My bullshit detector isn't as finely tuned as Nitzakhon's, but it's been pinging like crazy during this whole "pandemic".
When Covid first hit our shores I, too, was terrified. I wore N95 masks – unavailable in stores but prepper-me already had a supply – and gloves, and a jacket, and sanitized like crazy… and and and. But then the small tells started to pile up. For example:

Good post - I agree with this 1000%. My dear wife is a bullshit detector and can tell liars from a distance. Don't know how or where she got the ability but, she is very good at it.
