Reporters strangely uninterested in doing their job

Nah, it's not strange at all when you realize that the Democrat Propaganda hacks were just covering up for their boss the Clintons.

Reporters with the Washington Post and New York Times were apparently less than enthusiastic about covering the controversial private meeting between then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton just months ahead of the 2016 election. 

The non-profit American Center for Law and Justice published emails Friday that showed reporters asking Department of Justice officials for details on the meeting. 

Mark Lander, a reporter for the Times, is seen in one June 30 email reaching out to a DOJ official to say he's "been pressed into service to write about the questions being raised" by the meeting. 

Matt Zapotosky with the Post emailed a DOJ official the same day after several other emails to say that his editors "are still pretty interested" in the story but that he wanted to "put it to rest."

If it were not for alternative media sources, damn near nobody would have known about Bill Clinton and the corrupt-as-hell Loretta Lynch colluding to shove Hillary's crimes into obscurity.  Yet another example of why I won't cry one tear if the Democrat Media Complex all goes bankrupt.  In fact, I'll be laughing and cheering if I see Paul Krugman out on the street with a cardboard sign.

The BOM has now been shamed by media investigations into ordering a review of its procedures. But it has yet to provide an explanation as to why it made these “adjustments” in the first place.

Fire them all.  Fire them and get actual, real scientists in their place.  Fire everyone involved with this, from top to bottom, and start over.

I used to get National Review

So when I read something like this, I figure that it's a good thing I cancelled my subscription while the gettin' was good.

People like Kevin Williamson are why I no longer give a damn what credentials you have or what degree you have.  Because someone with the degrees and credentials of Kevin Williamson can still be a fucking idiot.  If you want proof, take a look at Kevin Williamson.

Sergio Jose Martinez, a 31-year-old transient and meth addict and alcoholic, allegedly entered a 65-year-old woman's apartment on Northeast Irving Street via an open window. What happened next is the stuff of nightmares. 

This made things quite convenient for Martinez, whose criminal record in the United States stretches back to 2001, when, at the age of 15, he completed drug and alcohol treatment in Texas. He has since been deported over 20 times, only to return to the U.S. to commit more felonies. He's been issued nine warrants for failure to appear, has routinely violated the terms of his parole, and regularly commits violent crimes. Martinez moved to Portland sometime in the past three years. His last listed address was a shelter in Northwest Portland, but he lives on the streets. 

His most recent deportation was in November 2016. In December, the Department of Homeland Security requested a detainer for Martinez, but local authorities released him back into the community without notifying DHS or ICE. An immigration detainer is a request to authorities to notify DHS before releasing Martinez to allow ICE to take him into custody. This never happened.

Portland cares more about a homeless illegal alien drug addict than they do about law-abiding citizens of their city.  But you know what?  The reason Portland cares more about an illegal alien drug addict criminal than their own citizens is because that's exactly what the law-abiding citizens told Portland to care about first.

I'm willing to bet that this illegal alien drug-addict criminal's rape victim voted for the Leftist policies year after year after year after year, and how her chickens have come home to roost.  That doesn't mean she deserved it.  That doesn't mean that the illegal alien drug addict criminal doesn't deserve to have a bullet put into his head and his body dumped into an un-marked grave out in the woods as punishment for his crimes.  But if anyone should suffer for imposing blatantly stupid Leftist policies on the population, it's other Leftists.

My advice?  The last time I was in Portland was about 2013.  Courthouse Square was full of homeless panhandlers.  It smelled like rancid piss.  Don't bother going to Portland.  There are plenty of places in Oregon that are much nicer, cleaner, cheaper and just plain better.  Let Portland rot.

CDC advises to delay breastfeeding because..  well...  just read this:

Ten researchers from the CDC’s National Centers for Immunization and Respiratory Disease (NCIRD) released a paper arguing that because the immune-boosting effects of breastmilk inhibit the effects of the live oral rotavirus vaccine, nursing mothers should delay breastfeeding their infants. 

This, dear readers, is the kind of convoluted logic that permeates the pharmaceutical industry. To be fair, the paper does not recommend that mothers stop breastfeeding, merely that they delay nursing at the time that the vaccine is administered. It also says that other avenues for boosting the vaccine’s efficacy should be explored. 

Honestly, I don’t care how nuanced their recommendation is. Do they not realize what they have stumbled upon? In demonstrating that breastmilk counters the live vaccine, they’ve shown that breastmilk counters the virus.

Emphasis in the original, and if it weren't there I would have done it.  This highlights the unholy stupidity of the credentialed class.  Breastmilk is full of immune system-boosting goodies.  There's no need to start shooting up a kid with vaccines if they're nursing, because they're getting what they need from mommy dearest!

And who the hell thinks that a mother is going to delay breastfeeding?  What kind of family would allow a mother to delay breastfeeding on the advice of some unknown pharmacy-funded asshole from the CDC?

And yet here we have another fucking government agency vomiting out some of the most stupid, bone-headed, completely wrong suggestions, because VACCINES?

Give the kid the vaccine later, after he's done nursing!  Maybe the problem in today's world is that more kids are given formula instead of nursing, thus lessening the beneficial effects of breastmilk.

The biggest problem with gays and transgenders in the military is the underlying premise that the military will "just have to deal with it".

I would note that the vast, huge majority of people pushing for gays and transgenders in the military are people who have never served, and never intend to serve in the military.  This isn't about military readiness, this is about enforcing their ideology on the military, no matter the cost or damage.  And I'm damn glad that Trump pushed back.

I've said it before - the military's job is to break shit and kill people.  Anything that inhibits that mission needs to be removed.  Trannies in the military inhibit that mission; they cannot be allowed in.

If you don't know whether you're a man or a woman, you do not belong in the military.

And let me relate a little story, if you're still hanging around - back when I was in recruiting, I had to tell one of my recruits that they had been denied a medical waiver.  The waiver was for a knee injury that had occurred WHILE THEY WERE ON ACTIVE DUTY.  They had gotten out, gotten a degree, and wanted to come back in.  This is not unusual.

The reason the military did not want this guy in the Army is because they didn't want to pay tens of thousands of dollars in medical bills that might occur due to this guys injury.

So if I couldn't get my guy in because of a knee injury that had occurred ON ACTIVE DUTY, then by what fucking right does a tranny get to demand that the military pay for chopping off their tally-whacker (or sewing one on!) just because they can't handle simple biology?

Yes, I know that'a  gross simplification.  The point still stands.  Transgenderism is a mental illness.  It needs to be treated with counseling, not by tossing them into an organization who's job is to KILL PEOPLE AND BREAK THINGS, and giving them free sex change operations.

So when the mercury is topping 100, with heat indexes of 110-115, it doesn't do me much good.  I'm friggin' wiped out right now.  Went for a short run yesterday morning and couldn't stop sweating for half an hour after I came back.  Woke up this morning, looked at the weather outside and said "Screw it, it's an off day".

I know some folks love this weather.  Bully for them.  I hope they enjoy it.  As for me, I sweat buckets all day.  I want to move back up North.....

The left will never admit it, but there’s plenty of evidence to suggest that many of the people receiving welfare benefits are able bodied, and fully capable of finding a job. We know this, because when they’re given the choice between losing a couple hundred dollars per month in benefits, and finding a job that will earn them enough money to not need benefits, they choose to find work. We’re subsiding millions of people who just don’t want to work. 

And the other detail that the left will conveniently overlook, is that these people are basically siphoning off money from folks who are genuinely in a bad financial place. There would be more money for people who are actually poor.

The "War on Poverty" has been going for decades, and it was wasted over a trillion dollars since it was implemented.  In that time we have yet to make a single dent in poverty.  Maybe it's time to try something else other than massive wealth redistribution, hmmmm?

Women's March embraces cop killer and domestic terrorist

But that NRA ad was causing violence!  Unlike the people Women's March is celebrating who actually killed cops in a violent manner.  See, it wasn't violence-violence, got it?

The tweet included a painting of Assata Shakur, also known as Joanne Chesimard, with the slogan "A woman's place is in the struggle."

Chesimard is a member of the Black Liberation Party, a racist, anti-American organization.  She's committed multiple felonies, and was finally busted for killing a New Jersey State Trooper.  She escaped from jail and has been hiding out in Cuba since 1979.

So to recap:  NRA ad talking about fighting back with "the fist of truth" - BAD.

Killing cops, committing multiple felonies, hiding in Cuba:  GOOD.

Or at least that's the way the Women's March sees it.

John McCain has brain cancer

And I don't care.

I'm not going to sit around talking about how awful it is.  In fact, the moment I heard the news I was a bit relieved, because that means John McCain isn't going to be sitting in the Senate for some time, fucking things up, shitting on Conservatives, screwing with Trump's agenda, and making back-door deals with Democrats that stab the GOP faithful in the back.

I never truly wanted him dead, but I sure as hell wanted him out of the Senate, where he's been ensconced for so long that he's grown barnacles.  And the entire time he's been a two-faced, greedy, corrupt lying piece of shit.  Some of the worst attacks against the Tea Party came from John McCain, because anything that might disrupt his gravy train couldn't be allowed to exist.

It sucks he has brain cancer.  It sucks that anyone has brain cancer.  I didn't want him to get brain cancer, unlike most Democrats.  But I'm not going to sit around weeping and crying.  Sometimes in this world you have to suffer because God requires you to do penance for your sins.  If that's the case, then this suffering is just one small, tiny amount of penance for John McCain.

Flipping through radio stations yesterday

As I went on my rounds of various things I had to accomplish, and came across a sports station.

Turns out it was ESPN.

I found that out after two minutes when, after listening to some worthless wanking asscannon go on and on about Colin Kaepernick, I shouted "Oh, FUCK YOU, you dumb-ass fucking fucker!" and changed the channel.  Looked up the station numbers after I got home and found out what station it was.  I had not listened to the ESPN in so long that I didn't have it programmed into my new car; just hitting the "scan" button got me there.  And it reminded me of why I no longer have ESPN programmed into my car.  I do not want or need to be lectured on politics by some brain-dead fuckwit who couldn't find Idaho on a map.

ESPN can just hurry up and die.

If the GOP loses control of congress in 2018, this is why

You know, I think the longer the bill is out there, the more conservative Republicans are going to discover that it's not repeal, and the more that everybody is going to discover that it keeps the fundamental flaw of Obamacare. 

It keeps the insurance mandates that cause the prices to rise, which chase young, healthy people out of the marketplace, and leads to what people call adverse selection, where you have a sicker and sicker insurance pool, and the premiums keep rising through the roof.

Haiti Official who exposed Clinton Foundation corruption found dead of "suicide".

Why is it that so many people around the Clintons seem to commit suicide?  I mean, the wire diagram of suicide folks that surround the clintons looks more like a labyrinth than anything else.

Eberwein was a fierce critic of the Clinton Foundation’s activities in the Caribbean island, where he served as director general of the government’s economic development agency, Fonds d’assistance économique et social, for three years. “The Clinton Foundation, they are criminals, they are thieves, they are liars, they are a disgrace,” Eberwein said at a protest outside the Clinton Foundation headquarters in Manhattan last year. Eberwein was due to appear on Tuesday before the Haitian Senate Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission where he was widely expected to testify that the Clinton Foundation misappropriated Haiti earthquake donations from international donors. But this “suicide” gets even more disturbing… 

Eberwein was only 50-years-old and reportedly told acquaintances he feared for his life because of his fierce criticism of the Clinton Foundation.  His close friends and business partners were taken aback by the idea he may have committed suicide. “It’s really shocking,” said friend Gilbert Bailly. “We grew up together; he was like family.” 

During and after his government tenure, Eberwein faced allegations of fraud and corruption on how the agency he headed administered funds. Among the issues was FAES’ oversight of the shoddy construction of several schools built after Haiti’s devastating Jan. 12, 2010, earthquake.  But, according to Eberwein, it was the Clinton Foundation who was deeply in the wrong – and he intended to testify and prove it on Tuesday.

ECUSA has been converged by Progs for decades now, so it's no surprise that it's membership is leaving in droves.  Well, apparently it's a surprise for the Proggies.  But the ECUSA doesn't stand for Christ, and it doesn't stand for God.  It stands for Social Justice, Homosexuality, Trans-genderism, and Marxism.

Which is not how you run a church, in case anyone out there was confused.  But when you have "leadership" like this:

Now to tie this in with Catholics:

Vatican police raided a drug-fueled gay-sex party at an apartment belonging to an aide of one of Pope Francis’ key advisers, according to a new report. 

The Holy Father is “enraged,” since the home, inhabited by Francesco Cardinal Coccopalmerio’s secretary, belongs to the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith — the arm charged with tackling clerical sex abuse, the Italian paper Il Fatto Quotidiano reported. 

Cops raided the apartment in late June after neighbors voiced concern about multiple people acting strangely while streaming in and out of the residence, the newspaper reported Wednesday. 

Once police were inside the apartment, they said they found multiple men engaged in rampant drug use and homosexual activity.

The only reason Jorge Bergolio is "enraged" is because his people got caught.  The upper level of the Catholic church is just as converged as the ECUSA.  However, the various traditional groups have managed to keep the damage down to a minimum, but they might not be able to do that for much longer.

If you don't want to see the Catholic Church follow the ECUSA into ruin, step one is to admit the truth.  Step two is to confront the problems when and where you can.  Ignoring the problem will just be allowing the problem to fester until it cannot be fixed.

In a not-so-subtle chess move late last week, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., sent a signal to his rank-and-file that the time is coming to capitulate to Democrats on health care reform. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., did not hesitate to exploit the weakness (emphasis mine)

Mitch McConnell, who did his best to stop the Tea Party, who did his best to prevent President Donald Trump, is now faced with having to actually do what he promised the GOP voters he would do.  And he doesn't want to do that.  He wants to allow the Democrats to run things so that he can make a show of Failure Theater while raking in massive amounts of money from lobbyists and other parasites that infest D.C.

If you want to know who is blocking Donald Trump's agenda, you don't have to look any further than Mitch McConnell.  McConnell was Bathhouse Barry Obumblefuck's best friend on Capitol Hill, making sure that the jug-eared fuckwit got his way on almost every legislative pile of crap that came through.  The one thing he can be credited for was stopping Obama from putting a liberal on the SCOTUS.  But that had nothing to do with integrity or principles, and everything to do with the fact that the GOP would have lost control of EVERYTHING if McConnell hadn't blocked it.

We've had to deal with McConnell in a leadership position for far too long, and all we've gotten for it was capitulation to the Democrats, and the restraining of our own side when we should be repealing the worst legislation in my lifetime.  McConnell is a pathetic, two-faced political animal.  He needs to go.

Michael Mann fucked up one time too many

The creator of the "hockey stick" graph, who has never allowed any of his data to be inspected, has finally stepped on his dick in a way that's going to hurt him the most.

The inventor of the hockey stick graph, Penn State Professor Michael Mann, is in hot water in Canada over a lawsuit he filed against a climatologist, Dr. Tim Ball, one of his main critics. The results of this lawsuit have wide-ranging implications for everything from the validity of his hockey stick graph as proof of man-made global warming, to the right of free expression. 

Mann is allegedly in contempt of court for refusing discovery to the person he's suing for defamation. Dr. Ball claims he agreed to an adjournment of the court proceedings on the condition that Mann turns over all the data used to create his hockey stick graph that purports to show a spike in global warming in the twentieth century. The discovery of this data is vital to Ball's defense, as he has criticized the methodology used to create the graph. 

Mann's refusal to comply with this aspect of discovery has been hailed by some as proof that the data behind the hockey stick graph doesn't exist, and the graph is a fraud. While it may be premature to make such a sweeping declaration, Mann's purported refusal to cooperate in this legal proceeding is damning.

Michael Mann apparently sues actual scientists who dare to speak out against the blatant fraud and bullshit that he peddles.  This time, someone got pissed off enough that they walked into court and are now putting that pathetic hack Michael Mann in quite a bind:  Either he turns over the information he's refused to allow anyone to look at, or withdraw his lawsuit, at which point the victim can then turn around and sue his pants off.

Michael Mann is a fraud, a huckster, a bullshitter, a snake-oil salesman, a con artist, and quite frankly he deserves to be in jail.  If this is what lands him there, I'm perfectly fine with that.  If it financially ruins him, I'm fine with that as well.  If it hounds him out of any other kind of public affairs, I'm fine with that too.

The name Logan Huysman should be put out there

As a special little snowflake who thinks she can assault a cop and then lie about it on social media.

Burlington, VT – 18-year-old Logan Huysman took to social media after her arrest, claiming that Burlington police sexually assaulted her. She even showed off bruises on her arms as proof. In response, Chief Brandon del Pozo released the bodycam footage which showed an impaired Huysman acting disorderly, assaulting police officers, and more (video below.) 

Not only that, but Chief Brandon del Pozo even responded directly to the girl’s Facebook post, prompting a wave of outrage at the girl’s behavior which resulted in her deleting the post.

Personally I think it was a brilliant move by the Chief, and probably garnered him more loyalty from his cops than anything else he could have done.

But of course, the rancid anal drippings known as the ACLU are upset about it.

The ACLU is not happy that the chief released facts about the case in order to counter lies spread by Logan Huysman, accusing him of using facts to “shut down conversations.”

Here's a clue for the prolapsed hemorrhoids of the ACLU:  You don't "shut down a conversation" with facts.  If facts "shut down conversation", then it wasn't really a conversation to begin with.  It was a SMEAR JOB based on LIES from a triggered little snowflake who thinks she's above the law.

I've been listening to lectures at work while I sit at my computer; anything to keep the brain occupied.  I've posted a couple of Jordan Peterson videos before.  Here he lays out 12 Principles for 21st Century Conservatism.



I've got to chew on these.  As usual, there are a couple I look at and say "Well duh!"  But there's some that require me to ponder them a bit.

Tenets of a viable 21st century conservatism
1. The fundamental assumptions of Western civilization are valid. 

2. Peaceful social being is preferable to isolation and to war. In consequence, it justly and rightly demands some sacrifice of individual impulse and idiosyncrasy. 

3. Hierarchies of competence are desirable and should be promoted. 

4. Borders are reasonable. Likewise, limits on immigration are reasonable. Furthermore, it should not be assumed that citizens of societies that have not evolved functional individual-rights predicated polities will hold values in keeping with such polities.

5. People should be paid so that they are able and willing to perform socially useful and desirable duties. 

6. Citizens have the inalienable right to benefit from the result of their own honest labor.

7. It is more noble to teach young people about responsibilities than about rights. 

8. It is better to do what everyone has always done, unless you have some extraordinarily valid reason to do otherwise.

9. Radical change should be viewed with suspicion, particularly in a time of radical change.

10. The government, local and distal, should leave people to their own devices as much as possible.

11. Intact heterosexual two-parent families constitute the necessary bedrock for a stable polity. 

12. We should judge our political system in comparison to other actual political systems and not to hypothetical utopias. 

I doubt Comey is this fucking dumb

Weddings have become insanely expensive

A certain fellow at work is paying for his daughter's wedding next month.  He's already shelled out quite a bit of cash, with more to go.

His other daughter worked at a wedding place here in the Richmond area where the minimum she saw spent on a wedding was $25,000.

Twenty.  Five.  THOUSAND.  Dollars.  MINIMUM!  And I'm willing to bet that you, my dear readers, have seen far worse.  Everybody seems to want to go out and top the last guy who blew the cost of a house on one day.

So when I read this, I went "Yup".

Ridiculous as a “wedding loan” for young people carrying record levels of debt is, a “party loan” is even more absurd.  But that’s what a wedding is, once you’ve dispensed with the sacred parts of the service. 

How did we get here? It’s easy to point fingers at bridezillas and their mothers for creating a culture in which a $35,000 wedding is the norm, but that lets other guilty people off the hook, such as the folks who throw elaborate themed parties for one-year-olds, or those who turn dignified, purposeful old barns into “party barns“.

The Mrs. and I deliberately kept our wedding as dirt cheap as possible, because as we married later in our 20's, we expected that we would be footing the bill for everything.  Over our objections, my family stepped in and said "Uh, Dave, we'll be taking this from here."  I think they were a bit afraid of what the reception dinner might have looked like.  But even after that, the total cost of our wedding, including transportation for guests for several days, was less than the cost for other people's reception dinners.  We managed to keep it under five grand.

$25,000 is a downpayment on a house.  It's the cost of a new vehicle.  It's a top-of-the-line Indian motorcycle, dammit.  And that's low for a wedding today?  There's no way in hell I would recommend that anybody go into debt for their weddings, and I certainly wouldn't tell anyone to blow twenty-five large on one.

To the “earlymoon” couple from South Carolina, let me respectfully suggest: If you need to leave the country to gain perspective on your wedding, perhaps, just perhaps, you shouldn’t be getting married just yet. And if it’s not marriage, but the wedding itself that’s stressing you out, perhaps you could dispense with the party and the party loan, and the pre-party loan, and just go off on a boat and exchange vows like Pam and Jim did on The Office.

Or maybe just elope.

McHugh, the Distinguished Service Professor of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University and former psychiatrist–in-chief for Johns Hopkins Hospital, who has studied transgendered people for 40 years, said it is a scientific fact that “transgendered men do not become women, nor do transgendered women become men.” 

All such people, he explained in an article for The Witherspoon Institute,  “become feminized men or masculinized women, counterfeits or impersonators of the sex with which they ‘identify.’”

Johns Hopkins was one of the first hospitals to do gender re-assignment surgery.  They no longer do so.  Because as doctors, they looked at the results and found that the surgery did nothing to improve the lives of the people who went through it.  Which means that the surgery wasn't correcting anything.

Well, if the surgery isn't correcting anything, then they've mis-diagnosed the problem, haven't they?

“In fact, gender dysphoria—the official psychiatric term for feeling oneself to be of the opposite sex—belongs in the family of similarly disordered assumptions about the body, such as anorexia nervosa and body dysmorphic disorder,” said McHugh. 

“Its treatment should not be directed at the body as with surgery and hormones any more than one treats obesity-fearing anorexic patients with liposuction,” he said. 

In fact, at Johns Hopkins, where they pioneered sex-change-surgery, “we demonstrated that the practice brought no important benefits,” said Dr. McHugh. “As a result, we stopped offering that form of treatment in the 1970s.”

I would like to point out that there is nobody, and I mean nobody on the pro-tranny side of the debate that can come close to even matching the people at Johns Hopkins in terms of their knowledge, experience, and education.

Authorities were able to identify Torres as the attacker in that incident, following his arrest for Hassanen’s murder. As the WaPo article noted, the CPS report confirms that Torres has previously committed violent acts “unrelated to a hate crime motivation.”

The Senate is busily proving that Republicans can’t rule; they’re not even a Party. The only thing likely to keep these “we can’t quite do it” scoundrels in office is the – admittedly terrifying prospect – of Nanny Pelosi returning as Speaker; they’re willing to do without most of the perks of a “majority party” – which they are not – for permanent jobs on Capitol Hill.

So here we have it: the Democrats hold fewer national and state offices than ever before, but they continue to rule. And bringing them back will make things far worse; and a bloc of country club Republicans really want to become “loyal opposition with benefits” and be rid of the burden of ruling. And a business oriented unsophisticated but very rich President can’t even get confirmation of his own team with a House and Senate majority.

One of my projects has been to clear out an area under the bigger trees in my property, so that we can use more than just a sliver of the property.  We've got an acre and a half out here, but we use maybe one-eighth of an acre just because all the rest is overgrown.  Step one was to take out a bunch of the small, damaged trees that are growing up under the canopy.  Then I cleared out as many of the branches, rocks and what have you that I could find.  Then I mowed the underbrush into mulch.

We now have one small area under the trees that's perfect for a table and chairs in the heat of the day. There will be more to come, but I'm not going to transform this place into a wonderland simply because it's a rental, and I'm not getting paid for this.  I just want to have some portion of the land usable.

The fireflies have discovered the open spaces, and they're currently using it for their mating dance.  Quite a nice light show.  Between the fireflies and the other wilderness out here, I can see why so many ghost stories sprang up.  Twinkling lights and raccoons crashing through the underbrush must have made quite a few imaginations go crazy.

Illegal aliens are voting in our elections

You knew it was true years ago.

In the 2008 and 2010 elections, they said, as many as 2.8 million illegal noncitizen votes were cast, "enough to change meaningful election outcomes including Electoral College votes and congressional elections," said the study, authored by Jesse T. Richman and Gushan A. Chattha, both of Old Dominion University, and David C. Earnest of George Mason University. 

The bombshell was this: "Noncitizen votes likely gave Senate Democrats the pivotal 60th vote needed to overcome filibusters in order to pass health care reform and other Obama administration priorities in the 111th Congress." 

It got little coverage in the mainstream media, and what coverage it did get was almost entirely dismissive.

When Trump said that he won the popular vote if you removed the millions of people who voted illegally, the Left went apeshit.  And they went apeshit because they knew it was true.

The FBI is now converged and worthless

The organization that refused to prosecute Hillary Clinton for her many crimes now says that the guy who targeted Republicans, scouted the ball field, worked for Bernie and raged against Trump "didn't have a target in mind".

The FBI literally states that Hodgekinson didn't have any target in mind when he asked whether it was Republicans or Democrats playing ball.  Apparently, the explicit list of targeted Republicans found on Hodgekinson wasn't enough of a clue as to who he was targeting.

I don't know what all is going on at the FBI HQ.  But I do know this - they are fully taken over by the Left, and now should be considered as nothing more than an armed wing of the Democrat Party.  There is no more impartiality at the FBI.  It is nothing more than a pathetic group of government thugs working for one side of the political spectrum.

Democrats love Vote Fraud

It's how they win, time after time.

A research group in New Jersey has taken a fresh look at postelection polling data and concluded that the number of noncitizens voting illegally in U.S. elections is likely far greater than previous estimates. 

As many as 5.7 million noncitizens may have voted in the 2008 election, which put Barack Obama in the White House.

Democrats only win elections where they cheat and steal.  I'm willing to bet that the Clinton camp had millions of votes illegally put in to the system by one way or another.  That's why they didn't campaign in Wisconsin; they thought they had it in the bag with voter fraud.  It worked in Minnesota to get Al "The Fuckheaded Clown" Franken elected in 2010.  But they didn't count on people coming out just to vote against Hillary, and they didn't stuff the ballot box enough, so they lost.

If Republicans were actually serious about holding on to their seats, they would make damn sure that voter fraud was greatly reduced all over the country.

The European Union said it would consider IARC’s finding when deciding whether to continue to allow glyphosate to be used in Europe. “Environmentalists” had scored a major coup. 

But the whole thing turned out to be a fraud. Reuters has investigated, aided by access to deposition testimony in one or more of the lawsuits against Monsanto, which evidently was not subject to a protective order. Briefly put, the author of the IARC’s carcinogenicity study, Aaron Blair, an epidemiologist from the U.S. National Cancer Institute, covered up his own research showing that exposure to glyphosate did not lead to a higher incidence of cancer in humans.

As Powerline points out, you cannot trust any "scientific" studies from a Leftist organization anymore.  Their politics win out over truth, reality, and facts.

I didn't look at a single bit of politics yesterday

Up early, went to church.  Heard a good sermon.  Changed clothing, drove down to Colonial Williamsburg.  We have a guest in the house who hasn't been East of Idaho in his life, so we're giving him a tour.  Spent the day walking around, taking tours.  Today will be downtown Richmond, museums, etc.

Kinda nice being unplugged for a bit.
