Day-um!

Between Obama and Hillary, I don't know who I would enjoy taking aim at more during the election campaign. But this just adds a bit more fun to the mix!

Jerry Zeifman, a lifelong Democrat, supervised the work of 27-year-old Hillary Rodham on the committee. Hillary got a job working on the investigation at the behest of her former law professor, Burke Marshall, who was also Sen. Ted Kennedy’s chief counsel in the Chappaquiddick affair. When the investigation was over, Zeifman fired Hillary from the committee staff and refused to give her a letter of recommendation – one of only three people who earned that dubious distinction in Zeifman’s 17-year career.

Why?

“Because she was a liar,” Zeifman said in an interview last week. “She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.”

Well, we know from experience that Hillary has no problems breaking rules. The Clintons were probably the most unethical people to ever live in the White House. We've known that for over a decade. But I just love how the MSM is tearing itself apart trying to boost their particular communist of choice while attacking the other. Every time I see the political news, I want to pop up some popcorn and grab a beer.

Sex Ed in Schools

I keep hearing about sexual education in schools. Now, I'm not going to state my age on the web here, but I was born in *mumblemumble* and went to school in *coughmumble*, and I can't remember being taught to put a condom on a banana at all. Maybe they figured that we were smart enough to figure it out without any help.

Anyways, that being said, I really have to wonder just what the hell they're teaching in school these days.

BAYTOWN, Texas - A 14-year-old girl gave birth in a restroom at her junior high, and the baby boy cried once before she tried to flush him down the toilet, killing him, officials said Thursday.

An autopsy confirmed the baby was alive when born Wednesday at Cedar Bayou Junior High in Baytown, near Houston. The boy was probably full term and cried before the mother, an eighth-grader, tried to flush him, said police Lt. Eric Freed.

The mother was taken to a hospital. People who knew her at school said she wore baggy clothing, and nobody suspected she was pregnant, The Houston Chronicle reported Thursday.

This is so sad on so many levels that I don't know where to begin. A pregnate fourteen-year old? Sad. The fact that the girls friends and classmates didn't know she was pregnate? Sad.

But what is worse is the parents. Did they know she was pregnate? Did they know anything? Did they know what the hell their daughter was doing at school? What she did after school? How the hell did this girl go eight-plus months without anyone finding out? How the hell did she go eight-plus months without getting any help?

I would go on about how this is just another reason to keep your kids out of public schools, but from the sounds of things this girl's parents didn't give a shit one way or another. And that's the saddest part of all.

Got an email today

And since I don't have much time to post anything, I'm just going to copy it. The subject line: What costs more than the Iraq War every year?

I hope the following 14 reasons are forwarded over and over again until they are read so many times that the reader gets sick of reading them. I have included the URL's for verification of the following facts:
1. $11 Billion to $22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens each year.
http://tinyurl.com/zob77

2. $2.2 Billion dollars a year is spent on food assistance programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches for illegal aliens.
http://www.cis.org/articles/2004/fiscalexec.html

3. $2.5 Billion dollars a year is spent on Medicaid for illegal aliens.
http://www.cis.org/articles/2004/fiscalexec.html

4. $12 Billion dollars a year is spent on primary and secondary school education for children here illegally and they cannot speak a word of English!
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.0.html

5. $17 Billion dollars a year is spent for education for the American-born children of illegal aliens, known as anchor babies.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

6. $3 Million Dollars a DAY is spent to incarcerate illegal aliens.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

7. 30% percent of all Federal Prison inmates are illegal aliens.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

8. $90 Billion Dollars a year is spent on illegal aliens for Welfare and Social Services by the American taxpayers.
http://premium.cnn.com/TRANSCIPTS/0610/29/ldt.01.html

9. $200 Billion Dollars a year in suppressed American wages are caused by the illegal aliens.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

10. The illegal aliens in the United States have a crime rate that's two-and-a-half times that of white non-illegal aliens. In particular, their children, are going to make a huge additional crime problem in the US.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0606/12/ldt.01.html

11. During the year of 2005 there were 4 to 10 MILLION illegal aliens that crossed our Southern Border also, as many as 19,500 illegal aliens from Terrorist Countries. Millions of pounds of drugs, cocaine, meth, ###### and marijuana, crossed into the U. S from the Southern border. Homeland Security Report.
http://tinyurl.com/t9sht

12. The National Policy Institute, 'estimated that the total cost of mass deportation would be between $206 and $230 billion or an average cost of between $41 and $46 billion annually over a five year period.' (pdf file)
http://www.nationalpolicyinstitute.org/pdf/deportation.pdf

13. In 2006 illegal aliens sent home $45 BILLION in remittances back to their countries of origin.
http://www.rense.com/general75/niht.htm

14. 'The Dark Side of Illegal Immigration: Nearly One Million Sex Crimes Committed by Illegal Immigrants In The United States '.
http://www.drdsk.com/articleshtml

Total cost is a whooping... $338.3 BILLION A YEAR!!!

Yet the Left wants to stop killing terrorist assholes, and let millions more illegal aliens into this country.

Oh, and by the way, yes I'm in class, yes I'm busy as hell, and yes I have limited time on the computer. And even less time with internet access. That's life in the Army. I'll post when I can. See ya when I see ya!

Media darling and Iranian puppet...

...Muqtada al Sadr got his ass kicked

Bill Roggio : Sadr orders followers to end fighting
Six days after the Iraqi government launched Operation Knights’ Charge in Basrah against the Mahdi Army and other Iranian-backed Shia terror groups, Muqtada al Sadr, the Leader of the Mahdi Army, has called for his fighters to lay down their weapons and cooperate with Iraqi security forces. Sadr’s call for an end to the fighting comes as his Mahdi Army has taken serious losses since the operation began. . . . Since the fighting began on Tuesday 358 Mahdi Army fighters were killed, 531 were wounded, 343 were captured, and 30 surrendered. The US and Iraqi security forces have killed 125 Mahdi Army fighters in Baghdad alone, while Iraqi security forces have killed 140 Mahdi fighters in Basra.

Ed Morrissey : Remind me again — who’s losing in Basra?
Did our media give anyone this context? No. They reported it as some kind of spontaneous eruption of rebellion without noting at all that a nation can hardly be considered sovereign while its own security forces cannot enter a large swath of its own territory. And in the usual defeatist tone, they reported that our mission in Iraq had failed without waiting to see what the outcome of the battle would be.
29Victor, comments at HotAir
The speed at which the MSM went from ignoring Iraq to proclaiming that we were loosing was actually pretty impressive. I did’t know they could move that fast any more. But when they had to back up their narrative of our loss with facts like “230 people have died in Iraq because of this latest battle” (not saying where those 230 people were or which side they were on) I knew that the good guys were winning.
Bill Roggio : In Pictures: Iranian munitions seized in Iraq
Iran established the Ramazan Corps in western Iran to manage the covert war inside Iraq in early 2003. The Ramazan Corps is an arm of Qods Force, the special operations branch of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps. The Ramazan Corps is responsible for smuggling weapons and cash into the Mahdi Army and the Special Groups terror cells, as well as recruiting and training Iraqi operatives.
Dean’s World : Sadr’s Triumphant Surrender
The media appear to be unanimous: by getting his butt kicked, surrendering control of Basra, and being mocked as an Iranian catspaw Sadr has… succeeded.
Yes, Muqtada al Sadr Just got back from sucking up to his masters in Iran.

Van Helsing Hosts 'Fitna'

Geert Wilders' Fitna (Video)!

Watch it... then...

Diana West : Pre-emptive rage
'''just the thought of "Fitna" has Europe in upheaval, cowering before widely anticipated Islamic outrage expected to range from diplomatic huff, to economic boycott, to rioting, even bloodshed, over this still unseen ten-minute film.

Such mass psychosis has erupted before — Satanic Verses Rage, Koran Rage, Cartoon Rage, Pope Rage, even Teddy Bear Rage. But never has an Islamic "rage" begun to build without actual cause. For the first time, we are seeing rage preparations and precautions before "offense" has been given or taken.

In other words, Pre-Emptive Rage is something new. It works like this: Because the Wilders film is expected to criticize Islam, Muslims who brook no religious criticism are expected to freak out. Therefore — just as if this were the most normal, everyday, ordinary state of affairs — Muslims and Europeans are making their respective arrangements.
...
...multiculti Europeans and perpetually aggrieved Muslims are finding common ground.
...
...as reported by Dutch blogger Klein Verzet, the grand mufti of Syria, Ahmad Badr Al-Din Hassoun, admonishes the European Parliament about potential film-related "riots, bloodshed and violence" for which "Wilders will be responsible." And thus Dutch Prime Minister Jan Balkenende says exactly the same thing.

Michelle Malkin : Fitna follow-up: The usual suspects do the usual thing; Update: Fitna pulled from Liveleak; “This is a sad day for freedom of speech on the net…”
Pulled from Liveleak...

LadyHawk : Fitna Fallout
It’s rare to hear them denouncing ongoing terrorism done in the name of Islam by jihadis, whether it is in Afghanistan, Thailand, Philippines, or Israel. Where are the calls for tolerance when the jihadis are busy blowing up schools, businesses, rioting, and otherwise seeking to kill non Muslims and those who are not strict adherents to their brand of Islam?

Robert Spencer : Iran: Fitna "heinous, blasphemous, and un-Islamic" -- and Eurodhimmis should ban it
Mind you, the European Union has never, ever said anything like that regarding attacks on Christianity. The point is not just the double standard; it is that they are allowing violent intimidation to succeed, and that will only lead to more violent intimidation.

Unsurprisingly : UN's Ban Ki-moon Calls for 'Fitna' to Be Censored
United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon comes out strongly against free expression.

Yet United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, or the UN, hasn't condemned suicide bombings targeting Jewish civilians, or even Al-Qaeda. They don't even have an official definition of "terrorist" yet they will enthusiastically condemn a film that features passages from the Quran, alongside the violent consequences clearly associated with that graphic advocacy... they will condemn a film that exposes the hate as "hate speech".

Will any Muslim "scholars" care to defend those passages? [birds chirping]

No one is suppressing pictures of Jesus with violence...

The 3 stooges bag man met with Hillary(D)

"Baghdad" Jim McDermott(D) and his fellow useful idiots were on Saddam's dime as they took sides... against America: Saddam paid for 2002 Congressional junket to Baghdad
Stephen F. Hayes reported "Baghdad" Jim McDermott(D) actually said, after 12 years of sanctions, that we should trust Saddam and that Bush is a liar, even as Congress voted overwhelmingly for the use of military force to execute the Clinton administration's policy of regime change.
trust Saddam
“I think the president would mislead the American people.”
“I think you have to take the Iraqis on their face value.”
All while "Baghdad" Jim McDermott(D) was taking money from Saddam's agent Al-Hanooti's and lying about it.
Well... Steven Emerson has Exclusive Photos Show Al-Hanooti's Political Clout, Pictures with the three stooges, Hillary Clinton(D), Al Gore(D) and Syrian President Bashar Assad.

But take a deep breath...
Allahpundit

In a 1997 interview with this reporter, Muthanna Hanooti said that at the meeting, Mrs. Clinton was “very receptive” to his request for an easing of the American sanctions on Iraq that were in place at the time. He said Mrs. Clinton “passed a message to the State Department” about the need to implement the oil-for-food deal, which was intended to allow Saddam to sell billions of dollars’ worth of oil to pay for food for Iraqi citizens…

[T]o reporters on the foreign policy beat in Washington at the time and to those active in the Iraqi opposition to Saddam, it was clear whose agenda was being advanced. The news article in 1997, published in the Forward, that described Mrs. Clinton’s involvement with Mr. Hanooti began: “The American-led blockade of Iraq is crumbling, following an intensive, domestic lobbying effort that has involved Rep. David Bonior and Senator Abraham — and, according to some sources, Hillary Rodham Clinton.”

So I guess the Clinton(D) administration didn't really believe in regime change did they?

Now, why does this matter beyond exposing the usual hypocrisy of the (D)emocrats? Well, because Saddam supported terrorism, via Noam Sayin' at LGF:

1. U.S. Grand Jury Indictment of Osama bin Laden, dated November 6, 1998: Paragraph 4. “In addition, al Qaeda reached an understanding with the government of Iraq that al Qaeda would not work against that government and that on particular projects, specifically including weapons development, al Qaeda would work cooperatively with the Government of Iraq.”

President Bush listed 22 reasons to take out Saddam in his State of the Union Address. Yet with 400 tons, that's Four Hundred TONS of yellow cake uranium siezed, 1-1/2 tons of uranium that was enriched beyond the level required for fuel for nuclear plants Saddam didn't even have, with all of his Nuclear-Chemical-Biological scientists having fled the country, the (D)emocrats would have you believe there were no WMDs. Really? FARC has 66 pounds. Where did that come from?

Leavin'...... On a jet plane.....

I'm heading out to school today. Six weeks of instruction, yee-haw. Given that I will be training in the same class as junior enlisted, given that I'm an NCO, and given that school cadre typically use NCO's in school to deal with the junior enlisted, I plan on having about five minutes of free time until I graduate. I will post when I can, but I don't even know if I will have internet access in the billets.

So in the meantime, feel free to make use of the blogroll. DANE will post every now and then, but for the most part don't expect anything much from the 'ol blog for a while.

See you later.

Minor tweaks

I'm doing a few things to the blog in preparation for my little "vacation". Added Cold Fury to the blogroll under the AAA section. Did a few other things. I figure traffic is going to drop when I'm not posting on a daily basis, and I'm OK with that.

In the same vein, are there any of my readers from South Carolina? It looks like I'm going to be there for six weeks. Any suggestions on things to do or see in the Columbia area?

Words fail me

Via Insty, I found this pile of steaming excretement:

A hard drive recovered from the computer of a killed Colombian guerrilla has offered more insights into the opposition of House Democrats to the U.S.-Colombia Free Trade Agreement.

A military strike three weeks ago killed RaĆŗl Reyes, No. 2 in command of the FARC, Colombia's most notorious terrorist group. The Reyes hard drive reveals an ardent effort to do business directly with the FARC by Congressman James McGovern (D., Mass.), a leading opponent of the free-trade deal. Mr. McGovern has been working with an American go-between, who has been offering the rebels help in undermining Colombia's elected and popular government.

Mr. McGovern's press office says the Congressman is merely working at the behest of families whose relatives are held as FARC kidnap hostages. However, his go-between's letters reveal more than routine intervention. The intervenor with the FARC is James C. Jones, who the Congressman's office says is a "development expert and a former consultant to the United Nations." Accounts of Mr. Jones's exchanges with the FARC appeared in Colombia's Semana magazine on March 15. This Mr. Jones should not be confused with the former Congressman and ambassador to Mexico of the same name from Oklahoma.

"Receive my warm greetings, as always, from Washington," Mr. Jones began in a letter to the rebels last fall. "The big news is that I spoke for several hours with the Democratic Congressman James McGovern. In the meeting we had the opportunity to exchange some ideas that will be, I believe, of interest to the FARC-EP [popular army]."

Just.... what the hell.... fucking traitors!

Mr. Jones added that "a fundamental problem is that the FARC does not have, strategically, a spokesman that can communicate directly with persons of influence in my country like Mr. McGovern." Semana reports that in the documents Mr. Jones "rules himself out as the spokesman but offers himself as a 'bridge' of communication between the FARC and the congressman." Semana says when it spoke with Mr. Jones, he verified the letter and explained that "he made the offer because the guerrillas need interlocutors if they want to achieve peace and that it is a mistake to isolate them."

But communications among FARC rebels suggest the goal was to isolate Colombia's government. A letter that Reyes wrote to top FARC commander Manuel Marulanda on October 26 reads: "According to [Jones's] viewpoint, [President Ɓlvaro] Uribe is increasingly discredited in the U.S. . . He believes that the safe haven [for the rebels] in the counties can be had for reasons mentioned. Congressional Democrats have invited him to Washington to talk about the Colombian crisis in which the principal theme is the swap."

Semana reports that Mr. Jones made some proposals to the FARC, including a Caracas meeting with representatives of Venezuela, Colombia, the FARC, other South American countries, U.S. Congressmen and the Catholic Church. "It would be almost impossible for Uribe to reject such a meeting," Mr. Jones wrote, "without burning himself a lot, nationally and internationally. If he persists in being against it, I have understood that there are ways to pressure him from my country [the U.S.]."

So, for DEMOCRAT CONGRESSMAN McGovern, an anti-terror, anti-drug, anti-Marxist President of Columbia doesn't deserve a fair shake. But a Marxist, drug-running, kidnapping, murdering group of thugs trying to overthrow an elected government? Hey, a DEMOCRAT CONGRESSMAN can do business with them!

Fucking traitors!

Pending cases hinged on the 2nd Amendment

I would like to thank "the Smallest Minority" for leading me in the direction of "Sentencing Law and Policy" This article discusses the Justice Departments appeal in U.S. v. Hayes, a case that I believe is based on the Lautenberg Amendment, and how its outcome could affect, or be affected by Heller v. D.C.

It is a short but interesting read that I highly suggest!

Horry Clap!

As late as last week, I was being told that I wouldn't be going to a certain Army school until May or June. Yesterday I got a call, and was told "You report Friday."

I'm currently going insane. The dog is freaking out. And my wife, God bless her, is patiently dealing with me running around packing.

"HONEY! WHERE ARE MY BLACK GLOVES?!?!?!?!"

"You put them in your black dress coat, dear."

"HONEY! WHERE ARE MY DRESS SOCKS?!?!?!?!"

"I put them on the bed, dear."

"HONEY, I NEED FOUR SETS OF ACU'S! WHERE'S MY FOURTH SET OF ACU'S?!?!?!?!"

"They're in the wash, dear. They were dirty."

I figure at about midnight she's just going to club me over the head and put me in bed. And by the way, you can consider this your light posting alert for the next six weeks.

UPDATE: The wife just read this post, and asked "What time am I supposed to club you over the head?"

Me: "Midnight"

My dear sweet wife who I couldn't live without: "OK. Let the midnight clubbings begin!"

I guess $5000 doesn't buy much these days

Well, Eliot Spitzer must be a bigger idiot than I previously thought. Let's say you're the gov of New York. Let's say you're into hookers. Let's say you've got five large in your pocket, plus a horrible blue-steeler that the wife just hasn't been able to satisfy. Who do you call for?

NOT SAFE FOR WORK! Just in case you were wondering.

Her?

Just for those who don't want to click the link, and I don't blame you, it's a washed-up floozy with fake boobs and no muscle tone what so ever. The only workout she ever gets is on her back.

Dude. Seriously. DOOD! Five large for THAT?!

If I were into hookers, which I'm not, for five thousand dollars I would expect the body of Angelina Jolie, the voice of Charlotte Church, and the morals of.... well, let's not go there. Safe to say, I'm married to a wonderful wife who gives me better.... well, I'd better not go there either. But anyways, five thousand dollars an hour for THAT?

Spitzer is a retard. Imagine how that's going to go down in history. "Oh yeah, I got busted banging a hooker who's gone down more than the Titanic. Her tits are as fake as Micheal Jackon's face! She's been stuffed more than a Thanksgiving turkey, and I paid FIVE GRAND for it! Yay me!" Idiot. Poltroon. Moron. Shithead.

You can thank Ace of Spades for the link, although "thank" is not quite the word I would use. Somehow, thanking somebody for causing projectile vomiting doesn't cross my mind.

The Assault Continues

While it seems that Islam is still off limits for people to criticize, Christianity is an acceptable target. As Instapundit says, "If people did this kind of thing at a mosque it would be international news, and evidence of irredeemable hatred and bigotry . . . ."

Free Trade?

Helping out our friends? Supporting freedom in South America? You would think that's a good idea, right? The Democrat American Communist Party doesn't think so. They're about to slam the door in the face of a country that wants to be an ally of the USA.

Now I'm no expert on Columbia, but unlike many people in the Democrat American Communist Party, I've actually been there. I've walked around BogotĆ”. I've spoken with people there, seen a few sights, and felt just a teeny little bit of the culture. Does Columbia have a few problems? Yes. But they don't have any problem that can't be worked through. They're not a basket case. They're a growing country that is struggling to control narco-terrorists that are funded by Marxist idiots from outside their borders.

You would think that helping Columbia combat the drug-runners would be an advantage to the USA, right? You would think that a free, open market in South America would be a good thing, right? You would think that having friends, not just allies but FRIENDS in this world would be a good thing, right?

So why the hell are the Democrat American Communist Party leadership snubbing Colombian President Uribe? We've had a parade of Leftists go down to give Venezuela's Chavez a knob-job while he spouts off anti-American rhetoric, but nobody seems to have time to spare to shake the hand of someone who wants to be an ally? If that doesn't prove how unfit the Left is to lead this country, I don't know what can.

Happy Easter

Today is the day when Christians remember that Christ died for our sins, to redeem us and bring us salvation.

So in that vein, I bring you another story of a man who died for others. Micheal A. Monsoor.

Holed up on the rooftop of a Ramadi house, Master-at-Arms 2nd Class (SEAL) Michael A. Monsoor and three fellow SEAL snipers were pulling overwatch duty for a ground security element Sept. 29, 2006, when an enemy grenade landed nearby.

Monsoor, a 25-year-old member of SEAL Team 3 from Garden Grove, Calif., instantly smothered the grenade with his body. The blast killed him, but his actions, officials said at the time, saved the men on the rooftop.

Now, Monsoor is set to become the first SEAL to receive the Medal of Honor for valor in the Iraq war. He will be only the fifth SEAL to be honored with the nation’s highest award for combat heroism.

A Defense Department official confirmed the pending award, which will be presented to his family.

Minn. Star Trib Publishes Help Wanted Ad For Anti-Military Story

Typical for the Strib:
This is really taking their quest to find stories that makes victims out of members of the U.S. military to the farthest degree! The Minneapolis Star-Tribune is apparently now resorting to advertising to dredge up women in the military “whose marriage is ending” for a story they want to write. There is really only one reason they’d want such examples and that is so that they can show that the military is hard on women so as to show the military in a bad light.

Dood!

I'm sure people have already seen this, but it needs to be seen again!

Just when liberals thought it was safe to start identifying themselves as such, an acclaimed, veteran psychiatrist is making the case that the ideology motivating them is actually a mental disorder. “Based on strikingly irrational beliefs and emotions, modern liberals relentlessly undermine the most important principles on which our freedoms were founded,” says Dr. Lyle Rossiter, author of the new book, “The Liberal Mind: The Psychological Causes of Political Madness."

"Like spoiled, angry children, they rebel against the normal responsibilities of adulthood and demand that a parental government meet their needs from cradle to grave… The roots of liberalism – and its associated madness – can be clearly identified by understanding how children develop from infancy to adulthood and how distorted development produces the irrational beliefs of the liberal mind… When the modern liberal mind whines about imaginary victims, rages against imaginary villains and seeks above all else to run the lives of persons competent to run their own lives, the neurosis of the liberal mind becomes painfully obvious."

A-yup. There's that old quote "Conservatives think liberals are stupid. Liberals think Conservatives are evil." I'm not so sure that I agree with that quote anymore. At this point, I'm beginning to think that the Far Left is not so much stupid as it is insane.

Found at KisP.

Next up in California

A special badge that gun owners will be forced to wear to identify them as such. Phil has a link to a bill that the California state legislature is considering.

On Tuesday, April 8, the Assembly Public Safety Committee will consider legislation that would require gun owners to obtain a “permit-to-purchase” before buying handgun ammunition.

Introduced by State Assembly Member Kevin De Leon (D-45), Assembly Bill 2062 puts ammunition sales in the crosshairs. AB2062 would require that law-abiding gun owners obtain a permit to buy handgun ammunition and would impose severe restrictions on the private transfers of handgun ammunition. Applicants for a “permit-to-purchase” would be required to submit to a background check, pay a $35 fee, and wait as long as 30 days to receive the permit.

Doesn't that make you feel safe? No? Why not? Oh, because criminals don't bother with actually following laws? They get their ammo anyway without a stinking permit? What a shock!

Under AB2062, it would be unlawful to privately transfer more than 50 rounds of ammunition per month, even between family and friends, unless you are registered as a “handgun ammunition vendor” in the Department of Justice’s database. Ammunition retailers would have to be licensed and store ammunition in such a manner that it would be inaccessible to purchasers. The bill would also require vendors to keep a record of the transaction including the ammunition buyer’s name, driver’s license, the quantity, caliber and type of ammunition purchased, and right thumbprint, which would be submitted to the Department of Justice or the number of his handgun ammunition purchase permit. Vendors would be required to contact the purchase permit database, to verify the validity of a permit before completing a sale. All ammunition sales in the State of California would be subject to a $3 per transaction tax. Lastly, mail order ammunition sales would be prohibited.

So, under this bill, if I gave my wife 100 rounds of ammo to go to the range...... I'd be a criminal. 100 rounds is two boxes, folks. That's a decent amount to practice with. The Kalifornia state gummint is just showing it's totalitarian roots, as all Democrat American Communist Party controlled legislatures do in the end. As old Rodger said, "A Socialist is only a Communist without a gun." The policies and laws advocated for by the Left are totalitarian in nature, with the end result being citizens converted into subjects to be ruled over by the elite few who think they know what's good for you.

What, you think I'm kidding? Then please explain the overwhelming amount of nanny-state laws and government control in areas where the Democrat American Communist Party rules unopposed. California. New York City, and I don't give a shit what Nanny Bloomberg calls himself, he's a totalitarian. The Republicans need to kick his ass to the curb. That they haven't done so already shows the depths to which the GOP has sunk. Boston, MA. San Francisco is a petri dish of Leftist ideologies. You want to see what the Left will do when they grab power? Just look at the places they already have the power, and see if you want that where YOU live. Do you want higher taxes? Do you want gun control? Do you want the government to have more and more control over your daily life? What you do and where you do it? Just let the Left gain power, and *poof* your personal freedoms can be gone tomorrow!

And lest anyone think that totalitarians can only be found in the Democrat American Communist Party, think again. A quick scan of the GOP can yield a hoard of totalitarian jerks who belong to the GOP for political convenience; i.e. they couldn't get elected as a Dem, so they call themselves Republicans to get on the ticket. Nanny Bloomberg is the perfect example. Lincoln Chafee was another good example. Arlen Specter from PA. The list goes on. And the GOP accepts these totalitarian assholes for political benefit as well, which just means that the GOP is as corrupt as the Donks.

Remember folks, "POLITICS" is a conglomeration of two words - POLI, from Greek, meaning "many", and TICKS, from English, meaning "blood sucking parasites". Mash them together, and you get POLITICS, meaning "many blood sucking parasites". There's your language lesson for today. You're welcome.
