The number of Republicans sniveling over the people is amazing

Especially in Oklahoma.  I knew that a lot of GOP politicians are squishy RINOs, but Oklahoma?

Earlier this year, a Senate Republican, Lonnie Paxton, complained that Spencer went too far when he declared at a rally, “We win at the ballot box so we don’t have to go to the ammo box.”

Noting the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing was fueled by anti-government rhetoric, Paxton said the remark “crossed every conceivable line of decency.”

Spencer brushed off the complaint, saying it only helped his fundraising.

Now, I'm not all that familiar with Oklahoma politics, but if the phrase "We win at the ballot box so we don't have to go to the ammo box" is offensive to you?  Not only are you a pathetic pussy, but you're wildly out of touch with reality.  And if that phrase makes you wet yourself with fear and mumble something about decency, you should get out into the real world and listen to what people are really saying.

Hint:  It's nowhere near that nice.  To quote John Ringo, you can take your principles and shove them where the sun don't shine.  We have people telling kindergarteners that it's OK to cut off your penis, LGBTOSTUF injected into everything, cancel culture killing people's jobs, radical leftists in control of media and culture in America, the FedGov weaponized against law-abiding Americans while enabling leftist violence in cities all over the country, and you think that not only do we need to be "decent" but your definition of decency is apparently rolling over and not offending the people who are shrieking for me and mine to be pushed into a concentration camp.

Fuck.  Off.  And die screaming.

Best Headline so far this year

Romney unintentionally reminds everyone why Trump was elected in the first place

Well....  yeah.

Showing a particular out-of-touchedness that highlighted his failed run for president in 2012, Romney cited public opinion polls — in Germany, the UK, France, Canada and Sweden — opposed to Trump as evidence of his shortcomings. Since when is pursuing U.S. interests contingent upon appealing to foreign populations? If going to Iraq had been a global referendum, we would have never gone in.
What Trump has done, which is long overdue, is emphatically state that the U.S. will act, on foreign trade and relations, in a manner that benefits the U.S. first. No more one-sided trade deals designed to redistribute American wealth overseas. No more free lunches for the NATO alliance, either. These are measured responses to bankrupt policies that were bankrupting the nation with open-ended military engagements, open borders and the outsourcing of millions of jobs.
Romney would have been a horrible president.  Maybe better than Obama, sure, but that's a low bar to set.  Trump has been the 2nd most conservative president of my lifetime, and certainly the most Libertarian president.  Regulations are going DOWN.  Taxes went DOWN.  Troops being pulled from areas where there's no declaration of war.

Romney's attack on Trump was short-sighted and wrong, and it did indeed highlight why he was such a loser in 2012.  He'll be just another RINO in Congress that we'll have to deal with for six years.  Thanks, Utah.

It's been a week

So let's be blunt.  George HW Bush might have been a Navy Hero, and a decent man.  But he was a horrible president.

Not only did he—read my lips—betray the legacy of Ronald Reagan in his electorally fatal decision to welsh on his “no new taxes” pledge, not only did he cut the legs out from under the Reagan Revolution by calling for a “kinder, gentler America,” but he also egregiously mishandled the Gipper’s most important legacy: the defeat of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War.

Years ago I did a list of America's ten worst Presidents.  I put Bush Sr. at #9.  He was the perfect model of the Republican establishment.  Read the whole article.  I can't argue with a bit of it.

Call your Representatives

Tell them to fire John Boehner.

I already called by Rep, his phone lines were busy and mailbox was full.  I'm hoping this is a good sign.  Boehner needs to go.  If Boehner remains speaker, I can see the GOP splitting apart for good.  A party cannot remain whole when the establishment leadership constantly attacks it's base.

Tell us something we don't know

"McCain F**king hates Cruz"

Naw, really?  But they seemed so buddy-buddy in the Senate, right?

The best thing that could happen for the GOP is for McCain to just retire.  Just go away, John.  You're a fucking embarrassment to the Republican Party, and you're more interested in getting good press than standing by the principles you claim to have in order to get elected.  Just go the fuck away.

Bachmann's migrains

OK, so let's say that everything is true, and Michelle Bachmann suffers from migraines.

She's been one of the most outspoken members of Congress for a few years now.  She's constantly out front, pushing for conservative ideals and starting the Tea Party Caucus in Congress.  She's been busier than almost anyone else in Congress in terms of bringing conservative arguments to America.

So what's the excuse for the other people?  If Michelle Bachmann has managed to separate herself from the crowd and be a front-runner for the 2012 nomination, as well as be a leader in the conservative movement, all while supposedly suffering from "debilitating" migraines......

THEN WHAT THE SAM HELL IS WRONG WITH THE REST OF THE GOP?  Debilitating SYPHILIS?  Intercranial Fecalstenosis?  Cranial-Rectal Impaction?  If Michelle Bachmann is so debilitated that she can't function, and she's managed to do everything she's done for the past couple of years, then that must mean that everybody else is so debilitated from whatever their disease de jour is that they can't manage to actually stand for the principals they claimed to hold while they were running for election!

Or......  Maybe this is just a partisan hit-piece on Bachmann, paid for by people who are more interested in getting invited to the right D.C. parties than what's good for this country.  Hmmmmmm.....  Gosh, it could just be that, couldn't it?

Exagerated Similarities

I held my nose when I voted for McCain, but when I watch speeches like this, I reminded of how vast the differences between Obama and McCain truly are in regards to U.S. foreign policy. Teaching the nation a lesson this way could come at a price we'll never afford.

What the f**k is wrong at NRO?

I'm one of the folks who subscribe to National Review on dead tree, but I'm really, really thinking about canceling my subscription at this point. Because at this time, most of what I see coming out of National Review is elitists who have fallen into the same attitude that the Democrat American Communist Party has - that Sarah Palin is somehow less of a conservative, or is somehow WRONG, because she's not some rich, snobbish, inside the beltway asshole. Case in point - NRO's editorial on Palin's "Death Panels" remark.

To conclude from these possibilities to the accusation that President Obama’s favored legislation will lead to “death panels” deciding whose life has sufficient value to be saved — let alone that Obama desires this outcome — is to leap across a logical canyon. It may well be that in a society as litigious as ours, government will err on the side of spending more rather than treating less. But that does not mean that there is nothing to worry about. Our response to Sarah Palin’s fans and her critics is to paraphrase Peter Viereck: We should be against hysteria — including hysteria about hysteria.

Let me ask a question - just why the hell do you think the "Death Panel" terminology was removed from the bill? Was it because the snobs at NRO talked Congress out of it? No, it was because Sarah Palin connected with the conservatives out there. Because she took a concept and boiled it down to it's base level, and the real conservatives took that and ran with it. Did I really think that there would be panels of people going thumbs up or thumbs down on whether granny got to live? No. But I do believe that had that language on "end of life" counseling remained in that bill, a government bean-counter would be deciding just how much the government would spend to keep granny alive. And in the end, it amounts to the same thing - care being withheld.

NRO needs to either pull their heads out of their collective ass, or they need to get the hell out of the way.

Hitler hated everyone but his own race,

Obama thinks he can control everyone but conservatives who he thinks he can control through hate.

Obama threatens to cut off all federal aid to Oklahoma if they make English their official language

Sotomayer is being confirmed to the Supreme Court based on a 68 to 31 vote. You can find the 9 turncoats here.

Everyday, as painful as it is I, we all, must keep informed for our own safety and an attempt to protect our future.
