Only a total rank tool would poopoo the notion that a White House official leaked the name of an undercover CIA agent for political payback. The notion is really kind of disgusting.

But have you noted that the same people getting most upset are the same ones who think that "the people have a right to know" what is going on in Iraq and Afghanistan? The same press who used to pressure Schwartzkopf for troop deployment information are now aghast that one name got named.
