The Army is tossing its mandate for potential recruits to have a high school diploma or GED certificate to enlist in the service, in one of the most dramatic moves yet in the escalating recruiting crisis hitting the entire Defense Department.
Gosh, I wonder why they would do that?
The Army and its sister services have scrambled this year, offering increasingly generous benefits and policy tweaks in an effort to improve recruiting numbers. The Army has hit 40% of its recruiting goals this year, with the struggle to fill the ranks seemingly so grim the Defense Department reduced its planned total force size because prior recruiting goals were out of reach.
Huh. It turns out that turning a military branch into a social experiment full of trannies and HIV-positive gay men while requiring a jab that does nothing but increase your chances of getting the Rona, cancer and infertility would have a negative impact on bringing new people into the force.
Just who the fuck did these people think are joining the military anyways? Just another example of how Lloyd Austin is a pathetic fucking idiot who couldn't lead a platoon of infantry into a strip club that was serving free beer. Gah. Well, my blood pressure is up this morning. At least there's some hope for the youth of America, as they see what this illegitimate junta is offering and they're saying "Nah, we're good."

When I went in the Navy in 73 I could not believe the lack of intelligence or "larnin". Many could not speak in complete sentences. Many have the IQ of a houseplant but, Uncle Sam decided they were good enough.
Guess things have not changed all that much.
BTW, I was discharged for medical reasons after 3 months. Oh how my life would have been different if I could have stayed in. Given what you are experiencing however, maybe not?
Please note that as the Army prepares for McNamara's Morons (version 2), they are also in the finial stages of kicking out well qualified members for daring to refuse the clot shot.

Yep. About 40,000 troops just in the National Guard alone. I don't have the total USAR numbers yet, but depending on which command it is it's between 5% and 30% of troop strength.
