So Larry King died

And I've seen some people weeping and wailing and gnashing their teeth.

Dude was 87.  What the hell did you think happens to people, folks?  Yes, he was famous.  Had a TV show.  And he got old, and he died, which is what happens to people.  Why the hell do random people freak the hell out whenever some celebrity dies?  I'm not saying I'm happy about it, I'm saying that he was an old man and old men die.

When my father kicks the bucket, I'm going to be weeping and wailing, but he's MY FATHER, not some celebrity that I never met.

I guess I just don't get it.  "OH, HOW HORRIBLE!  OH, THE HUMANITY!  A CELEBRITY HAS DIED!"  Yeah.  They do that.  Larry King happened to live a lot longer than most celebrities, because he wasn't some crackhead pedo like a huge chunk of them are.  He had a show on CNN back when CNN actually cared about objective reporting, so that should tell you just how long ago that was.

Folks, Old Men die.  We all do.  None of us make it out of here alive.

Young men die, too. My father died at 65. Didn't see the world stopping for his funeral.

And, even worse, celebrities who self-slab by stupidity, like drugs or booze or bad lifestyle. Amy Whinehouse? Who cares, she only went to rehab like 35 friggin times before self-slabbing.

Show me a celebrity who dies while saving a child, or something equally heroic, yes, I'll mourn the passing of someone who's spirit exceeded their body.

Else? Who cares that much. Sportsmoneyball player dies... So? Some feckless politico dies and you look at me in a bad way because I'm cheering?

etc...

I know this makes me a poor Catholic, but I'll be throwing a party when a number of people finally shuffle off this mortal coil and go to hell.

For some strange reason sports and entertainment lives are apparently more relevant. The average person , who in most cases did more to help the world, nothing.
The covid fraud destroyed funerals for good people and celebrated the questionable.
