Socialism makes people Selfish.
Los Angeles, which is just about as Socialist as you can get without installing Central American dictators, is also full of some of the most selfish, self-centered assholes you're ever going to meet.
Everywhere liberal thought has taken hold in this country, people have become more selfish, less giving, and it shows. Does anyone honestly think that Detroit would be a hellhole today because Republicans were in charge? Anyone?
Baltimore hasn't had a Republican mayor in my lifetime. Hell, they haven't had a Republican mayor in my boss' lifetime. They are a Democrat run, Democrat controlled city, filled with selfish feral people.
Now, are there still good people in LA and Baltimore? Sure. But they're not in charge, are they?
