I got to go motorcycle riding yesterday

It was sunny, in the high 40's, and perfect for riding.

This morning I woke up to sleet hitting my window.

I believe they call that a "wintery mix".  Otherwise known as every form of semi-frozen and frozen water mixed with normal water being dumped onto my front yard.

Utah, man.

You lucky bastard! My bike has not moved since early October. It is in storage mode, up on the stands, on the Battery Tender, full tank of treated fuel, and covered up. But I could have it out and on the road pretty quickly. I did get out last New Years Day, but it isn't looking promising this year.

It's the luck of the draw, man. Last year I could ride at least one day every month of the winter. This year I've been riding a lot less. More wet white stuff on the road.

Trade ya. -30’s last week, it got warm & started snowing hard Friday night & we got a foot of new, then it got into the lower +30’s and started raining this morning. Now there’s 8 solid inches of heavy ass slush on top of 3/4 inch of wet ice. Took me 6 hours to clear 50yards of road….it’s 300 to the first state maintained road. It’s Alaska…it’s supposed to be cold in winter, dammit.

At least you're not surrounded by transplant Californians who can't drive on anything other than dry pavement.

Lolol sez you…. you have no idea how many GA, FL, & TX tags are up here.. 2 military bases in town, both had a major PCS influx of newbies. Good year to own a tow truck!
