Robin Hood did not steal from the rich and give to the poor - that's just a fable concocted by the damned communists in Hollywood.
What Robin Hood did was reclaim the unjust taxes from the government and give it back to the people who were being economically raped. How do you think Prince John and the Sheriff of Nottingham got all that gold anyways? Alchemy?

Hi. Just discovered your blog. I love the movie "The Adventures of Robin Hood" (1938 classic with Errol Flynn & Olivia deHavilland). Orrin Judd has a review of it from 2003 when it was released on DVD that thinks the way you do. In fact, when I teach the unit on the middle ages and English common law (high school world history), I use his review.
