Daddy got his new pair of shoes

New Balance 810v2.  They're my transition into minimalist running shoes, but they have good cushion, and when I ran my test lap around the store they kept my feet in the proper position.

Light, too.  REAL light.  And they're trail running shoes, since I run about half on pavement and half on dirt.

We'll see how they do.

Clean-up day

Got some plants to remove, other plants to put in the ground, things to pick up, mead to bottle, more mead to start, and various other activities that need to be completed.

A federal watchdog’s upcoming report says senior Internal Revenue Service officials knew agents were targeting tea party groups in 2011.

The disclosure contradicts public statements by former IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman, who repeatedly assured Congress that conservative groups were not targeted.
