Here it comes, folks

The Army is getting set to kick out unvaxxed Soldiers.  The Marines have already gotten started.

As of January 26, 3,350 active-duty soldiers have declined to receive the vaccine, and 3,619 have requested exemptions for religious or medical reasons. Not a single religious exemption has been granted thus far, and only six permanent medical exemptions have been.

Army Secretary Christine Wormuth said in a statement alongside the directive that the unvaxxed within the ranks “present risk to the force and jeopardize readiness.”

The Active Duty troops who are refusing are a much smaller percentage than the Reserve or Guard.  When you grab some Specialist with a wife and kids and tell him that you're going to fire him from the only job he's ever known unless he submits to the jab, you can get him to knuckle under.  But the Reserves and Guard?

Dude, those people HAVE full time jobs.  The military is what they do because they want to serve.  It an't paying the rent.  It ain't putting food on the table.

And so I'm dropping my retirement paperwork, because we all know that my accommodation is going to get refused because the jab mandate is political and not based on Soldier's heath at all.  And that's exactly what I say.  You can see the leadership and the officers and Sergeant Majors all shift in their seats when I say that, because they fucking know it's true.  I had one officer try to insist that the jab was for the good of the Army, and I pointed out that the last drill we had, about half the Soldiers, the FULLY VACCINATED SOLDIERS, were home sick with the Kung Flu.  Tell me again about how this is for my own good?  "Oh, but you won't get as sick if you're vaccinated!"  And according to the doctors from South Africa, where Omicron came from, if you catch it it's like a mild cold, so it's not the vaccines doing a damn bit of good it's a virus that is far less lethal than the original variant.  And this same officer tried to still push the jab bullshit, and I simply said. "Let's do this.  You bring your data, and I'll bring the data from South Africa, and let's compare it to see which one is holding true."

That shut them up pretty quickly, because other than bullshit statement from the same politicians and bureaucrats who have lied every step of the way, they don't actually have any data that proves the jab does a fucking thing to keep you out of hospitals.  "Oh, but the CDC says!"  Yeah, and the CDC also told you to wear a mask even though their own tests didn't prove one damn thing about the cloth face diapers you were forced to wear.

So back to this junta kicking out the un-jabbed troops.  They're going to lose a very small percentage of the Active Duty.  They're going to lose a much larger percentage of the Guard and Reserves.  And they're going to have a much smaller pool of people who recruit from.

Bad times coming, folks.

That "religious exemption" process requires that a pro forma denial letter be drafted, then reviewed (and subsequently signed off on) by three levels in the chain of command, EVEN BEFORE THE EXEMPTION REQUEST LETTER GETS READ. No details of WHY the request is being made, or any of the details of the religious beliefs being violated, are taken into account before that drafting and three-stage review is already completed. (It's a maximum of ten steps to go from rawest recruit with the ink still wet on the enlistment contract to National Command Authority.)

Yet, they refuse to release details on any reasoning behind the so-far-unanimous denials, "because others are still being processed" and it might "corrupt the system".

Time to actively and vociferously discourage young people from joining any branch of the military.

The military leadership is increasingly at odds with mainstream culture and the U.S. Constitution. It is obvious that they see enlisted men and women as commodities rather than countrymen.

Enlistment should not be enslavement.

Drum - there's not a single person in my unit who expects their accommodation to be granted. We can all read the tea leaves here.

Anon - I'm actually doing that. Until this mandate is lifted, I cannot in good conscience recommend that anyone join the military. There's plenty of other opportunities out there for young kids right out of high school to learn skills and make money. You don't need to be a guinea pig for the US Government.
