Yesterday was busy. My apologies.

I'm currently watching this country go insane.  Riots, burning down of buildings, rampant vandalism, all in the name of "justice".  That's not justice, it's violent criminal behavior.  When they're looting the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta over something that happened in Minneapolis, that's not about justice.  It's about being criminals, engaging in criminal behavior.

Although seeing the CNN logo get vandalized did have quite a bit of satisfaction, I must admit.  CNN has fed this ugly baby for years now, it's nice to see them get some of what they've grown, thrown right back in their faces.  Enjoy that vibrant diversity, CNN!

Got some family visiting right now, which is part of the whole lack of posting.  I don't do computer time when we have family, because quite frankly I value my family time.

Got a new fuel pressure regulator in the mail.  Gonna install it today and see what happens.  So long as the bike runs, I'm going to ride it to the shop and trade it in.  The shop has one of these bad boys sitting on the showroom, and they've got some massive discounts on it:



We'll see what happens.

These cloth masks are a waste of time

Look, if you're all in an enclosed room, and you think one of you might be sick, then you make the sick person wear a mask.  But walking around with masks does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to protect the healthy people.  Just stop it.

A bar owner in Elgin, Texas, has posted a subtle, but biting, announcement to the mask-wearing scolds who may wander into his establishment. It was so perfectly put that I’m legit thinking of taking a road trip now. Without a mask on, of course.

There are a few businesses that require a mask for me to go in, and I only go there if I have no other options.  Other than that, I'm walking around without a mask on.

And if we actually had an objective media instead of the toxic dumpster fire of arrogance and stupidity that the US Media exhibits, someone might actually ask him a few questions about that.  Well, more than one person would, anyways.

While Democrats have praised Cuomo as successful because he puts on a good briefing, even calling him “presidential,” over a quarter of all the deaths in the country from the virus are in New York and many of them may be as a result of Cuomo’s nursing home order.

Fox’s Janice Dean had some great points and had a good question for Cuomo.

Cuomo is a mafia goon who's only in the job because his mob-boss daddy was governor too, and NYFC loves to be ruled by their mafia goons.  NYFC and Nipples Cuomo botched the response to the Kung Flu.  Period.  Full Stop.  Nipples Cuomo was shoving contagious people BACK INTO NURSING HOMES where they could infect the most vulnerable people in our population.

And the press fawns all over Nipples Cuomo and makes sure they never ever ask him any hard questions.  It's disgusting.

The DNC is probably going to try to push Nipples Cuomo as Presidential material sometime in the next few cycles.  Keep this in mind when you hear his name.  Cuomo killed people.

The grotesque idiot is of course, Jonah Goldberg .

The Dispatch’s Jonah Goldberg slammed White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, saying Sunday that her behavior was “indefensible and grotesque.” 

Anchor Chris Wallace was also critical of McEnany as he and Goldberg discussed her most recent press briefings on “Fox News Sunday.”

Jonah Goldberg used to have principles.  I don't know when he lost them, but whatever true convictions he used to have are gone, and what's left is a weak, pathetic, gutless sack of cruise-ship-buffet-eating stupidity, bleating and yelping at the people who are actually fighting back against the Marxism destroying this country.  Maybe he can huff his "WELL I NEVER!" time and time again, but he's one of the big reasons I tossed my National Review subscription into the trash.  I don't need to be lectured by people who coddle up to the enemy of my country.

Why don't you try getting out of the beltway for a while, Jonah?  It might do you some good.  And just admit your hair is going, and cut it.  Trust me.

OK, now this bike is really pissing me off

So, when I replaced the last fuel pressure regulator it blew after half a mile.  But I had picked up two of the same part, just in case.  Two is one and one is none, right?

So yesterday I go out to do the switcheroo, and when I open the package IT'S THE WRONG FUCKING PART.  It's a regulator, but it doesn't go to my bike.  I don't know what machine it's supposed to go on, but mine ain't it.

So my bike is still a 750 pound pile of crap on two wheels.  It'll take about two weeks to get my part here.  Once I get it, I'm putting it on the bike and trading it in.  I'm done with not having a reliable machine.

California doctors:  We've seen more deaths from Suicide than from Covid-19.

“The numbers are unprecedented,” Dr. Michael deBoisblanc of John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, California, told ABC 7 News about the increase of deaths by suicide, adding that he’s seen a “year’s worth of suicides” in the last four weeks alone. 

DeBoisblanc said he believes it’s time for California officials to end the stay-at-home order and let people back out into their communities.

The lock-down was a mistake.  A massive, economy destroying, dictatorial mistake.  End it now.

Obama isn't going to jail.  Biden isn't going to jail.  They both deserve to do so, but they're not going to jail, because that's not how the system works any more.  The phrase "nobody is above the law" is a flaming crock of shit, and we all know it.  There ARE people above the law, which explains why Hillary Clinton is still free, why that creepy bug-eyed pervert Adam Schiff hasn't been pulled from Congress and thrown into jail.  It's why Diane Feinstein and her husband get to sell off excess USPS property and pocket the money, making BILLIONS of dollars off the US Government in a move that would throw any private citizen in jail.

I keep coming back to a quote from Francis Porretto, and I'm paraphrasing here - The Law is a substitute for violence, and when The Law no longer works, we have the right to use that violence ourselves.

If McCabe, Comey, Clapper, Brennan, Sztruk (or whatever the hell is name is) and the rest of this corrupt clown show don't face charges, then the simple truth is that The Law no longer works.

I might be more inclined to blow it off as youthful indiscretion if Bigtits Bugeyes McDonkeychompers wasn't trying to turn this country into the USSA.

Put Put Kaput

As best as I can tell, the fuel pressure regulator on the bike just took a shit.  Started feeling a little jerky on the ride home.  By the time I got to my exit, it was stuttering, backfiring, had to keep it revved, and there was a smell of gasoline in the oil when I checked it after the engine had cooled down. 

So now I have to try to get a new FPR here in time for me to replace it for Memorial Day.  Don't know if that's going to happen.  Plus, gotta change the oil.  With a '02 VTX, when the FPR goes out, it basically dumps enough fuel that it leaks around the pistons and floods the oil pan.  Can't run the bike with crappy oil.  And there's maybe 3000 miles on that oil.  It's Amsoil.  That stuff will run for 5000 miles easy.  Not anymore.

All of this to say that IF I can get a new FPR here, I'll be busy on Friday.  If not, I'll be riding the Mrs. motorcycle for the ride folks have planned.  Not the best option, but it's an option.

The lockdown didn't lose. It was a test run

Yeah, yeah, I know, conspiracy theory.  But when I read this, it's what runs through my head.  Don't get me wrong, it's a fair summation of what happened, but I think the author is looking at it from the wrong lens.

Governors in three states have lost three straight cases in courts when claiming authority over the crisis. More will. Because the Constitution, common sense, and civil liberties can not now and never have been based on some unelected leader in a lab coat, nor on the bankrupt shoulders of failed governors.

They must remain the sole possession of “We The People.”

And thanks to the lockdown, it appears that we understand that better now than we have for a very long time.

I have little faith that the Sheeple will remember anything the next time the media comes squealing about disaster.  I think some states will be more inclined to say "Fuck you!" to the government, but those states by-and-large already are inclined to do so.  New York Fucking City?  Kalifornia?

They are communist shitholes full of weak, obedient serfs.  And they will follow orders once again.

This lockdown is absolute bullshit that does nothing but harm.

– Wash your hands.
– If you’re sick, stay home (unless you’re sick enough to need to go to the hospital).
– Isolate those who are most at risk (the elderly, those with significant heart or breathing problems). 

Really, you should be doing all of that anyway. If COVID19 gets people actually doing that then that’s a win. Not worth the other nonsense but, “it’s an ill wind” and all that. 

But the rest? Not only useless but actively harmful. First, from the way diseases work, you want the low risk people to get the disease. Get it, get over it, and stop being a risk to everyone else. You want it to spread quickly and thoroughly through the low-risk population. By slowing that, you delay when “herd immunity” is able to protect the higher risk people. And then there’s the other effects of all the restrictions, the effects on the economy. People keep trying to dismiss that as “millionaires profits” but economic damage extends far beyond some millionaire having to find a less expensive brand of champagne. It causes suffering and death for real people.

Poverty and depression kill people just as easily as a virus.  It might not be as fast, but they'll be just as dead.
