Books featuring nude young boys and gay men were showcased in his master bedroom, in the arcade room, and in the master bathroom and were used to "groom" his victims to lower their inhibitions so they could be molested, investigators say.

Michael Jackson was a demented pervert who liked to have sex with little boys.  We all know this.  It was a running gag for years.  People still paid to see his concerts.  Hollywood still protected their boy, just like they defend Roman Polanski, who drugged, raped and sodomized a 14 year old girl.

Attorney General Loretta Lynch admitted today that the FBI is unaware of the whereabouts of Omar Mateen's wife, Noor Salman.  

Salman has indicated she suspected Mateen was about to commit a terrorist attack, and even accompanied him to buy the weaponry he used to carry out the massacre. She insists, however, that as he left she tried to hold onto his arm so he wouldn't leave.
If the FBI believes she was aware of the impending attack, she could be prosecuted.  

"Has the shooter’s wife left the state of Florida?" a reporter asked Lynch during her press conference Tuesday. 

"Right now, I don’t know exactly the answer to that," Lynch candidly replied. "I believe she was going to travel but I do not know exactly her location now."

I take back what I said yesterday.  Loretta Lynch is not a smart woman.  She is horrifically stupid, which is par for the course with the Obama administration.

Surfing past Fox News this morning, I heard someone report on a poll about what caused the massacre in Orlando. Apparently, most Republicans believe it was caused by Islamic extremism, whereas most Democrats believe it was caused by “domestic gun violence.” 

But the massacre was domestic gun violence. Democrats might just as well say that murder caused the murders.

The Left forces itself into idiocy.  They subjugate themselves to indoctrination in order to belong to their hive mind collective.  It's why bumper sticker slogans are so popular on the Left.  It doesn't take much brain power to regurgitate a Leftist slogan, and in order to actually believe those Leftist memes adorning various cars you have to make yourself stupid.

The Left has abandoned the gays, but they made damn sure that the gays would keep coming back like an abused wife.  "Oh, but he didn't mean it!  Oh, but he loves me!"

Which means that the DNC could rape and then lynch a black gay man in downtown NYC, and post "Fuck you, Nigger Faggot" on Twitter and Instagram and facebook and Snapchat....

...and the blacks and gays would still both turn out in droves to vote for the Left's candidate of the day.  And they would tell Conservatives that "It's OK when they do it!"

No matter what happens in the world, the Left looks for a cause in the tenets of their faith. In this case, it is Magic Shape Theory that says shaping metal into a gun imbues it with the power to take possession of a human, making them into a killer. 

This is why they never seem to lose focus on their causes, no matter how many times their cause has been rejected. Disarming the sinners, the bad whites they imagine are holding up the final ascent into the promised land, is a defining goal. After the Civil War, they wanted to murder all the bad whites. I'm having a hard time getting my knickers in a twist over the Orlando shooting.  I know that I should be all morally outraged because TEH GAYS WERE TARGETED, but I'm not.  And here's why.

Gays in America are a monolithic Leftist bloc of voters.  They've voted for every scheme and plan the Left has put forward, including all the schemes and plans that make it easier for Muslims to come to America, make it harder to filter out Islamists, make it harder to deal with Islamists, and to put a halt to making war on Islamists like ISIL/ISIS/Al Qaeda in the Middle East.  The gays, as a block, are huge fans of Obama, and Obama is the most Islamist friendly guy in America right now.  Obama can't even say the words "Islam" and "terrorism" in the same speech.  And the gays vote for him in droves.  Monolithic.  Look, the reason that Milo Yanopo...  Yeanopou...  that blonde-haired guy from England named Milo is such a rarity is because he's a conservative gay man.  And that almost never happens.  There's a reason why San Francisco is the gayest and most liberal city in America.

So gays in America have been massive supporters of the kinds of policies that make the Orlando shooting not only possible, but inevitable.  Gays have tied their boats to the Islamist movement, supporting Hamas, Fatah, the Muslim Brotherhood, and every other Islamist movement who hates America.  Because in the end, I think a lot of gays hate America too.  Or they hate the Judeo-Christian values that America was founded on, and that a lot of conservatives still consider important.

The organizations and people that the gay movement supports are out there calling for banning guns, and saying that guns and "homegrown extremism" are the problem, not Islamic terrorism.  I want you to take a good hard look at the idiocy vomited forth by prominent gay public faces, such as this:

Even after the worst terrorist attack in America since September 11th, the Left, which includes almost all the gay folks in America, can't bring themselves to deal with the cause of the attack, that being Islamism.  Nope, it's those bible-thumping, sister-humping, gun-toting Jesus freaks that are the problem to the Left.

There comes a point where you can only watch someone poison themselves for so long before you're numb to it.  When I see the Left and the gay movement respond to an Islamist attack by blaming Christians and gun owners, my "give-a-damn" meter plummets to zero.

I can pray for them to see the error in their ways and beg for forgiveness from God.  But I can't work myself up into a lather over the attack.  The seeds of this attack were sown by the people who were targeted.  And for that, I can only say that actions have consequences.  And the Left is determined not to learn from those consequences, which means it will happen again.  And again.  And again.

So be it.  It won't be me getting shot to hell in a gay night club.

Three batches bubbling

Started a batch of mead a few weeks ago - cherry melomel with fresh cherries.  Yesterday I started a batch of mead with the very last of the cranberry bog honey from Wisconsin, and a batch of hard cider with Honeycrisp apple cider.  All three are bubbling away happily.

Given that half of what I made in California turned into absolute crap, I'm interested to see what my brews do here in VA.  At the very least, we don't have the wild temperature swings that we did in SoCal.  Plus, we have a basement here that will allow me to keep things cool (or cool-ish) and dark.  Just about every thing we made in Wisconsin came out a winner.  I'd like to get back up to that level again.

The proper response is "No".

The situation is that a group in Italy is asking a parish to "pray silently" to avoid upsetting African "migrants".

And that is flat out wrong.

These parishioners need to pray the rosary out loud, with the certainty that God does not want his flock to be silent in HIS OWN HOUSE.

And I would say to this supposed Catholic charity, who apparently are ashamed of their own faith and wish to see it silenced, that if the Middle East were a Catholic region, instead of a miserable festering shithole of Islam, which is nothing more than a cult started by a pedophile moon-god worshipper, then they wouldn't HAVE the migrant problem that they're currently facing.  Maybe THAT is what needs to be clearly stated.

Catholicism and praying the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary is not the problem here.  And those "migrants", those people begging for succor and running away from their Islamic societies, need to be reminded of that.

Doctors abandon insurance, go with cash only business model.  I truly wish I could find one of these places around where I live.  I'd have the Mrs. go there rather than trusting on Tricare.  Tricare, being a government insurance plan, pays out almost nothing to the doctors, and hence is accepted in fewer and fewer places.  Medicare is being accepted in fewer and fewer places.  This isn't an "accident".  The government cannot run a massive program with any kind of success.  They just can't.  Name one government program in my lifetime that has done the job it was given up to standard and without going over budget - you can't.  It.  Does.  Not.  Exist.

I'm honestly happy to see doctors turning away from insurance, because too many people today don't even understand what they're paying for their health care.

While the cash-only model may please doctors, some question whether it's good for middle- and low-income people.  

Kathleen Stoll, director of health policy at the consumer advocacy group Families U.S.A., didn't want to speak directly to either Petersen's or Nunamaker's practice, as she didn't know the specifics of each.  

But in general, she fears that doctors who switch to a cash-only model will drive away the patients who can't afford a monthly membership fee or thousands of dollars for an operation.

I don't know, how bad will it be when people are paying thousands of dollars per month for health insurance that isn't accepted by any doctors around them, Ms. Stoll?  Hell, people on Obamacare are already finding it hard to get a doctor to accept their plan, which I think is just awesome.  The sooner Obamacare fails the better.

I get it.  I really do.  He wasn't my last pick, but he wasn't my first pick either.  Trump isn't conservative.  I get that as well, but I would respond with the fact that the GOP isn't really conservative either.  When your last two Presidential Candidates are John "Fuck You, Conservatives!" McCain and Mitt "I Invented Obamacare First!" Romney, you cannot claim to be a party of conservative principal.

But let me just lay this out for you.  If you turn up your nose and vote third party, Hillary wins.

Also finally ordered a shield for the bike.

And it'll look much like that once it's installed on mine.  It's smaller than a standard touring shield, but that's not too big a deal.  As long as I don't have to fight to stay upright like I did a couple weeks ago.  It'll get here Friday, and I figure I can install it sometime next week.

I'm not such a great wordsmith that I think I should be writing an epoch every year for this day.  Rather, I would re-post or re-print the words of those who's skill at writing far outweigh mine.  Therefore, I'm posting what I think is one of the best memorial speeches ever given, although it was given before the concept of Memorial Day came into being.

Got my hands in a beehive today

There's a bee keeper who doesn't mind teaching new folks.  I got to help check for queens, look at honey production, and check overall hive health on a few hives before the rain set in.

I doubt I'm going to keep bees here because I don't want to set everything up just in order to move in a couple of years, but knowledge is power, and knowing how to take care of bees will help me when I eventually retire and start setting up orchards and gardens and everything else that I can have when I don't have to move every three years.

Plus, this guy just likes having someone to teach.  So I get to benefit from that.

Been traveling.  Now home.  Can't wait to drink my scotch and sleep in my own bed.

Just add this to their tally.  The hatred in this country comes from the Left, as it has for over a century.  It was the Left who loved fascism and Mussolini.  It was the Left who loved National Socialism and Hitler, until it became politically inadvisable to admit such a fact.  And you can see the very same tactics used by fascist and Nazis and Leftists of all stripes being used today by the Leftists who hate the fact that a man like Donald Trump is even allowed to speak in public.

Allergy season continues

I'm waiting for this whole "Local Pollen Alert" thing to go away.  If the rain wasn't keeping the pollen down I'd be sucking even worse.  But that's a two-sided sword, because if we don't get some sunlight soon, folks around here are going to start growing gills.

Some of the plants in our garden are dying because of too much water.  And there's really not a darn thing we can do about it.

Mitch McConnell has been a complete and total disaster for the GOP, but rather than step aside and let someone try to fix the damage, he's doubling down on his stupidity.  If the GOP ends up in the ash-heap of history, it will be because of Mitch McConnell, John Boehner and Paul Ryan.  Oh, there's lots of other people who have roles, but those three men are most directly at fault.

The GOP controls Congress.  They have done nothing to oppose Obama, and have literally given Obama ALMOST EVERYTHING HE WANTS.

So if you haven't seen the report, Ben Rhodes, who for some reason is a Foreign Policy writer for Obama, even though his foreign policy experience seems to be sampling various types of marijuana from around the globe, recently let the cat out of the bag that not only did the Obama administration lie their ass off about the Iran deal, but they sold the lies to a willing and gullible press.  I think I wrote something about it previously.  Anyways....

Some folks are aghast about how bluntly he admitted to lying to the press, and how he crowed about how stupid and worthless the media is.

My question is this:  Just what do you think the media is going to do about it?  Retaliate somehow?

A new name for the dog

Our little dog, a Jack Russell mix, has taken to the new digs rather well.  To wit, he enjoys running up and down the back of the couch, and laying on it to watch the birds at the feeder.  His actions reminded the Mrs. of a cat we used to have, and she started calling him "Kitty".  He now answers to "Kitty".

So I have a Jack Russell named "Kitty".  This ought to go well.

Why I think there will always be a hard copy of data

CDs.  DVDs.  Paper.  Some form of holding on to data that can't be wiped out with a magnet or by a hacker.  Or by Apple.

What Amber explained was exactly what I’d feared: through the Apple Music subscription, which I had, Apple now deletes files from its users’ computers. When I signed up for Apple Music, iTunes evaluated my massive collection of Mp3s and WAV files, scanned Apple’s database for what it considered matches, then removed the original files from my internal hard drive. REMOVED them. Deleted. If Apple Music saw a file it didn’t recognize—which came up often, since I’m a freelance composer and have many music files that I created myself—it would then download it to Apple’s database, delete it from my hard drive, and serve it back to me when I wanted to listen, just like it would with my other music files it had deleted.

If I were a composer, I wouldn't use Apple Music one bit.  But, getting back to my point, an EMP can't wipe out my CDs.  Not that I think I'm going to get hit by an EMP, but the point stands; short of a house fire, my CDs are still going to be usable so long as I have the hardware capable of using them.  Everything degrades over time, but I was listening to some tapes my dad had stored since....  oh, since cassette tapes first came out, and they're still good on average.  CDs don't have the storage problems tapes have.  The biggest problem with CDs right now is the fact that all of the "re-mastered" crap out there is just the same songs with every channel bumped up to max, and it sounds like crap.  Because it's designed to be played at max volume in a nightclub.

I always try to have a hard copy back up.  Because digital files are too easily destroyed, hacked, damaged, etc.  Yes, they're easy to use.  But don't trust them to hold important information.  "OMG DAVE BUT THE CLOUD IS SO AWESOME!" Yep.  That's what hackers think too.  It's awesome.  Go ahead and put your social security number out there.

The US Navy is spread too thin?

It ain't just the Navy, hoss.  The article goes on to detail just how thin the Navy is spread, and I don't disagree with the conclusion.  But every branch of our military is spread too thin right now.  If we had to deal with multiple theaters (say, North Korea and Iran at the same time) as well as meet our current obligations, it would take every single Soldier in the Active Duty, Reserve and Guard.

I can lay blame for this all over Washington D.C.  I've said most of it before.  But it's just something to keep in mind.

A.B.C - Always Be Cleaning

So the people who lived in this house before we got here were...  in a word, trash.  And that's also a good description of what they did to the place.  The Mrs. and I hauled five bags of trash out of the woods behind our house, and there's still more to clean up.  I have a burn barrel now.  Not because I wanted one, but because I hauled an empty 55 gallon steel drum out of the woods and figured "Well, it's good for something!"

There were layers of leaves from the years they didn't rake, and there was trash in-between each layer.  The yard, if you want to call it that, is whatever weeds were able to poke through the leaves.

And inside the house, they smoked cigarettes.  Many, many cigarettes.  I finished steam-cleaning the carpet in what will be the music room, and for a house that had been "cleaned" prior to us moving in, I got what I consider to be proof that they didn't clean jack shit out of the carpet.  Not by the color of the water that I pulled out.

Hey, guess what I'm doing tonight after I get home?

I'm back home.

The cleanup crew began work at 6 a.m. and did not leave until 10 p.m.

Yes, I know there are medical marijuana users out there.  Got it.  Duly noted.  The 20 year old, dreadlocked, hemp-wearing pot smoker I lived next to in Seattle did NOT have glaucoma or any other medical issues that would have required the use of THC.  If you're in chronic pain, then I don't begrudge you any chemicals that can help you live a normal live.

But that's about 1% or less of the actual marijuana users in this country.  The rest of 'em?  Just wanna get high.

"But Dave, what's wrong with that, huh?!  Why do you care what they do to themselves?!"

Because I, and the rest of the bill payers in America, are the ones who have to pay to pick up the pieces.  Just like the three-pack-a-day smoker who drinks a fifth of Jack Daniels most likely doesn't have the money to pay for his open-heart surgery and liver transplant, the drug users of today are going to be the ones sucking up all the resources later in life.  And the people like me, who quit smoking, who work out to stay healthy, to make healthy choices so that we can be happy later in life, will be the ones who end up paying for it in one fashion or another.

Remove the cost from society, and I say that people can do whatever they wish.  But if I'm going to be forced to pay for it (and we're paying for it today, trust me) then I'm going to oppose any expansion that would force me to pay even more.

Besides, habitual use of marijuana lowers your intelligence.  Want proof?  I say we round up a bunch of Bernie Sanders voters, and a bunch of Ted Cruz voters.  Poll them:  Who smokes pot?

The Sanders voters are toking up daily, I'd bet you all the cash in my wallet.  Cruz voters?  Not so much.  Ta daaaa!  Point made!

New York Values

The city that overwhelmingly votes for Bill de Blasio, Chuck Schumer, Charlie Rangel, Hillary Clinton, and Nanny Bloomberg also voted for Trump.

Yes, I know that upstate New York isn't NYC.  Most of the upstate folks I've worked with couldn't stand NYC at all.  But let's be honest.  The political state of New York is a gigantic city that controls huge swaths of open territory.

So, to refresh the topic:  The city that overwhelmingly supports Barack Hussein Obama and Hillary Clinton also supports Donald Trump.

I've been tearing into the property with abandon, and the Mrs. has been needing help putting her garden beds up.  So I'm a bit sore right now.  But we have four garden beds ready for planting.  The Mrs. has already seeded the ten different squash mounds and the strawberry bed that we're growing the Heirloom berries in.  On top of that, we have two beds of strawberries transplanted from a neighbor's house who didn't want them (long story on that), two new rose bushes to help close a gap in the vegetation (digging in this rock/clay mix they call dirt is NOT fun) and I spent a goodly portion of Saturday tromping around with a sprayer of Round-up Brush Killer hosing down anything that might even possibly hint at being poison ivy.

Yeah, apparently poison ivy loves Virginia, kinda like Ike loved Tina.  But not in my yard, you toxic little bitch!

So since we now have garden beds, and I've already stated that the rock and clay they call "dirt" around here sucks, which means we had to bring dirt in to fill it.  And since we don't have a tractor or other machinery, that means I got to shovel and move five cubic yards of dirt by hand.

Oh yeah, baby.  That's a work-out.

Anyways, I didn't spend much time online this weekend.  And how we get ready for work!  YAY!

"White Privilege" features prominently.  As does the "Patriarchal Christian Hegemony".  Go figure.  THIS IS WHAT THEY ARE TEACHING YOUR KIDS, PEOPLE!  If you're forced to keep your kids in the Marxist Indoctrination System that is the publik skoolz, are you at least working on un-indoctrinating them when they get home?

Last week an article by the Chronicle Herald detailed multiple instances of Syrian refugees assaulting Canadian children. The article featured comments by a woman nicknamed "Missy" who explained how her daughter had been choked with a chain and her son had been visibly threatened on the soccer field. 

The story was pulled soon after it was posted with members of the left-wing media decrying the story as "racist," "Islamophobic," "xenophobic" or simply just not true. 

In place of the story, an apologetic message was left in its place saying the story needed more research and was "insensitive" to the refugees.

Watch the video.  This is what they do in their countries, folks.  And this is what they do in ours.  The sheer stupidity of the people who welcome Islamic refugees with open arms astounds me.  And the arrogance of the people doing the welcoming...  "Oh, the cute little brown people need help!  Aren't we so nice?  Aren't we so generous?  Hey, what happened to my daughter?"

Do.  Not.  Let.  Them.  In!  You want to help people?  Help them in THEIR country, because you do not want this culture in yours.

And that's not racist, folks.  Not by a long shot, not if you enjoy having your sons and daughters un-molested and left alone.

This isn't unusual

Bernie Sanders pays a 13.5% Federal Tax rate.  Yep, the guy howling about making people "pay their fair share" pays a smaller tax rate than I do, while making about five times what I make.

But folks, this is not abnormal for a Leftist, Socialist, big-government shithead.  He's not just some indoctrinated drone out of college, he's the guy in charge.  The guys in charge in a socialist movement or country never lower themselves to the standards they force upon everyone else!  While the Russian peasants starved and shivered in a bread line, the Soviet leadership ate steak and caviar in their dachas.  Hugo Chavez, before he finally died and went straight to hell, was worth over two billion dollars, but the people in his socialist country couldn't buy milk or toilet paper.

This.  Is.  What.  Happens.  In.  Socialism.  The rich get richer.  The poor get poorer, and the rules are NOT the same for everybody.

So am I shocked that Sanders pays a lower tax rate than I do?  No.  It's what Socialists do.  Hell, how many people at MSNBC still haven't paid their taxes?  It's what they do!

What amazes me is that he actually released his tax returns and allowed people to see the curtain get pulled back a bit.

When the headlines are bragging "Katy Perry: 1, Nuns: 0" then you lose.  You're a loser.  Period.

There might not be much you can hold constant in this world, but one of the most constant things is this:  When you're fighting a bunch of octogenarian nuns, you're on the wrong side of the conflict.  It really is that simple.

When my mother was growing up, STDs were relatively rare.  They existed, but not on a wide scale.

Heard that on the car radio and almost spit coffee all over my windshield.  No, sorry Trump fans, Cruz didn't want to ban dildos.  He was doing the job he was supposed to do as Solicitor General.

And may I make a point here?  Dildos are commodities, not a right.  Texas was perfectly legal in saying "You can't sell those here".  And people would leave Texas or not, to go to some state that didn't ban the sale.

There are still dry counties all over this country where you can't buy booze, or at least not on certain days.  That's perfectly constitutional as well.

Please, please, please, understand:  The Constitution is a list of things that the government cannot do. And it says quite plainly that if it isn't spelled out in the Constitution, then it's left up to the States or to the People.  So buying dildos is NOT a Constitutional right.  Whether or not you agree with the law is one thing, but it's not even a Constitutional issue.  And by making it a Constitutional issue, you open up Pandora's box.

But anyways, in case someone runs up to you and screams "TED CRUZ WANTS TO BAN DILDOS!" now you can set them straight.  I doubt that Ted Cruz even cares about dildos.
