But keep in mind that these are all reserve units.  So much of the people who run the admin/planning/ops side of the house have been there for years.  Decades.  And there are multiple people who have managed to sit in these units and not do a damn thing.  It still amazes me when I see a senior officer or NCO who hasn't been anywhere or done anything.  Even if you haven't been over to the current theater of operations, if you've been in the Army for three decades you should have been SOMEWHERE.  Bosnia.  Panama.  Grenada.  Hell, Operation Brightstar.  We have operations going on all over the globe.  Africa.  Europe somewhere.  Something.

Nope.  I'm dealing with one oxygen thief who literally has not been a single place or done a single thing in their entire Army career.  They're about to hit their mandatory retirement date.  That's age 60, folks.  They're MY RANK.  And have been for almost as long as I've been in the Army.

Not surprisingly, this particular turd is also a huge problem with their inactivity.  Entire programs have gone neglected while they have sat on their ass and cashed their paychecks.  I would say that about half my energy is going into fixing all the shit that's been screwed up because this loser was put in charge.

Let me give you an example.  One of my people at the lower units was having difficulty with units above them.  They couldn't get a response from any level.  I was still new in my position, and I'm in their technical chain if not their actual chain of command, so I help them out as much as I can, but ask them "Why didn't you ask so-and-so at your higher unit?"

They didn't even know the Turd existed.  The Turd has occupied that position for six years, and the people the Turd is responsible for didn't even know they were there.

Folks, when I get into a new position, the first thing I do is find out where my people are and make damn sure they know who the hell I am.  This Turd didn't even bother contacting their personnel in SIX FUCKING YEARS.

I can't get into too many details, for obvious reasons.  But I'm working my hardest to get them moved out of their position.  Thing is, I don't have any direct authority over their position, otherwise they would have been gone six months ago.  So I have to do dope deals, work the networks, etc.  When they finally sail off into the sunset, I'll be a happy man.

Anyways, off to bed.

This isn't just bad law, this is extraordinarily bad law that will help destroy the entire Rule of Law as we know it.  This judge doesn't just deserve to be disbarred, he deserves to be thrown in jail.  That's how bad this ruling is.  This ruling completely ignores the Rule of Law and instead creates new law based on Marxist, globalist bullshit.

This is how your Leftist masters want you to live.  Where they can control the rules of the game and change them at a whim.

So by now you should all know that the paid protesters who were camping out to try to stop the Dakota Access Pipeline left a lot of trash behind.  Like, tons of trash.  Literally tons and tons of trash.

Apparently, they also left behind dogs.  They just abandoned them and walked away.

A Florida company hired by the Standing Rock Sioux tribe to clean up the remains of the Dakota Access Pipeline protest says they’ve finally finished hauling away all the garbage left at the temporary camp—and it filled 835 Dumpsters at a cost of $1.1 million. 

They also found four more dogs, bringing the grand total of abandoned animals rescued from the camps to 12.

This is the sort of thing that makes my vision go red.  It's bad enough that you're lying about why you're there.  It's bad enough that you're collecting a paycheck in order to prevent American jobs and American energy from flowing.  But then, oh great environmental activist, you leave shit and trash all over the area you claim to care about, and you leave behind animals who were only brought out there because of YOU!

It takes a special, soul-less kind of parasite to trash a site AND abandon helpless animals.

Southern Illinois University will soon host a month-long series of “nap-ins” to help guide students on their “internal journey to diversity.” 

According to The Daily Egyptian, the Illinois college will offer four two-hour napping sessions for interested students who would like to “internally generate” “dreams of diversity.”

According to your humble host, that literally makes them toddlers who are throwing their money away in "college".

“The nap-ins are part of the internal journey to diversity. All dreams start while sleeping,” explained Marissa Amposta, student coordinator of the event, noting that her nap-ins will take place in the rotunda of the campus library, and that students will be able to share their dreams on a fabric scroll displayed nearby. 

Meanwhile, the team has set up a labyrinth of sorts surrounding the fabric scroll in a metaphorical ploy to “help guide students to their dreams,” Amposta explained.

At this point, short of having a degree that's actually focused on a specific job or field, such as the hard sciences or an MDiv or something of that nature, a fancy sheepskin that ends in "Arts" or "Studies" disincentives people who are hiring.  "Oh, great, you have a degree in Liberal Arts with a minor in Foreign Film Studies.  Are you sure you can handle the fry cooker?  Ooops, wait, that's being done by a robot now.  Sorry pal, we don't need you."

I was gassing up on my way home from work this evening, when I saw what I thought was just about the picture-perfect representation of a Progressive shitwad.  He's that guy who pulls in at the wrong side of the pump.  He's got the hose stretched out as far as it can go so that he can pump gas on the wrong side of the pump.  His door is open.  He's on the phone, ignoring everyone around him.  He's not fat, exactly, but he's a plump little fucking dumpling with a gut and a physique that says he's never done a day of hard labor in his life.  His hair looks like he's never used a comb.  He's got Washington D.C. plates with an "Elizabeth Warren for Massachusetts" bumper sticker.  People trying to leave the pump have to honk at his fucking ass so that he gets out of their way and closes his door, which he does with an snotty look on his soft, fat fucking face.  And I swear to you, I fucking SWEAR to you, that it took every last bit of self-control I had to not grab my tire iron and beat the ever-loving FUCK out of this slimy, greasy, unkempt, snotty, arrogant, self-absorbed fucking parasitic genital wart.  Just for the good of the country, because there's no fucking way in hell that worthless fucking shitstain contributes ONE GOT-DAMMED IOTA OF WORTH TO THIS NATION.

Multnomah County, OR legal system proven to be Kangaroo Kourt

Laws?  Who needs 'em when you can cook up some BS and enforce your politics via the legal system?

If ever there was a clear cut case of self defense, this was it. But a leftist, activist judge in a leftist county decided to ignore the facts and the law and condemn Mike for doing what any rational person in his position would have done. 

Multnomah County has sent a message loud and clear. If you riot, attack people and destroy property, you will be protected. If you try to defend yourself from criminals, you will be convicted and jailed. It is simple insanity. What Judge Ryan and D.A. Underhill have said is this. “If you come to Multnomah County and a gang of thugs attacks you, lie down and take the beating. If you are not killed, you will be better off than if you defend yourself and we get ahold of you.”

The last time I was in Portland or Multnomah County was years ago.  But I won't be going back any time soon, because I"ll be damned if I put myself into a situation where I could go to jail despite following the law and doing everything right.  The time and money I have for vacations and various other niceties are rather limited; I'm not going to waste it on a municipality that hates me.

No, really.  The lying liars who lie are actually holding Fake Town Hall meetings in an effort to embarrass Republican members of Congress.

Went out to dinner last night

We were going to be out for a while and get back late, so we went and got Chinese food.  The restaurant had a TV on.  It was playing CNN.

And the Democrat Party is even worse.  I hadn't heard of Senator Murphy from Connecticut until last night.  I wish I'd never heard of him.  He and Wolf Blitzer had a mutual masturbation session where they confirmed to each other that Donald Trump is Hitler, only with more lies and hatey-ness.

Didn't watch it.  Went to bed.  Read the transcript this morning.  Also saw the disgusting behavior of the Democrats documented, which is part of the reason I didn't watch them.  I don't need to have my blood pressure spiked by watching the anti-American shitbag Democrats act the way they normally do.

It was a good speech, all in all.  And Trump has shown that he's still inside the Democrat's OODA loop.

Hollywood is always good for hypocrisy

Someone flew his eyebrow artist 7500 miles to do his friggin' EYEBROWS for the Oscars.

That's about ten gazzilion times more CO2 for EYEBROWS for one night than I put out all year.

Screw Hollywood, and any Hollywood star that wants to lecture me on my carbon footprint can to fuck themselves with a running chainsaw.

Second - Mystic Monk coffee is in the sidebar under "Be A Man".  It's coffee brewed by a monastery in Wyoming who roast and sell beans online to fund their place.  Their coffee is good.  Real good.  But their FTO Ethiopian is hands down some of the best coffee I have ever had in my life.  Best of all it's high caffeine and low acid, which means the Mrs. can drink it without issue.  This is the only brand of coffee we have in our house.  Period.

60% of Obamacare defenders are paid to post on social media.

A majority of online and social media defenders of Obamacare are professionals who are "paid to post," according to a digital expert.

"Sixty percent of all the posts were made from 100 profiles, posting between the hours of 9 and 5 Pacific Time," said Michael Brown. "They were paid to post." 

His shocking analysis was revealed on this weekend's Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson, broadcast on Sinclair stations and streamed live Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Her upcoming show focuses on information wars and Brown was describing what happened when he had a problem with Obamacare and complained online. 

Brown said that social media is used to manipulate opinion, proven in the last presidential election.

Obamacare has been, is, and always will be a bag full of toxic crap, sold with lies, pushed by communists, and defended by hacks.

Conservatives ask us to be better than we are. Liberals ask us to be worse. They tell us that we ought to be angry and feel sorry for ourselves. And that if we don't have what we want, we ought to take it from others. 

At the heart of this is a deeper question. 

If a right is freedom, then freedom demands responsibility. But if a right is entitlement, then it's a demand. A demand that others give us what we deserve. 

Free people fight for independence. But the left's revolutions are struggles for tyranny. They protest for better masters. They violently agitate for rulers who will run their lives better.

This really does explain the childish pathology of the Left.  Responsibility is hard.  Taking ownership if yourself, your actions, and their consequences, is hard.  Which is why the Left avoids it.  Instead, they act like the children that they mentally are:  blame others.  Never take responsibility.  Ask someone else to take care of them.  Gimme gimme gimme.

That's why socialist societies always end in failure and ruin, without exception.  Building and maintaining a society, a country, is difficult.  It's hard.  It means that people must take responsibility for themselves and things under their purview.  When the mental children run things and enforce their socialism, then you get the cliques, the snobbish elitists, the breakdown of things that used to work.

The Right demands that you do better.  The Left demands that YOU do better so that THEY don't have to.

Priests who sexually abuse children are not good, Jorge.  They have no place in any position of authority.  Their only position in the church should be locked in a cell, praying daily that God forgive their sins.  If it's absolutely necessary to keep them in some position, then it should be as a monk, in a monastery far, far away from anyone else.  There, they can spend the rest of their life in monastic contemplation of the damage that they have caused, and beg God to forgive them.

What should never, ever, EVER happen, Jorge is for some white-clad imposter to sit on Peter's throne and make it easier for child abusers and pedos to go back into a church and continue doing what they did.

He just took away these spoiled babies' best opportunity to throw a public snit by telling the whole world how they weren't going.  A bunch of them had been making noises to that effect in any case, so he got inside their OODA loop and popped a missile up their tail.

More importantly, it's another handprint on the media's face.  They're not important enough for Trump to attend their dinner.

Maybe, just maybe sometime in the next four years the media will understand just why a YUUUUUUGE chunk of the country considers them the enemy.
