A "Senior GOP Strategist"

Can kiss my ass.

“A senior GOP strategist, granted anonymity in order to speak candidly, lamented that in endorsing Hoffman, the contenders had delivered to the White House an early victory in their efforts to brand the Republican Party as dominated by its conservative wing.

“‘The Obama White House has made a lot of mistakes, but they’ve certainly gotten the Republican Party’s number,’ said the strategist.

“The rush to back Hoffman, this strategist said, is ‘proof that the Obama political strategy is working.’”

Dear Lord, is this joker serious? Is this brain-dead fuckwit SERIOUS? If the GOP is afraid to be called CONSERVATIVE then hang it up. Just hang it up and get it over with. Right now I wouldn't cry if the every "Senior GOP Strategist" suck-started a shotgun, because they've taken what used to be the most powerful political movement in the country and DESTROYED IT!

Crap like THIS is why the GOP is a dying party. Endorsing a candidate MORE LIBERAL THAN THE DEMOCRAT, in a solidly Republican district, shows just how brain-dead and empty the Stupid Party really is! For the love of Pete, if the GOP had run a moderately conservative candidate in that district this would be a non-issue! But Scozzafava is a liberal. A died in the wool liberal, more liberal than the Democrat in the race, and the GOP is actively pushing her as a viable Republican Candidate. Give me a break!

If you can't stand on your principals, then you're nothing more than a suit filled with hot air and bullshit. In short, you're nothing more than a Democrat. Which is what the Republian Stupid Party has turned into. Just another Democrat party. The party of "Me Too". The Party that can't even explain their principals. The party that cannot defend democracy, or the free market, or limited government. The party that just goes along like a fucking herd of sheep. The party that has handed their opponents victory after victory because they won't defend themselves. The party that has lost big in two consecutive elections, and will probably lose big in the next because they cannot and will not stand up for what their voting base actually believes in.

So fuck the GOP. Let the GOP die the death it deserves, unless it can wake the hell up and get back to what made it a strong, powerful movement to begin with:

How about: Individual liberty. Respect for the Constitution as it was written. Smaller, less expensive, less intrusive government. Strong national defense. Patriotism. Self reliance. The American Dream that you can build a good life, and your children will build a better one.

Not many words there - but most Americans will easily understand them, and if you asked them to choose between those notions, and the beliefs of the left, similarly condensed, I believe the vast majority would vote for the conservative vision.

What does the left stand for? What is its vision?

This: Collective cooperation. A “living” Constitution that changes to fit whatever the left wants to mean. Larger, more expensive, more intrusive government that always knows better than its citizens. Shame for your country. Reliance on the state. The notion that we consume too much, and that we much accept a future in which our children have a worse life than we do, for the good of all.

I ask you: How can that compete with our own ideals and vision?

As usual, read the whole thing. If the GOP doesn't want to be conservative, then kick them to the curb, and kick those stupid fucking retards HARD. There's already a liberal party in this country, we don't need two of them. Let the GOP pull an Arlen Specter and finally admit they're nothing but a bunch of liberal, nanny-statist, corrupt spineless douchbags. And let them die.

This is gonna hurt

And it's gonna hurt a lot.

While campaigning for the Democratic presidential nomination, Barack Obama said his cap-and-trade tax plans would "bankrupt" anyone building a coal-fired power plant. Although those taxes haven't materialized, the Environmental Protection Agency has put the brakes on 79 surface mining permits in four states since he was elected.

The EPA says these permits could violate the Clean Water Act and warrant "enhanced" review. But the agency went even further last week, announcing plans to revoke a permit for the Spruce No. 1 Mine in West Virginia - a move that has caused anxiety among coal-state Democrats about the future of the industry under the Obama administration.

Of course, we KNEW what was going to happen once Teleprompter Jesus got elected, he friggin TOLD us what he was going to do. So now we're reaping the rewards. Ladies and Gentlemen, over half the electricity in this country is produced at coal fired plants. About 57% or so, to be exact. What happens when the cost of coal goes up because of these permits getting rejected?

I can remember being stationed at Ft. Riley back in the 90's, and having my electric bill damn near match my rent because the Kansas Power Company was a coal-burning plant. Even now, the Ragin' Mrs. and I do whatever we can to keep our power consumption down, and believe me when I say we don't exactly have much to cut back on. What happens when people are paying an extra $100 to $200 per month for their electricity? What do you think is going to happen to the economy when that money is removed from the local economy due to the high cost of power?

They'll collapse, that's what. And right now there's nothing we can do about it, thanks to the god-like powers the Democrat American Communist Party has given the EPA.

Like I said, this is gonna hurt.

Project Valour-IT

Ladies and Gentlemen, it's once again time to open your hearts and wallets for Soldier's Angels Project Valour-IT.

You'll notice I have a link to Soldier's Angels in the upper right hand corner of the blog. I have the link to Project Valour IT in the right hand sidebar. This is one of the few charities in life that you can look at, inspect, and be damned sure that your money is going to where they say it is. And there's no worthier cause.

Oh... and remember to donate for the ARMY TEAM! GO ARMY! BEAT NAVY! HOOAH!

Ciao, Bella!

There's nothing quite like a hot Italian lady dressed in black!

WHOOPS! Right country, wrong lady! Ah, here's the one:

Meet Diana. She's a Benelli Nova in 12 gauge, all black, and all mine.

Now I know there are going to be some people who said "Dave, we said REMINGTON, not BENELLI!" Yes, you did say Remington, but let me tell you about my little trip to the gun shop. As I was perusing the shotguns and chatting with the salesman, we got down to the brass tacks of what I wanted. I wanted to be able to hunt ducks, geese, turkey, various other waterfowl, and anyone stupid enough to come into my house uninvited. I was not going to be hunting deer with it. And of course, I was looking for as low a price as possible so I could afford all the various accoutrements that go along with a gun; a hard gun case, plenty of ammo to train with, cleaning supplies, et cetera. And the salesman looks at me, says "I've got your gun. Hold on." and then disappears into the back. He comes back holding this gun. The only time it's been fired is when the gunsmith tested it. It's brand freakin' new, so new it practically SQUEAKS when I hold it. Some guy won it in a raffle and decided that he didn't want it, so he sold it to the gun shop. Since they bought it from a person rather than from the manufacturer, they have to consider it a used gun.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I walked out of that shop with the brand new Benelli shotgun, ammo, case, snap caps and a few other things for under $350.

So yes, you did tell me to get a Remington. But Diana, she seduced me with her sweet whisperings into my ears (and wallet). Maybe it's the Italian blood in me.

And so now I'm ready to go target shooting. Practice, practice, practice, and then go hunting. Ah, sweet duck on my plate! I can taste it already........ And if you're wondering about the name, yes, it's THIS Diana. Not that other Diana.

Now, just wait a minute!

I object to calling this guy a ferret-faced freak!

1. Ferrets are cute. This guy? Not so much. In fact, I don't know if it's the angle of the photo or if this guy is naturally that unfortunate, but it looks like he fell out of an ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.

2. Ferrets, being part of the weasel family, hunt, kill, and eat rodents. Rodents much like the worthless rat-bastard in that article.

3. Ferrets are happy, playful critters. When they get going, they practically radiate joy. From the look on that guy's face, he hasn't played since about 1980 or so.

4. Ferrets are highly intelligent. Take a look at the guy in that picture. He's either so stoned he can't remember his name, or he's got an IQ you can roll on a pair of dice.

So he can't be "ferret-faced". Let's go with "rat-faced freak" instead. It fits much better.

Justice?

At first glance, I don't know what to make about this story:

A troubled young woman whom the Rev. Al Sharpton championed as a victim of a horrific, racially motivated sexual assault now says she fabricated the incident -- despite the fact that all of her alleged attackers pleaded guilty and are serving jail time.

Megan Williams, who is black, wasn't kidnapped and tortured in a West Virginia trailer at the hands of white attackers -- but lied because she wanted to get back at a boyfriend who'd beaten her, her lawyer, Byron Potts, said.

And then there's this:

All seven of the accused attackers pleaded guilty to variety of charges, and six received lengthy prison sentences. Williams, who is developmentally challenged, said she was pressured by her adopted mother to make the false allegation and the two had collected $70,000 in donations, including $1,000 from Sharpton.

To a "variety" of charges? So I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that they weren't a bunch of choirboys. Gah. The thought that ran through my head as I read this story is "Well, if this doesn't describe just how fucked up people can get, I don't know what does."

I need more coffee.

Let's combine yesterday's posts

Since Newt Gingrich was supporting the wrong candidate in the NY 23 district elections, and Sarah Palin was getting attacked, here's a link to the Ace of Spades HQ post where Sarah Palin is supporting Doug Hoffman, the conservative in the NY 23 race.

And Obama tried to ban Fox News from interviewing the "Pay Czar".

There. Yesterday's three posts in one.

By the way - this Pay Czar, who unilaterally made the decision to cut the pay of the top executives of companies to took bail-out money. I think he's on to something. No, really, I do. You see, if the pay is being cut because the companies are miserable failures, and miserable failures don't deserve all that taxpayer money, then it sets the stage. I say go for it. I say slash the paychecks of every congresscritter and politician in Washington D.C., since they've proven that they're nothing but miserable failures. From Obama to the newest Senator, slash that paycheck.

The Continuing Attack on Sarah Palin

Are you frickin' serious?

Again, if you want to know who the left fears, look for who they attack. Sarah Palin scares the shit out of them on a level that the established GOP cannot and will not. Because Sarah Palin exposes all their liberal feminist platitudes as the lies that they are.

Hell, I'd vote for her just to watch all the commie heads exploding. Really. It would be worth it. I'd hear heads popping at MSNBC from my living room.

Newt is Wrong

And this is a problem that the RNC needs to fix, and needs to fix now. The RNC keeps pushing the candidates that it wants to push, but NOT the candidates that Republicans want to vote for. Newt, you can say that you know you're right, but the last two elections proves you wrong. Otherwise, the RNC would be winning elections instead of going the way of the Whig party.

And you know what? If you're so inept that you can't get your voting base to... you know... VOTE for you, you deserve to fade away into the dustbin of history.

The Obama Media Complex

Just.... wow. Really, wow. Why doesn't MSNBC just put Obama's logo where the MSNBC used to go? The Teleprompter Jesus already meets with MSNBC people to put out his orders personally. MSNBC now officially gets it's talking points straight from the White House. Journalistic integrity? What's that? I never want to hear the words "journalistic integrity" uttered in conjunction with ANYONE from ABC, CBS, NBC, CNBC, MSNBC or CNN ever again.

I'm with Breitbart - we're at war with the Main Stream Media. Only they've been at war with us for quite some time, and we're now just getting around to launching our own salvos.

Count me in

Rodger the Real King of France mentions yet more ACORN voter fraud in upstate New York, and suggests that the penalty for voter fraud should be hanging.

Fuck it. I'll agree with him.

I've mentioned this before - We agree to live under the law as a substitute for violence. Part of our laws say that you cannot commit voter fraud. By committing voter fraud you are literally stealing the votes that guide this country. ACORN has been committing voter fraud all over this country, helping their Democrat American Communist Party masters get elected so they can get a bigger piece of the pie. So far, I have yet to see one ACORN punk go to jail for this fraud. The higher-ups are being protected. Although both the House and Senate voted to defund ACORN i have yet to see it happen.

If the rule of law is not upheld, we the people reserve the right to return to our original agreement - hanging the criminal bastards. They obviously don't fear the law. Let them fear us.

Let's see...... how can I get comments?

Oh yeah! I know! Toss out a gun scenario!

I have $500 in my pocket. I need a shotgun that's as multi-purpose as possible.

I need to be able to hunt with it.
I need to be able to use it for home defense.
It needs to be usable by my wife, with her bad back.

It can be any kind of action EXCEPT for semi-auto, just because I'm old fashioned.

Discuss.

Kick that door

And kick it hard. Kick that bastard right the fuck off it's hinges.

House Republicans have complained all year that Democrats have locked them out of the legislative process.

On Tuesday, those complaints took a turn from figurative to literal.

A spokesman for House Oversight and Government Reform ranking member Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) said Democrats changed the lock on the door from the GOP’s meeting room to the main committee chamber, and informed Republicans that Democrats would retain the only set of keys.

Republicans say the move was retaliation for a behind-the-scenes video they shot that showed committee Democrats leaving their meeting room through a back door 30 minutes after they canceled a hearing that the majority said conflicted with Members’ schedules.

Before that hearing was terminated early, Issa was scheduled to call for a vote on whether the committee should issue a subpoena for records and documents relating to the Countrywide Financial VIP mortgage program. Democratic Sens. Chris Dodd (Conn.) and Kent Conrad (N.D.) obtained mortgages from the program, prompting Issa and other Republicans to question whether Dodd and Conrad obtained below-market rates because of their positions. However, the Senate Ethics Committee cleared both lawmakers in the matter.

If this is the kind of legislative ethics that we can expect from Congress, then we just need to wipe the slate clean and start over. We need to fire every last fucking Democrat in Congress for being a bunch of corrupt, greedy, power-hungry statists, and we need to fire every last Republican for being a) just as greedy and corrupt as the Democrats, or B) a bunch of fucking spineless pussies who have let the Democrats walk all over them for the past decade and a half.

Just fire them all. Get rid of them all. Break out the tar and feathers, and ride each of those scum sucking parasites out of town on a rail.

h/t to Bruce.

Sacrificial victims?

Mr. Porretto at Eternity Road has a screed about the state of "journalism" today that I think folks should read. I don't know if I agree with it per se, but it still must be read. I'm not going to give anything away. All I will comment on is that the two groups that he talks about, the victims and the victimizers, are in my mind one and the same. It's one group, victimizing itself.

And right on cue,

As the Obama administration continues it's attack on the one news network that has not turned into slavish propaganda mouthpieces, the propaganda mouthpieces get their marching orders as well. This time it's CNN attacking Rush Limbaugh by asking a psychiatrist why people listen to Rush. No, that's not a joke.

Maybe CNN needs to figure out why Fox News is beating them like a drum at every time slot.

Fox news, according to the administration

"It’s really not news — it’s pushing a point of view. And the bigger thing is that other news organizations like yours ought not to treat them that way, and we’re not going to treat them that way. We’re going to appear on their shows. We’re going to participate but understanding that they represent a point of view.”

I find this completely laughable. You can read more about it here. I know Fox is on the administrations hit list. They are just looking for a way to dispose of Fox. But this is why I have chosen this as a Quote of the Day.

I think Hot Air covers this quite well.

New Stimlus is not off the table

Well, well, well, maybe Pelosi wasn't wrong after all.

President Barack Obama is considering all options to create jobs, including another stimulus package, while trying to pull the economy out of a deep recession and deal with a record deficit, White House advisers said Sunday.

With more than half of the $787 billion recovery package yet to be spent, Obama aides said the administration is not ready to commit to additional measures.

To me this translates to they are trying to figure out how to convince Congress and Senate that it is in their best interest to vote to triple the deficit, again during this term. There is no golden egg in this administration, except for the money that Obama wants to spend that all our our heirs are going to be paying for centuries!

I have a solution, deregulate, detax, de-run-away-spend. It does not take rocket science, but from the way this is going...

Water is Wet-Healthcare edition

There seems to be a lot about the "Health Care Reform" in the news today.

US News Weekly notes that President Obama "has said repeatedly that 'if you like your healthcare coverage, you can keep it,'" and Republicans, "of course, have scoffed at that claim," but "many Democrats are now starting to doubt it, too." The Democrats' "concern involves a key provision in the newly passed Senate Finance Committee healthcare bill" -- a "new tax that insurers will have to pay on their most expensive healthcare plans" or "Cadillac" plans. Because of "the tax, experts say, insurance companies could hike rates across the board, hurting people who aren't super-rich, including middle-class Americans who have more generous health plans, such as union workers, older working Americans, and people with dangerous jobs."

Isn't this kind of like the dog biting the man who feed it.

And here is my laugh for the day...

"the White House will not commit to health care legislation that would cap insurance premiums or tax benefits, taking a wait-and-see approach as congressional negotiators seek a deal." For example, "President Barack Obama will not demand that a final bill include a government-run plan as a way of driving down costs through competition, though that's his preference."
Right, between Obama, his advisers, Pelosi, and Reid they may appear to make concessions, but you can bet your sweet bippie that they have back door dealings to force what they want down our throats. Anyone who trusts what comes out of these mouths needs to have a serious reality check. Watching this circus of an administration, the two things I have learned are; if they say they want something, they will do what ever is necessary to accomplish it, and if they are making concessions and saying they will not do something, it doesn't mean a thing, because they are probably doing it anyway.

"not how much troops you have, but whether in fact there's an Afghan partner."

From the article that I read, basically the White House is saying the election in Afghanistan was fraudulent and therefore does not want to send any more troop until they are legitimate.

White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel said on CNN that President Barack Obama wouldn't make a decision on his military commanders' request for as many as 80,000 additional American troops in Afghanistan until the administration is convinced that the country has a credible central government.

"There's not a security force, an army, the type of services that are important for the Afghans to become true partners," Emanuel said. "It would be reckless to make a decision on U.S. troop level if, in fact, you haven't done a thorough analysis of whether, in fact, there's an Afghan partner ready to fill that space that the U.S. troops would create and become a true partner in governing."

To me this sounds like the administration wants to do to Afghanistan what they did to the car companies and banks. Is our administration doing a hostile takeover of a foreign country?
