Hey, where'd all my money go?

Just keep this in mind while you're wondering where your paycheck went to - the rise of cost in food isn't counted into the "official" inflation rate.

And the cost of food is going sky high.

Yeah, I've never understood what exactly it is that they do use...it isn't food or fuel. Those two are kinda major to the cost of "living"

It's all part of the lies, damned lies and statistics of the government. By taking away food and fuel from the inflation figures, the government can say "Look! Everything is fine!"

Just like removing all the people who can't find work (aka the unemployed) from the unemployment rolls after a certain period of time makes the official "unemployment" rate go down. Those people are still unemployed, but they don't matter to the bean counters.
