Took a friend up to a town to pick up a few items. Normally this friend could go on his own, but he recently had his ankle replaced, so his wife won't let him out of the house unless there's someone else around.
No, he's not henpecked. This is the mans 5th surgery on that ankle. Near as we can tell, he pushed himself too soon after each surgery, didn't let the ankle heal, and it just kept getting worse. He's a stubborn cuss. So at this point, his wife is threatening to tie him to the couch in order to keep him from walking before he should.
Someone even gave him a get-well card that said "SIT! STAY!" on the front of it. I kid you not.
Anyways, I think I've spent more time in the house over the week after work hours than I did this weekend. Ah well. Sometimes that's just life. See ya all tomorrow.
