GOP "leadership" (that would be the backstabbing twatwaffle known as Paul Ryan) blocked Trump's reform bill last summer.

The GOP leadership let the House immigration reform die in June by allowing a critical bloc of GOP legislators to split their votes between two rival reform bills, said Rep. Bob Goodlatte, the retiring chairman of the House committee on the judiciary. 

“The strategy of having two options really let people have an off-ramp — they could vote for the more conservative bill and against the other, or vote for the second bill and not the first,” Goodlatte said, adding: 

That is just not a good strategy and I complained about it at the time. I said ‘You’ve got to narrow this down to one bill and then work really hard to get the members to vote for that one bill.’ 

Goodlatte’s statement matches the June statement by Rep. Jim Jordan, who said: “If our leadership had put the same whip effort behind that immigration legislation, Chairman Goodlatte’s legislation, it would have passed.” 

Tell me again about how Trump is the reason the GOP lost the House.  Go ahead.  Pull the other one, it's got bells on it.

Retiring House Speaker Paul Ryan made the decision to create the rival bill that blocked Goodlatte’s bill. 

On November 30, Ryan told an interviewer that he preferred the second bill, which he credited to Florida GOP Rep. Carlos Curbelo. 

The Curbelo bill was drafted when Ryan exploited a pro-amnesty push by Curbelo and other business-first GOP legislators to push an amnesty for younger “DACA” illegals. Ryan blocked the amnesty push by crafting a pro-business “Goodlatte II” bill to sink Goodlatte’s bill.

If the GOP actually followed the principles it claims to have, we would control both Congress and the White House, forever.  But voters are faced with a choice - do they want to vote for a bunch of Anti-American National Socialist shitheels who are trying to destroy America (Democrats), or do they want to vote for a bunch of big-government Democrats-in-everything-but-name who lie about their intentions every single day in order to get elected (Republicans)?  Most folks are going to go with the people who are open about their intentions, because it's easier to resist someone who's frank about their hatred for this country.  GOP voters were tired of pulling knives out of their back, and they were sick and tired of Paul Fucking Ryan and the rest of the GOP establishment putting them there.

I hate the Democrat Party for being anti-American marxists, and I hate the Republican Party for being a bunch of backstabbing traitors.  That's why I voted for Donald Trump.  That's why I'll vote for him in 2020 if he runs.  And if he doesn't run, I'll vote for someone else who will make the GOP scream in anger.  Because then maybe they'll begin to have a small taste of the absolute rage I feel every time I see the GOP betray it's base.  Which is a daily occurrence, at this point.

Donald Trump didn't lose the House.  The GOP lost the House by shitting all over their voters ONCE AGAIN.  And they might lose the Senate next time too.

Corruption runs deep, but Leftist seem to fail upward

So. the former Metropolitan Chief of Police who bungled the Seth Rich murder investigation is now the Chief of Security at the NFL.  Oh, and also, she likes to hob-nob with DNC bigwigs and sits on a board with the former wife of John Podesta.

So yet another Clintonista skated while the skating was good, and got a fat job pushing Progtard values at a converged institution.  You want to know why the NFL has no problem with it's players kneeling during the anthem?  Because the NFL is run by people who associate far more with the Democrat leadership than they do with Joe Sixpack from Kansas City.

Oh, and just in case you were wondering, no, I'm not watching the game.  I'm guessing most of you already knew that.

This reminds me of my time working at the EMP in Seattle.  The Director of the place was stepping down, and they brought in a new director from the Seattle Center to take over.  The new director had just stepped down as director of the Seattle Center after triggering a lawsuit over unpaid benefits from Seattle Center staff that cost the Center over $2.5 million.  So, after that spectacular debacle of crashing the Seattle Center's traffic into the ground and costing the center millions of dollars due to her violating employee's contracts, she got a better paying gig right next door because she knew the right people and said the right things.  She promptly laid off half of the EMP staff.  The last time I walked by the place, it was even more empty of patrons than when I got laid off.  A month after I got laid off, I got another job with higher pay, so it wasn't like I got screwed over.  And quite frankly, the guys who didn't get laid off quickly left when they could.  Under her "leadership", employee turn-over increased quite a bit.

I highly doubt she's still the director there.  However, this being Seattle, I am willing to bet money that she's driven several other organizations into the ground, and still gets paid six figures a year, or more.

This woman, Kathy Lanier, was the Chief of Police for one of the most crime-ridden cities in America.  After the department she was responsible for completely bungled one of the most high-profile murders in recent history, she failed upwards into a cushy job thanks to her political connections.  I have no doubt that she'll "succeed" in her new job like she did in her old one.

This is why group identity is so important for Leftists.  They don't succeed based on their own merits, or on the basis of past work.  They continue to fail time and time again, but someone else always pays the price.  And as long as they signal the right virtues, and say the right things about the right people, they will continue to find new work, to fail upwards.

Whereas folks the right judge you based on your body of work.  Any conservative with half a brain would never have hired the failed executive who cost the Seattle Center millions of dollars in lawsuits and lawyers fees to take over a failing music museum.  Because we don't care what virtue you signal.  We want to know if you can get people in the door, paying for tickets, buying food and drink, and keeping our employees employed.

Apparently, the NFL really doesn't care about that.  Oh well. 

The name Logan Huysman should be put out there

As a special little snowflake who thinks she can assault a cop and then lie about it on social media.

Burlington, VT – 18-year-old Logan Huysman took to social media after her arrest, claiming that Burlington police sexually assaulted her. She even showed off bruises on her arms as proof. In response, Chief Brandon del Pozo released the bodycam footage which showed an impaired Huysman acting disorderly, assaulting police officers, and more (video below.) 

Not only that, but Chief Brandon del Pozo even responded directly to the girl’s Facebook post, prompting a wave of outrage at the girl’s behavior which resulted in her deleting the post.

Personally I think it was a brilliant move by the Chief, and probably garnered him more loyalty from his cops than anything else he could have done.

But of course, the rancid anal drippings known as the ACLU are upset about it.

The ACLU is not happy that the chief released facts about the case in order to counter lies spread by Logan Huysman, accusing him of using facts to “shut down conversations.”

Here's a clue for the prolapsed hemorrhoids of the ACLU:  You don't "shut down a conversation" with facts.  If facts "shut down conversation", then it wasn't really a conversation to begin with.  It was a SMEAR JOB based on LIES from a triggered little snowflake who thinks she's above the law.

I'm rather sick and tired of the ACLU.

Pray for the Police

The Commie Agitator in Chief has done his job well.  Three cops ambushed last night.  One dead, two still kicking even though one was shot in the face.  Twice.

Maybe if President Faily McWorsethanCarter hadn't spent the past eight years stirring up racial hatred as a way to gain political power, we wouldn't be seeing this level of violence right now.  But since that jug-eared example of what happens when you mix Shit with Failure has done nothing productive in his life, he needed that racial hatred.  Without that racial hatred, he's nothing.

There's Obama's legacy for ya - a country more racially divided, and cops being ambushed and shot in the face.  Way to go, Bathhouse Barry Obumblefuck!

If these two quivering lumps of feminist fumunda cheese gave a damn about science, they wouldn't have even noticed his shirt.  They would have been too focused on the fact that this dude just LANDED A SPACECRAFT ON A COMET, WHICH NOBODY IN THE ENTIRE HISTORY OF SPACEFLIGHT HAS EVER DONE BEFORE.

But no, that's all just passé these days.  It's his shirt that catches their attention.  But they care about science and NASA and spaceflight and stuff.  Yeah.  Right.  Sure.  Uh-huh.  Pull the other leg.

This piece is a perfect representation of Feminism in America:  So focused on their own feelings and butthurt-ness that they disregard and throw away actual accomplishments in favor of anti-male groupthink and politically correct gobbledygook.  When I first saw the photo, I saw a guy in a loud Hawaiian shirt.  I didn't see anything else, because I was too busy trying to figure out how the hell they landed a probe on a comet.

But then, I'm not a feminist, so I actually care about science rather than group-think and FEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELINGS.  

The anti-Midas touch

Where everything you touch turns to shit.  Turns out that Eric Shinseki has that.

You don't know who Eric Shinseki is?  He was the Chief of Staff of the Army back in 2001 who mandated that all Soldiers wear a beret as their headgear.  He wanted everyone to wear the beret in order to improve the esprit de corps.  This pissed off just about everybody.

The Rangers hated it, because Shinseki demanded that all Army Soldiers wear a black beret, and the black beret was the Ranger's color.  They now wear tan.

The rest of the Army hated it because we now had to wear a floppy hat that took two hands to get it sitting on your head correctly, that held in heat thanks to the fact that it was BLACK and WOOL, and stank to high heaven after a period of constant wear.

All in all, it was a decision that was a self-inflicted dick-stomping, and rather than improving the esprit de corps of the Army it did the opposite.  The beret was universally reviled by everyone who had to wear it, and in 2011 the Sergeant Major of the Army, who had listened to the troops, ordered that the soft cap be returned as the headgear for daily wear in garrison.  The beret still exists for the Class A Uniform.

So I told you all that just so I can tell you all this - the same guy who made that colossal mistake was put in charge of the Department of VA back in 2009.

And now we get this.....

A Veterans Affairs employee at the VA Medical Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming, has been placed on administrative leave after CBS News obtained an email showing an employee directing his staff on how to game the appointments system to make it appear as though veterans were being seen within the VA's 14-day directive.

And this is on top of the crap going on at the Phoenix VA...

Look, the VA has been in trouble for a while.  You can't conduct a thirteen year war and expect that the facilities you had in place before the war are going to be adequate to deal with the amount of healthcare that's going to be required by the troops coming home.  But Shinseki has been in place for five years now.  And what, if anything, has he done?

Everything he touches, it seems, turns to shit.....
