Cloth masks do little to prevent the spread of COVID-19, or other airborne diseases, a new study finds.
Researchers from the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom found that 90 percent of particles could get through cloth masks, making them effectively useless during the pandemic.
You want to avoid getting sick? Wash your hands. Stop touching your face. Wash your hands again. Get outside into the sunshine. Lose some weight. Get fresh air, not recycled indoor air. Wash your hands again.
These fucking masks are pathetic and worthless and THEY ALWAYS HAVE BEEN. WE HAVE KNOWN THIS FOR DECADES.

It took nearly two years, but the “public health experts” are finally admitting what industrial hygienists knew from day one: Masks do not work against airborne viruses. Yet rather than immediately remove these draconian restrictions – including masking 2-year-olds on airplanes and schoolchildren for hours on end in many states – they are seamlessly gliding into the new position of promoting N95 respirators. Following the inveterate patterns of the past two years, they use the failure of their first position to their advantage to further panic people into blindly following their next recommendation ... until that becomes a mandate as well.

This past September, my wife and I attended The Eastern States Exposition (aka The Big "E"). Masks were required per the city of West Springfield inside the buildings. Most people (us included) totally ignored the ordinance, and no one had one on outside. Except for this one older couple... outside, by themselves, sitting on a bench, both wearing cloth masks emblazoned with the Biden/Harris campaign logo. Talk about political virtue signalling! I wanted to get a photo to post on my blog to make fun of them, but there was no way to sneak one, and I certainly did not want to interact with them.
