As others have pointed out, if you've been paying attention, this isn't really news.  But for the cattle and sheep who make up the vast majority of Democrat voters, and the people in the middle who don't bother to keep up with events, this is huge.  Here's a taste:

Once again, the press from across the pond are the ones breaking the stories about American politics. Here's another possible motive for why Comey re-opened the investigation.

'Some people, including department heads, stopped talking to Jim, and even ignored his greetings when they passed him in the hall,' said the source. 'They felt that he betrayed them and brought disgrace on the bureau by letting Hillary off with a slap on the wrist.' 

According to the source, Comey fretted over the problem for months and discussed it at great length with his wife, Patrice.  

He told his wife that he was depressed by the stack of resignation letters piling up on his desk from disaffected agents. The letters reminded him every day that morale in the FBI had hit rock bottom.

The FBI was one of the few agencies in the entire US government that still had some shreds of integrity left after Obama and Clinton turned the government into their own private gangster group.  Comey tossed that integrity out the window when he refused to prosecute Clinton for her multiple felonies.  And the rank and file of the FBI were furious.  ARE furious.

And it's amazing how much you can learn when you read a newspaper that isn't staffed with Democrats all desperate to get Hillary Clinton elected.

I wonder

We all know that Obama, Lynch and Clinton pulled James Comey into a room and put the screws to him, in order to ensure that he understand that Hillary Clinton would not be persecuted for her multiple felonies that she committed.  We don't know how he was threatened, but only an idiot would think that he wasn't given a talking to like some mob flunkie that the boss needed to "chat" with.

So he goes out, and for all intents and purposes flushes the FBI's reputation and integrity down the shitter, so that Hillary can keep campaigning.

I wonder if this re-opening of the case is James Comey's revenge?  I wonder if Comey saw his chance to hit back, and took it?

Boston Butt in the smoker

Five and a half pounds.  It's been sitting in there, bathing in smoke from cherry wood since 1100 this morning.

Finished casing and packaging the bratwurst.  Eighteen pounds, or thereabouts.  It's grilling season again!

Tomorrow after church - more bottling and brewing.  The cider we bottled and primed last weekend is ready to drink right now, and the Mrs. loves it.  It's more of an Irish cider than an English cider; somewhat sweet (but not sugary sweet) and full mouthfeel.  She's in love.  I might just get a little extra "thanks" tonight!  Depends on how much she drinks....

If the Media investigated Hillary like they did Nixon, we wouldn't need WikiLeaks.

It has now been more than four decades since the Washington Post and New York Times led the charge to bring down Richard Nixon and his administration’s massive web of corruption and political subterfuge schemes. They did so by aggressively and tirelessly seeking out the truth, and reporting back to the American people clearly and comprehensively. 

Today, both publications have become willing accomplices in suppressing the same type of information they worked so tenaciously to expose all those years ago. By openly and unapologetically acting as institutional surrogates for the Clinton campaign, these same institutions, and nearly every other mainstream media outlet in America, have gone hands-off in exposing what may very well turn out to be the most explosive and damaging corruption scandal in American politics since “Tricky Dick” was reelected back in ’72. 

Not by coincidence, Julian Assange and WikiLeaks have stepped in to fill the void. And boy, are the “truth seekers” mad about that!

If you create a vacuum, something will come to fill the void.  Since the media in this country is now nothing more than the propaganda wing of the Democrat Party, other parties have come forward to fill the vacuum left by the media abandoning all principles and integrity.  Don't be shocked if they're a bit less than savory.  They're doing the job the media refuses to do.

That said, a paradox exists that cannot be ignored. Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and the mainstream media are all telling us that Putin and Assange are the bad guys. Bad guys they might be, but in effect they are providing information to the American people that Clinton and Obama do not want them to have, because if the American people have this information, they would not approve of what Clinton and President Obama have done. 

Color me reactionary, but I don’t think Putin and Assange are the folks we should be most concerned about right now. They are only influencing the election based upon larger disclosure of the facts. Clinton, Obama, and the media are influencing the election based on attempts to suppress and distort the facts.

I'll take the lesser of two evils right now, and that's WikiLeaks.  As Clinton and Obama have proven over and over and over,. they are domestic enemies to the US Constitution, and they are a greater evil than WikiLeaks could ever possibly be.

A slew of vicious, “flash mob”-style attacks at Temple University left at least six students beaten and bloodied over the weekend, along with a cop and a police horse. 

More than 150 teens, spread out in groups of 20 or 30, descended upon the campus at around 8:30 p.m. on Friday — wreaking havoc for nearly two hours before eventually dispersing, according to NBC 10.

If these kids had been white, or Oriental, I'm pretty sure we would have read about it.

The horde seemed to be targeting people at random during the attacks — pummeling them, destroying their personal items and even robbing them in some instances. 

In one incident, a female student named Christina Laulette was beaten to a bloody pulp and hospitalized after a group of youths ganged up on her and two others.

Beaten to a bloody pulp.  And young Miss Laulette's father lets the cat out of the bag:

“Her and her 2 male friends where badly beaten by a group of 30-40 black teenagers on their way home from the Temple football game,” her father, Joe Lauletta, recalled in a Facebook post on Saturday night.

It's hard for me, when I work with people from all over this country, to shift into a "me-vs-them" mindset just based on skin color.  But do you EVER see mobs of white kids issuing beat downs?  Do you see Korean kids running down Wilshire Boulevard playing the Knock-Out Game?  Do we have gangs of Scandinavian kids running wild through Minneapolis-St. Paul?

No.  We don't.  What do we see?  Black mobs attacking people at random.  Mexican thugs assaulting people at Trump rallies in California.  Every liberal "favored" group, destroying the civilization that other people have built.  And quite frankly I'm getting tired of it.

I love my black co-workers, and I'd defend them to the death.  But I wouldn't go into their neighborhood, and for good reasons.  Hell, even some of them don't go back to the neighborhoods they grew up in!  I worked with a guy who had to deal with "He ain't a real niggah!" every time he went home!

A country cannot live like this.  You cannot have one group of people consistently committing violence against another group, while simultaneously calling the group being attacked "racist" and telling them that they have "privilege".

Yes, the system is rigged

Kurt Schlichter lays it out, and does it well.  He also points out that when the game is rigged, we have no obligation to honor the system that's rigged against us.

The system is manifestly rigged – even Heap Big Chief Warren used to say so until a memo informed her that this meme is now inconvenient – so spare me your sanctimonious crap about our sacred system. Our loyalty is properly only to the Constitution, not a perversion of it. Just because you hold office under Article I, II, or III doesn’t mean we still owe you respect or deference when you treat your obligations to the People like a teenage Thai boy at one of Raymond Burr’s Halloween parties. 

We owe the system nothing. Nada. Zip. Instead, the system owes usfairness and honesty, and without them it has no right to our default acceptance of its results. That acceptance must be earned. This means that the system must aggressively police its own integrity, and this year it has utterly failed to do so.

And that's about the most succinct assessment I've heard in a while.  How many times have I pointed out that the law is the replacement for violence, and if the law no longer functions, or if the law itself is used against the law-abiding, we have the right to return to the violence we gave up?

I only give up my right of retribution if the law appropriately punishes the criminals.  This is no longer the case, as proven by the fact that Hillary Clinton would be in jail if it weren't for her political connections.

Is this dangerous talk? Hell yes – but the danger doesn’t come from us pointing out the corruption. The danger is the corruption. I walked through wrecked villages in the aftermath of a civil war, so I sure as hell don’t need your lessons about what lies at the bottom of the slippery slope your ruling class is tobogganing down. I know – and as my new book predicts, it’s really bad. But the solution isn’t to try to shut us up when we dare point out the truth – nor will it work. As the hep kids say, we are now hella woke. The solution is to demand the system do its damn job and root out corruption and earn back the default acceptance we would love nothing more than to be able to offer again, confident that the system is unrigged. Too bad if our refusal to simply acquiesce to your scam is inconvenient.

Yoga pants on a woman outside of a yoga studio are ENTIRELY for a man's visual pleasure.

"But Dave, they're so comfortable!"  Yep, uh-huh, sure they are.  They also happen to show off a woman's ass and legs to such an extent that I can normally tell of a woman is waxed bare, has a landing strip or sports a natural bush.  I see a woman wearing yoga pants, all I have to do is imagine them in skin tone and I know exactly what they look like naked.  Skin-tight spandex and lycra have their place.  That place is in a gym.  If I step out of my house wearing a pair of shorts that are tight enough to tell if I'm circumcised or not, and strolled down Main Street with my johnson displayed in it's full fabric-covered glory for anyone to see, I would be called a pervert, a sex deviant, what have you.  But I would be doing it for the express purpose of showing off my wedding tackle, and everybody would know it.  There wouldn't be any stupid SJW statements being made, or coy statements about how it "wasn't for people's visual pleasure".  Hell, other people might not enjoy it, but the intent of wearing such clothing when you wear it outside of a gym is showing off your body.  Much like a push-up bra, or Daisy Duke shorts, or skin-tight shirts, the whole object of that clothing is to have people LOOK AT YOUR BODY.

So for a woman to walk around in yoga pants and squeal "it's not for people's visual pleasure!" means at least one, and possibly two things:  That person is a flat-out liar, and there's a possibility that you're just not their intended audience.

In any case, let's just call it what it is, and avoid the fake, sanctimonious blather that dribbles from these SJW's lips like vomit from a baby that's just been burped.  It's a cry for attention.  It's someone saying "LOOK AT MY BODY!"  And it's entirely for the visual pleasure of SOMEBODY.

An Iraqi refugee who raped a 10-year-old boy at a swimming pool has had his conviction overturned because a court didn't prove he realised the boy was saying no. 

The rapist, identified as Amir A, 20, violently sexually assaulted the boy in the changing room of Theresienbad pool in Austria claiming it was a 'sexual emergency' because he had not had sex for four months.  

But an appeal court in the country accepted the defence lawyer's claim that the lower court had not done enough to prove he knew the schoolboy was saying no and overturned the conviction.

The higher court said it should have been ascertained whether or not the victim agreed to the sexual act or whether Amir A had acted against the will of the boy.

Assisted suicide for people who are not terminally ill may soon be an option in the Netherlands. Lawmakers in the country are pushing for a law which would let those who feel they have “completed life” take death into their own hands. 

On Wednesday, the country’s health minister, Edith Schippers and the justice minister, Ard van der Steur, sent a letter to the parliament asking the lawmakers to draft legislation that would make assisted suicide a possibility.

The culture and the people that would make this a reality has to be so debased, so amoral, so stripped of anything spiritual, that it's not really a shock that people want to die when their immersed in said culture.

Power went out yesterday

That was fun.  And since we're on a well, no power means no water.  I had plenty to drink (we keep stores in the basement) but couldn't do the dishes or take a shower.  Or, I guess I could have but I didn't want to.  This wasn't going to be a long outage, so I didn't want to use up the water if I didn't need to.

However, that meant that doing things like bottling up some stuff and other various household tasks didn't get done.  Did go over to a friend's for dinner, so there's that.  Now I've got double the stuff to do.  Yay.

A prominent local media executive fired from Yahoo last year has filed a lawsuit accusing CEO Marissa Mayer of leading a campaign to purge male employees. 

“Mayer encouraged and fostered the use of (an employee performance-rating system) to accommodate management’s subjective biases and personal opinions, to the detriment of Yahoo’s male employees,” said the suit by Scott Ard filed this week in federal district court in San Jose.

Marissa Mayer took a company that had a chance of survival, instituted her SJW values, and destroyed that company in just a couple of years.  Yahoo now isn't really worth a hill of beans.  Sad!

According to Pew, there were over 1 million immigrants in Virginia as of 2014.  In 2013, according to the Census, the number of non-citizens in the state was 427,535, but given the fast pace of new immigration to the region, that number has likely grown.  If a random sampling from just eight counties showed over 1,000 non-citizens registered to vote, one can easily speculate that thousands more are registered statewide.      

This random sampling on non-citizens voting dovetails well with a 2014 study from three prominent political scientists who found that up to 6.4% of all non-citizens participated in the 2008 elections and up to 14.7% voted.  Given the population of non-citizens in the state, that is potentially a very impactful number for any close election.

If the elections were open and honest, Democrats wouldn't stand a chance.  As it is, they cheat, lie and steal their way to win after win.

This can only end in bloodshed.

Riding to work yesterday and today, it was cold enough that I had to put my mask on to keep the cold air out of my ears at 70 mph.  I've been wearing my Joe Rocket jacket, but depending on the weather, I might just have to wear my leather tomorrow.  Full face helmet to be worn just a few degrees colder.

I love this time of year.  I'm a little sad that I'll be putting the bike up when it gets really nasty, but this is my favorite time of the year to be out and about.

Most folks don't pay attention to more than ten feet in front of them.  That goes for pretty much everything in their life.  Need proof?  Take a look at driving in most cities.  The Ragin' Mrs. and I are aghast at the tailgaiting that goes on here in Virginia.  I call it "Clusterfucks of Stupidity".  You'll have five cars, all bunched up one car-length apart, all going 70 mph down the highway, and plenty of space in front and behind.

All it takes is one person hitting their brakes, and you've got multiple car accidents happening.  All because people refuse to look more than ten in feet in front of them.

This outlook carries over in other aspects of their life as well.  Most the voters in this country can't see outside of their personal little bubble.  That's how socialists get elected.  Hell, most of my extended family can't think more than six months into the future.  So when they vote for people who are driving this country off a cliff, they can't see it.  They don't want to see it.  And they greatly hate me for pointing it out.

Fuck 'em.  Let them hate me.  At least I won't be accused of standing idly by.

My parents have always said that if you want to see the true nature of a person, observe them when they're driving or playing sports.  That's when the mask slips.  Either they're so focused on the game, or they don't think anyone is watching, that they let their true nature come out.

Maybe that's why I dislike so much of humanity.  I have to drive too much.  Or ride, which makes me hate people all that much more.

Brewing today

But first, cigar and coffee.  I'm in the middle of a cigar from a newer company - Black Works Studio. The cigar I'm smoking is the Rorschach.  Ho-lee-CRAP this is a good one.  It smells so good before you light it that you just want to chew on it like a candy bar.  The draw is good.  The flavor is awesome.  The strength is between medium and full.  It's a thing of beauty.

I've got three, maybe four batches that I'm starting today, to include a honey beer with chocolate malt that I'm trying to turn into something like a good stout.  At least one batch to bottle, maybe two.  You know what I'm not doing?

Watching the NFL.  Go protest, you guys!  You're doing great!

UPDATE - we started five one-gallon batches of mead as a test for different yeasts.  Started a five gallon batch of apple cider with a yeast we've been wanting to try, a five gallon batch of honey beer with the chocolate malt, and a three gallon batch of blueberry mead.  We also racked a five gallon batch of wine, a one gallon batch of pear wine, and bottled a one gallon test batch of elderberry mead. Finally, we tested a batch of cherry melomel that we were hoping would come out nicely after we re-sweetened it a month ago.  No dice, it's way too sweet.  So we pitched in some champagne yeast to see what happens.  It's already sitting at 13% ABV, so if we get any sugar eaten by the champagne yeast it'll be a bonus, plus be a wine that will knock you on your ass.

All in all that's a good six hours on my feet making booze.  Life is good.

This bill funded every major Democratic policy priority with no meaningful limitations on a single illegal, abusive, or harmful executive action taken by the president. It contained no limitations or reforms to Obamacare, Planned Parenthood funding, Obama’s transgender bathroom mandate on the states, sanctuary cities, or DACA amnesty. What was particularly disturbing about this blank check is that the timing of the budget deadline coincided with two new harmful unilateral policies of the Obama administration: the giveaway of oversight over internet IP addresses to a foreign entity and a net increase in refugee admission for the new fiscal year — all on top of the existing increase in refugees from the Middle East during a time of grave homeland security concerns. 

The budget bill also reflected Obama’s spending priorities instead of the spending figures reflected in the Republican budget. It wasted $1.1 billion on Zika funding that was unnecessary and funded Planned Parenthood with those extra funds. While one expects compromise with divided government, this blank check was truly breathtaking in completely reflecting Democrat values — as if Republicans had no control over Congress.

But then they'll wail and cry and ask how in the world Donald Trump could have won the nomination.  Gutless, pathetic, traitorous, backstabbing pieces of shit.

Voter fraud and more Democrat corruption in VA

That's VA as in Virginia, not Veteran's Administration.  Although where ever a Democrat is involved, you can be assured that there's corruption there as well.  In this case, it's the tried and true tactic of Democrats registering dead people to vote.

The FBI and local police are investigating how at least 19 dead Virginians were recently re-registered to vote in this critical swing state. 

One case came to light after relatives of a deceased man received a note congratulating him for registering, Rockingham County Commonwealth’s Attorney Marsha Garst said Thursday.

Take a guess where all the dead people were signed up to vote.  Just one guess.  Here, I'll make it easy; you don't have to name the place, just tell me what KIND of place it is.

All of the forms had been submitted by a private group that was working to register voters on the campus of James Madison University, according to the Harrisonburg registrar’s office. The group was not identified. No charges have been filed.

NO!  WAY!  A university, a bastion of liberal Democrat Proggie Fascists, is ground zero for voter fraud?  This is my SHOCKED FACE!  And the sheer brazen corruption of the Democrats can be seen in just one quote.

House Minority Leader David J. Toscano (D-Charlottesville) said the case was not proof of voter fraud because no one had actually managed to cast a vote in the names of the dead. 

“First of all, there was no voter fraud — they caught him,” Toscano said. “Nobody cast a vote. . . . There’s still no evidence of that going on in the state. But there is evidence every time you turn around that the Republicans are trying to make it more difficult for citizens to vote in elections.”

So apparently if I walk up to David J. Toscano (Dipshit-Charlottesville), pull out a gun, put the barrel to his face, and cock back the hammer, but the police stop me before I pull the trigger, then there's no crime that ever ever ever ever happened!  It's like MAGIC!

This is the kind of outright contempt for the rule of law that will bring about the second civil war in this country.  Naturally, it's centered on the "liberals".

Whether he loses or, more unlikely, wins, Donald Trump creates an existential crisis for the Republican Party. The New York poseur has effectively undermined the party orthodoxy on defense, trade and economics, policies which have been dominant for the last half century within the party but now are falling rapidly out of fashion among the rank and file.

I really wonder what life must be like in the protected, cocooned little bubble that these people live in.  The "policies which have been dominant for the last half century" are still dominant.  Conservatives and Republicans pretty much still believe in the free market, individual freedom and smaller government.

John Boehner, Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell has given Harry Reid and Barack Hussein Obama almost everything they wanted, and shit all over the GOP to do so.  Is it any wonder that Trump won the nomination after that?

The Charlotte Observer provides this profile of Officer Vinson. From it, we learn that he grew up in Charlotte, was a football star in high school, and dreamed of becoming a police officer like his father. 

Vinson was all-conference in football as a high school junior, but was unable to play during his senior year due to a serious knee injury. The next year, he played at a prep school, earning a scholarship to Liberty University.  

At Liberty, Vinson studied criminal justice. He became a captain of the football team and led it in tackles as a senior in 2012.  

In 2014, Vinson joined the Charlotte-Mecklenburg police force. He has not been subject to any disciplinary action, according to personnel records released by the police department.

A last-minute deal between conservatives and GOP leaders in the House has averted votes expected Thursday on a measure to impeach the commissioner of the IRS.

 

Instead, IRS Commissioner John Koskinen will testify before Congress next week.
The conservative House Freedom Caucus celebrated the development as a win late Wednesday, as conservatives had long pushed GOP leaders for impeachment hearings against Koskinen. They accuse him of obstructing a congressional investigation into the treatment of tea party groups seeking tax exemptions. 

But the agreement canceling the votes came only after conservatives themselves predicted that their impeachment resolution was going to get sidelined by Democratic and Republican opposition Thursday. So instead they settled for a hearing next Wednesday, which would result in an impeachment vote only after the November presidential election, if ever.

Blacks constituted 62 percent of all robbery defendants in America’s 75 largest counties in 2009, 57 percent of all murder defendants and 45 percent of all assault defendants, according to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, even though blacks comprise only 15 percent of the population in those counties. 

In New York City, where blacks make up 23 percent of the city’s population, blacks commit three-quarters of all shootings and 70 percent of all robberies, according to victims and witnesses in their reports to the NYPD. Whites, by contrast, commit less than 2 percent of all shootings and 4 percent of all robberies, though they are nearly 34 percent of the city’s population. 

In Chicago, 80 percent of all known murder suspects in 2015 were black, as were 80 percent of all known nonfatal shooting suspects, though they’re a little less than a third of the population. Whites made up 0.9 percent of known murder suspects in Chicago in 2015 and 1.4 percent of known nonfatal shooting suspects, though they are about a third of the city’s residents.

I have absolutely no problem saying that I will not live in an area that is majority black.  I will not live surrounded by "ethnic" neighbors.  I don't give a shit about diversity, because diversity is just another word for "third world shithole".

I will not support any program or any person who claims to want to make this country "more diverse", because that just means more crime, more problems and less safety.

Oddly enough, the areas with the most diversity problems are all quite liberal.  I know, right?  Shocker!  Were I to have a black neighbor in a conservative part of the country, I doubt I'd have any worries at all, because there is a much greater chance that person would share the values that I share, and not subscribe to the stupidity and insanity that currently rules most Democrat controlled urban areas.  But since the black population in the USA is nothing more than slaves on the Democrat vote plantation, the chances of any of them moving out to my neck of the woods are rather small.

Got back way late on Sunday night (actually Monday morning).  Got up and went to work at the normal time.  Screwed my internal clock all to hell.

Oh, by the way, when you're forced to buy a brand new tire for your ride, AND have it mounted at some shop that's not your normal shop?  That costs quite a bit.  Thank God for emergency funds.  And to everyone who leaves bits of metal in the rode for a motorcycle to run over?  Screw.  You.  Assholes.

How to be a liberal

Not that you'd want to be one, but it's instructive to know how the other side operates.

Ignorance is an absolute must, but especially ignorance of three things: economics, human nature and all of recorded history. 

One has to be truly economically illiterate to believe that high taxes encourages productivity, that union-imposed labor regulations don't dis-incentivize hiring, that energy regulations don't raise prices on the poor and working class. 

Likewise, to be a liberal you must pretend that men and women are exactly alike in every respect and that communism produces the most happiness for the most people. 

The sad part is this ignorance is fostered through modern "education".

Toothless Hag ignores sibling's drug use, erupts in rage over photo of baby

So, imagine the scene:  Cops show up to a house.  Male and female parents, four kids.  Male is dead from heroin overdose, woman is comatose.

In the course of taking care of the kids of these two DNA donors (I refuse to call the "parents") a photo is taken of one cop caring for a two month old baby.  Husband of cop posts picture on facebook, with basic message of "I love my wife and she's awesome".  Photo goes viral.

A sibling of one of the DNA donors (don't know which one) goes off on the city council saying that the baby was "exploited" because of the photo.

I caught wind of this over at Liberty Zone, and I'm about as pissed off as Nicki is. Where the hell was this crack-whore looking hag when her sibling was shoving a needle in their vein instead of raising their kids?  If this family member can't even stir herself to worry about the kids while the junkie parents are shooting up, she should just shut her fucking mouth, since it's now OTHER PEOPLE who have to make sure these kids are taken care of.

And please, please PLEASE GOD PLEASE do not let these kids get put into the care of that dentally challenged anal-wart, who cares more about a photo of a baby on facebook than she does about the actual health and welfare of that baby.

I can handle a few knuckleheads on my team, but if there's a mass showing of disrespect from the Seahawks, I will burn my Seahawks gear, video it, put it on YouTube and offer it up to Seattle's front office along with my extended middle finger.

I've been a Seahawks fan for over three decades.  But I won't root for a team that shits on my country.
