As government becomes more and more intrusive in medicine, I see this becoming the norm

A walk-in, same-day MRI clinic.

$399 for a same day MRI?  That's cheaper than some people's deductibles!

Getting the actual MRI takes about 30-45 mins and you’ll get your images and a radiologist report. Taylor is a board-certified radiologist specialist trained in Musculoskeletal Imaging at the Mayo Clinic, so you can trust the results you get.

Unless you've worked in the medical field, I don't think you can understand the special kind of hell that is government insurance.  Any kind.  Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, any medical insurance requires extra staff just to deal with getting reimbursements.  Tricare is the worst of them, but none of them are good.

Regular insurance is better, but that's not a glowing recommendation.

More and more doctors, once they get established, are starting medical clinics that are cash on the barrel.  Payment for services rendered, and insurance can piss off.  Trust me, if my choice was going through a doc and waiting, and still paying $500 for the deductible, or just walking into this clinic and paying $100 less?  I'm walking in.

But.....but.....but.... Guvmint run ANYTHING is way better than some guy making it easy and affordable. We know what's better for you because we've got suits and fancy haircuts and lots of letters behind our names from expensive schools you couldn't afford. Besides, look how well Britain and Canada do with the National Health Service. Services are cheap. (The fact that you'll probably be dead by the time your service is available is immaterial. That's how we keep costs down!)

"Instead of having that surgery, you should just take a pill!" - Barack Hussein Obama, Lord, God and King of the Democrats

I guarantee that jug-eared fuck will be getting his surgery and not taking a pill, but that's because he's become wildly rich off his government connections. Isn't it amazing that people who haven't worked in the private sector become millionaires after a few years? It's like MAGIC!

No wonder they hate Trump. He's stopping their gravy train.
