Who We Are

I was going to post a link to this with several caveats, until I realized that Dr. Zero never once put the word "Republican" into his manifesto.

So it's all good. Who We Are.

We believe in the power and righteousness of capitalism, the exchange of goods and services between free people acting in their own best interests. There is no moral substitute for it. Every other scheme for governing human affairs amounts to a few dominating some, to the applause of others. Our freedom is not for sale, and we reserve the right to defend it from theft.

Oh REALLY, Nancy?

Bruce has a video of the Clueless Communist Clusterfucked Cunt from California accusing conservatives of waving "swastikas" at Tea Parties.

And he's got a response in pictures that the brainless botoxed bitch should be reminded of. In fact, I think I'm going to copy that photo down, email it to my congresscritters and ask them if they have balls enough to refute Pelosi's hypocrisy on the House floor.

Oh, and by the way - what we have here on top of that hypocrisy is a classic case of projection. Showing up at protests and waving swastikas is what the Democrat American Communist Party does. So naturally they think we do it too.

Oh, and by the way, Dimocrats - if you're going to howl about "astroturfing", maybe it's not such a good idea to get caught bussing in your own handpicked union thugs to a town hall meeting. You worthless fucking parasites.

Couple of quick links

Before I head on out this morning. First is this Powerline piece taking note of the White House's response to the Drudge Report (and other websites) who put up Obama's 2007 speech about how he'll eliminate private insurance plans. The White House doesn't even bother to refute anything, they just push out some pre-made talking points and leave it at that. Pathetic.

What is even more pathetic is the way the Democrat American Communist Party is trying to demonize the citizens of this country who are standing up and letting their feelings and opinions be known. If anything highlights the way the Left feels about this country, it's the way they've reacted to the Tea Parties and protests, by trying to discredit the protesters rather than actually respond to their complaints. It's the classic leftist tactic of attacking the messenger, not the message. What their squealing really shows is that we're getting to them. Remember, the more they're scared, the more they'll attack people.

Gah. At this point I'm just glad that some Americans woke the hell up. I hope it's not too late.

Loving it

Make it viral. Let's slap these things all over America. And since we're stealing Obama links from C&S.....

You want to know why I think Obama's health care plan would eliminate private insurance? Because here he is, saying it'll eliminate private insurance. In 2007. Most polititicans talk out of both sides of their mouth. This guy LIES out of both sides of his mouth.

Humidity and Heat

I'm a Northern guy. Despite all my time traveling and moving around, I prefer living up North in cooler climates.

So...... Atlanta in August. Yeah. Not enjoying it all that much. Nice place, friendly folks, HOT AND HUMID AS ALL HELL!

What, every hotel in Minneapolis was taken? Gah.

Found it here. Dude, I want one!

Hey, Guess What?

Yeah, I'm off again. Hopefully they'll have free internet this time.

I ain't paying ten bucks a day for the internet, sorry. I'm not dirt poor, but I'm not wealthy enough to waste that money.

More Linky Love!

Via GeekWithA.45, via Kevin Baker, comes Linoge with graphic evidence that more guns DO NOT equal more crime.

And the graph, updated with new data. Is this going to be an ongoing project?

Get the news out

Via Cold Fury, via the Corner, is this article at the Hoover Institution. Ten reasons why our health care system is better. Go read all ten, but I'm going to highlight #10 right here and right now:

10. Americans are responsible for the vast majority of all health care innovations. The top five U.S. hospitals conduct more clinical trials than all the hospitals in any other developed country. Since the mid- 1970s, the Nobel Prize in medicine or physiology has gone to U.S. residents more often than recipients from all other countries combined. In only five of the past thirty-four years did a scientist living in the United States not win or share in the prize. Most important recent medical innovations were developed in the United States.

Ladies and Gentlemen, our medical system subsidizes the rest of the entire world's health care. Period. Full stop. All of those government-controlled health care systems out there, where do you think they get all their research from? By and large, it's from America. All those wonder drugs that come out for whatever condition you have, where do you think those come from? From American pharmaceutical companies. Oh, and let's not forget all the research that goes into making sure that your blood pressure medication doesn't interact and cancel out your heart medication, or your allergy medication, or your gout medication, or your thyroid medication, or your arthritis medication. What, you think that happened naturally? You think that pill A just magically worked with pill B by nature's doing? No my good people, there were millions, if not BILLIONS of dollars that went into research to make sure you could take Tylenol with your heart medication, and if you think the government is the one who paid for all of that research you're smoking more than just cigarettes. If you think the government is going to be the one paying for all of that research in the utopian, government run future, you're REALLY smoking crack.

Hey, how many drug companies are there in Canada right now? Great Britain? France? Compare them to America. Americans, and the much derided capitalist American health care system has provided more innovations and breakthroughs in health care than ANYONE on the planet, and it's safe to say that we've provided more of those than anyone else combined. Let the government take over health care, and that. Will. Cease. Enjoy whatever medication we currently have, because that's what we'll have twenty years from now. Of course, that's assuming that there will be anyone alive old enough to need it, after Obamacare decides that Granny isn't worth operating on, and issues an end of life order for her in order to save the government money.

You think I'm kidding?

RANGE DAY!

Mosin-Nagant? Check.
.22LR in both pistol and rifle forms? Check.
M1911A1? Check.
S&W Model 36 in .38 Special? Check.
Wolf .50 Caliber muzzle loader? Check.

Step-son? Check.

Pardon me for the lack of blogging, but we'll be blowing holes in paper for a goodly long while today.

UPDATE: Ammo expended -

7.62X54R - 20
.45 ACP - 50
.38 Special - 60
.22LR - 800
.50 Caliber lead ball - 20

It was a good day. I spent quite a bit of time with the step-son, ensuring that he remembered the basics, and then expounding on what he knew. He spent hours happily poking holes in paper at long distances. I then proceeded to sight in the muzzle-loader, and made sure the Mosin-Nagant was still sighted in. I'm certain that as of right now, I could take both of them hunting and hit what I was aiming at. I only recently got my M1911 fixed, and so this was the first range session in a long time for it. Ran a box through it, had two failure to feeds, but that could have been the steel case Wolf ammo. In any case, the gunsmith did a good repair job considering the thousands upon thousands of rounds that I've put through it over the years. The S&W ran sixty rounds through nicely, although you expect that with a S&W revolver.

All in all, it was a darn good day. Especially since I gave the wife time enough to set up the step-son's suprise birthday party without him having any hint of it.

Heheheheheheheh.

Obama's Post Racial Panthers

Heritage Foundation : Panther Politicization at Obama DoJ
The Washington Times has published more follow-up stories today and yesterday about the Justice Department’s dismissal of a voter intimidation lawsuit against the New Black Panther Party (a racist hate group according to the Southern Poverty Law Center) – despite the fact that the defendants defaulted and failed to answer the complaint. The new revelation is that Associate Attorney General Thomas J. Perrelli approved the dismissal. He is the No. 3 official at Justice and is a political appointee who raised $500,000 for President Obama’s campaign.

There is no doubt that this was one of the worst cases of voter intimidation the Department has seen in decades, but it was against militant black defendants, not white defendants. This is exactly the kind of situation that upsets the traditional civil rights community, which does not believe that federal voting rights laws should be used to protect white voters. The Department’s weak and belated explanation for the dismissal of this suit is frankly absurd.

The Department’s spokeswoman says that “the facts and the law did not support pursuing the claims.” Really? Then why is the Department refusing to allow the trial team who actually investigated the “facts and the law” or the chief of the Voting Section who supervised the investigation to brief members of Congress? We all know why – because those lawyers would dispute the spurious claim being made by their political superiors.

The message from the Justice Department with this dismissal is that if you are a member of a black hate group, you can intimidate, threaten, and hurl racial epithets at white voters and poll watchers, and the Justice Department will give you a pass. We all know that if it had been the Ku Klux Klan or the Aryan Brotherhood at the polls in Philadelphia acting in this manner towards black voters, Associate Attorney General Perelli and Attorney General Holder would never have even considered dismissing the case. They would be bragging in the press about their pursuit of a civil injunction against all of these defendants, and would be pressing the Criminal Division at Justice to indict them on criminal charges.

Stop The ACLU : DOJ Civil Rights: Black Panther Voter Fraud Absolved
After intimidating voters at a Philadelphia polling precinct, decked out like a military thugs from a third world country, wielding at least one 2-ft. long nightstick, a civil lawsuit was filed. The three men charged refused to show up for their court cases for five months – that’s 5 months – and they did show! The government won a default judgement in federal court against the New Black Panthers and three of their men. In April, however, department lawyers were told to drop the case – after already procuring the default judgment. Unbelievable.
...

Schmaler is certainly a Liberal. She had the audacity to says “we [DOJ] are committed to vigorous enforcement of the laws protecting anyone exercising his or her right to vote.” Only Liberals have that special kind of audacity. What about the people of Philadelphia? What about the people inside and outside the polling place? What about Mr. Bull – a man who signed an affidavit tell what he saw that day?
...

Can you believe that the DOJ never did get around to entering Mr. Bull’s affidavit! I know it is drama to say that I want to cry for this country and for my children, but that is how I feel. This is not justice. Where is the ACLU on behalf of the American voter?
...

King Samir Shabazz (L) and Jerry Jackson (R), both of Philadelphia. See them all in the video...

The Muffled Oar : Washington Times Confirms: Department Lied to Congress
...the New Black Panthers were featured on the Obama for President website in March 2008.
...

"Stephen R. Morse, a blogger hired by Republicans to be at the polls and who videotaped the confrontation, said the NBPP members blatantly used racial insults on would-be voters and other poll watchers, telling one man, 'Cracker, you about to be ruled by a black man.'
The Muffled Oar : "Nonthreatening" Black Panther defendant likes "Killing Crakkkers"
Jackson was mysteriously dismissed from the case because the Department falsely claimed Jackson lived where the poll was located and that Jackson was not threatening.
...

"Mr. Jackson's MySpace page still lists one of his main 'general interests' as 'Killing Crakkkas.' Four days after the Justice Department dropped the complaint against Mr. Jackson, he again was named an official election poll watcher for the Democratic primary in Philadelphia's municipal election. How convenient."

I'm with ya, Drumwaster

But in order to accomplish said task, it'll probably require more than a simple note. The government does not give power back peacefully.

You want to fix healthcare?

And I've said this for frikkin' YEARS now...

So has my wife.....

If you want to make health care affordable, get the blood-sucking, ambulance-chasing, get-rich-quick parasites (like John Edwards) away from health care. Limit the "pain and suffering" damages that make people sue doctors at the drop of a hat in an attempt to get rich. Because that will lower the cost of their malpractice insurance.

Or, keep going down the road we're on, and lose your doctors and your health care.

The choice is yours. Me, I like modern medicine, and I'd like to see it advance while I'm alive.

End Times for Freedom

Part One

Part Two

Part Three

I won't go into quoting bits and pieces. I'll just say that it's the writing of one Francsis Porretto, and trust you to go read it. The one comment I will make is in reference to Part One - when you break the law by following the law, it's the law itself that's broken, and no one can truly be free until the law and the people who wrote it are removed.

Ladies and Gentlemen....

If this health care bill passes, it would be the final nail in the coffin of the country. Period, end of story. And the fact that such things as:

Pg 425 Lines 17-19 Govt will instruct and consult regarding living wills, durable powers of atty. Mandatory!

Pg 425 Lines 22-25, 426 Lines 1-3 Govt provides approved list of end of life resources, guiding you in death. Excuse me???!?!?!?

Pg 427 Lines 15-24 Govt mandates program for orders for end of life. The Govt has a say in how your life ends

Pg 429 Lines 1-9 An “advance care planning consult” will be used frequently as patient's health deteriorates

Pg 429 Lines 10-12 “Advance care consultation” may include an ORDER for end of life plans. AN ORDER from GOV

Pg 429 Lines 13-25 - The govt will specify which Doctors can write an end of life order.

Pg 430 Lines 11-15 The Govt will decide what level of treatment you will have at end of life

Are being proposed is enough cause for me to call for the impeachment of those who vote for it. There's more at the link. It's not pretty.

Yep

Kevin Baker's brother sent him an email.......

Tell me again why people thought GWB was so stupid?

If George W. Bush had given Gordon Brown a set of inexpensive and incorrectly formatted DVDs, when Brown had given him a thoughtful and historically significant gift, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had given the Queen of England an iPod containing videos of his speeches, would you have thought this embarrassingly narcissistic and tacky?

If George W. Bush had bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had visited Austria and made reference to the non-existent "Austrian language," would you have brushed it off as a minor slip?

If George W. Bush had filled his cabinet and circle of advisors with people who cannot seem to keep current on their income taxes, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had been so Spanish illiterate as to refer to "Cinco de Cuatro" in front of the Mexican ambassador when it was the fourth of May (Cuatro de Mayo), and continued to flub it when he tried again, would you have winced in embarrassment?

If George W. Bush had misspelled the word advice would you have hammered him for it for years like Dan Quayle and potatoe as "proof" of what a dunce he is?

If George W. Bush had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel to go plant a single tree on "Earth Day," would you have concluded he's a hypocrite?

If George W. Bush's administration had okayed Air Force One flying low over millions of people followed by a jet fighter in downtown Manhattan causing widespread panic, would you have wondered whether they actually "get" what happened on 9-11?

If George W. Bush had been the first President to need a teleprompter installed to be able to get through a press conference, would you have laughed and said this is more proof of how he inept he is on his own and is really controlled by smarter men behind the scenes?

If George W. Bush had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had proposed to double the national debt within 10 years, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had given the unions a majority stake in GM and Chrysler, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to take Laura Bush to a play in NYC, would you have approved?

So, tell me again, what is it about Obama that makes him so brilliant and impressive? Can't think of anything? Don't worry. He's done all this in 6 months -- so you'll have three years and six months to come up with an answer.

If the media had not been so in the tank for Obama, maybe America could have seen just what a jackass the man really is. Speaking of the Democrat American Communist Party Propaganda Corps, and since I've already stolen one link from Mr. Baker today, why not steal another and give you this gem?

As the dew dries to crusted smegma on the Obama rose, we need to find better metaphors for the Obamallationist media that's looking for a way to rinse the acrid taste out of their morning-after mouths.

Yes, with every passing day spin is getting more and more difficult and desperate for those that stapled their scrotums to the axles of Obama's juggernaut. To paraphrase their jug-eared idol, "It seems that each successive yelp from the executive suites of these dying outlets has said, in the face of plummeting ratings, circulation and interest, that somehow these media communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to reverse-racism or progressive-religion or antipathy to white people who aren’t like Democrats."

Remember, every time a "news"paper has to stop it's presses, the baby Jesus smiles!

Back in the Saddle again

Well, I'd love to say the wedding went off without a hitch, but......

So anyways, it was still a good weekend. I got to spend time with friends and family, I saw a friend that I had not seen in over a decade, there was much food, a wee bit 'o booze (I was one of the few who stayed relatively sober) and a lot of laughs.

All in all, it was good. Photos to follow, maybe.

concealed carry reciprocicity

On Wednesday, July 22, by a margin of 58-39, a bipartisan majority of the U.S. Senate voted in favor of an amendment offered by Senators John Thune (R-SD) and David Vitter (R-LA) to provide interstate recognition of Right-to-Carry permits. The amendment to S.1390 -- the National Defense Authorization Act -- would acknowledge that the right to self-defense extends across state lines. Under this provision, individuals with carry permits from their home state, or who are otherwise allowed to carry a firearm in their home state, could carry in any other state that issues permits.

Despite the bipartisan majority of votes, the Thune-Vitter amendment did not pass because it fell just two votes short of the required 60 votes for approval. This 60-vote approval threshold was decided upon by a procedural agreement between Senate leaders. The agreement was, in part, used to avoid a filibuster and any hostile amendments to the Thune-Vitter amendment.

Steps are being taken

to prevent ACORN from getting their stimulus bribe. But, is it a day late and an effort short?

Within the last week, Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, has introduced several amendments to various pieces of legislation to prohibit ACORN from receiving taxpayer funds and to prevent the group from helping carry out the 2010 census.

Congressional Democrats have fought King's efforts, rejecting each amendment he has submitted.

Since 1994, ACORN has received more than $53 million in federal funds, according to the report.

Specifically, the report made the following criminal allegations:

  1. ACORN has evaded taxes, obstructed justice, engaged in self-dealing, and aided and abetted a cover-up of embezzlement by Dale Rathke, the brother of ACORN founder Wade Rathke.

  2. ACORN has committed investment fraud, deprived the public of its right to honest services, and engaged in racketeering affecting interstate commerce.

  3. ACORN has committed a conspiracy to defraud the United States by using taxpayer funds for partisan political activities.

  4. ACORN has submitted false filings to the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Labor, in addition to violating the Fair Labor Standards Act.

  5. ACORN falsified and concealed facts concerning an illegal transaction between related parties in violation of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974.

A few last posts

Just a quick jot before I jet off to my amigo's nuptials. First up, Rodger has a 'lil rundown of the healthcare travesty currently making it's way through Congress. I strongly suggest you go read it. It's worse than we thought, folks. This is total and complete government takeover of the health care industry.

Second - I've seen this linked by quite a few folks, so let me get in on the linky action here. Peggy Noonan is jealous.

You're Peggy Noonan and you're jealous. You do stuff, too -- and yet all you hear is Sarah, Sarah, Sarah. Don't they read your columns, don't they understand that she's "dropping her G's," that she is "faux down-home, patronizing-and infantilizing"? You have ten, maybe a hundred times the vocabulary she has, and yet they're talking about her. Don't you read my columns, people!? She is a "dope and unqualified," representative of "a new vulgarization" and still, they talk about her.

Now here's my little qualifier for anyone who wants to tell me what the Republican Stupid Party should do - did that person advocate for or vote for Obama? If so, they can go take a flying fuck at a rolling doughnut. They aren't conservative at all. Period. Do not vote for Obama and then tell me how to be conservative, because you've proven that you don't know the meaning of the word. It would be like a vegitarian trying to tell me how to eat a steak.

Quote of the day: Anything that requires the labor of someone else cannot be a universal human right.

Damn skippy. And now I'm off. I'll see you all later, probably around Wednesday.

Bloggus Interuptus part oh hell who knows

Only this time, it's not for the military! I have a buddy who's getting hitched, and I'm going to his wedding. The Ragin' Mrs. will be staying back, so I've given her carte blanche to rip the guts out of my computer while I'm gone. Since the Windows Vista virus has once again reduced my computer to little shards of what it used to be, she'll be doing a full re-format and reload on it.

I hate Vista.

So anyways, while the Mrs. might be posting a bit, I will not be until next week. But that's why I have the blogroll, right?

As an aside, if there's any folks who used to post here, who would still like the ability to do so, speak up in the comments. I'm about to go through all the people who have permissions and start deleting anyone who hasn't posted in a while.

I'm linking to it

Not only to keep it from being ignored, but also to show just who we on the Right are fighting:

Stokes County sheriff's deputies arrested the president of the local NAACP chapter on child sex and firearms charges Monday.

CBS affiliate WFMY reports that Larry Lash, 54, of Walnut Cove, was charged with six counts of statutory rape and two counts of sex offense and first-degree sex offense, among other sex charges.

Sheriff Mike Joyce told WFMY that there were three victims, including two under 16-years-old and that the alleged sex acts took place at Lash's home over a period of time.

Investigators found five guns and ammunition at Lash's house when they arrested him, leading to a charge of possession of a firearm by a felon. According to state Department of Correction records, Lash was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 1974 and assault by pointing a gun and discharging a firearm into property in 1978.

I'm not going to hold a guy accountable for a crime he committed and did jail time for twenty years ago, but it does call into question his mental status. And the fact that the media doesn't seem to want to report on this story means that there's a political angle to it.

Now add on the fact that the NAACP is one of the most partisan, plantation-guarding groups out there, and that they always, ALWAYS go for the Democrat.... there shouldn't be any doubt as to why the media doesn't want to carry the story.

Leftist Tactics

Just a quick scribble before I head off this morning - observe the perfect Leftist tactics as used by one former Honduran President:

A Spanish Catalan newspaper is reporting that Honduran authorities have seized computers found in the Presidential Palace belonging to deposed president Mel Zelaya. Taking a page right out of the leftist dictator's handbook, these computers, according to the news report, contained the official and certified results of the illegal constitutional referendum Zelaya wanted to conduct that never took place. The results of this fraudulent vote was tilted heavily in Zelaya's favor, ensuring he could go ahead and illegally change the constitution so he could remain in power for as long as he wanted to.

Huh, imagine that. The results of an election that never took place were found on the dictator-wanna-be's computer. Gosh, I wonder why? And thank god Honduras kicked that bastard out before he could play his endgame. And no, I'm not surprised that Obama supported Zelaya - they're of the same mindset.

Reaping what they sow

When something like this happens...

My wife's employer just sent her a letter announcing that, as of August 1st ...
  1. Employee retirement funds will be frozen
  2. Funds will no longer accrue
  3. And this little bombshell
You need to just write it down, because the communists, idiots, and Democrats (multiple redundancy alert) will deny that they ever, EVER meant for this to happen.

Liars.

They will reap what they sow.

Note to self

When stepping 0ff the plane at Reagan International Airport, it's probably BEST to not turn to the gentleman next to you, lean in, and in a loud voice announce...

"Ah, Washington D.C. You'll never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy!"

But fuck it, he was probably some career bureaucrat anyways.

Soldier who challenged Presidents elegibility had orders recinded.

A U.S. Army Reserve major from Florida scheduled to report for deployment to Afghanistan within days has had his military orders revoked after arguing he should not be required to serve under a president who has not proven his eligibility for office.

Reading through this article I can feel their excitement. Though I feel it is premature. As much as they want to be excited about this victory, I feel the worst is yet to come for this particular soldier. I expect a discharge, the hard kind to get, dishonorable. I pray I am wrong.

Heading out yet again

I get the wonderful opportunity to cut my leave short and head out on yet another mission!

I love the military, but sometimes I wish it would let me rest every now and then.

Ladies and Gentlemen...

I submit to you that the very fact this particular bill was allowed into Congress.....

Rep. Alcee Hastings - the impeached Florida judge Nancy Pelosi tried to install as chairman of the House Intelligence Committee until her own party members rebelled - introduced an amendment to the defense authorization bill that gives Attorney General Eric Holder sole discretion to label groups that oppose government policy on guns, abortion, immigration, states' rights, or a host of other issues. In a June 25 speech on the House floor, Rep. Trent Franks, R-AZ, blasted the idea: "This sounds an alarm for many of us because of the recent shocking and offensive report released by the Department of Homeland Security which labeled, arguably, a majority of Americans as 'extremists.'"

Is reason enough to call for Hastings' impeachment, and forcible removal if necessary. And should this pile of crap manage to pass the House, then I consider that reason enough to impeach each and every congresscritter who voted "Aye".

Found, among other places, at Big Dick's Place.

The budget busting Congress

So anyways, I spoke yesterday about a certain person in a certain forum that I sometimes frequent. There are other people on that forum, big Obama supporters, who screamed about the Bush deficits during the election. They would wave Republican spending around like a bloody shirt as a reason why we should all vote for change. And when I pointed out that the likelyhood of spending slowing down under Obama was nil, I was insulted and verbally abused.

So, now the deficit hits $1,000,000,000,000 (one TRILLION dollars!) for the first time EVER.

So I've actually hunted these folks down (metaphorically speaking), waved the one TRILLION dollar deficit under their noses and asked them this question:

When you were howling about the Bush deficits as a reason to vote for Obama, were you just that fucking stupid, or were you purposefully lying? Either way, it doesn't look too good.

Sotomayor

Barring the rise of the GOP into adequacy, we're about to have a small-minded, racist judge sitting on the highest court of the land. And if that doesn't make you weep, then you're in dire need of medication. I was going to type out a manifesto on her, but Gabriel Malor at Ace of Spades HQ has already done so.

When I write that Sotomayor's extensive history of race- and gender-bias should disqualify her for a seat on the Supreme Court that's not hyperbole. I mean it. She should not be a judge because she believes that some individuals are better than others by virtue of membership in certain identity groups. She should not be a judge because she tried to hide a case involving important constitutional and statutory questions from her fellow appellate judges. Such a small-minded and intellectually dishonest person should not be elevated to the highest Court. If only the Republicans on Senate Judiciary agreed.

The Republican Stupid Party has once again displayed the weak-minded, yellow bellied, incompetency that lost them the 2006 elections, and the 2008 elections, and going by what I see, the 2010 elections. Gah.

Monday, July 13, 2009

So.....

There's a person on a certain forum I frequent, both of whom will remain nameless, who is an avowed Obama supporter, and while I don't know if I can classify her as a far-left kook, she's certainly anti-conservative to the core. She works for DOD on weapons systems. She was crowing about Obama's election right after it occured, and I told her in no uncertain terms, "When Obama begins to cut the military, I hope your job is first on the chopping block." The Missile Defense System was round one.

Here begins round two.

And the fact of the matter is, if this person gets laid off, it'll be exactly what she deserves. After all, she voted for it.

Police remove upside down flag for 4th then return it the next day

There is a huge debate as to if the reason this flag was being flown upside down was appropriate or not. I do not wish to enter that debate, though some of you may.

Flying or displaying the flag upside down is an acceptable method of displying the flag as a signal of dire distress and in instances of extreme danger to life or property. This is accoring to Title 36, U.S.C., Chapter 10, § 176.

DSIPLAYING THE FLAG UPSIDE DOWN
My issue is that the town police, on the judgement of the District Attorney removed the flag for the 4th of July parade because "It is illegal to cause a disruption," he said. "There were a lot of vets at that parade." The person flying the flag is an Iraq War Vet who had spent over $200,000 remodeling a restaurant before the town of Critvitz decided not to issue him a liqueur licence for an Italian Restaurant. He started flying the flag in mid-june.

My question is do the police have the right to sieze this flag that is being flow as a protest? Is this supported by the 1st amendment or not? After all people are allowed to burn the flag? How many people flew an upside down flag to protest President Bush?

"It is pretty bad when I go and fight a tyrannical government somewhere else," Congine said, "and then I come home to find it right here at my front door."

Computer infected

So I turned my computer off last Monday before I left. I came back yesterday, turned the computer on, and it wouldn't recognize my secure network.

Did I mention how much I hate Windows? Did I mention how much I hate the virus known as Windows Vista? Have I mentioned that I cannot stand Microsoft?

I'm running an end-around right now just to get online on my own network. Because of Windows Vista. This worthless piece of shit isn't an operating system, it's a pile of crap code sandwiched between two pieces of fail and wrapped up in a box of fuck-you-very-much. The hardware on this laptop is the best that I've ever owned, and if it had an actual operating system instead of the Windows Vista Virus, I would be able to just scream through all the tasks I have to do.

Instead? It's slower than XP, less stable than Windows ME, and the number one reason why I will be buying an Mac the next go around.

Obama holds his hand over his heart...

For Unknown Communist Soldier
But Barack Hussein Obama shows no respect for America...
Gateway Pundit : Obama Won't Admit the US Won the Cold War (Video)
So, we can't even say we won?
Ace : Obama To Russia: Hey Guys, Thanks For Ending The Cold War
"And then, within a few short years, the world as it was ceased to be. Now, make no mistake: This change did not come from any one nation. The Cold War reached a conclusion because of the actions of many nations over many years, and because the people of Russia and Eastern Europe stood up and decided that its end would be peaceful." -- Barack Hussein Obama
That's who ended the Cold War peacefully? Really? Not the generations of Americans who stood watch for decades deterring Soviet expansionism? Not dissidents who rotted in gulags for years keeping the flame of liberty alive during the long winter of communist rule?

It certainly wasn't Ronald Reagan who broke the paradigm which said the Soviet rule was cast in stone, contained perhaps but never to be rolled back.

America...just one of many nations, nothing special.

Bloggus interuptus

I actually have some vacation coming up, and the Ragin' Mrs. and I are headed out to where the only light is either sunlight, moonlight, or oil-fired lamps.

Which means..... no intartubes for a week. Although I may come back with some kick-ass pictures, if all goes well. In the meantime, I won't be posting, and the Ragin' Mrs. sure as hell won't be posting either.

See you in a week. How does the 13th or so sound?

I have two problems with this -

One, the electoral collage is the only thing keeping the liberal cesspools from ruining the country even further, and national service is not written in the Constitution, unless you mean as the unorganized militia.

But other than that.... yep.

Sad part is, I don't know if the kids coming out of the publik skool sistim would understand half of what he says, or why he says it.

Found here.

Hey, here's a question

Do you think that if John McCain had defended Sarah Palin as vociferously as he defended Teleprompter Jesus, do you think Palin would have resigned right now?

I mean, good lord, the woman is $500,000 in debt from defending herself from bogus ethics complaints. That's HALF A MILLION DOLLARS IN DEBT. You want to know why she resigned? Because if she stayed in office, she'd be a million dollars in debt by the end of her term. And not one single ethics complaint has been true. Not one. The State of Alaska has spent $2,000,000 defending Palin from these harassing legal battles.

Two. Million Dollars. To have count after count after count thrown out. The charges are all bullshit. But the Left doesn't care. The left wants to destroy her, because Sarah Palin is the woman who exposes the Feminazi's as the frauds, hypocrites and liars that they are. The "moderate" conservatives in the GOP hate her because .... hell, I don't know why. Maybe because they fear a return to conservative values. Maybe because they know that Sarah Palin, while being a woman, still has bigger balls than half the men in the GOP. Maybe because they know that without Palin, McCain wouldn't have gotten half the votes he got, and they're pissed off about that. But for whatever reason, Palin has been attacked by her own damn party as well as the Left, and to be honest it's made me push myself further away from the GOP than I had previously done.

The Left has done everything in their power to destroy Sarah Palin, and they've been downright vicious and cruel about it. And it's about damn time that one of the nutless fucking wonders of the GOP started playing by their rules. It's about damn time that the spinless sacks of shit who make up the GOP finally figured out that playing nice with the Left only gets you stabbed in the back. And it's well past time to fight fire with fire.

Fuck it, it's war, it's been war for years, and the GOP needs to wake up and smell the damn coffee.

UPDATE: Cold Fury says it better:

Sue them, bankrupt them, ruin their lives, destroy their careers, shut down their blogs and other propaganda outlets, get ‘em locked up wherever possible. Kick them in the teeth again and again, until they howl in pain from the gutter they roll in. Scorch the very earth under their feet. Unleash pure hell on them, and make every single day of their lives a horror and a misery — just as they did to you, just as they’ve done to so many other decent men and women who have the temerity to disagree with their anti-American ideal of what this country should be. Liberal asswipes have gotten away with this sort of thing for far too long.

Palin’s political career is over, you say? If she takes the fight to the villainous curs and sees to it that they get what they so richly deserve for abusing our legal system and undermining our system of government, every true conservative in the country will cheer her loud and long, and will eagerly cast their votes for her in whatever election she decides to contest — which would be a welcome change from dragging ourselves to the polls with reluctance and dismay. Hopefully, this is but the opening salvo in a long, vigorous, and thorough fight. We’ll see. If Palin keeps after them, the sky will be the limit for her. We’ve been waiting for this a long time, and she’s just the person to make it happen.

Reap the whirlwind, you odious, gutless, evil pricks. We’ll fix your little red wagon yet; wait and see if we don’t.

Yep. And let them squeal.

(D)emocrats hate the flag

Gateway Pundit : America-Hating Dems Caught On Tape -- Refuse to Stand For Pledge of Allegiance
America-hating libs in New York State refuse to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. The Democrats even stopped their colleagues from standing for the Pledge...
Barack Hussein Obama didn't just refuse to wear an American flag pin, he dramatically announced it. He painted over the flag on his campaign jet, he refused to say the pledge... yet Cuban flags with the murderer Che Guevera adorn his campaign offices and Barack Hussein Obama rushes to side with Communists Chavez and Castro and Ortega and Morales against the democracies they seek to overturn.

Barack Hussein Obama sucks dictator.

Happy 4th!

As hard as it is, I'm going to avoid any politics today. I've got plenty to do, and the step-son and I made up nine pounds of bratwurst to cook up for dinner with friends.

Spend time with your friends and family, and have a happy 4th of July.

Duke rape case

What, did you think about the white Lacrosse players? No, sorry, this is the Duke professor who raped his adopted son. For some reason, it didn't make it into the national news like that other rape case, where all those Lacrosse players were innocent.

Frank Lombard is the associate director of Duke’s Center for Health Policy. The university administrator was recently arrested by the FBI and charged with offering up his adopted 5-year-old son for sex. I tried to contact Frank Lombard over the weekend to probe his expertise regarding the health benefits of raping small children. So far, he’s declined to comment.

University administrator Lombard is accused of logging on to a chat room online and describing himself as a “perv dad for fun.” The detective who wisely looked into the suspicious screen name says that Lombard admitted to molesting his own adopted son. All this was before allegedly inviting a stranger to travel to North Carolina from another state to statutorily rape his already-molested adopted son.

I'm about to get all kinds of un-politically correct here - but in all the Catholic child molestation cases, did you ever hear about a Catholic priest molesting a little girl? Nope, it was boys, boys, boys.

Will I lose readers for that comment? Doubtfull, since I have very few readers to begin with. But there it is. And you can draw your own conclusions.

The thought of having sex with a five year old is disgusting. Period. End of story. If you like having sex with a five year old, get the hell out. Stop reading. I don't need you reading this blog. But you know what? The thought of adopting a five year old with the thought of raping him?

I don't care who you are, that's worthy of the firing squad. I do not honestly believe that you can "rehabilitate" someone who likes to screw a five-year old boy. Someone who adopts a little boy with the express purpose of molesting him? There's no turning back. You might be able to beg God for forgiveness, but I do not believe that you can ever return to society from that. You rape a five year old, you deserve a blindfold and five bullets. That. Is. It.

But what do you hear from the Left? Crickets. Where are the dozens of professors signing a statement denouncing the rape? I mean, like all those professors signed against the lacrosse players?

Oh, there isn't one? What a fucking surprise. Because a gay man raping a little black boy is OK with them.

Gah. Can anyone give me one reason to let this asshat live?

Compare and Contrast

Over at Gateway Pundit there's two photos, one of a small rally in support of Zelaya, and one of a massive rally against Zelaya. Guess which rally the American Media American Communist Party Propaganda Corps focused on?

Would you like to die a horrible, painful death?

Then just let Obama and the government take over your health care. At this point I have no hope of preventing the takeover. You can shove proof under a Leftist nose and they ignore it. You can provide reams of evidence to a Leftist and they ignore it. You can show the them results of their plans, and a Leftist will blame it on someone else. You can shove a Leftist's failure after failure right under their nose, and they will sniff and proclaim it to be a bouquet of roses.

They are pushing for a system that cannot work, will not work, and more importantly DOES NOT WORK. This isn't some theory. This isn't guesswork. This isn't just on paper, there are real world examples of systems that the Left wants to impose on this country and they all fail to meet the standards set by the American health care system.

Infant mortality rates are often cited as a reason socialized medicine and a single-payer system is supposed to be better than what we have here. But according to Dr. Linda Halderman, a policy adviser in the California State Senate, these comparisons are bogus.

As she points out, in the U.S., low birth-weight babies are still babies. In Canada, Germany and Austria, a premature baby weighing less than 500 grams is not considered a living child and is not counted in such statistics. They're considered "unsalvageable" and therefore never alive.

Norway boasts one of the lowest infant mortality rates in the world — until you factor in weight at birth, and then its rate is no better than in the U.S.

In other countries babies that survive less than 24 hours are also excluded and are classified as "stillborn." In the U.S. any infant that shows any sign of life for any length of time is considered a live birth.

A child born in Hong Kong or Japan that lives less than a day is reported as a "miscarriage" and not counted. In Switzerland and other parts of Europe, a baby is not counted as a baby if it is less than 30 centimeters in length.

In 2007, there were at least 40 mothers and their babies who were airlifted from British Columbia alone to the U.S. because Canadian hospitals didn't have room. It's worth noting that since 2000, 42 of the world's 52 surviving babies weighing less than 400g (0.9 pounds) were born in the U.S.

It must be embarrassing to Canada that a G-7 economy and a country of 30 million people can't offer the same level of health care as a town of just over 50,000 in rural Montana. Where will Canada send its preemies and other critical patients when we adopt their health care system?

I hope that the people who voted for Obama are the first ones to die in his health care system. Found via The Smallest Minority.

OUTFUCKINGSTANDING!

Keep this up, Honduras! It's nice to see that at least one country in North America understands what the rule of law means.

Newly appointed President Roberto Micheletti said it would take a foreign invasion put Zelaya back in power, and said he was sending a delegation to Washington in an attempt to reverse the country's increasing international isolation, though his own foreign minister later denied that.

The fact that the world would rather deal with a Leftist dictator-wannabe shows that it's the world who's mentally, morally and intellectually deficient, not Honduras. And it's obvious that my country's leadership cannot recognize the rule of law at all, preferring instead to support a criminal who would rip his country's constitution into shreds in his naked grab for power.

But as I said, the Democrat American Communist Party has yet to find a Leftist thug it wouldn't perform fellatio on. So we shouldn't be too surprised at all that Obama and Congress support the thug. They supported Venezuela over Columbia. That's all that needs to be said.

So I'm raising a glass to Honduras tonight. Let them keep telling Obama and the rest of the communist cohorts to go fuck off. At least one country in the world understands that Leftists cannot be reasoned with.

Congratulations, Minnesota

You are now represented by a complete and total fucking retard.

Ending an eight-month legal battle, Republican Norm Coleman conceded Tuesday to Democrat Al Franken in the Minnesota Senate race after the state's high court ruled that Franken should be certified as the winner.

As a friend of mine put it - "He was elected by two counties. And only two counties." So it's sort of like King County in Washington state, a cesspool of idiocy surrounded by people who hate it.

This is why the 17th Amendment was such a bad idea. Repealing the 17th Amendment would allow individual States to be represented. As it stands now, we have two houses of representatives, which was never supposed to take place.

When is that civil war coming along?

The "wise latina" shown to be otherwise by the Supreme Court

I have no doubts that y'all have heard about the New Haven decision. Even though I do not believe this will fully derail her, watching the White House try to minimize this tells me that it is a start and I feel I must celebrate!

The Supreme Court's rejection of a decision against white firefighters endorsed by Judge Sonia Sotomayor gives Republicans a renewed chance to attack her speeches and writings but is not expected to imperil her confirmation to the high court, political and legal sources said yesterday.

The decision that the New Haven, Conn., firefighters were unfairly denied promotions because of their race comes two weeks before Sotomayor's Senate confirmation hearings and is an unwelcome distraction for the White House from what had seemed like a relatively smooth confirmation process. It is also somewhat of an embarrassment, forcing administration officials to explain why the court overturned a controversial decision backed by its prospective next member.

Sotomayor was on the three-judge appellate court panel that last year upheld New Haven's decision to throw out a promotion test it gave the firefighters when no African Americans and only two Hispanics qualified for advancement. The 134-word order has been the flash point for much of the debate since President Obama nominated Sotomayor for the Supreme Court. The high court yesterday narrowly reversed the appellate court decision, ruling 5-4 in favor of the white firefighters who sued New Haven. It was the fourth time the Supreme Court has overturned Sotomayor; it has upheld her decisions three times. Experts say the court customarily reverses three-quarters of the cases it reviews.

As reactions broke along the partisan lines seen yesterday on the Supreme Court itself, conservatives called the decision a repudiation of Sotomayor. They signaled they will use it to sharply question her about her views on discrimination, especially in conjunction with her 2001 remark that a "wise Latina woman" would usually decide cases better than a white man.

"Every citizen has a right to have his or her case heard by a judge who will rule on the laws, the facts and the Constitution -- and not play favorites," said Sen. Jeff Sessions (Ala.), the ranking Republican on the Judiciary Committee. "This case sharpens our focus on Judge Sotomayor's troubling speeches and writings, which indicate the opposite belief: that personal experiences and political views should influence a judge's decision."

But Hans von Spakovsky, a legal scholar at the conservative Heritage Foundation and a former Justice Department official, said the case raised questions about Sotomayor's fitness to serve on the high court. "Judge Sotomayor's willingness . . . to allow her admitted personal biases towards certain racial and ethnic groups affect her judging raises serious questions about her qualifications to sit on the Supreme Court," he said.

On the Honduran "coup"

And yes, I put scare quotes around the word "coup", because despite the AP's breathless pronouncement of such, and despite our government's ill placed and ill advised pronouncements, it's not a coup. Just to recount a few points -

The former Honduran president, Manuel Zelaya, was limited by the Honduran constitution to a single four-year term. Zelaya happens to be a Leftist, and like all Leftists he didn't give a shit about his country's constitution when it got in the way of his personal power grab. So he decided to hold a referendum in direct violation of his country's constitution, in order to remain the president after his four year term.

The Supreme Court of Honduras said the referendum was illegal, and would not allow the Honduran government to print up any ballots or do anything to hold Zelaya's referendum. So Zelaya gets a bunch of ballots from his pal Hugo Chavez. The Supreme Court of Honduras forbade the Honduran military from conducting any polls or distributing any ballots. The top general in Honduras tells Zelaya that he won't obey any illegal orders, so Zelaya fires him. The Honduran courts tell Zelaya to re-instate the general, and Zelaya tells them to fuck off. Zelaya finally leads a mob to break into a military base and get the ballots that his pal Hugo Chavez sent. At that point, the military arrests him and ships him off to Costa Rica.

Here's a good run-down of it.

While Honduran law allows for a constitutional rewrite, the power to open that door does not lie with the president. A constituent assembly can only be called through a national referendum approved by its Congress.

But Mr. Zelaya declared the vote on his own and had Mr. Chávez ship him the necessary ballots from Venezuela. The Supreme Court ruled his referendum unconstitutional, and it instructed the military not to carry out the logistics of the vote as it normally would do.

The top military commander, Gen. Romeo Vásquez Velásquez, told the president that he would have to comply. Mr. Zelaya promptly fired him. The Supreme Court ordered him reinstated. Mr. Zelaya refused.

Calculating that some critical mass of Hondurans would take his side, the president decided he would run the referendum himself. So on Thursday he led a mob that broke into the military installation where the ballots from Venezuela were being stored and then had his supporters distribute them in defiance of the Supreme Court's order.

The attorney general had already made clear that the referendum was illegal, and he further announced that he would prosecute anyone involved in carrying it out. Yesterday, Mr. Zelaya was arrested by the military and is now in exile in Costa Rica.

And this is supposed to be a coup? Hmmmmm.... since when does ENFORCING THE LAW OF THE COUNTRY AND SAID COUNTRY'S CONSTITUION EQUAL A COUP????

And of course team Obama jumps right in defending Zalaya, because really, there hasn't been a communist dictator that the Democrat American Communist Party wouldn't coddle up to. Hey Obama? When you're siding with Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro, you're on the wrong fucking side, you damned shithead. Yeah, people were getting SHOT IN THE FUCKING HEAD while they protested in Iran, and Team Obama yawned out some half-assed platitude about how the world was watching, but let one ball-gargling communist get put in his place after they try to violate their country's constitution, and Obama is all over that!

I hope that Honduras continues to tell brainless asshats like Obama and Chavez to take a flying fuck at a rolling donut. There's one less Leftist in power in Latin America, and that's a good thing, no matter what Obama the fucking idiot says.

New Tactics in Afghanistan

If you've got the time, reading this might be beneficial. I haven't written about GEN McChrystal's new rules of engagement in Afghanistan, mainly because while I heard the howling of the masses regarding his new rules, I also knew that McChrystal wasn't some politically correct doofus.

So if you're into the military mode of thinking, go give it a read.

Saturday, June 27, 2009

I was wondering what you think about this ridiculous health care talk out there.

This is just one more reminder that the private sector and competitive market forces, not the federal government, are the best means to meeting our country's rapidly expanding health care needs.

I was looking for a way to try and do something positive about it, and just signed a petition with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce here to help emphasize that. We need to get involved!

Concerning our children and the raising of

Congressional Co-sponsored 101/House Joint Resolution 42 from parentalrights
‘‘ARTICLE —
11 ‘‘SECTION 1. The liberty of parents to direct the12
bringing and education of their children is a fundamental
13 right.
14 ‘‘SECTION 2. Neither the United States nor any State
15 shall infringe upon this right without demonstrating that
16 its governmental interest as applied to the person is of
17 the highest order and not otherwise served.
18 ‘‘SECTION 3. No treaty may be adopted nor shall any
19 source of international law be employed to supersede, mod20
ify, interpret, or apply to the rights guaranteed by this
21 article.’
’.

This would be a good thing.

On the other hand the UN is trying to strong arm us into this:

The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, often referred to as CRC or UNCRC, is an international convention setting out the civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights of children. Nations that ratify this international convention are bound to it by international law. Compliance is monitored by the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child which is composed of members from countries around the world. Once a year, the Committee submits a report to the Third Committee of the United Nations General Assembly, which also hears a statement from the CRC Chair, and the Assembly adopts a Resolution on the Rights of the Child.[4]

Governments of countries that have ratified the Convention are required to report to, and appear before, the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child periodically to be examined on their progress with regards to the advancement of the implementation of the Convention and the status of child rights in their country. Their reports and the committee's written views and concerns are available on the committee's website.

The United Nations General Assembly adopted the Convention and opened it for signature on 20 November 1989 (the 30th anniversary of its Declaration of the Rights of the Child).[5] It came into force on 2 September 1990, after it was ratified by the required number of nations. As of December 2008, 193 countries have ratified it,[1] including every member of the United Nations except the United States and Somalia.[4][6]

Which would NOT be a good thing!

Busy Weekend

Change of Command at the unit. So that means lots of standing outside in formation. Yay. Got a tractor-pull going on in the next town over. The Ragin' Mrs. and I are part of the courtesy cars driving team, which means that we drive the actual pullers around where ever they want to go. Then a 2nd Amendment meeting in Tomah on Sunday afternoon.

Don't expect much from us this weekend. We're already booked.

Atlanta July 4th Tea Party shut down

By Democrat American Communist Party supporters who learned the Left's plan of action rather well - when you can't debate because you don't have anything but a failed ideology on your side, just prevent the other side from speaking!

Lenin and Stalin would be so proud.

Farrah Fawcet dead

Also, Michael Jackson.

I guarantee you the news cycles will be covering nothing but those two for the next week. Cap and trade bill? Huh? LOOKOVERTHEREITSAJACKSONTRIBUTE! Legislation that'll raise your electric bill by $300 or more a month? LOOKOVERTHEREAFAWCETRIBUTE!

This is why I don't watch TV.

Does Obama negotiate with terrorists?

Yes, yes he does!

About two weeks ago, the Obama administration released Laith Qazali after extensive negotiations with the Asaib al-Haq terror network. That network has long been in negotiations with the fledgling Iraqi government, dangling the possibility of laying down its arms, renouncing violence, and integrating into Iraqi society, provided that its top members — particularly Qais and Laith Qazali, as well as Ali Mussa Daqduq — be released. Realizing, however, that these terrorists were responsible for kidnapping and killing American soldiers in gross violation of the laws of war, the Bush administration had declined to release them.

You want to know why I never, ever vote for the Democrat American Communist Party member? Because when ever there is a Donk in the Oval Office, the troops are going to get screwed somehow. If the terrorist tumblefucks realize that Mr. Hope'n'Change will release their terrorist buddies in exchange for a few hostages, GUESS WHAT? THEY'LL KIDNAP MORE PEOPLE! This is worse than amature hour in the White House. This is Jimmy Carter v 2, with worse results.

By contrast, President Obama was persuaded to free Laith Qazali outright, just as Obama previously had authorized the outright release to Britain of the al-Qaeda terrorist Binyam Mohammed, who had plotted with “dirty bomber” José Padilla to commit post-9/11 mass-murder attacks in American cities. And although the administration has attempted to pass off Laith Qazali’s release as a necessary compromise of American national interests for the purportedly greater good of Iraqi reconciliation, the camouflage is thin indeed. Transparently, the terrorist has been freed as a quid pro quo for the release of British hostages.

(.....)

In the wake of Laith Qazali’s release, the Asaib al-Haq network was unsatisfied; it continued to demand the release of its leader, Qais Qazali, and that of Daqduq. The terrorists did, however, release two of their British hostages, or, to be precise, their corpses: Jason Creswell of Glasgow and Jason Swindlehurst of Lancashire had been dead for weeks, perhaps longer, when their remains were turned over to the British embassy in Iraq. As the U.K.’s Independent recounted, the bodies had been “taken from an Iraqi government building in the centre of the Iraqi capital by men in police uniform, past army checkpoints and a second security screen into Sadr City, the base of Shia militias, all signs, say the men’s families, of official collusion.”

Pardon me, I'm feeling sick right now. We're not even getting back live people, we're just getting back their remains. And while I'm very, very sorry for the families of Jason Creswell and Jason Swindlehurst, this is like trading in a mint-condition '76 Mustang Fastback for a burned out Ford Pinto.

So here we are, with a deluded fucking moronic piece of shit for a President, who actually is as bad as the Right said he would be. Hey, remember when Sarah Palin gave that speech in Minneapolis, and said that Obama wanted to read terrorists their Miranda Rights? The Left guffawed and said it would never happen?

Ooops.

Yeah, how'd that turn out for you? Don't ever doubt Sarah Palin again, eh? Did that piss off all the Palin haters? Fucking good. So far she's been proven correct on just about everything she's said, while Obama has turned into a far-left idiotic piece of crap who really is the terrorist lovin', high-tax pushin', big government leadin' Socialist that the Right said he was. I think the only reason they're not pushing for a full-on gun ban right now is because the ATF is still shitting purple twinkies over the number of military-style rifles and carbines that went flying off the shelves, and are still selling like hotcakes.

Where was I? Oh, yes. Obama loves to deep-throat terrorist cock as they call him their bitch.

Back in May 2008, in a speech before the Israeli Knesset, President Bush derided the “foolish delusion” of unidentified, naïve politicians who “seem to believe we should negotiate with terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along.” Exhibiting a thin-skinned consciousness of guilt, Sen. Barack Obama assumed Bush had been referring to him, and lashed out: “George Bush knows that I have never supported engagement with terrorists.”

President Obama is now way beyond mere support of such engagement. Under his leadership, and even as the mullahs who have been at war with the United States for 30 years are engaged in a Tiananmen-style crackdown, Obama is neck-deep in terrorist-for-hostages negotiations with Iran-backed killers who have American blood on their hands.

Make sure you lick those terrorist balls clean, Mr. President! You don't want those terrorists to get upset with you! Mr. Fucking Jimmy Carter Clone. When more Americans die, we can lay those deaths directly on you. Not that Obama fucking cares, especially if they're military.

Gah. What a thing to read early in the morning.

frickinfrackinfutzingnutzin

I just spent half an hour futzing with the template. Almost had it to where I want it. And voila, one click of the mouse and it's all undone!

Bah. I need to shower and get out of the house. I have to report early this morning. Can't stick around to fix it. You'll just have to deal with the old blog template for a while.

One thing about Wisconsin

Is that you get the extremes when it comes to weather. You might not have extreme temperatures for very long, but they're noticeable when they hit. We just had a heatwave roll on through that put the heat index up around 96-97 degrees.

And we don't have air conditioning in the house.

So I came home from work last night and installed a ceiling fan in our bedroom. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Nice breeze. Lovely breeze. You make me so happy. You make the Ragin' Mrs. so happy too. We love you, wonderful cooling breeze.

If I thought it was feasible, I'd move our entire bedroom down to the basement for the summer.

Read it all

You want to know why the Left does what it does? Read this. All of it.

Before the 1994 Republican takeover, Democrats had sixty years of virtually unbroken power in Congress - with substantial majorities most of the time. Can a group of smart people, studying issue after issue for years on end, with virtually unlimited resources at their command, not come up with a single policy that works? Why are they chronically incapable?
Why?

One of two things must be true. Either the Democrats are unfathomable idiots, who ignorantly pursue ever more destructive policies despite decades of contrary evidence, or they understand the consequences of their actions and relentlessly carry on anyway because they somehow benefit.

I submit to you they understand the consequences. For many it is simply a practical matter of eliciting votes from a targeted constituency at taxpayer expense; we lose a little, they gain a lot, and the politician keeps his job. But for others, the goal is more malevolent - the failure is deliberate. Don't laugh. This method not only has its proponents, it has a name: the Cloward-Piven Strategy. It describes their agenda, tactics, and long-term strategy.

It puts things in a different light once you realize that the chaos, the failures, the ineptitude and the sheer arrogance of every last parasite in D.C. is there by design, rather than just accidental. The reason our economy is on the brink of failure is because Congress wants it to be there. The reason we're trillions in debt is because Congress wants us to be trillions of dollars in debt. The reason our government is taking more and more control over American's lives, turning citizens into subjects, is because CONGRESS WANTS SUBJECTS AND NOT CITIZENS.

The more I see, the more I'm convinced that nothing short of a civil war will return this country back to it's Constitutional roots. And that scares the hell out of me.

I done been thinkin....

That I might try to change the look of the place up a bit. Maybe.

Now keep in mind that I'm computer illiterate. I'm being quite honest here - I can type, but that's about it. Don't ask me how this magical little box works, because I don't know. And in order to change the template, I'll be going into something that I have little to no knowledge about, and then messing it up.

So if the website completely disappears, don't worry. That's just me, doing what I do. It'll get back up.

Father's Day

I suppose I could write about five witty paragraphs describing my father. In fact, it would take five books to describe him, everything he's done in his life and everyone he's effected.

But I don't want to go into that. Maybe later, not now. So all I'm going to say is this - If I could be half the man my father is, I would consider my life well lived.
