Here's a good example of the 1-5-4 chord progression:
G, C, and D chords. But this simple little song still blows modern pop music out of the water.
A) It's five separate people playing five different instruments.
B) It's three people singing in harmony on the chorus.
C) They sound just as good live as they do in studio, because they're actual musicians.
