I think the way the french did it way back in the day might be the way to go here. it can be used over and over again. then afterwards we get to put all their heads on pikes and other places as a reminder to others as well. or maybe hand them out as gifts to people who where helpful in dragging them there ?

Why waste good lumber? There are LOTS of trees and lamp-posts!
