FrontPage magazine.com

Do you read it at all?

I have been working out a lot lately, down from 255 in August to 232 today, still probably 15 pounds over but no longer "obese" (technically-speaking, I was).

When I visit the gym, I typically go with the Stairmaster, since it is low impact and high cardio. That's what I need.

And, no, that's not me on the right...

Since when one uses a star climber one is typically stationary, I take stuff to read. My favorite source for "stuff to read", for the thirty or so pages I can get through in 550 calories, is Front Page Magazine Online.

Ever been there?

Here's a sampling:

Halliburton
It is certainly true that during a two year period Halliburton’s revenue from Defense Department contracts doubled. However, that increase in revenue occurred from 1998 to 2000 - during the Clinton administration. The Facts on Halliburton by Michael P. Tremoglie

Bus 19
In advance of the Fourth Annual Conference of the Palestine Solidarity Movement, the remains of a civilian passenger bus bombed by terrorists in Israel this year will be publicly displayed on Duke University campus this week by Chabad, a Jewish campus organization. Al-Qaeda's "Boogie to Baghdad"
In February 1999, according to the report, the CIA wanted to conduct U-2 surveillance missions over bin Laden’s camps in Afghanistan. But Clarke worried that doing so might scare bin Laden into leaving the country — and going to Iraq.

If that happened, the report says, Clarke feared that bin Laden’s “entire network would be at Saddam Hussein’s service” and the United States would never be able to find him.

Media Bias
Their modus operandi is calling conservatives: racists, bigots, hate-mongers, warmongers, Nazis, trigger-happy cowboys, gun nuts, psychos, despoilers of the environment and political Ebenezer Scrooges rubbing their bony hands together in greedy glee as widows and orphans starve in the streets simply to boost the profits of their junk bonds.

Consider a few great moments of liberal civility...
