Well, that didn't work

So the Mrs. is putting more meat in our diet because of the results of a blood test that showed she needed more iron and vitamin D.  We're trying out organ meats.  We used beef heart in chili, and that worked out really well.  Tonight was liver.

Liver and onions.  We'd never had it before, and we asked "How bad could it be?"

Pretty damn bad, actually.  No bueno.

So next we're going to try to grind it up and mix it with ground beef to make burgers.  We're trying to figure out how to get the nutrients without just eating it straight.

My dad loves liver and onions.  Apparently that's not exactly genetic.

Nope.  With the exception of people who have a medical condition (thyroid, cancer, etc), the problem with people being fat is themselves.  And if you're fat, and you're offended, I'm not sorry.  I have to maintain a certain weight and body fat percentage to stay in the Army.  I have to work every day to make sure I'm eating right, and working out, so that I maintain my fitness even though I'm stuck behind a desk doing fuck-all for physical exertion ten to twelve hours a day.  It takes self control to not eat ice cream every night.  We just don't buy it.  We don't bring it in to the house.  It takes self control to cook your own food instead of eating processed crap every day.  Again, we just don't buy the crap or bring it in to the house, which forces us to cook real food.  Yes, it takes effort.  It's what we used to call "being an adult".

What this academic wants is for people to applaud her complete and total lack of self control while she stuffs her face with all the things that makes her fat.  That's like a slut demanding that people applaud their genital warts.  "LOOK AT MEEEEEEEEEEEE!  MY INABILITY TO CONTROL MYSELF HAS GIVEN ME A MEDICAL CONDITION AND MULTIPLE DISEASES!  YOU MUST WORSHIP ME NOW!"

To hell with that crap.  Nobody admires a 400 pound blob for their fatness, and nobody should do so.  If Jabba the grad student wants approval for something, maybe she should take the time to lose the weight and show the world that she can actually control herself.  Otherwise, piss off.

Crap like this is why I take college classes online.  If I had to sit in a class being lectured by a feminazi land-whale, I'd be kicked out of school faster than this sow gobbles down a triple cheeseburger with bacon.  She doesn't need acceptance.  She needs to put her fork down.

Look, we all pack on a few pounds here or there, but if you have to clean between the folds of flab, you're a fattie.  If your blood type could be "Jello Pudding", you're a fattie.  If you have to reach around the mound of flesh to wipe your own ass, you're a fattie.  And if you have to get special chairs and desks made to accommodate your bulk, you're a fattie.

Put down the fork.  Step away from the fork, and the spoon.  Eat a salad, without the quart of ranch dressing.  Hell, put down the ranch dressing because most of them are made with absolute crap.  Cook real food that you bought at the supermarket.  Learn how to cook healthy.  Don't know how?  Try looking it up on your smart phone, which even people on welfare have, and which can get you access to the ENTIRETY OF THE WORLD'S KNOWLEDGE IN FIVE SECONDS.

But don't ask me to applaud you while you waddle your quarter-ton ass to your specially reinforced chair.  Ain't gonna happen.

Things can go to hell in twenty years

Just take a look at National Review.  At this point, they've gone from being a freedom-defending publication, to having to be scolded for implying that Jews are responsible for Antisemitism.

Seriously, I used to keep old stacks of National Review in my house so that I could bone up on any topic that I was going to have to argue about with my co-workers.  Now?  I wouldn't take a copy of NR if you paid me to do so.  I knew their boat was sinking when my dad, who had subscribed to NR from the beginning, said he was dropping his subscription.  He couldn't handle their whiny soiboi anti-Trump-all-the-time bullshit. 

He's also ditched his Forbes subscription.  We've gone from having Thomas Sowell on a monthly basis to liberal Democrats extolling the virtues of socialism in every episode.  Dad used to read it religiously, as he was an investor for decades.  Stocks, bonds, real estate, you name it and dad probably invested in it.  And a couple of years ago he decided that he didn't need to be preached to by some snot-nosed know-nothing kid with a fancy degree and no experience what so ever in anything resembling the real world, which is pretty much the entire slate of Forbes writers these days, with an exception here or there.

It doesn't take long, once you stop defending civilization, for the Morlocks to take over.  They've taken over NR, they've taken over Forbes.  Hell, they've taken over vast swathes of our government because they were installed there by the proto-morlocks of the 60's and 70's.  The freedom we had in this country is essentially gone.  No kids today are going to remember riding in the back of pick-up trucks.  Hell, parents are getting visits from the police for the crime of letting their children walk to school alone.  The safety nazis of today would shit a brick if they saw what my brother and I used to do when we were kids.  I was six, he was nine, we lived in a suburb, we had bicycles, and mom would shoo us out the door in the morning.  We'd come back when we were hungry, and she'd shoo us out the door again.  Figure that for the sixteen waking hours we had, we were indoors for maybe three of them.

Unless they're growing up in the country, away from the cities and Morlock nests they contain, most kids can't even comprehend growing up the way my generation did.  And that is how a civilization dies.

Lazy Day

The smoked sausages are awesome.  Mesquite goes quite well with game meats. 

I can't say I've done much at all today.  In fact, I've stayed off the computer for the majority of the day.

Mmmmmm.... Venison.....

A co-worker of mine, who enjoyed partaking of my home made sausage, told me last week that he wanted to learn how to do it.  So today I spent some time at his house with my stuffer and grinder.  He had venison.  Oh, yes.

So after a brief tutorial, we started cranking away.  Came out with fifteen pounds of sausage in three different flavors.  He didn't quite like the flavor of the last batch, I mentioned possibly smoking that batch to get a different flavor, and he handed it all over to me and said "Enjoy!"

So I'm about to pull it out of the smoker right now.  I've had it on mesquite for about five hours now, so it'll be a good smoked cured sausage.  I'll give him back about half of it, because he's a damn good guy and he loves smoked meats.

Of course, we had to cook up a few links to make sure it all tasted good.  His wife walked in to the kitchen and started drooling.

Accounting

So I'm back taking more classes, this time doing accounting.  Which will come in handy once I've retired and we're starting our own business.  Anyways, anytime I have to participate in a group discussion, I like to go find a quote related to the subject.  As we were discussing Governmental accounting, aka what we tell Uncle Sam so he can tax the shit out of us, I came across a quote from Thomas Sowell:

Balanced budget requirements seem more likely to produce accounting ingenuity than genuinely balanced budgets.

Ayup.

As an aside, if you're wondering about the lack of posting yesterday and today, it's because I'm trying to un-cross my eyes after reading pages on accounting.  I know some people love that stuff.  My father is one of them; he loves math problems, and give him an accounting spreadsheet and he's happy as a clam.  I take after mom, who appreciates math but doesn't love it by any stretch.

In 2017 Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham commissioned a report on the police response to the abuse of young girls in the early 2000s. Mayor Burnham was inspired by a BBC special called The Betrayed Girls (see below) which focused, in part, on the death of 15-year-old Victoria Agoglia. Victoria had died of a drug overdose in 2003 after complaining that she was being abused and drugged by a group of Pakistani men. The report, which was released today, found that Manchester police launched an investigation into the situation. The investigation identified dozens of other victims and nearly 100 suspects but funding for the effort was pulled and almost no one involved was ever punished.

Do read it all, especially the part where an MP for the area not only investigated but wrote up a report and sent it to the press in an attempt to shine some light on GIRLS BEING RAPED BY MUSLIMS, but the press shit-canning the report because it didn't fit their narrative.

If I found out that any girl in my family had been raped, and the police did nothing, and the press did nothing, I would go Old Testament.  Burn everything to the ground.  Kill every single rapist, and since the police wouldn't be anywhere around, as they're not doing anything other than checking traffic cameras, burn the rapists' homes to the ground.  Wipe out the entire community.  Then, as everyone is running to the burning houses, you go burn down the police station.  If they can't even protect innocent girls from being raped while people hand them evidence on a silver platter, there's no reason for that station to exist.  Burn it down, and if there's any bobbies in there, oh well, they should have been looking at the hundred-plus corpses that were just sent to hell.  From there, move on to the press office.  Do the same.

One of the fundamental jobs of a civilized society is to protect your children so that they can grow up and be productive.  How many of those girls that were repeatedly raped by muslims while society just watched will grow up to do the same?  

Everyone who should have defended these girls looked the other way while they were raped and abused.  And all in service to an ideology that will wipe them off the map at the first opportunity.

In a perfect world, the rapists and those who enabled them would be lined up in public and executed by having a spiked baseball bat shoved into their rectum and rotated until the person was dead.  But quite frankly, at this point I would settle for having every one of them shot as quickly as possible and then having the bodies dumped into a pig farm.

How many more stories like this are we going to see coming out of Britain?

California's waterways are full of shit.  Literally.

The presence of fecal bacteria in water is usually the result of problems with sewer systems and septic tanks. But water quality officials agree that the source of at least some of the fecal bacteria is California’s growing homeless population, most of whom don’t have reliable access to toilets. 

“I’ve carried 5-gallon buckets that were unambiguously being used as toilets,” said David Gibson, executive officer of the San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board, describing his experience cleaning up homeless encampments. “They were taking it to the San Diego River, dumping it there, and rinsing it out there.”

There's the homeless shitting everywhere, which turns the entire area into a contaminated toilet.  Anyone who's been to Los Angeles can tell you what the Los Angeles River smells like as it rolls through the San Fernando Valley.  That ain't roses, son.  I've actually gagged and vomited from the smell as I was running over a bridge that crossed the river.  Hot days and shitty water don't go well with exercise.

And Victor Davis Hanson has described on multiple occasions the tents and encampments of illegal aliens in agricultural areas, who get away with trashing the environment in ways that would get a legal citizen locked up for decades.

When you allow flagrant homelessness, flagrant illegal encampments, flagrant violations of every civilized norm, well then, you get shit everywhere.  Enjoy your Hepatitis A and B, possibly C, and then some cholera on the side.

Trump is showing all the supposed "experts" how things actually get done in the real world.  That's because Trump operated in the real world before he ran for president, unlike all our supposed "experts" in D.C. who haven't been exposed to reality for about oh....  four decades now, if not longer.  And I'm pretty sure that's why the Deep State response to him is so unhinged.  Iran was murdering Americans with impunity under Bush and Obama.  They were ramping up their efforts to murder more Americans under Trump, because they thought he was going to do what Bush and Obama did.  Instead, we have the leader of the terrorist Quds force turned into ashes and smoke that smell like goat-rape.  The Mad Mullahs don't know what to do.  The "experts" in D.C. don't know what to do.  And every last prediction those "experts" have made has been wrong, while Trump goes about doing the things he sees that need to be done.

The "experts" have been proven wrong every single time.  The political class has been completely exposed as either incompetent or completely corrupt.  The media has been exposed as a rabid mass of Democrat Party operatives who's tenuous grip on reality has been completely lost.  All because we elected a businessman instead of a politician.

Going out today

Don't know when I'll be back.  We're going snowshoeing, then picking up some pork so we can make sausage.  It'll be a long day, but a good one.  But here's just a few random thoughts.

Trump has gotten the Democrats to defend Iran and terrorists.  As in actually carrying around pictures of a dead jihadi as they mourn his loss.  We all knew the Democrats are the enemies of America, but Trump has gotten them to proclaim it in the streets. 

The man's a genius.

Our media is total and complete garbage, but you knew that already.

Iran shot down that plane, but again, you knew that already.

But that's different from what Trump did because shut up.

I think half my joy of watching Trump do his thing is that he actually calls out these pathetic fucking liars.

But back when President Obama decided to bomb Libya in 2011, in response to zero Americans being killed, Pelosi defended Obama's decision at the time by saying the president did not need congressional authorization to launch such attacks nor to keep U.S. forces in Libya.

San Fran Nan is having a hard couple of years, what with being shoved into corner after corner by the people she's responsible for creating, and it couldn't happen to a more deserving person.  Every single day it seems her tremors grow just a wee bit worse, and her dentures come just a wee bit more loose.  I know that as a Christian I'm not supposed to root for someone to die, but I cannot wait for this evil hag to shuffle off this mortal coil.  I might actually make a trip into San FranFreakshow just to piss on her grave.

New York is now signing non-citizens up to vote.  I don't want to hear one fucking word about the popular vote ever again from the anti-American fucking communists that run New fucking York and Kali-fucking-frutopia.

New York State Senate Democrats have advanced a plan that will automatically register to vote all residents who apply for a driver’s licenses — which now includes non-citizens and illegal aliens — unless they “opt-out.”

Democrats only win the elections that they steal.  This is in New York now.  Look for the Democrats to push it in states further west once they get the chance.  And once they can get the socialists that they import to vote for more socialists and more socialism, this country is finished.

Oh, and once Democrats have their vote slaves properly lined up, expect to see buses full of them flooding across the borders of any state where Democrats think they can swing an election.  It happened in Wisconsin - buses full of Democrat voters being taken from Illinois into Wisconsin so that they can vote in Wisconsin elections.  The only thing Democrats care about is power, and they have no morals when it comes to how they obtain it.

A tragic hunting accident took the lives of father and daughter, Kim Drawdy, 30, and Lawren Drawdy, 9, on Friday. In a rare mishap, hunters mistook the two, who were also hunting, for deer — and shot and killed them. According to statistics, less than 75 people per year die in the United States and Canada from accidental shooting while hunting. 

The tragedy was compounded and thrown into the national spotlight when a "mean tweet" took the nation by suprise. A Seattle restaurant co-owner, Lana Kiossovski, took to Twitter and wrote, "1.5 less MAGAbilly's in the world. At least they died supporting their beloved 2nd amendment." The now-deleted tweet has been saved by multiple sources.

These are the people who want you disarmed so that they can shove you into railcars at their convenience.  Democrats hate you and they want you to die.  This Democrat ditz showed her ass on the internet, and now she's getting push-back from people all over the country.  But she's in Seattle, which means she's getting congratulated and applauded by all the people surrounding her in that socialist shithole.  Don't think for a moment that she's an outlier - every person this woman is in personal contact with thinks exactly the way she does.
