Democrat Party Members

Truly are traitors.

Here is a running list of the infomation discovered by Colombian investigators on the FARC terror leader's computers:

-- FARC connections with Ecuadorean president Rafael Correa
-- Records of $300 million offerings from Hugo Chavez
-- Thank you notes from Hugo Chavez dating back to 1992
-- Uranium purchasing records
-- Admit to killing the sister of former President Cesar Gaviria
-- Admit to planting a 2003 car bomb killing 36 at a Bogota upper crust club
-- Directions on how to make a Dirty Bomb
-- Information that led to the discovery of 60 pounds of uranium
-- Letter to Libya's Moammar Gadhafi asking for cash to buy surface-to-air missiles
-- Meetings with "gringos" about Barack Obama
-- Information on Russian illegal arms dealer Viktor Bout who was later captured
-- FARC funding Correa's campaign
-- Cuban links to FARC
-- Links to US Democrats
-- $480,000 of FARC cash in Costa Rican safe house
-- $100,000 to President Correa's campaign for election
-- Chavez attempts to buy arms for FARC through the Belarus regime
-- FARC branches in 17 countries including Germany and Switzerland
-- FARC terrorists expanded operations to 17 countries
-- FARC terrorists expanded operations to Germany and Switzerland

The news today confirmed all of the above information.

The fact that any US citizens were in cahoots with FARC should mean that those citizens would be tarred and feathered. The fact that Democrat American Communist Party members were in cahoots with FARC should mean that those traitors get expelled from the country. But since they are Democrat American Communist Party members, that means that they get a free pass from their political masters and from the MSM, otherwise known as the Democrat American Communist Party whores and propaganda organ.

I'm wondering when the shooting is going to start in this country. There can only be so much that true Americans can take.

Just a side note

I currently have The Very Best of Ray Charles turned up to "pissing of the neighbors" volume. And yes, I'm grooving to it.

You know what the sad part is? I mentioned this CD to a kid at Ft. Jackson, and he asked "Ray who?" I almost choked him to death.

Kee-riste, the kids these days don't even know where their music COMES FROM! I had the same problem in Ft. Lee, when one of the "kids" there was from Harlem. So I turned to her and said "Ah, so you know where Duke Ellington played?"

She said "Duke who?"

HOW THE FUCK DO YOU GROW UP IN HARLEM AND NOT KNOW WHO THE HELL DUKE ELLINGTON IS?????? Luckily, there was a Sergeant First Class standing there with me who turned to me, shook his head and said "They don't know, Dave. They just don't know." So I didn't feel so old. But still, DAMN! We're talking HARLEM! If there's one musician who's tied to Harlem, it's Duke Ellington! But this kid was as ignorant as a baby.

And if you like jazz, you have GOT to find recordings of Duke Ellington in Harlem. He played with just about anyone who was anyone there. Unless we remember where we came from, we won't know where the hell we're going. Every rock musician these days has his roots in the like of Ray Charles, Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra, Chuck Berry, Benny Goodman, and all those people who pushed the boundaries decades ago. And the kids today walk around thinking everything was just the way it is. And if you don't have a Ray Charles CD, check out THIS one. It's damn good.

I worry about my future sometimes.

Judicial Activism

At it's worst. The California Supreme Court has just overturned a ban on gay marriage. I'm not going to get into it too deep, because I'm still at the "throwing things around" stage. But I hope this might be Step One into getting the worthless gummint out of the marriage business altogether.

For anyone who wants to stop by and scream "GAY MARRIAGE IS JUST LIKE ANY OTHER MARRIAGE!", I have only this to say:

I want to see any gay couple beget a child. On their own. Without ANY HELP FROM ANYONE ELSE.

Can't do it? Then don't claim that you're just like everyone else.

I'm not saying that you cannot love like anyone else. I'm not saying that you cannot feel the same things anyone else can. But marriage, as an institution, is honored for the simple reason that a stable household can produce the future of the nation. Hell, a gay household cannot produce the unbalanced future of the nation!

There ARE differences, whether people want to acknowledge them or not. Mrs. du Toit has gone over this plenty of times, from all sorts of angles. The bottom line is this: If homosexuals wanted all the legal rights that married people have, they could have them. In California, they already do. What they want, however, is the moral equivalence that a legal marriage brings. The problem with that is legal does not equal moral. Now, if you're the kind of person who's moral code says gay marriage is fine, then you have no problem. The problem arises when people who's moral code says that gay marriage is wrong are told "FUCK YOU! I'M MORAL AND LEGAL! YOU MUST ACCEPT ME!"

That's the wrong answer, folks. You don't want the moral folks intruding onto your bedroom, you can't tell them that they have to accept anything you do. Live and let live, and all that.

Got an email

That refers to my post about the oil companies and what their responsibilities are. The emailer states that "more than 40 percent of oil and natural gas company shares are owned by mutual funds, 401(k) plans and pension funds".

Well, take a gander at this page, especially the handy-dandy chart they've got.

Mutual Funds and other firms: 29.5%
Pension Funds: 27%
IRA's: 14%
Private Investors (i..e people who bought stock on their own): 23%

Lessee, if I did my math right, that's 93.5%, correct? The other 6.5% is owned by other institutional investers and corporate insiders. So, if the gummint decides that it's going to tax the hell out of the oil companies, just who do you think will get hurt the most?

Got any mutual funds of your own?

What's that old cliche.....

.....about a guilty conscience?

WASHINGTON - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama accused President Bush on Thursday of launching a "false political attack" with a comment about appeasing dictators.

Well Barak, if the shoe fits, wear it. What exactly did President Bush say?

In a speech to Israel's Knesset, Bush said: "Some seem to believe that we should negotiate with the terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along.

"We have heard this foolish delusion before. As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: 'Lord, if I could only have talked to Hitler, all this might have been avoided.' We have an obligation to call this what it is — the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history."

Since Obama has repeatedly stated that he would meet with the leaders of terrorist supporting countries, and has advisors who meet with terrorist supporting dictators, I'd say that old Barry should actually take President Bush's speech to heart. Of course, we all know that he won't. He's a Democrat American Communist Party member, after all. Surrender and appeasment are all they know.

UPDATE: In the I Wish I'd Written That category:

The Israelis aren’t stupid. You don’t live to be 60 and face what they’ve had to face from the minute of their birth without a keen sense of who their friends are. And when the Israelis see their mortal enemy Hamas embracing Obama’s candidacy, they might be wondering who this fellow is and just what does he have in store for Israel if he gets elected.

Gee, ya think? More to the point, if the Israelis see that they're about to be sold down the river by America, they're going to do whatever they have to do in order to make sure they survive. And if that means nuking Iran, they'll do it. The one and only thing holding back much of the Middle East from attacking Israel is the knowledge that if they attack, the USA will be there to beat them back. What happens if that threat, real or perceived, is gone?

World War Three.

As Kevin Baker would say,

Do it again, only HARDER!

Now keep in mind, I’m only looking at weapons charges. The rap sheets of these scumbags total twenty six pages, and contains all manner of things that should have kept them off the streets for good. I think it’s time we had a serious discussion here in Pennsylvania about how absolutely and utterly broken the City of Philadelphia’s criminal justice system is, and talk frankly about things we can do to fix it. Gun control obviously is not a solution, since the system is currently not using the laws already in the books in prosecutions. The Philadelphia media must not continue to give the politicians a free pass on deflecting blame onto others, and shame on them that it takes bloggers to bring the criminals records of these scumbags into the public light. The citizens of Philadelphia and Pennsylvania deserve better, and they aren’t getting it from either their political leaders, or from the media.

I don't expect the city of Philadelphia to do a damn thing except more useless, empty gestures. Because that's all they did in the first place. There really are two Americas, and one of them is batshit crazy.

Outstanding

THIS is what supporting troops looks like.

Oldie but a Goodie

Via BabyTrollBlog:

"We, the sensible people of the United States, in an attempt to help everyone get along, restore some semblance of justice, avoid any more riots, keep our nation safe, promote positive behavior, and secure the blessings of debt-free liberty to ourselves and our great-great-great-grandchildren, hereby try one more time to ordain and establish some common sense guidelines for the terminally whiny, guilt-ridden, deluded, and other liberal bed-wetters. We hold these truths to be self-evident: that a whole lot of people are confused by the Bill of Rights and are so dim that they require a Bill of No Rights."

ARTICLE I
You do not have the right to a new car, big screen TV or any other form of wealth. More power to you if you can legally acquire them, but no one is guaranteeing anything.

ARTICLE II
You do not have the right to never be offended. This country is based on freedom, and that means freedom for everyone -- not just you! You may leave the room, change the channel, or express a different opinion, but the world is full of idiots, and probably always will be.

ARTICLE III:
You do not have the right to be free from harm. If you stick a screwdriver in your eye, learn to be more careful, do not expect the tool manufacturer to make you and all your relatives independently wealthy.

ARTICLE IV:
You do not have the right to free food and housing. Americans are the most charitable people to be found, and will gladly help anyone in need, but we are quickly growing weary of subsidizing generation after generation of professional couch potatoes who achieve nothing more than the creation of another generation of professional couch potatoes.

ARTICLE V:
You do not have the right to free health care That would be nice, but from the looks of public housing, we're just not interested in public health care.

ARTICLE VI:
You do not have the right to physically harm other people. If you kidnap, rape, intentionally maim, or kill someone, don't be surprised if the rest of us want to see you fry in the electric chair.

ARTICLE VII:
You do not have the right to the possessions of others. If you rob, cheat or coerce away the goods or services of other citizens, don't be surprised if the rest of us get together and lock you away in a place where you still won't have the right to a big screen color TV or a life of leisure.

ARTICLE VIII:
You don't have the right to demand that our children risk their lives in foreign wars to soothe your aching conscience. We hate oppressive governments and won't lift a finger to stop you from going to fight if you'd like. However, we do not enjoy parenting the entire world and do not want to spend so much of our time battling each and every little tyrant with a military uniform and a funny hat.

ARTICLE IX:
You don't have the right to a job. Sure, all of us want all of you to have one, and will gladly help you along in hard times, but we expect you to take advantage of the opportunities of education and vocational training laid before you to make yourself useful.

ARTICLE X:
You do not have the right to happiness. Being an American means that you have the right to pursue happiness — which, by the way, is a lot easier if you are unencumbered by an overabundance of idiotic laws created by those of you who were confused by the Bill of Rights.

If you agree, we strongly urge you to forward this to as many people as you can. No, you don't have to, and nothing tragic will befall you should you not forward it. We just think it is about time common sense is allowed to flourish -- call it the age of reason revisited.

Here's my plan

Because the corrupt junta running Burma (or Myanmar, if you want to listen to said junta) cannot help it's citizens, and is refusing aid from other parts of the world.

RANGOON, Burma — Rainwater was the only source of clean drinking water for some of Burma's cyclone victims Tuesday as the U.N. said only a tiny portion of international aid was reaching the region.

The country's military regime, which has renamed the country Myanmar, has been accused of hoarding high-quality foreign aid for itself while people make do with rotten food.

Here's what you do - you package food and water into bundles labeled "This aid is from (fill in the country that's sending it). You then air-drop those bundles all over Burma. And I mean ALL OVER. Scatter 100,000 packages of food and water over the countryside, there's no way the government can collect it all before it gets into the hands of the poor bastards who need it.

Drop in a few guns as well, so the next time some government thug tries to take food and water away from someone, that thug gets shot. I wonder if we have something like the "Liberator" pistols of WWII...... Maybe we could design and make one?

UPDATE: Seems like other people have had the same idea. But plenty of folks out there give good reasons not to do it.

From the comments at The Bitch Girls:

Burma has a small air force, with modern-enough jet fighters. And while their pilots can’t possibly be any good by the standards of a real air force, and most of their jets are outdated, I’m sure they could shoot down some unarmed transports with great ease.

So, either transports get shot down or it’s a real shootin’ war in the skies - we can’t just send in transports alone, if they’re serious, and I see no reason to think that SLORC isn’t.

And from The Belmont Club:

And the third assumption is that invasion doesn't mean killing people. That all "we" have to do is show up and the Burmese generals, who care nothing for human life, will suddenly give way before the 'moral authority' of the invaders, just because it's a good cause. Never mind that the history of war shows that invasion almost always implies an exceedingly violent series of acts. Nope. When "we" show up the Burmese are just going to roll over, get up and fetch.

Now in all probability if the "good old U.S. military" actually does invade Burma it will incinerate every vestige of armed opposition in its path. Burmese Army units will stand about as much chance as ants before a kid's homemade flamethrower. And then all of a sudden the assumptions will collapse in reverse order. People are going to say, 'we didn't realize invasions meant killing people'; 'we didn't realize we wouldn't have allies'; and finally 'we did not think it would be so expensive'. And then we will hear that classic line: "I was for it before I was against it."

It's the same reason we don't go into Darfur and stop the genocide happening there: Because if US troops were to actually SHOOT SOMEBODY while stopping a sadistic, power-hungry governmental thug bent on rape and murder, the idiot Leftists would be howling and shrieking about "Imperialism", "war-mongering", and every other epithet hurled at the military during the war in Iraq and Afghanistan.

It's a no-win situation.

AP: Military Hits Recruiting Goals Despite ‘Slow Economy,’ and ‘Unpopular War’

Warner Todd Huston at Stop The ACLU:
Don’t you just love the MSM? They can’t even report good news without interjecting their doom and gloom, agenda driven verbiage into any report.
...
After giving us the details that the Marines surpassed their recruiting goals the AP had to remind us that U.S. forces were “stretched thin by the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan” and that those joining the service are doing so because — and here is that old canard again — “other job possibilities” are limited for them.
...
...how many times do we have to prove the they-can’t-get-a-job claim made against our recruits is not true?
The old "Stupid Troops" BigLie piled up upon the "Failure to make recruiting goals" Big Lie...

On taxing "Big Oil"

Sure, sure, sure, let's all give the damn gummint some extra money by raising taxes on oil corporations. Sounds all great and nifty, right? Hillary Clinton says it has to be done!

Just who the hell do these people thing end up paying those taxes, anyways?

Oil companies, just like any other companies, have an obligation to one group, and one group only: Their shareholders. And that obligation is to make a profit. Period. Everything that a business does, from research to employing people to producing a product is simply actions directed at meeting that one obligation.

So, the gummint comes up and says "Even though we make more money off a gallon of gas than you do, you're STILL making too much money, so we're gonna tax you more!" And the gummint promptly slaps Oil Company X with a billion dollar tax bill. Well, the company has to pay it, because otherwise they'll be out of business and unable to fulfill their obligation, right? But now the company is in a hole. They're out a billion dollars. They can't grow money on a tree. They can't get the magic money fairies to give them more. So how can they raise a billion dollars?

By selling their product at a higher price, that's how. Which means that a gallon of gas, currently at $3.50, will now sell for $4.00.

If the Federal Government really wanted to drop the price of gas, it would eliminate the many taxes that have been added on to it. Federal. State. Local. When I lived in Seattle, and gas was around $1.50 a gallon, the state of Washington got $0.38 out of every dollar of gasoline sold.

That's a 38% tax rate, folks. The oil companies might make anywhere from 8% to 20% profit, depending on conditions and supply, but the Federal Government was taking 38% of every dollar!

But according to people like Hillary Clinton, that's too much. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. Ignorant bint.

Holy Moly

I have to admit, that with being in school at Ft. Jackson, not having much internet access (had to share four computers with over 100 students) and basically being busy as hell, I haven't had much time to check the news as of late. So when I sit down yesterday, plug in to the net and catch up on what I've missed, I'm a bit overwhelmed. But one thing sure sticks out -

Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama are so completely unfit to be President that it scares me. It scares me that they are the potential nominee for one half of the political side of this country.

What kind of special moron thinks there's 57 states in the Union? Hell, we can go over his "I'd meet with Iran! No, wait, no I wouldn't, and I never said that!" moment as well. The man is a hack, and idiot, and a liar. He espouses a political philosophy that has killed more people in the 20th century than any war the US has been involved in. And he's in the running to become our next president.

Hillary Clinton wants to punish "Big Oil" for making money. Obviously she's never taken a single economics class, nor has she looked at where the money from a gallon of gas goes. Not to mention that the ONLY reason she's even in politics is because she rode the coattails of her husband for years. And she's crazy as a shithouse rat.

The political platforms of both these people can only be described as "UnAmerican". Anti-gun? Yep. Anti-capitalism? Yep. Anti-free trade? Yep. More State control over everything? Yep.

And one of these people is going to be the nominee for half the country. As much as I hate John McCain, compared to Clinton and Obama he comes out looking like a saint. I swear, this country has a gun in it's hand, but the gun isn't pointed at anyone else. It's pressed firmly against our own head, and our finger is on the trigger. At this point, the only good thing I can say about the election is that when it rolls around, I should be back in the States where I might be able to actually DO something about the impending doom.

Blah. I have to head to work. I'll see you all later today.

Writer Stephen King smears the troops

Noel Sheppard of Newsbusters reports : Writer Stephen King: If You Can't Read, You'll End Up in the Army or Iraq
Remember shortly before Election Day 2006 when Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) suggested that if you don't get a good education, "you get stuck in Iraq" (video available here)?

Well, last month, famed horror author Stephen King was speaking in front of a group of high school students at the Library of Congress, and he virtually made the exact same statement.
Yeah... we remember
The fact is that the average serviceman, and service woman, is above average.
While the average LibRule (D)emocrat hates free speech...
Horror Author Tells Fans to Email NB, Shuts Down Discussion of Anti-military Remarks
The saga of horror novelist Stephen King's disgraceful comments about America's military took an interesting turn Monday when shortly after instructing visitors to his website to send me a message stating "Hi, Noel—Stephen King says to shut up and I agree," his own message boards were shut down.

If you buy Stephen King's paper-backs used, he doesn't get any money... just sayin'

They support the troops by attacking their families

VIDEO-- Edinboro Peace Thugs Boot & Pummel Military Wife!!

The video shows that every physical action was initiated by the peace thugs.
Every action that escalated the conflict was started by the peace thugs.
They were out of control and unrestrained in their actions.
Every physical action taken by the veteran and his family was in self defense or in seeking to stop the violence.

Carrie Swartout suffered a concussion from the kick to the head.
So... why weren't they arrested and charged?

Catching my breath

It's been a hectic two weeks. But I'm one week away from graduation, and I'll be out of here soon. Thanks to DANE for keeping the place alive. Dane, I owe you a beer or two (dozen) if we ever meet up. You'll know when I've returned home, because I'll be posting on a regular basis again.

In the meantime, here's my quote of the day:

"We in Denmark cannot figure out why you are even bothering to hold an election.

On one side, you have a bitch who is a lawyer, married to a lawyer, and a lawyer who is married to a bitch who is a lawyer.

On the other side, you have a true war hero married to a woman with a huge chest who owns a beer distributorship.

Is there a contest here?"
Damn good question, innit? Quote found at RNS.

Red China's massive military buildup

Satellite pictures... by DAVID GARDNER
Photographs emerged last night that appeared to confirm fears in Washington that China is building a giant underground nuclear submarine base on a tropical island.
...
The pictures, obtained by respected military magazine Jane's Intelligence Review, have raised concerns that the Chinese have carved out a secret base straight out of the plot of a James Bond thriller.

They show vast tunnel entrances that are thought to lead to huge caverns capable of hiding up to 20 nuclear submarines from spy satellites.

Sanya is a fast-developing holiday resort that has hosted the Miss World competition since 2003. It is on Hainan Island, which is about 160 miles from the coast of Vietnam.

Jane's Intelligence Review says the base has implications "for China's control of the South China Sea and the strategically vital straits in the area, and underlines Beijing's desire to assert tighter control over this region".
...
The secrecy around the build-up is likely to lead the U.S. to put more pressure on the Chinese to come clean with its plans and raises further questions about Beijing's relationship with the rest of the world in the run-up to the summer Olympics.
If it's all about "defense" then why the secrecy?

2 May 1982 ARA General Belgrano Sunk

Hugo Chavez of Venezuela should learn the lessons of the Argentine Junta...

But he won't...

Jimmy Carter(D) spent the duration of this conflict apologizing for the Argentines as well... what a surprise huh?

Even though Argentina started the war as a political diversion to hide the 'disappearance' of tens of thousands and in the face of British attempts to transfer the Falklands to Argentina without antagonizing the English voter.

The ARA General Belgrano was a WWII era American Cruiser, the U.S.S. Phoenix, that actually survived Pearl Harbor. It was 'glam' duty for Argentina's elite that resulted in:
Some 323 Argentine lives were lost out of a crew of 1,093 when the Belgrano was torpedoed by the British nuclear submarine, H.M.S. Conqueror on May 2, 1982.
The loss of life was a direct result of the Argentine naval destroyer escorts fleeing the scene. Rescue efforts were delayed 24 hours and a majority of the loss of life was due to exposure on the seas.

The fact is that the ship was a threat to the UK expeditionary naval forces that barely sufficient to liberate the Falklands from the Argentine invasion forces. It's sinking resulting in the Argentine navy staying close to their coastal bases for the duration of the war.

You won't be able to put this down... the first half is a very insightful review of the politics by Simon Jenkins, which is very interesting given this was so early in Reagan's ColdWar strategy, and the second half is a Max Hastings 'correspondent on the ground' view of the conflict itself.

Right Saddam?

Eyewitness account:
• HMS Conqueror was earlier in position to sink the Argentinian aircraft carrier Veinticinco de Mayo - a mission that could have shortened the war - but the British government refused permission to engage;

• The submarine tracked the Belgrano for a week, unsuccessfully seeking permission to fire on several occasions before they were finally given the go-ahead on May 2, 1982;

• The crew's initial euphoria at sinking the Belgrano turned to horror when it emerged Argentinian support ships had fled, leaving sailors to drown;

• The captain of HMS Conqueror, Commander Chris Wreford-Brown, led his crew in a service to pray for the enemy dead only hours after two of their torpedoes had ripped the Belgrano to pieces.

The punch-line for tin-horn third world tyrants... if you don't like losing... then don't start wars with the adults.

Compare and Contrast, If You Will...

Republican Congressman F. James Sensenbrenner co-sponsors a bill to pull the plug on the insanity of continuing to squander tax dollars on unchecked subsidies to the ethanol industry, which, after almost 27 years, still hasn't been able to turn a profit.

Meanwhile, a Governor wants:

A fast food tax to help NJ hospitals? Corzine open to idea

Guess how long and hard I had to look to find out Gov Jon Corzine's party affiliation? How many news articles I had to look at? I finally drummed it up on Wikpedia. Go on, guess what it is. Come on, it's an easy one....DEMOCRAT!

Progressives want taxes on gasoline to pay to fight global warming. Now one of them wants to tax fast food to bail out a failing health care system? Yes, lets use tax money to offset mismanagement!

Progressive Greenies don't want us to drill in the Gulf of Mexico because it could damage the ecosystem. Meanwhile, tons of nitrogen from fertilizer used on corn for ethanol production is being flushed into the Gulf of Mexico, actually damaging the ecosystem. According to the pukegressives, we shouldn't use coal, can't shouldn't use oil, and shouldn't use nuclear power. WTF is left?! Solar?! Wind?! Methane from landfills? {{snort}} Yeah, right. That'll keep our highly industrialized nation going strong, eh?

These nutjobs won't be satisfied to everyone (else) is sitting around in yurt wearing clothes handwoven from hemp, eating roots and berries gathered without the use of an internal combustion engine. This, apparently, is what passes for "Progress" in their world.

If we get too much more "Progressive," we'll have to reinvent fire. Well, no, actually, probably a bad idea. Too much carbon monoxide.

New DNC Ad Shows US Troops Being Blown Up

Howard Dean sent the following email to his mailing list yesterday which perpetuates the outright lie that McCain said we should be in Iraq 100 years...
In addition to the McCain clip, this nasty advertisement features a clip of ... American soldiers being killed by an IED.

Yes, that’s right. The Democratic Party is using images of US troops being attacked by terrorists to make political points against John McCain.
...
Even more unbelievably, the IED clip comes from Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 9/11. It’s at about 1:35 in this trailer: Fahrenheit 9/11 trailers.
...
...this ad is beyond the pale; the entire ad is based on “a rank falsehood,” according to FactCheck.org...
Allahpundit
The obligatory “DNC ad runs footage of soldiers being bombed in Iraq” post
What’s offensive isn’t the footage, it’s the left’s insane hypocrisy in wetting its pants over a one-second image of Osama Bin Laden in Hillary’s attack ad while shrugging off stuff like this as simple yet powerful doses of reality to awaken a complacent public. If McCain went the route Ace suggests and inserted images of 9/11 jumpers in one of his ads, Arianna Huffington would need smelling salts and Olbermann would have to allot an extra hour for “Countdown” to accommodate his rage. Meanwhile, the DNC could show a Marine getting his head blown off and Chris Matthews would ask the Hardball panel, “Doesn’t America need to see this?”

"We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don't want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population"
Which reminded me of SNOBabama's "fathers":
"Reverend" Al Sharpton
"Reverend" James Meeks
"Reverend" Jeremiah Wright
"Reverend" Otis Moss III
"Minister" Louis Farrakhan
"Pastor" Michael Pfleger
"Reverend" James Bevel
"Reverend" Eric Lee
"Pastor" Mack King
"Mentor" Frank Davis
How useful they are...

And yes... Al Sharpton marched in a "Kill The Police" rally today with toadies wearing KKK robes. Let's hope no one dies after one of Al Sharpton's hate-fests... again.

"He’s looking less like Kennedy, and more like Steve Urkel." -- Don Surber

Actually... my thoughts on Barack Hussein Obama are much harsher. How is it that a Marxist Hawaiian is a "Post-Racial" candidate? Isn't that a racist statement? And this from a man who sat in Jeremiah Wright's "church"?

1) I objected to "Reverend" Jeremiah Wright's Stalinist Marxism
2) I objected to "Reverend" Jeremiah Wright's Racist lies
3) I objected to "Reverend" Jeremiah Wright's mentally ill conspiracy theories
4) I objected to "Reverend" Jeremiah Wright's anti-Semitism
5) I objected to "Reverend" Jeremiah Wright's Anti-Americanism

And when Jeremiah Wright moved into a gated "White" community I discovered the degree of his hypocritical blaxploitation.

And yes... both Jeremiah Wright & Barack Hussein Obama are "ex-Muslims".

So when Barack Hussein Obama reacted to our discovery of his Reverend/Hater by lecturing us on "race", as if we are collectively guilty, that not only set me off, but it failed to answer the majority of my objections.

Based on what we are learning, in spite of Barack Hussein Obama's MainStreamMedia enabled evasiveness, it appears he was raised in a manner that made choosing Black-supremacist Marxism appealing and comfortable and consistent with what he clearly embraced at Jeremiah Wright's "church". For Jeremiah Wright & Barack Hussein Obama clearly share a "Black Value System".

25 April 1976, Rick Monday saves the flag

Rick Monday saves the flag
What these two ding-a-lings who had just dashed onto the field of Dodger Stadium were all about nobody knew, but here they were, and where was security?
...
Once they reached shallow left-center, they stopped and brought out the object. Monday could see now what it was: the U.S. flag. He recalled that they laid it on the ground almost as if they were about to have a picnic. Then one of them dug into his pocket and brought out something shiny and metallic. "I figured having gone to college two and two is sometimes four," Monday said. "They were dousing it with lighter fluid."

Then they lit a match. Which flared momentarily and died.

By now, Monday was in full stride, running towards them. "To this day, I don't know what I was thinking," he said. "Except bowl them over." He was also thinking they were trying to commit a terrible act. "What they were doing was extremely wrong as far as I was concerned," said Monday, who served six years in the Marine Reserves.

He reached them about the time they got the second match lit and were about to torch the flag. "There's a picture that I think won a Pulitzer Prize and it showed me reaching down and grabbing the flag," he said. ... Monday got the flag and handed it to Doug Rau, a Dodgers pitcher. That was the last Monday saw of it until a month later. The Dodgers came to Wrigley Field and Al Campanis, a Dodgers executive, presented the flag to Monday. "It's displayed very proudly in my home," he said.

24 April 1915-1923, Armenian Genocide

“Who remembers the Armenians?" -- Adolph Hitler
The Islamofascists marched the Armenian Christians to Damascus... coincidence?
April 24th marks the commemoration of the Armenian Genocide by the Ottoman Empire between 1915 and 1923. More than 1.5 million Armenians died in this period.
Lest we forget, Andrew G. Bostom of American Thinker:

The Jihad Genocide of the Armenians
Dadrian’s scholarship is characterized by a unique combination of painstaking, tireless research in the face of unseemly and well financed resistance, brilliant innovation (for example, his use of Austrian and German diplomatic sources free of either Armenian or Turkish biases), and, most remarkable of all in this era, an intellectual honesty oblivious to political correctness.

Regarding this latter point, specifically, Dadrian has always been unafraid to identify the uniquely Islamic institution of jihad as a critical etiologic factor in the Armenian genocide. Indeed, the most revealing interlude of that April 2nd evening, for me, was his blunt recapitulation of a massacre as depicted in Reverend K. Balakian’s eyewitness narrative Hai Koghota (The Armenian Golgotha)—the major literary work [1] affecting Dadrian’s decision to study the genocide. In a 2003 essay collection [2], Dadrian recounted the harrowing details of this particular slaughter, its Islamic religious motifs unexpurgated. Six thousand four hundred Armenian children, young girls, and women from Yozgad, were decamped by their Turkish captors at a promontory some distance from the city. Then,
To save shell and powder, the gendarmerie commander in charge of this large convoy had gathered 10,000-12,000 Turkish peasants and other villagers, and armed with “hatchets, meat cleavers, saddler’s knives, cudgels, axes, pickaxes, shovels”, the latter attacked and for some 4-5 hours mercilessly butchered the victims while crying “Oh God, Oh God” (Allah, Allah). In a moment of rare candor, this gendarmerie commander confided to the priest-author, whom he did not expect to survive the mass murder, that after each massacre episode, he spread his little prayer rug and performed the namaz, the ritual of worship, centered on prayer, with a great sense of redemption in the service of Almighty God.
Amassed painstakingly by Dadrian, the primary source evidence from these German and Austro-Hungarian officials- reluctant witnesses- leads to this inescapable conclusion: the anti-Armenian measures, despite a multitude of attempts at cover-up and outright denial, were meticulously planned by the Ottoman authorities, and were designed to destroy wholesale, the victim population.
Just to be specific... the motivation for the Genocide:
The renowned Ottomanist, Roderick Davison, has observed that under the Shari'a (Islamic Holy Law) the “..infidel gavours [“dhimmis”, “rayas”]" were permanently relegated to a status of "inferiority" and subjected to a “contemptuous half-toleration”. Davison further maintained that this contempt emanated from “an innate attitude of superiority”, and was driven by an “innate Muslim feeling”, prone to paroxysms of “open fanaticism”.
...
Committee of Union and Progress, Sheik Abd-ul-Hack, a “progressive” Young Turk, made this revealing declaration writing in a Parisian Muslim review, (Le Mecherouttiete, edited by Sherif Pasha, Paris), in August, 1912:
Yes! The Musulman religion is in open hostility to all your world of progress. Understand, you European observers, that a Christian, whatever his position may be, by the mere fact of his being a Christian is regarded by us as a blind man lost to all sense of human dignity. Our reasoning with regard to him is as simple as it is definitive. We say: the man whose judgment is so perverted as to deny the existence of a one and only God, and to make up gods of different sorts, can only be the meanest expression of human degradation; to speak to him would be a humiliation for our intelligence and an insult to the grandeur of the Master of the Universe. The presence of such miscreants among us is the bane of our existence; their doctrine is a direct insult to the purity of our faith; contact with them is a defilement of our bodies; any relation with them a torture to our souls. Though detesting you, we have condescended to study your political institutions and your military organization. Over and above the new weapons that Providence procures for us through your agency, you have yourselves rekindled, the inextinguishable faith of our heroic martyrs. Our Young Turks, our Babis, our new Brotherhoods, all our sects, under various forms, are inspired by the same idea; the same necessity of moving forward. Towards what end? Christian civilization? Never! Islam is the one great international family. All true believers are brothers. A community of feeling and of faith binds them in mutual affection. It is for the Caliph to facilitate these relations and to rally the Faithful under the sacerdotal
standard.
During the reign of Sultan Abdul Hamid, the Ottoman Turks massacred over 200,000 Armenians between 1894-96. This was followed, under the Young Turk regime, by the Adana massacres of 25,000 Armenians in 1909, and the first formal genocide of the 20th century, when in 1915 alone, an additional 600,000 to 800,000 Armenians were slaughtered. [26] The massacres of the 1890s had an “organic” connection to the Adana massacres of 1909, and more importantly, the events of 1915. As Dadrian argues, they facilitated the genocidal acts of 1915 by providing the Young Turks with “a predictable impunity.” The absence of adverse consequences for the Abdul Hamid massacres in the 1890s allowed the Young Turks to move forward without constraint.
...
Contemporary accounts from European diplomats make clear that these brutal massacres were perpetrated in the context of a formal jihad against the Armenians who had attempted to throw off the yoke of dhimmitude by seeking equal rights and autonomy.
...
Yet ninety years after the events of April 24, 1915, the Turkish government persists in its denials of the Armenian genocide, abetted by a well-endowed network of unsavory political and pseudo-academic sycophants operating with the imprimatur of morphing geostrategic rationales—formerly, “Turkey as a bulwark against Communism”, and now, “Turkey as a bulwark against radical Islam”.
A book to buy:
Professor Deborah Lipstadt, the renowned Holocaust scholar, and author of Denying the Holocaust, and History on Trial (which recounts her crushing defeat of Nazi-sympathizer David Irving’s “libel” suit), in conjunction with twelve other leading genocide scholars, elucidated the corrosive immorality of genocide denial in this 1996 statement:
Denial of genocide—whether that of the Turks against the Armenians or the Nazis against the Jews—is not an act of historical reinterpretation. Rather, it sows confusion by appearing to be engaged in a genuine scholarly effort. Those who deny genocide always dismiss the abundance of documents and testimony as contrived or coerced, or as forgeries and falsehoods. Free speech does not guarantee the deniers the right to be treated as the “other” side of a legitimate debate when there is no credible “other side”; nor does it guarantee the deniers space in the classroom or curriculum, or in any other forum. Genocide denial is an insidious form of intellectual and moral degradation…
Dr. Bostom is an Associate Professor of Medicine and author of the forthcoming, The Legacy of Jihad on Prometheus Books

Remember that Lebanon was carved from Syria to be a "Christian Enclave" to protect them from the Muslims. Now 200,000 Christians are dead... and we see what would happen if Israel, the Jewish enclave, didn't defend itself.

Ayman al-Zawahri calls out Iranian 'Truthers

Yes, it's come to this. al-Qaida's No. 2 leader Ayman al-Zawahri makes more sense then many Americans or Europeans.
Osama bin Laden's chief deputy on Tuesday denied a theory that Israel carried out the Sept. 11 attacks and blamed Iran and Shiite Hezbollah for spreading the idea to discredit the Sunni al-Qaida's strike against the U.S.
Ayman al-Zawahri also fingers Iranian involvement in Iraq:
"Iran's aim here is also clear — to cover up its involvement with America in invading the homes of Muslims in Afghanistan and Iraq," he said.

He's got a point

Mormon polygamy? Bad! Bad bad juju!

Muslim polygamy? Eh, not so much.

Once again, if we could get the gummint out of the business of dealing with marriages, this would be a non-issue. Personally, I can think of worse places for a kid to grow up than in a polygamous marriage. That doesn't mean I think it's the bee's knees, so let's get THAT thought out of your head right now. But there are worse options. In fact, I would go so far as to say that I would prefer a child to be raised in a polygamous family than by a single parent in many cases.

But enough of my tangent. Classical Values has the right point - we see condemnation of polygamy when it's done by anyone but muslims. Yet when faced with the prospect of muslim polygamy in this country........

Gun rights at the Democratic Debates

So last night, out of some strange illness, I decided to watch the Democratic Debates. I think the only reason that Clinton is better at pandering than Obama is because she has more experience. But, I digress. The question of the 2nd Amendment and the DC Gun ban came up. With Clinton her basic answer was to not interfere. She believes that the 2nd Amendment is of consequence, but that local areas should be able to restrict it to "what works for them".

Isn't that nice....

Obama tried to give the same answer, but he fell short. I have no doubt in my mind that that man would strip this country of guns faster than you can say Pinocchio. Then again, I have no doubt that it would not take long for him to commit treason if elected.

This all really sickens me. It is wrong and most people know it. Unfortunately, as has been stated before, idiots are allowed to vote in the same election as smart people.

I guess we just have to wait for the Supreme Court to make up their minds....

And I'm supposed to respect this religion because WHY?

Eight-Year-Old Girl Divorces Husband From Arranged Marriage

An eight-year-old Yemeni girl was granted a divorce from an arranged marriage she was forced into in just the second grade.

Nojud Mohammed Ali said she was forced to marry under an agreement reached between her unemployed father and 28-year-old former husband, Faez Ali Thameur, earlier this year, AFP reported.

Thameur told a judge that he married Nojud with her consent and her parents', and that the marriage "was consummated, but I did not beat her."
A FATHER marries off his eight year old daughter. Yeah, that's love.

And a 28-year old man has sex with an eight year old girl. In THIS country we have a name for guys like that:

"Targets."

Despite all their lofty yet caustic rhetoric about how they are the Master Race, and we're all just infidels, and Islam is so holy white and pure, Islamic societies around the world allow, condone, permit, promote and protect by law this kind of stuff all the time. Not to mention the honor killings if your daughter is raped. Usually raped by Muslim men, I might add. Although, it's not technically rape, since women are chattel and property, and so it's not so much rape as it is using a tool for its intended purpose, right?

I read all about this stuff, the beheadings and the stonings and "honor" killings and pedophile marriages, and you know, it just really doesn't feel like I'M the infidel here.

And these are the people the world is so all in a tizzy that we don't offend. Uh, yeah. Me, I'm thinking that offending these neanderthals ought to be amended to the Consitution as not only an inaliendable right, but as a moral obligation. And of course, by "offend" I mean, "not be afraid to tell the truth about what they really believe and practice."

Obama's newest Quip

appearantly Obama now thinks that everyone that lives in the rural areas is economically disadvantaged, bitter, racists which causes them to cling to God and their firearms.

HMMMMM

" You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothings replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not.
And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

Even Clinton and McCain are using this as ammunition. Does that make them bitter people clinging to their guns.

Male Castration = Good; Guns = Bad

The FemiNazis have no sense of humor:
The punchline to any joke about feminists … [Darleen Click]
A satirical response to a feminist publication at Colorado College has landed the college and two of its students in the middle of a fierce debate over freedom of speech.Chris Robinson and another student at the Colorado Springs institution decided to print “The Monthly Bag” after seeing copies of a feminist and gender studies newsletter, “The Monthly Rag,” in restrooms around campus.

The edition of “The Monthly Rag” that prompted action included an announcement for a talk on feminist pornography, information on gender-bending practices, and a tidbit about a myth involving male castration. According to Robinson, it was representative of what appears every month.

In response, Robinson and a friend created their flier, which provided tips on chainsaw etiquette, detailed a sexual position from Men’s Health magazine and provided trivia about a sniper rifle — what Robinson called information for the stereotypical macho man.Staff members removed The Bag within hours of receiving complaints that the publication was threatening.
Imagine the outrage if the parody was called "The Monthly Rag".

FemiNazis have neither a sense of humor or sense of irony.

Cassy Fiano has more:
Male Castration = Good; Guns = Bad
Academia shows how tolerant it is of opposing viewpoints (read: NOT LIBERAL) yet again, this time at Colorado College. For liberals, when you spout idiotic drivel that falls in line with liberal orthodoxy, it's OK. Anyone offended is supposed to just smile and take it. Lip service is given to "diversity" and "tolerance", but those values only go skin deep with libs. Diverse skin color and gender = good, diverse opinions = bad. And nowhere is this kind of attitude more prevalent than on college campuses.

Feminists especially love this kind of special treatment. They can say anything they want about men; they can slander them, smear them, and paint them all with a very nasty brush just for the "crime" of being men. Valentine's Day is cancelled in favor of "Victory over Violence" Day to somehow fight domestic abuse. Love between a man and a woman is bad; women must stick to the sisterhood! Consensual sex is likened to rape; flirting to sexual harassment. Man-hating has become synonymous with feminism, and the most radical of these harpies usually reside on college campuses. Men, meanwhile, are supposed to just grin and bear it. One joke about women is deemed sexual harassment and can get a male student kicked off campus. Double standard? Nope, it's just "fighting for women's rights".
The volume of mindless hate demonstrated by the FemiNazis does not make their point of view more valid but in fact far less so...

The (very large) quote of the day

But it's too good to let pass without posting it here. Found on Cold Fury is a comment from one Ric Locke. I'm pretty sure I've quoted Mr. Locke before, and reading this quote shows why.

And there you have it, sashal, the core. “Unjust war”.

It is a fundamental law of the Universe that if A = B, it follows absolutely that B = A.

Saddam Hussein and his followers were murderers, rapists, torturers, genocidists, and destroyers of Teh Sacred Environment. If it was unjust to remove them from power, if there is no moral justification for doing so, it follows that Saddam was perfectly within his rights, perfectly justified, in doing those things — and it follows from that that murder, rape, torture, genocide, and the rest are morally neutral, with no moral or ethical weight, to be used when the mood strikes.

Yes, I know you’re going to try to weasel out of that, because you’re confused in your own mind, but you cannot. You have accepted, and declared, an absolutist position: the war was and is unjust with no qualifiers; the war has absolutely no moral justification, full stop, end paragraph, end essay, close discussion. Stopping the poison-gassing of Kurds counts for nothing. Releasing ten thousand people whose mildest suffering at Abu Ghraib was splinters under the fingernails, exhuming bodies buried there so that their relatives and friends had to walk over them in a culture where showing the soles of one’s shoes is a deadly insult, is of zero weight. Not negligible weight, not insufficient weight, zero weight — their suffering and its release counts for nothing. They don’t count as “people” in your estimation; they don’t even count as animals, for whose maltreatment PETA might be willing to call people to account. They are nothing, nonentities, nonexistent. That’s what the absolutist “no moral justification” means. And you claim moral superiority for holding that position.

Furthermore: If A = B, and B = C, then A = C. If Saddam Hussein was perfectly moral, perfectly justified, in using torture at whim — which, despite weaseling and Jesuitry, is precisely what you are declaring — upon what rule of justice or equity do you base denying George Bush the same powers and privileges? Never mind any moral aspect of torture — you have already declared that gassing fifty thousand Kurds, destroying the habitat and livelihood of twice that many Marsh Arabs, flaying people alive, cutting off limbs and sex organs, and similar diversions are absolutely moral, because you declare that there is no moral justification to ending those practices. What you are declaring is that Saddam was superior to Bush in the same existential way that I and my fellows once declared that white people were superior to blacks. And again, you claim moral superiority by virtue of that declaration.

My reaction? F* you and the white horse you rode in on, with your Sword of Absolute Justice. I call you apologist, ally, and accessory to the worst, most offensive betrayers of moral and ethical standards on the planet, and thereby an adopter of their practices; just too finicky and elitist to get your own personal sacred hands dirty, so you appoint deputies to do it for you, and pretend it’s nothing to do with you.

Regards,
Ric

Bam.

How he really thinks

If you haven't seen the latest quote going 'round from Obama, well, wait no longer:

You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not.

And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

Got that? We're all just a bunch of knuckle-dragging simpletons to Obama and his ilk. There is so much wrong with that one statement that I can't put it all into words.

We cling to our guns because fuckwits like Obama would love nothing more than to impose his communist will on this country, and our guns are just one of the checks against that happening. We cling to our faith because we believe in God, and given what the government is trying to do on any given day we need that faith to remember that there IS some good in this world.

We're not anti-immigration, you ass-hatted shit nozzle, we're anti-ILLEGAL immigration, and the fact that you don't recognize that means you're not qualified to be elected to dog catcher, much less leader of the best country in the world.

What a complete and utter dipshit. And his half-assed apology can just be discarded. "Oh, I'm so sorry if I offended anyone." Bullshit, you worthless cock-goblin, you're just sorry that you got caught while you expressed your true opinion of anyone who doesn't sit around reading Marx and expressing their sympathy with "the people". Go piss up a rope, you moronic half-wit.

And by the way....

I didn't blog on the flap about Absolute Vodka, because Dane had done the heavy lifting. But I just thought I might toss out a little something for you:

Luksusowa Vodka.

Folks, vodka is supposed to be made with potatoes. You ever have some vodka and it had a bitter or nasty aftertaste? Yeah. That's GRAIN vodka you're drinking. Skyy, Absolute, Finlandia, even Grey Goose is made with grain.

Luksusowa is made with potatoes. No nasty aftertaste. You chill it right, and you don't even taste it. It's that damn good. And it's not too expensive, either.

So drink something good. If you're going to kill your liver, why not do it with the best stuff you can get?

Still busting my butt

It's been a busy week. Well, let me rephrase that, if I may. It's been a week filled with a whole lot of happy horseshit, which I'm forced to jump through hoops to accomplish. I know that the Army is good at inventing busywork, but this is getting more than a little silly.

But I warned you all weeks ago that my posting was going to be light. Short of going to a public WiFi spot like the coffee shop I'm currently sitting in, I don't have any internet. And I don't have a car, so I only go to the coffee shop when there's someone else who wants to go.

Meh. Four more weeks and I'll be back in Puerto Rico. And hopefully shortly after that, I'll be home for a couple of weeks.

Rockefeller(D) smears the troops

I guess they've been bombing the civilians like Jengis Khan?
Ed Morrissey : Rockefeller: Air Force doesn’t care about humanity
“McCain was a fighter pilot, who dropped laser-guided missiles from 35,000 feet. He was long gone when they hit. What happened when they [the missiles] get to the ground? He doesn’t know. You have to care about the lives of people. McCain never gets into those issues.”
... Rockefeller also sounds an awful lot like Barack Obama, who claimed that the entire strategy in Afghanistan consisted of “just air raiding villages and killing civilians”.
...
What was Rockefeller’s stance on Bill Clinton’s Bosnian intervention, which consisted solely of Air Force strikes?
McCain(D) flew missions prior to the development of laser guided weapons, and before you indulge his non-apology apology you might remember Rockefeller(D) for the leaked memos in which he described his intent to risk American lives, by abusing his authority in the Senate intelligence committee for partisan political gain.

The fact is the elitist prick will let Americans die even as he smears our servicemen as war-criminals.

General Petraeus

Peter Wehner
“We have our teeth in their jugular — and we need to keep them there.” -- General Petraeus on Al Qaeda

While Michael Ledeen warns: The Continuing Iran-American War
General Petraeus quickly and explicitly blamed Iran for the attacks. “The rockets that were launched at the Green Zone… were Iranian-provided, Iranian-made rockets…All of this in complete violation of promises made by President Ahmadinejad and the other most senior Iranian leaders to their Iraqi counterparts.”
...
Similar remarks about the nefarious Iranian role in Iraq came from Petraeus’ former deputy, General Raymond Odierno, just two weeks ago in Washington. He wryly observed that Iranian President Ahmadinejad felt secure in Baghdad because the attacks there were under Iranian guidance and control.

The Shi’ite militias and al Qaeda in are also closely tied to Iran. Many of the news reports wrongly suggest that the Shi’ite insurgents are under the leadership of Moqtadah al Sadr, the son of a murdered leading cleric and for several years the chieftain of the private Mahdi Army, named after the Shi’ite Messiah. He and his troops were famously armed, paid and trained by Iran, and were as feared as al Qaeda, whose late leader, Abu Musab Zarqawi, long operated out of Tehran and worked closely with Hezbollah’s late chief terrorist, Imad Mughniyah.
...
Iran, then, is the common denominator of recent events in Iraq: the mullahs organized the rocket attacks in Baghdad, they have supported al Qaeda in Iraq from the beginning, and they have a major role in the activities of the Shi’ite militias.
...
I think General Petraeus is trying to force the Bush Administration to recognize these hard facts and act accordingly. He is saying that we cannot accomplish our objectives in Iraq without challenging the regime in Tehran.

Iran ramps up production of enriched uranium they don't need for nuclear plants they doesn't have... and Barack Hussein Obama squeals appease:
"Because if Maliki can tolerate as normal neighbor-to-neighbor relations in Iraq, then we should be talking to them, as well. I do not believe we are going to be able to stabilize the position without them."

Now we know why Barack Che' Hussein Obama's "church" publishes articles by Iran's proxy-killers of Hamas.

The Official Car

Of the Democrat American Communist Party 2008 campaign!

Sent to me by Frankly Opinionated. Admit it, that's funny!

Idiots.

Idiots, morons, retards, buffoons, half-wits, and slack-jawed mouth-breathing fucktards.

Legislation against selling, making, hiring or importing samurai swords in England and Wales has come into force.

Those breaking the law face six months in jail and a £5,000 fine. Carrying a sword in public is already illegal.

Exemptions will cover swords which are used for re-enactments or antique weapons kept on display by collectors.

So the gun ban didn't do one thing to stop gun crime, and now they want to ban swords. What's next? A ban on paperclips and rubber bands?

Hey Britain: IT'S NOT GOING TO WORK! Try kicking the criminals ass once in a while instead of busting law abiding citizens who want to protect themselves!

Found at SondraK's place.

One Week Down

Every day I finish is one day closer to being with my wife again.

By the way, if you're looking for a good coffee shop with WiFi, CoolBeans coffee right next to the University of South Carolina is a nice little place. Watch out for the smoking section. Lots of weird people here on a Sunday.

Day-um!

Between Obama and Hillary, I don't know who I would enjoy taking aim at more during the election campaign. But this just adds a bit more fun to the mix!

Jerry Zeifman, a lifelong Democrat, supervised the work of 27-year-old Hillary Rodham on the committee. Hillary got a job working on the investigation at the behest of her former law professor, Burke Marshall, who was also Sen. Ted Kennedy’s chief counsel in the Chappaquiddick affair. When the investigation was over, Zeifman fired Hillary from the committee staff and refused to give her a letter of recommendation – one of only three people who earned that dubious distinction in Zeifman’s 17-year career.

Why?

“Because she was a liar,” Zeifman said in an interview last week. “She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.”

Well, we know from experience that Hillary has no problems breaking rules. The Clintons were probably the most unethical people to ever live in the White House. We've known that for over a decade. But I just love how the MSM is tearing itself apart trying to boost their particular communist of choice while attacking the other. Every time I see the political news, I want to pop up some popcorn and grab a beer.

Sex Ed in Schools

I keep hearing about sexual education in schools. Now, I'm not going to state my age on the web here, but I was born in *mumblemumble* and went to school in *coughmumble*, and I can't remember being taught to put a condom on a banana at all. Maybe they figured that we were smart enough to figure it out without any help.

Anyways, that being said, I really have to wonder just what the hell they're teaching in school these days.

BAYTOWN, Texas - A 14-year-old girl gave birth in a restroom at her junior high, and the baby boy cried once before she tried to flush him down the toilet, killing him, officials said Thursday.

An autopsy confirmed the baby was alive when born Wednesday at Cedar Bayou Junior High in Baytown, near Houston. The boy was probably full term and cried before the mother, an eighth-grader, tried to flush him, said police Lt. Eric Freed.

The mother was taken to a hospital. People who knew her at school said she wore baggy clothing, and nobody suspected she was pregnant, The Houston Chronicle reported Thursday.

This is so sad on so many levels that I don't know where to begin. A pregnate fourteen-year old? Sad. The fact that the girls friends and classmates didn't know she was pregnate? Sad.

But what is worse is the parents. Did they know she was pregnate? Did they know anything? Did they know what the hell their daughter was doing at school? What she did after school? How the hell did this girl go eight-plus months without anyone finding out? How the hell did she go eight-plus months without getting any help?

I would go on about how this is just another reason to keep your kids out of public schools, but from the sounds of things this girl's parents didn't give a shit one way or another. And that's the saddest part of all.

Mexico has no rights to 17th century Spanish empire claims they lost both on the battlefield in two wars of aggression and by agreeing to the Gadsden Purchase which settled the border dispute in 1854.

Yet this Ad appeared in Mexico City and is coming to a billboard in an illegal alien packed tax-payer subsidized ghetto near you.

Got an email today

And since I don't have much time to post anything, I'm just going to copy it. The subject line: What costs more than the Iraq War every year?

I hope the following 14 reasons are forwarded over and over again until they are read so many times that the reader gets sick of reading them. I have included the URL's for verification of the following facts:
1. $11 Billion to $22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens each year.
http://tinyurl.com/zob77

2. $2.2 Billion dollars a year is spent on food assistance programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches for illegal aliens.
http://www.cis.org/articles/2004/fiscalexec.html

3. $2.5 Billion dollars a year is spent on Medicaid for illegal aliens.
http://www.cis.org/articles/2004/fiscalexec.html

4. $12 Billion dollars a year is spent on primary and secondary school education for children here illegally and they cannot speak a word of English!
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.0.html

5. $17 Billion dollars a year is spent for education for the American-born children of illegal aliens, known as anchor babies.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

6. $3 Million Dollars a DAY is spent to incarcerate illegal aliens.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

7. 30% percent of all Federal Prison inmates are illegal aliens.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

8. $90 Billion Dollars a year is spent on illegal aliens for Welfare and Social Services by the American taxpayers.
http://premium.cnn.com/TRANSCIPTS/0610/29/ldt.01.html

9. $200 Billion Dollars a year in suppressed American wages are caused by the illegal aliens.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

10. The illegal aliens in the United States have a crime rate that's two-and-a-half times that of white non-illegal aliens. In particular, their children, are going to make a huge additional crime problem in the US.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0606/12/ldt.01.html

11. During the year of 2005 there were 4 to 10 MILLION illegal aliens that crossed our Southern Border also, as many as 19,500 illegal aliens from Terrorist Countries. Millions of pounds of drugs, cocaine, meth, ###### and marijuana, crossed into the U. S from the Southern border. Homeland Security Report.
http://tinyurl.com/t9sht

12. The National Policy Institute, 'estimated that the total cost of mass deportation would be between $206 and $230 billion or an average cost of between $41 and $46 billion annually over a five year period.' (pdf file)
http://www.nationalpolicyinstitute.org/pdf/deportation.pdf

13. In 2006 illegal aliens sent home $45 BILLION in remittances back to their countries of origin.
http://www.rense.com/general75/niht.htm

14. 'The Dark Side of Illegal Immigration: Nearly One Million Sex Crimes Committed by Illegal Immigrants In The United States '.
http://www.drdsk.com/articleshtml

Total cost is a whooping... $338.3 BILLION A YEAR!!!

Yet the Left wants to stop killing terrorist assholes, and let millions more illegal aliens into this country.

Oh, and by the way, yes I'm in class, yes I'm busy as hell, and yes I have limited time on the computer. And even less time with internet access. That's life in the Army. I'll post when I can. See ya when I see ya!

Media darling and Iranian puppet...

...Muqtada al Sadr got his ass kicked

Bill Roggio : Sadr orders followers to end fighting
Six days after the Iraqi government launched Operation Knights’ Charge in Basrah against the Mahdi Army and other Iranian-backed Shia terror groups, Muqtada al Sadr, the Leader of the Mahdi Army, has called for his fighters to lay down their weapons and cooperate with Iraqi security forces. Sadr’s call for an end to the fighting comes as his Mahdi Army has taken serious losses since the operation began. . . . Since the fighting began on Tuesday 358 Mahdi Army fighters were killed, 531 were wounded, 343 were captured, and 30 surrendered. The US and Iraqi security forces have killed 125 Mahdi Army fighters in Baghdad alone, while Iraqi security forces have killed 140 Mahdi fighters in Basra.

Ed Morrissey : Remind me again — who’s losing in Basra?
Did our media give anyone this context? No. They reported it as some kind of spontaneous eruption of rebellion without noting at all that a nation can hardly be considered sovereign while its own security forces cannot enter a large swath of its own territory. And in the usual defeatist tone, they reported that our mission in Iraq had failed without waiting to see what the outcome of the battle would be.
29Victor, comments at HotAir
The speed at which the MSM went from ignoring Iraq to proclaiming that we were loosing was actually pretty impressive. I did’t know they could move that fast any more. But when they had to back up their narrative of our loss with facts like “230 people have died in Iraq because of this latest battle” (not saying where those 230 people were or which side they were on) I knew that the good guys were winning.
Bill Roggio : In Pictures: Iranian munitions seized in Iraq
Iran established the Ramazan Corps in western Iran to manage the covert war inside Iraq in early 2003. The Ramazan Corps is an arm of Qods Force, the special operations branch of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps. The Ramazan Corps is responsible for smuggling weapons and cash into the Mahdi Army and the Special Groups terror cells, as well as recruiting and training Iraqi operatives.
Dean’s World : Sadr’s Triumphant Surrender
The media appear to be unanimous: by getting his butt kicked, surrendering control of Basra, and being mocked as an Iranian catspaw Sadr has… succeeded.
Yes, Muqtada al Sadr Just got back from sucking up to his masters in Iran.

Van Helsing Hosts 'Fitna'

Geert Wilders' Fitna (Video)!

Watch it... then...

Diana West : Pre-emptive rage
'''just the thought of "Fitna" has Europe in upheaval, cowering before widely anticipated Islamic outrage expected to range from diplomatic huff, to economic boycott, to rioting, even bloodshed, over this still unseen ten-minute film.

Such mass psychosis has erupted before — Satanic Verses Rage, Koran Rage, Cartoon Rage, Pope Rage, even Teddy Bear Rage. But never has an Islamic "rage" begun to build without actual cause. For the first time, we are seeing rage preparations and precautions before "offense" has been given or taken.

In other words, Pre-Emptive Rage is something new. It works like this: Because the Wilders film is expected to criticize Islam, Muslims who brook no religious criticism are expected to freak out. Therefore — just as if this were the most normal, everyday, ordinary state of affairs — Muslims and Europeans are making their respective arrangements.
...
...multiculti Europeans and perpetually aggrieved Muslims are finding common ground.
...
...as reported by Dutch blogger Klein Verzet, the grand mufti of Syria, Ahmad Badr Al-Din Hassoun, admonishes the European Parliament about potential film-related "riots, bloodshed and violence" for which "Wilders will be responsible." And thus Dutch Prime Minister Jan Balkenende says exactly the same thing.

Michelle Malkin : Fitna follow-up: The usual suspects do the usual thing; Update: Fitna pulled from Liveleak; “This is a sad day for freedom of speech on the net…”
Pulled from Liveleak...

LadyHawk : Fitna Fallout
It’s rare to hear them denouncing ongoing terrorism done in the name of Islam by jihadis, whether it is in Afghanistan, Thailand, Philippines, or Israel. Where are the calls for tolerance when the jihadis are busy blowing up schools, businesses, rioting, and otherwise seeking to kill non Muslims and those who are not strict adherents to their brand of Islam?

Robert Spencer : Iran: Fitna "heinous, blasphemous, and un-Islamic" -- and Eurodhimmis should ban it
Mind you, the European Union has never, ever said anything like that regarding attacks on Christianity. The point is not just the double standard; it is that they are allowing violent intimidation to succeed, and that will only lead to more violent intimidation.

Unsurprisingly : UN's Ban Ki-moon Calls for 'Fitna' to Be Censored
United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon comes out strongly against free expression.

Yet United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, or the UN, hasn't condemned suicide bombings targeting Jewish civilians, or even Al-Qaeda. They don't even have an official definition of "terrorist" yet they will enthusiastically condemn a film that features passages from the Quran, alongside the violent consequences clearly associated with that graphic advocacy... they will condemn a film that exposes the hate as "hate speech".

Will any Muslim "scholars" care to defend those passages? [birds chirping]

No one is suppressing pictures of Jesus with violence...
