But someone else did - Obama lies about being a White Sox fan.  Actually, he just lies.  Period.  Full stop, no need to add any qualifier.

Dibble commented on Obama's hat — a nicely faded black Sox cap — which the president proudly wore on the mound reminding all of us once again of the heroic team from Chicago that has actually won a World Series in the past 100 years.

Dibble asked the fateful question, one so easy that Hawk Harrelson would have called it a "can of corn."

Dibble: "Who was one of your favorite White Sox players growing up?"

Obama: "You know … uh … I thought that … you know … the truth is, that a lot of the Cubs I liked too."

Ouch. The silence between the stammers was excruciating. America's No. 1 Sox fan couldn't name one Sox player.

Obama probably wears the White Sox hat because he's expected to root for some sports team in the area he came from.  And since Kenya doesn't have a MLB team, he wears a hat from Chicago.  But that worthless fucking fake can't name ONE DAMN PLAYER from a team he supposedly roots (or at least rooted for?)

Bullshit.  Lies, lies, and more lies.  They shoulda taken that hat off his head and tossed it.  This is just another example of Obama lying his ass off.  He lies about the little stuff.  He lies about the big stuff.  Without his precious teleprompter feeding him his lines he's nothing but a stuttering jackass.

What happens when they quit?

The 53% of households that still pay taxes in this country, what happens when they quit?  What happens when they look around and see that they're getting financially raped to support a permanent parasitic class? What happens when they refuse to continue to be a communists re-election fund source?

Think it won't happen?  Oh, there will always be the super rich, they'll just move their money somewhere else.  But there are plenty of people who will look at the government tax rules and say "It's just not worth it.  I'm not going to work eighty hours a week to support welfare moms with six kids."  As Mostly Cajun puts it:

D’you even wonder why the hackles rise on the back of my neck when I stand in the grocery line behind some welfare cow with four kids under six who pays for premium groceries with her plastic government benefits card, then whips out a roll of twenties to pay for cigarettes and alcohol? And now we'll be buying her health care!  And her kids health care!  And her kid's kids health care!  So what happens when those people stop doing what they do, and the taxes they provide dry up?

Why, everything else gets taxed.  I know in Wisconsin people are now paying six bucks for a pack of cigarettes.  Thing is, a pack of smokes in Canada in 1992 was six bucks.  I can remember trying to buy a pack, and not believing the cost.  "Six bucks?  But it only costs me TWO bucks back home!"  Well, back home had not been consumed by entitlement spending and the taxes that go along with them.  But we sure are now!  Get ready to get raped by the government for EVERYTHING you buy, because if you think that companies are just going to shell out billions more without passing that cost along, you haven't been paying attention in class.

Half this country doesn't pay any taxes.  Start thinking about what's going to happen when the other half decides it ain't worth it.

Yes, LBers, you’ve read that correctly: a state has invoked eminent domain in order to take back land from the feds.

Oh, please oh please oh please....  Anything to beat the Feds back one little step needs to be cheered and applauded and supported.

With all this talk about Obama, it brought to mind a quote from C.S. Lewis, and I just spend twenty minutes trying to find it - It's from a book/speech he gave titled "The Abolition of Man".  And the quote at the very end of Chapter 1 is:

"We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honour and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and bid the geldings be fruitful."

I know a lot of people who will be happy that we're leaving.  Hell, I know a lot of Soldiers who will be happy that we're leaving, and couldn't care less about what happens when we leave.  But if we leave in this fashion, and Iraq collapses, we will be back in Iraq within a decade, and the cost in money and blood to redo our efforts in Iraq will make what we have currently spent look like spare change.  Of course, that will have to be paid by someone else other than the Marxist Messiah, so he really doesn't care.  In fact, he really doesn't care about any of our allies, and it shows.

Look for a massive outbreak of war in the Middle East sometime soon.  With Obama's complete and total lack of foreign policy (unless you count ignorance, apathy and stupidity as policy) it won't be long before the usual suspects start hitting harder and harder.  They know they won't get a response from Obama, and they're free to act with impunity.

That ain't good.

UPDATE:  Yup.  I was having a discussion with some of my fellow Soldiers, and the consensus is that Obama is the first American president who actually thinks that America is the problem with the world.  And it shows.

I want to find every idiotic asshole who made him the Commander in Chief, and beat them with lead pipes.

What I have learned after discussions over the last several days with several journalists who either have regular access to the White House or are part of the White House press corps is that there is a growing sense that access is traded for positive stories -- or perhaps worse, an agreement that things learned will not be reported in the near term.

The White House is working hard to secure deals that yield fluffy, feel good commentary about the Obama White House. One American White House reporter used colorful terms to describe the arrangement. The reporter said, "They want 'blow jobs' first [in the press sense]. Then you have to be on good behavior for a bit or be willing to deal, and then you get access."

The Media has been nothing but a Fluffer for Obama long before he got elected, and now they want to cry about it.  Fuck them.  They've had their lips fastened to Obama's crotch for years.  This shouldn't be unfamiliar behavior.  Let them sink along with their Marxist Messiah.

The other professors hated him because he was lazy, unqualified, never attended any of the faculty meetings, and it was clear that the position was nothing more than a political stepping stool. According to my professor friend, he had the lowest intellectual capacity in the building. He also doubted whether he was legitimately an editor on the Harvard Law Review, because if he was, he would be the first and only editor of an Ivy League law review to never be published while in school (publication is or was a requirement). 

Obama is a fraud.  But then, some people knew that before the election.  We were just called "racists".

There's hope for him yet!
