Why Johnny can't Think
Way back in the Medieval times, when I was in high school, I commonly ran up against people who, in a debate, couldn't grasp basic facts. This apparently wasn't too uncommon for a few folks. If I were to posit that a tax on income resulted in people deliberately earning less in order to avoid said tax, I was told that I was an idiot, because nobody would do that.
Apparently, all of human nature doesn't count.
I used to wonder about why so many kids in my school couldn't put figurative two and two together. Now I know that was a deliberate action, by the Marxist left, to grow not a generation of citizens, but a generation of peasants who couldn't think on their own, and thus require the state to take care of them. My saving grace was having parents who taught me on their own time, who removed any and all TVs from the house, and who demanded that I read the masters, both modern and ancient.
Today's kids? Well, they're being taught by my classmates, most of whom are unfit to teach a boy how to take a piss in the woods.
When people say we can't vote our way out of this, they're right. You can't debate someone who cannot grasp simple logic, and we have multiple generations of people in this country who have been taught NOT to think.

Yet another American killed by illegal aliens

An illegal alien has been accused of murdering 28-year-old Paige Lane Gomer, an Oklahoma mother of one, in a shooting last week, according to local authorities.
Ramon Hector Martine Ontiveros, a 33-year-old illegal alien from Mexico, allegedly shotand killed 28-year-old Gomer in a shooting on March 21. Police have said Ontiveros has admitted to shooting Gomer, and the alleged murder is still being investigated.
Bring back public executions.

Russia, Russia, Russia!
How did we get here from there? If someone wrote a script detailing the level of corruption and evil in the Democrat Party, Hollywood would turn it down and say it wasn't believable.
This is just the beginning of how corrupt our government truly is.

Millions of Americans have been led to believe that President Trump committed treason, and any day he could be led out of the White House in chains. They wake up every day thinking this could be the day that Mueller gets Trump. These poor souls should be facing a tough reality this weekend. But hold the Xanax, at least for now. The media and Democrat Party have dug themselves so deeply in a hole, they must keep on digging. That’s absolutely terrible for this country, as has been this entire endeavor.
This is just the beginning of how corrupt our government truly is.
As soon as the Clinton campaign realized its misdeeds toward Bernie had been made public, they blamed Russia. They immediately began putting out a narrativethat attempted to say Russia had acted to favor Trump, which included paying Fusion GPS—a notorious propaganda outfit with ties to loads of so-called journalists—to create ties between Trump and Russia.
Fusion GPS then hired a former British spy, Chris Steele, to boost their credibility. He used a different British guy with ties to the Kremlin, Edward Baumgartner, who employed unknown Russians to write a series of Word documents that alleged Trump-Russia collusion.
Meanwhile, Clinton stooge Cody Shearer wrote other documents that alleged Trump-Russia collusion, and Clinton stooge Sidney Blumenthal disseminated those documents into the Obama State Department with the help of would-be Clinton administration secretary of state Victoria Nuland. The State Department people then gave those documents to the FBI.
In short, the Hillary campaign peppered the Obama executive branch with allegations of Trump-Russia collusion. The Obama intelligence apparatus, pushed on by Obama’s Central Intelligence Agency director John Brennan, was only too happy to run with it. Jim Comey’s FBI then used those Word documents to get a warrant from a secret court to spy on Carter Page, a former Trump campaign aide, which allowed the FBI to spy on the rival political party’s presidential campaign.

Holy moly, folks. I can't even begin to explain the climate to those who haven't experienced it. Wait, I can try: Go into your local gym. Go into the sauna. Crank up the heat to at least 90 degrees. Now dump water on to the rocks until the humidity is 90% or higher. Do this in your work clothes. Do this in casual clothing. And then sit there for 24 hours and tell me just how concealable your pistol is.
My current carry pistol is the Ruger LC9s Pro, with an extra magazine. That's a total of 15 rounds of hollowpoint 9mm goodness. And most importantly, that little pistol disappears under a light shirt. Remember, the name of the game is CONCEALED carry. Once I move back up North, I'll carry my double-stack 9mm or my 1911 again, when clothing is bulky enough that nobody sees it. But for right now? Small pistol good.

On the Democrat's dashed hopes, and their addiction to their hatred

They're not going to stop screaming. Instead, their screaming is going to ratchet up to previously unheard of levels.
An addiction begins to end when the drug is withdrawn, but the addict can and often does substitute another. Democrats have been preparing the new drug, much like the old one: Congressional investigations. And if the Mueller report isn’t released to the public they will say there is something (or perhaps many things) that is being hidden, something important. If it is released to the public they will comb through it, much as they did with Sarah Palin’s garbage, looking for a smoking gun (mixed metaphor, I know) or at least a faint whiff of smoke. No doubt they will find something to feed their habit.

What really needs to be understood is that the Left didn't actually think that Trump colluded with Russia. They simply wanted to attack Trump and hope that the very accusations of collusion would be enough to remove him from office. They hoped that the accusation after accusation, parroted by the Democrat Media Complex, would be enough to force the population of America to demand that Trump resign. Because let's face it - had Trump been a typical GOP cuck, he would have stepped down and apologized profusely for non existent crimes rather than fight back.
But Trump isn't some spineless GOP flunky.
And so the Democrats plowed on pushing a bullshit narrative, that everybody knew was bullshit.
Look for the Democrats to now pivot to attacking any criminal act as small as a parking ticket associated with anyone that might have possibly be in Trump's circle. This is standard National Socialist Democrat Worker's Party tactics. Ignore the truth, and keep attacking. The Walking, Talking Sack of Shit Jerrold Nadler has already signaled that he's going to destroy anyone associated with Trump on any trumped up charges he can manufacture. It doesn't matter what the truth is, the only think that Slimy Anal Wart Jerrold Nadler cares about is removing Trump from office.
If Trump wins in 2020, expect the rage and bullshit to increase. Up to 11, even.

Ichiro has retired
I moved to Seattle in late 2000, and I was in the ballpark for plenty of games in 2001, his first year in the Major Leagues. Man, he was awesome to watch.
The Mariners showed class. Ichiro had "partially retired" last year, but the Mariners kept him on so that he could play his last games in Japan. I regret that he never got to win a World Series, but he's not the first world-class player who never made it, and he won't be the last.

I've been mulling this over a bit in my head for some years now. American Jews vote overwhelmingly Democrat. Ben Shapiro has stated quite often that many American Jews consider themselves to be "ethnic", not religious Jews. So they consider themselves to be a group based on their bloodlines, and never set foot inside a temple.
I can remember the protests against the war in Iraq, where Leftists held banners against war, against the USA, against GW Bush, and most especially against Jews. Caricatures of Jews as hooked-nose monsters, Jews as blood-sucking vampires, and (laughably) Jews as Nazis. A photo blogger with the nom de cyber of "Zombie" documented such things, with graphic evidence. Here's just one small example:

There's a big part of me that says "Let them get what they vote for, and let them get it good and hard." The new Democrat Darlings, Ilhan Omar, Rancid Tlaib, and the de-facto Speaker of the House Alexandria Ocasio-Chavez are as anti-Semitic as they come, and it shows no signs of slowing down.
And American Jews vote Democrat by overwhelming margins.
