Gun rights at the Democratic Debates

So last night, out of some strange illness, I decided to watch the Democratic Debates. I think the only reason that Clinton is better at pandering than Obama is because she has more experience. But, I digress. The question of the 2nd Amendment and the DC Gun ban came up. With Clinton her basic answer was to not interfere. She believes that the 2nd Amendment is of consequence, but that local areas should be able to restrict it to "what works for them".

Isn't that nice....

Obama tried to give the same answer, but he fell short. I have no doubt in my mind that that man would strip this country of guns faster than you can say Pinocchio. Then again, I have no doubt that it would not take long for him to commit treason if elected.

This all really sickens me. It is wrong and most people know it. Unfortunately, as has been stated before, idiots are allowed to vote in the same election as smart people.

I guess we just have to wait for the Supreme Court to make up their minds....

And I'm supposed to respect this religion because WHY?

Eight-Year-Old Girl Divorces Husband From Arranged Marriage

An eight-year-old Yemeni girl was granted a divorce from an arranged marriage she was forced into in just the second grade.

Nojud Mohammed Ali said she was forced to marry under an agreement reached between her unemployed father and 28-year-old former husband, Faez Ali Thameur, earlier this year, AFP reported.

Thameur told a judge that he married Nojud with her consent and her parents', and that the marriage "was consummated, but I did not beat her."
A FATHER marries off his eight year old daughter. Yeah, that's love.

And a 28-year old man has sex with an eight year old girl. In THIS country we have a name for guys like that:

"Targets."

Despite all their lofty yet caustic rhetoric about how they are the Master Race, and we're all just infidels, and Islam is so holy white and pure, Islamic societies around the world allow, condone, permit, promote and protect by law this kind of stuff all the time. Not to mention the honor killings if your daughter is raped. Usually raped by Muslim men, I might add. Although, it's not technically rape, since women are chattel and property, and so it's not so much rape as it is using a tool for its intended purpose, right?

I read all about this stuff, the beheadings and the stonings and "honor" killings and pedophile marriages, and you know, it just really doesn't feel like I'M the infidel here.

And these are the people the world is so all in a tizzy that we don't offend. Uh, yeah. Me, I'm thinking that offending these neanderthals ought to be amended to the Consitution as not only an inaliendable right, but as a moral obligation. And of course, by "offend" I mean, "not be afraid to tell the truth about what they really believe and practice."

I'd like to pile on to Mrs Ragin Dave's post:

Let's face it... Thou shalt worship no idols before Barack Hussein Obama.

Obama's newest Quip

appearantly Obama now thinks that everyone that lives in the rural areas is economically disadvantaged, bitter, racists which causes them to cling to God and their firearms.

HMMMMM

" You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothings replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not.
And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

Even Clinton and McCain are using this as ammunition. Does that make them bitter people clinging to their guns.

Male Castration = Good; Guns = Bad

The FemiNazis have no sense of humor:
The punchline to any joke about feminists … [Darleen Click]
A satirical response to a feminist publication at Colorado College has landed the college and two of its students in the middle of a fierce debate over freedom of speech.Chris Robinson and another student at the Colorado Springs institution decided to print “The Monthly Bag” after seeing copies of a feminist and gender studies newsletter, “The Monthly Rag,” in restrooms around campus.

The edition of “The Monthly Rag” that prompted action included an announcement for a talk on feminist pornography, information on gender-bending practices, and a tidbit about a myth involving male castration. According to Robinson, it was representative of what appears every month.

In response, Robinson and a friend created their flier, which provided tips on chainsaw etiquette, detailed a sexual position from Men’s Health magazine and provided trivia about a sniper rifle — what Robinson called information for the stereotypical macho man.Staff members removed The Bag within hours of receiving complaints that the publication was threatening.
Imagine the outrage if the parody was called "The Monthly Rag".

FemiNazis have neither a sense of humor or sense of irony.

Cassy Fiano has more:
Male Castration = Good; Guns = Bad
Academia shows how tolerant it is of opposing viewpoints (read: NOT LIBERAL) yet again, this time at Colorado College. For liberals, when you spout idiotic drivel that falls in line with liberal orthodoxy, it's OK. Anyone offended is supposed to just smile and take it. Lip service is given to "diversity" and "tolerance", but those values only go skin deep with libs. Diverse skin color and gender = good, diverse opinions = bad. And nowhere is this kind of attitude more prevalent than on college campuses.

Feminists especially love this kind of special treatment. They can say anything they want about men; they can slander them, smear them, and paint them all with a very nasty brush just for the "crime" of being men. Valentine's Day is cancelled in favor of "Victory over Violence" Day to somehow fight domestic abuse. Love between a man and a woman is bad; women must stick to the sisterhood! Consensual sex is likened to rape; flirting to sexual harassment. Man-hating has become synonymous with feminism, and the most radical of these harpies usually reside on college campuses. Men, meanwhile, are supposed to just grin and bear it. One joke about women is deemed sexual harassment and can get a male student kicked off campus. Double standard? Nope, it's just "fighting for women's rights".
The volume of mindless hate demonstrated by the FemiNazis does not make their point of view more valid but in fact far less so...

The (very large) quote of the day

But it's too good to let pass without posting it here. Found on Cold Fury is a comment from one Ric Locke. I'm pretty sure I've quoted Mr. Locke before, and reading this quote shows why.

And there you have it, sashal, the core. “Unjust war”.

It is a fundamental law of the Universe that if A = B, it follows absolutely that B = A.

Saddam Hussein and his followers were murderers, rapists, torturers, genocidists, and destroyers of Teh Sacred Environment. If it was unjust to remove them from power, if there is no moral justification for doing so, it follows that Saddam was perfectly within his rights, perfectly justified, in doing those things — and it follows from that that murder, rape, torture, genocide, and the rest are morally neutral, with no moral or ethical weight, to be used when the mood strikes.

Yes, I know you’re going to try to weasel out of that, because you’re confused in your own mind, but you cannot. You have accepted, and declared, an absolutist position: the war was and is unjust with no qualifiers; the war has absolutely no moral justification, full stop, end paragraph, end essay, close discussion. Stopping the poison-gassing of Kurds counts for nothing. Releasing ten thousand people whose mildest suffering at Abu Ghraib was splinters under the fingernails, exhuming bodies buried there so that their relatives and friends had to walk over them in a culture where showing the soles of one’s shoes is a deadly insult, is of zero weight. Not negligible weight, not insufficient weight, zero weight — their suffering and its release counts for nothing. They don’t count as “people” in your estimation; they don’t even count as animals, for whose maltreatment PETA might be willing to call people to account. They are nothing, nonentities, nonexistent. That’s what the absolutist “no moral justification” means. And you claim moral superiority for holding that position.

Furthermore: If A = B, and B = C, then A = C. If Saddam Hussein was perfectly moral, perfectly justified, in using torture at whim — which, despite weaseling and Jesuitry, is precisely what you are declaring — upon what rule of justice or equity do you base denying George Bush the same powers and privileges? Never mind any moral aspect of torture — you have already declared that gassing fifty thousand Kurds, destroying the habitat and livelihood of twice that many Marsh Arabs, flaying people alive, cutting off limbs and sex organs, and similar diversions are absolutely moral, because you declare that there is no moral justification to ending those practices. What you are declaring is that Saddam was superior to Bush in the same existential way that I and my fellows once declared that white people were superior to blacks. And again, you claim moral superiority by virtue of that declaration.

My reaction? F* you and the white horse you rode in on, with your Sword of Absolute Justice. I call you apologist, ally, and accessory to the worst, most offensive betrayers of moral and ethical standards on the planet, and thereby an adopter of their practices; just too finicky and elitist to get your own personal sacred hands dirty, so you appoint deputies to do it for you, and pretend it’s nothing to do with you.

Regards,
Ric

Bam.

How he really thinks

If you haven't seen the latest quote going 'round from Obama, well, wait no longer:

You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not.

And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

Got that? We're all just a bunch of knuckle-dragging simpletons to Obama and his ilk. There is so much wrong with that one statement that I can't put it all into words.

We cling to our guns because fuckwits like Obama would love nothing more than to impose his communist will on this country, and our guns are just one of the checks against that happening. We cling to our faith because we believe in God, and given what the government is trying to do on any given day we need that faith to remember that there IS some good in this world.

We're not anti-immigration, you ass-hatted shit nozzle, we're anti-ILLEGAL immigration, and the fact that you don't recognize that means you're not qualified to be elected to dog catcher, much less leader of the best country in the world.

What a complete and utter dipshit. And his half-assed apology can just be discarded. "Oh, I'm so sorry if I offended anyone." Bullshit, you worthless cock-goblin, you're just sorry that you got caught while you expressed your true opinion of anyone who doesn't sit around reading Marx and expressing their sympathy with "the people". Go piss up a rope, you moronic half-wit.

And by the way....

I didn't blog on the flap about Absolute Vodka, because Dane had done the heavy lifting. But I just thought I might toss out a little something for you:

Luksusowa Vodka.

Folks, vodka is supposed to be made with potatoes. You ever have some vodka and it had a bitter or nasty aftertaste? Yeah. That's GRAIN vodka you're drinking. Skyy, Absolute, Finlandia, even Grey Goose is made with grain.

Luksusowa is made with potatoes. No nasty aftertaste. You chill it right, and you don't even taste it. It's that damn good. And it's not too expensive, either.

So drink something good. If you're going to kill your liver, why not do it with the best stuff you can get?

Still busting my butt

It's been a busy week. Well, let me rephrase that, if I may. It's been a week filled with a whole lot of happy horseshit, which I'm forced to jump through hoops to accomplish. I know that the Army is good at inventing busywork, but this is getting more than a little silly.

But I warned you all weeks ago that my posting was going to be light. Short of going to a public WiFi spot like the coffee shop I'm currently sitting in, I don't have any internet. And I don't have a car, so I only go to the coffee shop when there's someone else who wants to go.

Meh. Four more weeks and I'll be back in Puerto Rico. And hopefully shortly after that, I'll be home for a couple of weeks.

Rockefeller(D) smears the troops

I guess they've been bombing the civilians like Jengis Khan?
Ed Morrissey : Rockefeller: Air Force doesn’t care about humanity
“McCain was a fighter pilot, who dropped laser-guided missiles from 35,000 feet. He was long gone when they hit. What happened when they [the missiles] get to the ground? He doesn’t know. You have to care about the lives of people. McCain never gets into those issues.”
... Rockefeller also sounds an awful lot like Barack Obama, who claimed that the entire strategy in Afghanistan consisted of “just air raiding villages and killing civilians”.
...
What was Rockefeller’s stance on Bill Clinton’s Bosnian intervention, which consisted solely of Air Force strikes?
McCain(D) flew missions prior to the development of laser guided weapons, and before you indulge his non-apology apology you might remember Rockefeller(D) for the leaked memos in which he described his intent to risk American lives, by abusing his authority in the Senate intelligence committee for partisan political gain.

The fact is the elitist prick will let Americans die even as he smears our servicemen as war-criminals.

General Petraeus

Peter Wehner
“We have our teeth in their jugular — and we need to keep them there.” -- General Petraeus on Al Qaeda

While Michael Ledeen warns: The Continuing Iran-American War
General Petraeus quickly and explicitly blamed Iran for the attacks. “The rockets that were launched at the Green Zone… were Iranian-provided, Iranian-made rockets…All of this in complete violation of promises made by President Ahmadinejad and the other most senior Iranian leaders to their Iraqi counterparts.”
...
Similar remarks about the nefarious Iranian role in Iraq came from Petraeus’ former deputy, General Raymond Odierno, just two weeks ago in Washington. He wryly observed that Iranian President Ahmadinejad felt secure in Baghdad because the attacks there were under Iranian guidance and control.

The Shi’ite militias and al Qaeda in are also closely tied to Iran. Many of the news reports wrongly suggest that the Shi’ite insurgents are under the leadership of Moqtadah al Sadr, the son of a murdered leading cleric and for several years the chieftain of the private Mahdi Army, named after the Shi’ite Messiah. He and his troops were famously armed, paid and trained by Iran, and were as feared as al Qaeda, whose late leader, Abu Musab Zarqawi, long operated out of Tehran and worked closely with Hezbollah’s late chief terrorist, Imad Mughniyah.
...
Iran, then, is the common denominator of recent events in Iraq: the mullahs organized the rocket attacks in Baghdad, they have supported al Qaeda in Iraq from the beginning, and they have a major role in the activities of the Shi’ite militias.
...
I think General Petraeus is trying to force the Bush Administration to recognize these hard facts and act accordingly. He is saying that we cannot accomplish our objectives in Iraq without challenging the regime in Tehran.

Iran ramps up production of enriched uranium they don't need for nuclear plants they doesn't have... and Barack Hussein Obama squeals appease:
"Because if Maliki can tolerate as normal neighbor-to-neighbor relations in Iraq, then we should be talking to them, as well. I do not believe we are going to be able to stabilize the position without them."

Now we know why Barack Che' Hussein Obama's "church" publishes articles by Iran's proxy-killers of Hamas.

The Official Car

Of the Democrat American Communist Party 2008 campaign!

Sent to me by Frankly Opinionated. Admit it, that's funny!

Idiots.

Idiots, morons, retards, buffoons, half-wits, and slack-jawed mouth-breathing fucktards.

Legislation against selling, making, hiring or importing samurai swords in England and Wales has come into force.

Those breaking the law face six months in jail and a £5,000 fine. Carrying a sword in public is already illegal.

Exemptions will cover swords which are used for re-enactments or antique weapons kept on display by collectors.

So the gun ban didn't do one thing to stop gun crime, and now they want to ban swords. What's next? A ban on paperclips and rubber bands?

Hey Britain: IT'S NOT GOING TO WORK! Try kicking the criminals ass once in a while instead of busting law abiding citizens who want to protect themselves!

One Week Down

Every day I finish is one day closer to being with my wife again.

By the way, if you're looking for a good coffee shop with WiFi, CoolBeans coffee right next to the University of South Carolina is a nice little place. Watch out for the smoking section. Lots of weird people here on a Sunday.

Day-um!

Between Obama and Hillary, I don't know who I would enjoy taking aim at more during the election campaign. But this just adds a bit more fun to the mix!

Jerry Zeifman, a lifelong Democrat, supervised the work of 27-year-old Hillary Rodham on the committee. Hillary got a job working on the investigation at the behest of her former law professor, Burke Marshall, who was also Sen. Ted Kennedy’s chief counsel in the Chappaquiddick affair. When the investigation was over, Zeifman fired Hillary from the committee staff and refused to give her a letter of recommendation – one of only three people who earned that dubious distinction in Zeifman’s 17-year career.

Why?

“Because she was a liar,” Zeifman said in an interview last week. “She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.”

Well, we know from experience that Hillary has no problems breaking rules. The Clintons were probably the most unethical people to ever live in the White House. We've known that for over a decade. But I just love how the MSM is tearing itself apart trying to boost their particular communist of choice while attacking the other. Every time I see the political news, I want to pop up some popcorn and grab a beer.

Sex Ed in Schools

I keep hearing about sexual education in schools. Now, I'm not going to state my age on the web here, but I was born in *mumblemumble* and went to school in *coughmumble*, and I can't remember being taught to put a condom on a banana at all. Maybe they figured that we were smart enough to figure it out without any help.

Anyways, that being said, I really have to wonder just what the hell they're teaching in school these days.

BAYTOWN, Texas - A 14-year-old girl gave birth in a restroom at her junior high, and the baby boy cried once before she tried to flush him down the toilet, killing him, officials said Thursday.

An autopsy confirmed the baby was alive when born Wednesday at Cedar Bayou Junior High in Baytown, near Houston. The boy was probably full term and cried before the mother, an eighth-grader, tried to flush him, said police Lt. Eric Freed.

The mother was taken to a hospital. People who knew her at school said she wore baggy clothing, and nobody suspected she was pregnant, The Houston Chronicle reported Thursday.

This is so sad on so many levels that I don't know where to begin. A pregnate fourteen-year old? Sad. The fact that the girls friends and classmates didn't know she was pregnate? Sad.

But what is worse is the parents. Did they know she was pregnate? Did they know anything? Did they know what the hell their daughter was doing at school? What she did after school? How the hell did this girl go eight-plus months without anyone finding out? How the hell did she go eight-plus months without getting any help?

I would go on about how this is just another reason to keep your kids out of public schools, but from the sounds of things this girl's parents didn't give a shit one way or another. And that's the saddest part of all.
